I'm really mad at this company
I'm really mad at this company. Some folks came to aerate my lawn, but they said they wouldn't even try because they thought the gate was too narrow. Did they even give it a shot? Nope. What did they do instead? They complained and said they had other stuff to do. I had to argue with them to at least give it a try. Can't they just do their job? And to make matters worse, they started swearing at me in front of my kids, dropping F-bombs left and right. I wanted them to aerate the *** lawn!
Then, a week later, they sent another guy who had no problem going through the gate and doing the job. But guess what? I still had to pay the full price. This company doesn't give a damn that they hired such rude people who don't care about their customers or doing their work. I would never recommend this company. It's just awful, awful.

Horrible service. I've used this company before and got decent results. But this year, it was horrible. We decided to go with liquid aeration instead of seed and fertilizer. The crew arrived on time, but they couldn't answer any of my questions. Like, how long should I wait before letting my dogs out? Why am I not seeing any seed? And why did it only take 15 minutes?
I called and emailed customer ***, and they said that because it's liquid, we wouldn't see anything on the yard as it all gets soaked up. They also told us that if we weren't satisfied after 30 days, we could contact them for a free reschedule. Well, it's been 30 days now, and we have nothing to show for the money we spent. No new growth, the ground is still rock hard, and the only reason it looks "green" is because of the recent rain.
I reached out to them to have them come back out, but I haven't received any response. We will NEVER use Mile Hi again!

I had an appointment scheduled for aeration and overseeding. They planted flags to mark the sprinkler heads (a big, wet, and cold job). I watered the lawn to ensure the best plug results. However, they called me at 6:00 PM, after I had made all the necessary preparations, and canceled my appointment for the next day. They claimed it was due to the snowstorm that occurred two days prior. They acted like it wasn't a big deal and without consulting me, they rescheduled for a week later. Yeah, right! If the snowstorm was the real issue, they should have known the next day that my appointment would need to be canceled. It just doesn't make sense. It's like when airlines cancel a flight, they don't cancel every flight after it to catch up. They keep the scheduled flights they can make and make up for the missed ones due to the snow on the ground. I'm not impressed with Mile Hi. Their explanation doesn't add up. I think they lied about it, but I'll never know why.

DISASTER- DISRESPECT FOR YOU and YOUR PROPERTY- TERRIBLE SERVICE. I used them in the past so I called for aeration/fertilization/overseeding this year at my new property. The tech came to the house while I was running an errand and finished in approximately 10 minutes doing a mid-size front and sloped backyard of around 1/4 acre. The tech laid dirt plugs all over the driveway, sidewalk, street, and yard walk areas. He also left a bag littering my front lawn, which I picked up and had still seeds inside. The advertized deep plug aeration doesn't show with being about half the size. I called the business and its representative disconnected after telling me that she must take another call. Then, the sarcastic GM asked if I am claiming "criminal damages" or wanting to "file an insurance" claim for that. This company refuses to use a blower /broom or simply turn off the aeration machine to avoid spreading dirt everywhere. As a comparison, my neighbor used another company for aeration and did not have any service issues. Don't expect any action, responsibility or apology from this company.
Mile Hi Services was the worst experience ever
Mile Hi Services was the worst experience ever. I hired them to clean my vents, and their website and the person I talked to both said it would be *** for 10 vents and *** for each additional vent. But when the Gentleman arrived, he told my wife that the return vents were *** each. That was the first red flag. The young man they sent was alone and only had a vacuum with him. The website says they use nylon rods and brushes, and also offer furnace dryer vent inspection and sanitizer. When I asked about the rods and brushes, I was told they don't do that anymore because customers complained it damaged their vents. However, it's still listed on their website as part of the service. He also said the sanitation was expensive and not worth it. So all he did was vacuum my vents, which I could have done myself. When I checked the registers after he left, they were still dirty. So I wasted *** for nothing! When I called to complain, the Manager laughed at me and told me not to buy a car if I don't like options. What? I asked to speak to someone above her, and she called me sexist and racist and refused. It was like throwing *** in the street for a *** vacuum. I called back later on Friday, and they said someone would call me back. They still haven't called, and I realize they won't. Clearly, false advertising and bait and switch. Absolutely no customer *** This wasn't the only bad experience. Last spring, I hired them for aeration and power rake. I waited all day for them to show up for the appointment. I called, and they said they were running late. At the end of the day, I called again, and they said they couldn't make it that day. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

I'm extremely disappointed with Mile Hi Services. They didn't even show up for our first appointment, so I had to call on the day and reschedule. When they finally came to do the job, it was far from satisfactory. Our yard had ZERO plugs, and on the ring camera, I saw them skipping rows in the backyard and finishing in under 2 minutes. We have a .30-acre lawn, so it should have taken more time and shown visible plugs. I called to complain, and a manager said they could send someone back, but no one showed up. I called again and spoke to ***, who questioned if we watered the lawn (we did, two days after a snowstorm). They defended their work, saying they work really hard and try to do as many houses as possible. That's not a good response when we paid $149 for a rushed, incomplete job. I requested someone else, but was told to give this person another chance. He spent 10 minutes on our yard and left, with barely any plugs. We know what a properly aerated yard should look like. They called later to upsell us on a free HVAC cleaning service, but I told them I would never use them because they didn't even do the first job properly. This business seems like a scam. We didn't get the service we paid for, the customer service was terrible, and we couldn't even dispute it. *** and the managers clearly don't care about customers. It's shocking that they have a ComplaintsBoard.com stamp of approval on their website. Someone needs to look into this problem. I have video footage and pictures from both jobs.

