Airline Tickets/Cancellation Refund
I bought a "cancel for any reason" insurance policy with my ticket in April as I am military with a leadership position. There is fine print stating that they will refund a maximum of $1000 (effectively $900 after a processing fee), but they have been non-responsive. It is not clear from the website how to execute cancellation, but I requested in writing and over the phone multiple times since May 7 with no action to refund me. I got a good deal on flights with them back in 2016, but I'm not sure who runs the company now. Ultimately, watch out. These people are scammers who take advantage of service members who are in a difficult position to demand honest business practices while stationed overseas. The discounts aren't worth it.
Desired outcome: Promptly refund my ticket before I take legal action against your company.
Ticket purchased without my approval
Was trying to purchase an airline ticket for my son in law, his wife, and two children. Entered all their needed information and received an email to click to confirm the purchase. The problem was two fold, when I added my credit card info it replaced my son in laws name with my name... Second the email asked me to click to confirm purchase... As there was no way to change the ticket request back to my son in laws name, I deleted the email and tried to find the same day cancellation process they listed in the faqs on their webpage, it doesn't exist. I called the number on their website no answer. Moments later I received an email with this confirmation code n8v2d6 saying the tickets had been purchased, in the wrong name and without my confirmation. Date of occurred [protected], time 723pm pst, record located 4755281... Flight ticket confirmation email dated [protected], time 750pm pst, ticket number n8v2d6... Again I did not approve this ticket purchase. Any help would be appreciated.

Flight fares
Militaryfares.com, thru Skytours is a rip off. I purchased two airfares on May 27, 2018 and had to change my flight, called a month before my flight and was told it would be a $75 charge. When I called back and dealt with Ligia, on July 3rd, with the dates, i was told it would $255 charge on each ticket and I had no credit on my remaining balance to apply towards my new flight. I emailed CS assistance and Luz replied with the same information. I called on July 11, asked Natalie, CS rep, for a Manager or Supervisor and she said there were none.
So now I have to pay over $1k again to book airline tickets. I will not use this site again. It's appalling that MILITARYFARES.COM AND SKYTOURS does not help the military at all.

plane ticket
DO NOT USE - the fact that there is no number to easily call if you have issues should be a huge warning. I had the worst experience booking through this website. I bought the ticket for an immediate family member to fly from the States to Germany. She was booked to fly through American Airlines. She missed her first flight due to a huge accident on the highway that shut it down and made her miss checking in on time. American Airlines said there was nothing they could do to reschedule her flight because it has to go through military fares.com The phone number listed is only available M-F from 10am to 5pm and not on weekends so there's a huge problem. Second problem they never answer anyways! We called multiple times without an answer. So my sister had to buy a new one way ticket. When she got to London for her flight home American Airlines had no confirmation of her flight and again needed us to call Militaryfares which was impossible because it was after hours. All in all she had to buy a whole new ticket, 2 one ways and it was a disaster. Militaryfares was no where to be found to help. After reading other complains it sounds like this has happened many times - people showing up to the airport without a reservation they thought they had and no one being able to get in contact with military fares. I will never ever use them again
seating reservations
UPlease please please read the information concerning seat assignments. My friend and I booked a trip to Hawaii sitting next to one another. Imagine our surprise when we received our boarding passes to find out we were not seated together. We were never contacted about this change and was told by American Airlines that it would be an extra fifty dollars plus the cost of the new seats. If you want your seating arrangements to be secured do not go through third person parties such as military fares.
I bought the upgraded insurance which entitles me to full ticket price refund
I bought the upgraded insurance which entitles me to a full ticket refund. I was not given a full refund. I paid almost 2400...396 should be taken off for the non refundable fee. I was entitled to over $1900...and was given $1385. I have contacted military fares multiple times only to be given no responses. I have opened new tickets in order to resolve the issue...they have closed the ticket without any notification or responses. This is criminal.
Making flight plans
I made reservation for a flight on Aug 8. On Aug 18, the company wanted my military information. When I tried to call the company, there was no English speaking individuals to talk to. As a matter of fact, the phone number hung up on me. I tried several times to contact this company, with no success at all. They said that they could not book my flight because they needed my military information. The company had already booked my flight, had my itinerary and all. If I had not checked my email, I would have been stranded at the airport. As far as my account, I have not seen any charges to my card, yet
not bad
Actually I changed my mind about my thought about this site it's not as bad. They had many problems such as not ever answering their phone once after all the times that I called neither did they provide voice mail. I clicked out of the page on accident before writing down the booking number they provide once the ticket is purchased and an email would have been very helpful which they did not do; other than that they got the job done. I called the airline that I know I am suppose to be flying with and my flight was confirmed. I am still feeling a little negative about this site either way, not planning on using it again. It was very stressful and I most certainly did not enjoy doing business with them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
DO NOT USE MILITARYFARES.COM ! my boyfriend (who is in the navy) and I used this site to schedule a flight and we were completely ripped off! He purchased the gold protection cancellation insurance which states is a "no questions asked cancellation protection" however, when he tried to change his flight for an earlier one, he was asked to pay an airline difference fee of more than $300, but when we checked for tickets on a reliable website, the difference was no more than $30. The original ticket purchased on military fares.com was $420.10 and they were asking for $770, which is $350 for flight difference, but the same ticket was going for $450.00 on expedia. Once we realized how shady this was we decided to cancel the purchase to get a full refund . Once we contacted them, they gave us 3 unreasonable options and we proceeded to file a complaint with the BBB. Also, we requested a phone number to speak to a militaryfares representative but their e-mail response completely ignored our request. We tried to log back in to his militaryfares.com account and found out his account had been deleted. We tried to reply to their e-mail and it did not go through. We called the following phone number [protected] and they never answered. We are still in the process of resolving our issue. This company lies by omission and misleads in order to scam military members. Please do not use them! save yourself the headache of having to deal with an unethical company!
No tickets
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE. We are at the airport, as I type this, waiting to receive any sort of confirmation to board our plane. It leaves in four hours. We purchased our tickets 28 hours ago- in plenty enough time for them to take our
money, but not enough time for them to issue a ticket, apparently. We've submitted our "ticket" to resolve this urgent issue and, so far, nothing. I am floored, irate, ready to flip OUT. How can a company possibly even consider this proper business?!
We have no additional money to purchase another round of tickets and no way home. I swear to God, when I get a hold of their personnel...

Fake airline booking
Beware!! This is supposed to be a website with fares for active duty military but it is actually in germany, at least the company behind it is (Http: / / sky - tours.com) . As soon as we paid and received the emailed "receipt" we knew something was wrong. Instead of a confirmation number we received a "booking number". We called delta and they said it...
