Had Midtown install siding at my home, completed Dec 2020
Had Midtown install siding at my home, completed Dec 2020. Now we can't seem to get warranty work completed on my siding install. Lost a piece of siding in June , only ~6 months after the install work completed. Out of the 5 leftover cases picked up from the install that were in their warehouse, still cannot get materials installed. The piece just peeled off, not even in a wind storm. The wind storm that creased the piece still on the house happened a week later...To be fair, for the most part the install was done well, just missing the attaching of the water spigots back on the house, and minor trim that wasn't finished off. Yet the large piece missing above the garage is the biggest. Being on a corner in the neighborhood, everyone drives by my home and sees the bright orange insulation from where the siding peeled off. Everyone. We're now almost at 6 months since notification to Midtown and countless emails, and seems to be a common theme with customers.Btw thanks for the call to remind me that a review would be appreciated. I'm just wanting it fixed, as they have materials to do so.

Midtown Home Improvements in TN, Salesperson to Quote New Windows
Midtown Home Improvements in TN had their salesperson visit us to quote new windows for the front of our house on 3/31. We were told it would take about 12 to 14 weeks. It's now 8/19. Throughout this time, they promised bi-weekly updates, which never came. I had to call for updates, and was met with excuses about material shortages and COVID-19 disruptions. They last indicated delivery by 8/16, but it's 8/19, and there's been no communication. We're now at 20 weeks, regretting our $5,000 deposit. After speaking with their GM, who had more excuses and refused to refund our deposit due to manufacturing processes and a binding contract, I would not recommend them. If and when they install the windows, I'll be meticulously overseeing the installation to ensure it's done correctly.

They installed E-shield insulation, replaced a basement door and installed 4 windows. They were easy to work with, did great work and on time. I will use them again for other home improvements in the future.
They did great with our new siding and sliding glass door. We will definitely be using them again in the future.
Replaced a giant picture window that had been poorly installed by previous contractor. Looks great.
We had them over today to give us a bid. We were very impressed with the company credibility and quality of materials they use. They were very knowledgeable in talking us through even the design process for a new deck. We signed a contract on the spot and wait to see our new deck. A big thank you to *** and *** for answering all our questions!
I think that Midtown did a good job installing our shower
I think that Midtown did a good job installing our shower. The shower looks beautiful. The only problem is that it did not coordinate with what I already had. The salesman/ decorator/designer helped us to coordinate our shower to what we had on the floor tile and the counter-top but it did not work out so well. What we picked out was a grayish looking tile for the shower, but when it was installed it came out looking beige. So, I now have a beige shower, a blue floor and a white and gray countertop. Midtown is aware of this and told me that they would work with me. Unfortunately, that meant that we would need to spend one thousand dollars more to purchase a new floor. I was not planning on spending more money to purchase a floor. I just wanted to update the shower. I am not sure what kind of training the salespeople have in decorating or designing, but I did not feel that our representative did us justice. I told the salesperson that we appreciated him helping us coordinate everything, because we were not good at that, but it did not turn out good even with his help. I don't know what we could have done differently or how we would have known that the lighting in the bathroom would change the colour. Midtown Home Improvements were good to work with except for this one factor.
They did an awesome job installing my composite deck. The guys were very professional and advised me of every set. I will contact them again for future remodeling needs.
I signed a contract with Midtown in Feb. 2022 for a patio cover to be installed. I was told I was getting a better price to fill a spot in the schedule where someone had cancelled and my project would be done at latest by the end of May 2022. It is now August and the project is finally done. I was promised multiple times that the materials for my project were on a truck and headed this way. When materials finally arrived they were missing a pet door that we ordered. The pet door at one time was the reason for the delay with materials shipping. I was told so many stories over the time its hard to remember everything they messed up. One of the guys from midtown showed up at my house basically demanding to be paid in full before the project was complete. He said that without me paying in full he could not pay his subcontractors and gave me grief that his guys would not be able feed their families without me paying in full. After my discussion with one of the guys I decided I needed to climb on the roof and look how they attached this patio cover to my house and why it was leaking. If I could upload a photo nobody would hire this company for a project. The caulking looked like my fire year old son did it. They finally came back and installed flashing that hopefully fixes the leaks. All though the flashing they installed looks like *** I'm going to pay them and hope to never deal with them again. I would never recommend Midtown for any home repair projects. The entire process I never felt good with my decision to choose Midtown.
Midtown replaced my 3 season room that was completely separated from my roof. They installed new composite decking, new walls, windows, sliding glass door and new outside decking with railings. Took a while to finish the project but definitely worth it. The crew was professional and very courteous. *** made changes to the original plans and his improvements made us LOVE the room even more. Numerous neighbors came around during construction and were very interested in the company.
We had all of our windows replaced and they look amazing! We will be calling them for our next project for sure.