I hired Mile Hi Services to do lawn aeration on Oct 11, 2021. The service was supposed to plug my lawn, but it was done really bad. I called their customer *** on October 19. The customer *** person I talked to, *** laughed at my complaint, and the customer *** boss, *** didn't care about my worry and wouldn't let me talk on the phone and explain my experience and worries.

This is my second problem with Mile Hi Services - both because of false ads and not giving what they promised. Today, a subcontractor came to aerate the lawn - he had a rented machine, not one of the "Better Machines" they said they had. And he messed up the yard by not pulling back the tines when turning, leaving plugs all over the sidewalk and road. If you haven't charged me yet, I want today's service for free. I won't be telling my neighbors about you. You had a second chance, but you let me down. Disappointing.

I got my lawn aerated last September. I asked for a note to be left if I wasn't home, but the contractor seemed really rushed and didn't leave one. Anyway, after a couple of requests for the bill, I sent the payment, and it went through the bank on October 6. But I kept getting automated messages on my phone saying I still owed them money. I called at least twice and got transferred to different people. One time, they told me to call back when their bookkeeper was available. After two or maybe three of these calls, the person I spoke to each time assured me that the bill had been paid and my bank also confirmed it. When I complained about the constant calls, they promised it would stop. It's now February, and I'm still getting these automated calls almost every day.

On the day of service (5/6/22), a worker from Mile Hi came to my house and aerated and fertilized the yard, but didn't put any seed down. Right after the worker left, I called Mile Hi and talked to an employee named *** who brushed off my complaint about the missing seed. They said I wouldn't be able to see the seed without a magnifying glass. So, I got a magnifying glass and checked the yard in about 10 different spots. Turns out, there was absolutely no seed laid. I sent an email to the company asking them to reschedule the overseeding and finish the service I paid for, but they didn't reply. I called Mile Hi again and spoke to *** once more. They were really rude and disrespectful, not taking my complaint seriously.

On 4/6 we booked an aeration/fertilization with MileHi for 4/15. No one came from MileHi on 4/15 'cause of snow. Mile Hi rescheduled for 4/22. No one from Mile Hi came on 4/22, no explanation. The weather that date didn't stop Mile Hi's services. Mile Hi rescheduled again for 4/30 (today). Once again, no one from Mile Hi came today (a warm, sunny day) to do the agreed upon services. We called Mile Hi in the early afternoon today to ask if their personnel were coming as planned. The agent we spoke with just said they'd tell their supervisor. Still, no one from Mile Hi came and they didn't reach out to us directly. We just found out MileHi rescheduled the service again for May 4. These are terrible and unprofessional business practices that caused us a lot of trouble. They should be ashamed.

On the day of the service, the technician left a message saying they couldn't bring the equipment upstairs because I hadn't unlocked the backyard gate. So, no services were done. I thought that was the end of it. But then, the technician said they applied a chemical aeration instead (which wasn't what I ordered). Later, the billing department from Mile Hi contacted me, saying I owed them money. I told them I shouldn't have to pay for a service I didn't order. I asked to speak to a manager, and they said someone would call me back. After a few weeks, billing contacted me again, asking for payment. I once again explained that I shouldn't have to pay for what the technician decided to do without my consent. Finally, I spoke to someone who claimed to be the supervisor, and she was rude. She insisted that I owed $40.00.

We were instructed to water our lawns the evening before, which we did. 5/7 was date set for our service. Told by phone if we were not home, to leave check under front door mat and receipt would be left. The person who arrived to perform aeration had a regular (old looking) aerator - not one with prongs for deeper aeration as shown on TV ad. In fact, the machine broke down and my husband had to assist the man in getting it restarted. When we gave him the check and asked for a receipt, he said he did not have receipts. I called Mile-Hi and complained about the shallow aeration and expressed desire for refund. Their manager called me back and said they could do another service but not refund (this was message left on our message machine. I did not want their company back in our yard. I want others to be aware of their false advertising in their emails and in TV ads. I would like at least a partial refund.

My wife and I had dinner plans and left at 5pm. At 5:10pm, the babysitter called to say that someone was there, so I asked her to have him call me. However, he never did. They are charging $140 for a service that they haven't finished, and I refuse to pay until it's either done correctly or they immediately schedule someone to complete the job. There's no reason why this couldn't have been done on Thursday, and waiting around all day on Friday without any updates is absurd. I won't be using their service again and will instead look for a local company.