We learned of this company at the local home show in town and when we met with the representative to discuss replacing our deck, we were provided a thorough presentation that included things like their company values and what to consider, while appearing intentional about their product offerings. This was nice, as the representative appeared to demonstrate great morals and integrity, while not avoiding questions or providing responses that seemed cliche or disingenuous. We appreciated efforts to work with us on several options from design to financing and our representative showed great professionalism and courtesy the entire time. Not once did we feel pressured, forced, pushy, assertive, aggressive or anything that says if I made this deal today, I should feel buyer's remorse, particularly when you respect that as a sales rep, there job is to close the deal. This rep is about client satisfaction and being reasonable and fair, which is why the initial thorough information provided comes full circle. At this time, we feel optimistic about the upcoming work that will be done on our deck, if it's at least as good as the feeling we had when speaking with our representative. As of April 21st, 2022, we've had our deck about a week now and it's just been amazing all the way around. From the quality installation, the installer, the materials used and follow up. Only time will tell in the long run, but we are optimistic and confident that we selected the right company in using Midtown Home Improvement for our deck build.
Midtown has amazed us once again! They replaced our windows last year and this year, we had them replace our old deck. The whole project took maybe a week. We love our new deck! Please consider Midtown for your home improvement projects!
Loved them will be using them when I'm ready. Very professional
We had a large vinyl fence installed replacing a very old chain link. The workers were efficient, friendly and did a good job installing. The fence is very high quality and should last a long time. The pricing was high but worth it in the long haul.
The men who built our new deck were nice & informative. They kept us informed of progress; I especially appreciate their understanding and efforts when I decided I could not live with the placement of one post. Completed in a timely manner despite rain ; plus Memorial Day weekend!

Overall, this company was morally okay with pressuring me to start paying for windows that didn't work
Overall, this company was morally okay with pressuring me to start paying for windows that didn't work. Is this the type of company you want in your home for a large purchase? Six of the eleven windows Midtown installed in my home on May 30th do not seal or lock properly. I informed Midtown of this issue the evening my windows were installed and emailed a video of the windows. Two days later Project Manager *** came to my home to inspect the windows. He was in my home for an hour and a half attempting to bend the window latches with pliers. After he realized that all six of the windows needed to be reinstalled he said to me, Let's talk about the financing contract. I had not signed the contract yet as the installation had not been completed. By not signing the contract this makes Midtown solely responsible for the windows. I respectfully replied, Im not comfortable signing as the windows are not properly installed. Even after telling this man that I was uncomfortable, *** continued to disrespect me in my home by saying, You have your windows. Midtown has installed them. Once you sign the financing contract your warranty will be able to fix your windows. Midtown wanted me to sign the financing contract and use my warranty so that Midtown no longer had to be responsible for their poor installation and/or poorly manufactured windows. This company was morally okay with pressuring me to start paying for windows that didn't work. Is this the type of company you want in your home for a large purchase? There are so many other quality companies to choose from. Do not risk it. Do not use Midtown.
I cant say enough good things about my new deck that Midtown recently installed
I cant say enough good things about my new deck that Midtown recently installed. The entire process was smooth, especially with *** keeping me informed about every step of the process. Starting with an in-person presentation by *** and ***, I immediately knew I wanted to work with Midtown for my new deck. There was no pressure, and they took a significant amount of time to patiently answer my laundry list of questions and help me identify what I wanted in a deck.At the time, I was sold entirely on the maintenance-free Zuri material for the deck. The price was a little higher than I had originally budgeted, but I wanted something that could stand the test of time. Little did I know just how beautiful the deck would be! We went with the Brazilia finish and couldnt be happier. The first time we saw the finished deck, we were actually a little worried that it was a little too nice. It is by far the nicest deck in the neighborhood, and Ive received compliments from all of my neighbors. I really appreciate the extra add-ons that I didnt know existed in decks, such as a heavy-duty gate so that my dogs can be kept on the deck and the built-in lights that turn on automatically at sundown.Regarding the installation, the crew took their time in making sure the deck was installed properly. I am a former community development director for my city, and the building inspector for the project was a former employee of mine. When he did his final inspection he commented to me that it is by far the nicest deck hes seen and that the construction was top notch; in an effort to make sure the deck was stable, Midtown installed more piers and joists than were required by our citys very strict building code. Even though they had to jackhammer through our very *** and unforgiving landscape, they did not sacrifice quality.Midtown is a wonderful company that I will happily do business with again for future home projects.

DO NOT ALLOW THEM IN YOUR HOMESUPER PRESSURE SALES TACTICS Complaintsboard.com should not allow such a company to be listed as A+I allowed this company to come to my home for a deck estimate. Do not invite them to come to your home for an estimate. This business sent a salesman that used atrocious pressure to get us to sign that evening. I explained to him that I felt he was putting pressure on me with all our company is the best tactics and he told me that I was being rude by not allowing him to finish his sales pitch. This company expects you to pay an inflated price for a deck, applies above and beyond sales pitches, and pressures you to sign that evening or his price will no longer be good; even though it is supposed to be a year long quote. His sales tactics were worse than buying a car. I asked him to stop insulting my intelligence by presenting his company this way, and he tried to tun it around that I was not allowing him to do his job. His breaks that he was giving me in his estimate made him look worse. Their presentation is hours long and most people do not have that time after work with children. To get fed and put to bed. Yes, I asked for an estimate, but why would it take hours, pressure me not to get other quotes, state that Midtown will not rip off people like other companies, and expect me to sign immediately for such an expensive project? If this company is so good, then why would they allow someone like him to represent the company? His presentation was that his position was that we were lucky he came to our home and not another Midtown salesperson, because his title allowed him to cut our $40,000 deck down to $25,000 because he is better than the other Midtown sales reps. *** if Midtown is such a good customer pleasing business, why would the company even send another salesman that could not offer the same price as him? So, Midtown customers only get a break if he comes into my home and not another one of THEIR salesmen?
In September , one of Midtown's "Canvassers" came to my door asking about our home improvement projects
In September , one of Midtown's "Canvassers" came to my door asking about our home improvement projects. As a matter of fact, we had been looking to building a new deck for several years. Later in the week they sent a salesman out to pitch their product. We said NO initially because the price he quoted could build a whole HOUSE. We got another quote from another company that was half that. Midtown then sent another guy in the following week, and we had a longer talk about exactly what we wanted. After that, he was about the same as the other company. We agreed to proceed with the project. When March arrived, we talked with the salesman again and specified we wanted aluminum handrail with the *** decking we originally chose. This was a *** but we felt that look suited us better than the vinyl they usually push. It took a bit to get that change properly enacted though. We had issues with the financial people not receiving it, to the construction crew not reviewing it. They delivered the wrong sized materials and the crew started opening boxes. The wrong cap lights were brought the second time also. They almost dug column holes through our retaining wall drain tile after I told them the day prior to hand dig that. Luckily, I was here for it all, but it could have gone south fast had I not been. However, they DID send the best guys they had as I requested as they were very nice and understanding as I came out often to look/check. The deck manager was here every other day the last half of the project making sure things got corrected. He communicated well with me, and these instances I had were addressed. In total, their sales pitch leads something to be desired, their coordination between office, sales and construction crew also needs some tidying. These things are the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. But the result was a beautiful product/deck built just as we designed it which exceeded our expectations. So, kudos the crew and deck manager. We love it!
Our deck was the first adventure to our home repair journey
Our deck was the first adventure to our home repair journey. We gathered three bids to ensure we were well informed. Not being from this area and making this level of investment put a ton of pressure on me as a consumer. We selected Midtown as they had a better product. Pricing was within range of the competitors. The scheduling, demo, installation, and clean up. Top notch. Now time for the kitchen. Hmmm. Do we, don't we? Same as before, gathered three bids. Decided to split the effort into Part 1 and Part 2 due to the expense. Part 1 - the u-shape replacement. We would do the demo to save money. Now for the vendor. We selected Midtown. They had a great product. The scheduling and installation - Top notch. The installers were low key and so easy to work with. They took their time and made sure every detail was covered. Where Midtown exceed expectations was helping us to design our kitchen Part 2. Rob spent so much time here with tape on the floor and worked to find what 'we' want even when we hadn't yet decided. Thinking out loud and then mapping it out in the space. We have a customized centerpiece to our space. This install was highly customized and was done by a pro team. We have had Midtown for all of our other projects - windows, specialized windows, special order wide doors (sliding and front door) - installers were amazing! Midtown just finished the basement shower replacement and the hall bath remodel. We ordered a custom vanity from a different company and they had no problem scheduling around that delivery even during COVID delays. Installer - top notch. We have found that all of the bidders used the same sales techniques. Our decisions came down to product, quality, installation, and warranties. The first two decisions were huge risks for us as the deck was falling off and kitchen was falling apart. Once we selected Midtown the journey became easier. We no longer go out for other bids. We know our sales guy. We know what we are getting is great quality at market costs with top notch installation.

ATTENTION ALL WOMEN- DO NOT USE THIS MISOGYNISTIC COMPANY My husband and I are in the process of getting siding/ gutter quotes from multiple companies. We had Midtown come out on Tuesday 8/11 to provide a quote. My husband was busy inside the house with our daughter and frankly has ZERO interest in sales pitches, picking colors, types of siding etc so I went out side to meet the two sales guys to tell them what I wanted and get a quote. They came up to the house and did the typical "how did you hear about Midtown", "we have been in business for XX years" blah blah blah and then asked where my husband was. I proceeded to tell them that he was busy inside the house and that he would not be part of the quoting process. They REFUSED to proceed with showing me the siding options, siding education and pricing. They advised that my husband MUST be present to proceed and they would need to reschedule when we are both available. The one guy even made a comment of "in my house, anything over $1,000.00 needs to be a conversation". Keep in mind that this is just the quoting process. I wasn't signing a contract, handing over money or anything like that. Obviously, my husband and I would make a decision together on which company we were going to use but again THIS WAS THE QUOTING PROCESS. We have had several other companies come out and no one required this, I was the only one present during the meetings. Midtown called me two days later to reschedule and asked if *** was available. I told them again that we have a toddler running around and its hard for us to both be 100% present for an hour while they do their sales pitch and that I would be the one making the siding type and color decisions. They said they are not allowed to give pricing, etc without the husband present. I told them that unfortunately, if they can't meet with me only that they will not be getting our business and they hung up. I was mind blown and completely offended that they took it upon themselves to assume that as a woman, I was not capable to handling the quoting process without my husband. I guess men are the only ones allowed to make the decisions if you want to work with this company. Not only that, but times are hard right now with COVID so I would think that as a company that's operating during these times, you would want any business that comes your way. Apparently not, they pick and choose who their customers are. When they tell you that this is a "family business", they are lying. This is a MAN "boy club" company. DO NOT USE THIS MISOGYNISTIC COMPANY.
This is a mixed review because I had good and bad experiences with Midtown
This is a mixed review because I had good and bad experiences with Midtown. But the bad outweigh the good. First, the good. The installer team was great. David, Troy, and Cody. They were professional. They installed my new front door efficiently, yet with great care. They cleaned up as they went along and were cognizant of any messes they were making. They were sure to keep me informed about what was going on, as well as instruct me on how to maintain the quality of the door. Second, the bad. Pushy sales tactics. Jason is a typical pushy salesman. I will take the blame for not doing more research on what kind of door we wanted, but Jason wouldn't even give us a day to think about the decision we were about to make. And it's an expensive decision. He strongly pushed us to choose during the appointment and did all of the sleazy tactics - like find extra discounts if we were unsure; try to discredit every other company around, etc. We asked multiple times if we could wait a day and he firmly said no, we needed to choose now to get these discounts. So we signed. Then buyers remorse kicked in. So we looked at other styles of doors, and we called him to see if we could make a change. Sure, he said. No problem. Then why did we have to make the decision before? Jason told us that it would be 8-10 weeks before we got our door installed. When I called him for an update about half way through, he said that no, it was 8-12 weeks, and had been the whole time. He also promised that the installers would do any extra work required to make sure the door fit and that they would have materials to do it. Installation day came finally. The installers looked at the door we had and said that it wouldn't fit the opening. Excuse me? The door that was ordered for us was too big. It was too wide, and it was too deep for the opening. The production manager at Midtown made a mistake and the extra materials weren't loaded onto their truck because it was wrong in the computer. Ok, so not the installer's fault. He was set up to fail with the tools and materials he had. This was 13 weeks in already. Jason blamed everyone except Midtown. "It was a computer error at the manufacturing plant." "We don't control it once it leaves our office." So they left and I had to call the office to get another appointment. It got setup for the following week. Great! that's 14 weeks, but at least it will get done. Nope. It didn't happen then, either. 2 more weeks. Finally it got installed after 16 weeks. And our salesman? Oh, he stopped responding to me after we had a lengthy conversation about how upset I was, and how he didn't keep his promises. He apologized, of course, but he didn't do anything to rectify the situation. Come to find out, he was too concerned with his upcoming vacation to Mexico to call me back. Final thoughts. Go with another company. Other companies install the same type of door at a lower price, and can get it installed sooner. And, they don't give you the run around if something goes wrong. The product is great. It's a ProVia door and we are very happy with it. But I will never go with Midtown for another project. Not based on this experience.

We ordered a sliding glass door for our kitchen in early March
We ordered a sliding glass door for our kitchen in early March . The company anticipated the arrival of the custom fit door sometime in June. When arrived, in July, they brought it out and the installer told us that the wrong door was given to him, because the measurements were incorrect to begin with. He took the door back with him. We waited awhile and didn't hear from the company; I called them and the person I dealt with was the one that measured the door. He was very rude. He said he was busy and errors happen. It didn't seem like a big deal to him. We paid $445 for down payment for a door that was going to cost $4000.00. July 13th was the last time I spoke with the general manager, offering a small discount, but that we are still liable for the total cost of the door. The new door was to be completed August 4; we don't have the door and we haven't heard from the company. I have lost my faith in this company and want a full refund. I don't want any door from them.

We had a deck built by them in 2018 and have a warranty on it. I have some warping of boards and loose stairs and now the power box went out on the lights on top of posts. I contacted them about this and someone came out in January to look at the issues. They said they would sent the information to their claim guy and I have not heard back since. I've talked to through email, several times, a *** about the issues and she's said she would get in touch with them. I have heard nothing back, it's been 5 months and I need these issues resolved. I am still making payments on this deck that now has issues and they will not contact me back.

On Mar 3 2021, we wnt thru Midtown Home Improvements to get our front door replaced. It ws quoted originally tht around mid-May the door would be deliver n install. We agreed to have it done n gave a $500 dep. Next day a worker came out to measure our existing dr frm for the replacement dr to be built. This wrkr came out n felt the need to bend back the aluminum trim around r existing dr frm while measuring. This left the trim damaged n crinkled. Dr wasn't completed and delivered until June 14, once it was delivered th door was th wrong size. They reordered the dr and told us it would be another 6-8 wks. It'd been 4 mths that we've had this damaged front door. July 20, we were sent n email saying the dr was on backorder n we would b notified when we had a delivery date. This is when me n my wife decided we're done waiting n dealing with this damaged frame done by this company. We have cancelled the loan for the work and are seeking our $500 deposit back n r door frame fixed.

On July 9 (4 months ago) two salesman from Midtown Home Remodeling came out to our new home we just purchased to give an estimate on 13 windows in our home. Since that date, no one has called us to keep us updated or informed of what is going on with our order. We were told by our salesman at the time of our order that the estimated ETA would likely be October - ok, fine! That is before winter months, so that was acceptable. Never heard from anyone to (neither company or salesman) follow-up or confirm an October installation date. So I called in October to get an update, *** then said November. Now, it's November 3rd & I called this morning and spoke to *** again and now it could possibly be the week of November 15, or Thanksgiving week, or the first week in December. No one can seem to give me answers but they date keeps getting pushed further and further out & now we're going into winter months! We put down $5,000 on our windows! They of course cashed that check. Pretty sure the salesman got their commission off of our sale, the company has our $5,000 down payment, but we still have no windows! When I called in October, I asked to cancel the order and for a refund of the $5,000 and was told that couldn't happen because the supplies have supposedly already been ordered. There has been absolutely NO communication whatsoever from this company unless I call for an update! We ordered the windows for our new house because winter is coming and now we're headed into the winter months and still do NOT have new windows! This business is horrible! No communication AT ALL! Our salesman advised us that we'd have someone "assigned" to our order which I guess is *** because that's who I'm transferred to when I call. She hasn't reached out on her own one time! Bottom line, I truly wish we could get our $5,000 back because this is poor service! The salesman did a great job of selling this horrible company to us for sure! Great job Guys! This is a JOKE!
We hired Midtown Home improvements on June 1 to build us a deck . They cannot secure the building permit to do this. We gave them a $2000 deposit and as of December 26 we do not have the deck and no resolution as when it will be built . I just want to get my deposit back to find someone to fix my deck.
I had Midtown build my deck for me about 16 years ago
I had Midtown build my deck for me about 16 years ago. I got a 30 year warranty on materials and construction when I bought the deck. The deck is now pulling away from my house and is unsafe to use. I called Midtown about this in the middle of March and 1 gentlemen came out at the end of March twice. He couldn't find a reason why the deck is pulling away from the house, so he was going to have to refer this to his Deck Manager. Since then nothing has happened. I have called several times looking for an update. Most times I get a voice mail or a we will have to call you back tomorrow (which rarely happens). And once I got a the Deck Manager will be there on Friday. And no one showed up. It is now the end of April, Spring is here and I can't use my deck... I have a warranty, I am looking for Midtown to honor there warranty. Or at the very least come in, tell me what is wrong with the deck and why whatever happened isn't covered by the warranty. Right now I am just being ignored.

On August 22, we contracted to have total deck replacement with synthetic boards. The work started February 10. The subcontractor crew that did the work was efficient and appeared very skillful. A different crew installed the cover and ceiling fans. The work was completed in early March and appeared to be a good job. My issues started shortly thereafter. Only 2 of 11 LED lights on the posts do not light and there was a lack of oversight on the cover design. Whenever we have any amount of rain, there is a literal waterfall coming off the cover next to the door that is used to access the deck. It is an annoyance in warm weather, and promises to be a major safety issue when the temperature is low. The general manager was informed of these issues offered a fix and assured us that they would be addressed. After several weeks of no response telephone calls were made and certified letters were sent with no acknowledgement other than acceptance of the letters.
We hired this company to put a roof on about a year ago. We noticed the shingles are lifting up along the sides and periodically in the middle of the home. We called the company and they came out and took some pictures. The tech said he believed the shingles had a defect. We didn't hear anything so I called again. They said they would reach back out and have not. I am worried they aren't going to fix the issue.

Damages to inside ceiling and wall etc due to leaking caused by siding installation that left large gaps and no sealing either
Damages to inside ceiling and wall etc due to leaking caused by siding installation that left large gaps and no sealing either. Siding was installed last September and had one issue after with lack of sealing that after multiple times and finally demand that they repaired. But they left areas not easily noticeable on second story with large gaps around windows and unsealed. They trick the customer into signing off without any expert review by them. In the month of April on multiple rain days starting on 04/14, the ceiling and wall in our master suite is damaged by leaking rain due to the gaps and no seal. I contacted our insurance company first to determine if a roof issue but the roof is fine and was replaced in 2016-17 timeframe. They noticed the very large gaps and lack of sealing. Pictures were provided to Midtown and text notice with a response of looking at it but no response since and not fixed. Damages are over $2k per insurance. Pending final payment due 09/15.

I had a small deck installed on my property in June . There were tons of problems with inferior material being delivered for a very small deck. A 3-day job took over 3 weeks to complete. When *** came out to pick up the payment, I pointed out to him 2 handrail boards that were defective and needed to be replaced. He took photos and claimed he sent them over to the people who fix problems. Told me it might be a few weeks, as they are really busy. I can't stain the wood until I get these boards replaced. After a month passed, and I got no info on it's scheduling, I began texting asking for an update. I have been texting *** for 2 months asking for status. He usually doesn't respond, and when he does he tell me he will check on it. I never hear back from him after he "checks" on it. Midtown sold me on using their company based on the promise of customer service and quality materials. That has not been my experience. Spend your money some place else.
We started a contract with Midtown Home Improvements in April. They finally started contacting us about this installation in June and started the install process on August 23. After the install began, we learned that the soffett color is not what we ordered. They did not have enough product. Now they are telling us they can't get that color any more but they are trying to find something close and that could take up to 12 weeks. Mean time, all work has stopped and my house is half done.
I signed the agreement and put down the initial $2,905 on 3/1. *** with Midtown called to let me know that work would be starting around 4/12. New deck was done on the evening of 4/15 with exception to removing forms and supports. The crew asked for payment on 4/15 so they would receive their money on that Friday 4/16 paycheck. No problem, I paid the remainder of the $20,479.00 so they could get paid. The crew returned the following week to remove the forms and temporary supports. The crew explained that someone would be out to finish the missing siding, j-channel and clean up. Left post is out of level by over half a bubble Middle post is also slightly out of level J-channel is not secured to the home 2 Joists are hovering above the cantilever beam not sitting on it like they should. Concrete form still on the back of the stair slab Under deck board tie in completely bent Under deck board is not finished with dye/paint Under deck board is so unlevel
I purchased windows from Midtown Home Improvevement in Aril, 2021
I purchased windows from Midtown Home Improvevement in Aril, 2021. They were finally installed in September. When they were finished there were several minor flaws on the exterior which were taken care fairly soon. However, several of the interior wood frames were splintered. The installer tried to putty and stain these but I was not satisfied. Someone came out and put a new frame around one of the upstairs window, it weas left without being being sanded and finished. The downstairs in the kitchen was never taken care of. I called several times and someone finally came out and he said it would be taken care of. The kitchen frame was leaking cold air into the house, so I had to put tape over it. He assured me that this would be taken care of. This was before Christmas. Again, nothing happened. I have called several times but have never gotten past the person answering the phones. I paid thousands of dollars for these windows and I shouldn't be worse off than I was before I bought the windows.

We signed a contract with this company in August
We signed a contract with this company in August. They were remodeling a master bath room. We made a down payment of $6342.00. We paid by check. They began work and it was finished in about October. The workmanship is sloppy. Both faucets in the double sink are not connected to the counter top. They installed two mirrors over the vanity, the one on the right is not centered, and the light fixture on the right is also not centered. The countertop is scratched and were scratched as soon as they took them out of the boxes. The knobs on the cabinets need to be tightened. They were short three handles on the drawers. They were mailed, but we had to install them ourselves. The floor tile was not installed properly: it doesn't go up to the shower's edge. There are parts where the grout is not filled in. We never received a price sheet on any of the finishes that were used despite asking for it twice. We paid a total of $15,746.00. We have called them about these issues, calling before Christmas. We have spoken to many people but we have not been able to get any resolution to any of these issues.

In October we agreed to order a new front door
In October we agreed to order a new front door. It was suppose to be installed in January 2022. We gave them a $100 deposit and ordered it. They sent someone to measure the doorway and they had to rip off the trim to get an accurate measurement. He did put it back on but there was damage to the trim and wall but I figured we would be okay for a couple months. January came and we never heard anything so I contacted them. They said the manufacturer was waiting on the glass we ordered and is having a delay because of Covid. The new estimated time was mid February. Once again the time came and we hadn't heard anything so I called again. Same thing with waiting for the glass and now it would be March. I waited till mid March and still hadn't heard anything so I called again and now they are saying mid April because of the glass still. I requested to cancel the order because we are in a different financial situation and we never expected it to take this long. They had the sales manager speak to me because our original sales rep isn't there anymore. The sales manager was very rude and condescending to me. He basically said if I want to cancel the project I would have to pay 20% of the project, which would be about $[protected], for nothing. They said the 20% covers damages they will incur, I'm the one with damage to my house where their measurement guy tore up my wall and trim, but they will have damages? He then went on to explain how they do millions of dollars worth of renovations every year that are way more involved then pushing a button to order a door. He just wanted to know what we could do to "put this to bed" and do the project. He then offered $300 off as a convenience fee for our waiting. Well on a $8500 project $300 doesn't amount to much. I told him I no longer trust their company and just want to cancel it. I offered to give them $500 to cancel it and he said it would have to be more than that.

On July 9 (4 months ago) two salesman from Midtown Home Remodeling came out to our new home we just purchased to give an estimate on 13
On July 9 (4 months ago) two salesman from Midtown Home Remodeling came out to our new home we just purchased to give an estimate on 13 windows in our home.
We had 12 windows installed 7/18 and as soon as the 1st winter came we noticed that all 12 leaked
We had 12 windows installed 7/18 and as soon as the 1st winter came we noticed that all 12 leaked. 1 so bad it has to be covered with plastic. We have had Midtown send out the same 2 workers over 5 times since this horrible experience has started each time for them to want to add more caulking and tear up our trim.(Looks a mess) Almost a year ago our Front Big window cracked for no reason. We finally requested the GM (***) to come out and see the windows. He did and after he took a piece of the trim off 1 of the windows to discover NO Insulation or Foam Spray. He said he now understood why they were leaking and it was a bad install. He would get us on the Schedule asap and Not have (***) the worker who was sent all the other times and didn't do the job correct. He would get us a different guy out to do the Job. Here we are now almost a year later after that conversation and None of the Work has been done still. We have now had them send a guy named (***) out who also just wanted to add more Caulking not pull the windows out and do the correct install. yet he showed up with No Calking and Not with the New sash to fix the Cracked one. Instead he made up the excuse he would come on a Saturday to do the work and acted very unprofessional. After the visit both of us felt uncomfortable with the (***) guy by what he said and how he acted while here. My Husband decided to send a email requesting that this work be done the proper way the way *** said it should be done, and the 2nd opinion that we received. Not by adding more Calking. Then this morning we have received a nasty voicemail from the (***) guy. He thought he hung up and didn't so we got to hear 4 mins of his true colors as to what he feels about our Family and our windows. We no longer want (***) here either nor anyone who thinks it is okay to be rude to customers. I have once again called the GM *** today and sent him (***) Voicemail via Text, I also called the Corporate # again and left a message for (***) We are at a loss as to what we need to do at this point. We paid $13,143.00 for 12 Windows top of the line that none have any kind of Insulation and All Leak. We did have a another Company come out to give a 2nd opinion, and I plan to call a handful more to get more estimates. We just want to new Sash for the front window put in and all the windows Installed correct with Foam Spray or Insulation.

Midtown Home Improvement at first were very friendly and I agreed to wait for the install to start till a time in between larger jobs
Midtown Home Improvement at first were very friendly and I agreed to wait for the install to start till a time in between larger jobs. They were set to replace Fascia and soffits and gutting (Some replacement Siding on the gables and front also came later). They started end of Feb and the first day it started I asked about what my Sales person stated about them tearing out the old soffit material first and making sure the Gables all had air flow up and into the attic (I bought special soffit that allows for air flow - more expensive) the Project manager stated no that was not in the description of the bid and I stated it was a no go they then stated they could cut a channel out the middle of the old soffit to allow air to flow but would not cut holes at the top of the gables to allow air flow into the attic. Reluctantly I agreed but as the day progress they did not cut the channel in the soffit either I called the Project Manager and he stated he would insure it all happened and get a hold of the installers. Also there were not to impend my removal of the siding in any way (on the contract). and that never happened either. After the 2nd day they stated they were low on material so had to order more. The "project manager Mark" stated it would be 10-14 days I stated ok but again I reminded him of things they were not doing (vents, not tearing down the 2x6 trims and cutting the siding away from the soffits. Well over the next 4 weeks I was told on numerous occasion they would be back out there on certain days, that day would come and go and no shows, call in and was told didn't so or so call you.. it is rescheduled to this date now well about 6 weeks later they showed up one morning when not even scheduled and proceed to try to finish the job which they did not, I paid and bought all the siding material which the crew through lack of experience could not cut any angle right and they wasted about 4 boards (about $45 each) and lines were never matched up and the hole for the gable vent was a mess. They even lined up a joint of 2 sheets in between 2 studs. The Fascia was a whole mess its own it had ripples and a lot of nail denting of material. and wide open joints on corners that rain and ice could form in. The project manager stated he thought it looked good I point to a neighbors houses with not that issue, he also stated the gutting would cover most of the bad spots up. I did not want just a cover up... I wanted done right and they way *** the first Salesperson described their work quality. They ended up coming out 3 more times trying to correct issues (even *** boss once) and I think my entry fascia looked worse each time and it is being replace by another company instead. They tired to even charge me for their mistake of not tearing down the 2x6 boards in front up by the soffits so they had to wrap them in metal instead. It was a very stressful experience dealing with a company with such low standards and high price tag for the work that got done. I finally fired them and stated I did not want them to do my gutters anymore and *** stated I could not back out of it and break the contract. I stated they broke the contract from the beginning by not following thru on any agreed upon solutions to issues that arose and over the course of taking them 2 months to completed a 3 day job at the most. I have had a number of actual gutter and siding /fascia professionals out here since and asked them their opinion without stating who performed the work and they all agreed it was very shoddy workmanship. This business should receive a no confidence rating. My house now actually gets hotter quicker and stays hot even on mild days with windows open and the attic vent on. I even received a bunch of new hammer dings on my covered trailer I had parked to the side.
