Worst customer service ever.
DO NOT purchase from this company. Cassandra is by far the worst salesperson I've done business with. I ordered a lamp shade which arrived damaged. I immediately contacted 'customer service' (what a joke). Told her I had ordered the wrong size and would get back with her with a correct size, which I did the same day. Instead of heeding my request, she went ahead the same day and sent a duplicate lamp shade. "That is not our issue if you ordered the wrong size/did not want what you ordered. We made you whole-which is exactly what we were supposed to do. Correct handling would have been to order the correct size in your initial order and not blame us for attempting to send you what you ordered." How's that for customer service! $53 purchase, 25% restocking fee, $18.16 x 2 for shipping charges to me and because I refused the second pkg. I received a $3.43 refund I disputed it with my credit union and she won. She knows exactly how the game works. The 9 pages of paperwork she had to prepare to fight my dispute was worth the $50 dollars to me.
Recommendation: Don't do business with this rude person.

Received the wrong product and return shipping was refused.
I learned later that the product page had the wrong item pictured. I ordered based on that picture, but then received a different but slightly similar item. When I explained that they shipped the wrong item, they admitted that the wrong product was pictured, but they refused to cover return shipping costs. Very deceptive and unethical business practices. Avoid.
cheryle - don't get me started
Rude. Don't waste your time with these people. Cheryle is a real peach to work with. She will lie to you. When you question her, she'll email you over and over again only to be very rude and unprofessional. They won't be in business long.
Just like all other reviews, their customer service is terrible. Cheryle is the owner. She is rude beyond belief. Don't go here, trust me.

I would like to share the experience I had with Cheryle McFarland regarding two purchases made through Moose-R-Us. I purchased towel bars, tissue boxes, and toilet paper holders for a second home I own in the mountains. When the second half of the order arrived, I didn't open it right away because we wouldn't be going to the home for several weeks. I knew what the box contained because I'd already received the first half, which contained duplicate items. When I did get there and opened the box, I found that the little plastic spring loaded part that holds the toilet paper had been smashed. It was no surprise because all of the wooden items were loosely placed in a box with just a piece of paper between them. I didn't email Moose-R-Us right away because I thought it would be easier to just buy a new one, as they are inexpensive. I looked at several stores and found that the broken one was wider than the ones that were sold in the store. About five weeks had gone by at this point. I then emailed the company and explained why I had waited and was told that I should have let them know within four days and sent a picture. I said that under the circumstances, I thought it would be good customer service for them to mail me the part, which Cheryle said cost about $3.00. She told me that as I'd waited so long, the part obviously was not broken when I received it and that she knew when someone was trying to take advantage of her company. I was floored! She was more or less telling me I was lying! I had spent almost $800. with this company and the owner was not willing to send me a $3.00 part. To make a long story short, emails went back and forth and Cheryle got very insulting and unprofessional. I knew that Cheryle was one of those kind of people that wouldn't stop unless I let her have the final word. I told her that I wasn't going to email her anymore and that I'd let her have the final word. Well, here is her final email word for word, "You just did reply and KEEP replying - nice try though letting your own insecurities rule your little fingers. Now - are you done throwing your little hissy fit? I hope you enjoy your bathroom accessories and think of me every time you use them. snicker."
Cheryle http://Moose-R-Us.com (that's the end) I never replied, but I wanted to share this awful experience in hopes that other people can avoid what I've been through. I wish I'd have looked at the Moose-R-Us reviews on the internet before I'd made my purchases, they are numerous and very negative. My bad for not reading her poor customer service policy. I was satisfied with the items I received, and I would have probably given her a lot more business. But I would not spend one more penny with her company and I wish I had not given her the business I have already given her.

Seller processed my order for too long
Awful company! I bought some items from the company www.moose-r-us.com. I placed the order 6 weeks ago, and the order was in process within all these weeks. Finally, the seller confirmed the purchase and shipping. I received all emails about it. However, the seller sent me defective item and was awful. I tried to return it or change, but the rep started to yell at me, when he heard about my problem. Don’t buy from this dishonest company.
Terrible...Terrible Experience. Do Not Use this Company
I had been searching for an over sized rustic looking switch plate for my living room and found this company on the web and liked the looks of their product, but before I purchased it I needed the dimensions to ensure it would cover some imperfections around the outlet. Their website provides a number to call if there are specific questions about their products and states that this number should only be used for specific product information only. [protected]). I called this number numerous times and each time no live person answered the phone nor did it ever ring...it just went to a voice mail. I chose not to leave a message because I wanted to have a conversation with a "LIVE" person, not a recording. No big deal...right. NOT. Out of the blue I get a phone call from a guy on the other end asking me for my name? I asked him "who is calling", he identified himself and began YELLING at me for calling his number so many times and threatening me by calling my local police department and reporting me for harassing him. I tried to explain to him that my call was based on questions about his product and that I used the number that was provided on the website. He was so irate, that he wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. He kept repeating that I called too many times. NEVER once did I hang up or harass anyone. I simply chose not to leave a message. By the way...Since when does not leaving a message on a customer service business number and also a number that didn't ring and goes straight to a voice mail constitute harassment ! What a Joke. I wonder about a company that publishes a number that doesn't ring and doesn't offer a LIVE person to help you?...and then calls you back ripping your A$$ because you called too many times to buy their product. Makes no sense to me. Oh Yeah...he told me to not call his company again. Ummmm...I don't think he has anything to worry about. I will NEVER NEVER be calling them again. I will take my business elsewhere where answering the phone is NOT an issue. I am 49 years old and have dealt with the public for most of my life and for the life of me do not understand his obnoxious, rude and unprofessional behavior towards a potential customer wanting questions answered. Go figure ? Please don't waste your valuable time and energy with this company! They don't appear to want your business.
Do not do business with them if you can avoid it
My fiance ordered a cake set (2 beach chairs and 2 fence package) for our wedding cake. The style was wonderful but one of the chairs had a knot-hole which made the chair look very poor and would not be acceptable on display on our wedding cake. I politely requested them to send us a new chair that did not have any knot-holes. They wanted me to send the chair back, pay for shipping back to them plus shipping back to me for a new chair. I asked repeatedly if I could speak to Cheryl (she was the one who responded to me initially) on the phone but she never provided an opportunity to do so. I politely requested that they send me a chair in acceptable condition but they refused and eventually told me that my emails would no longer be replied to. I cannot believe the way that they treat people. It is absolutely unacceptable. Do not do business with them if you can avoid it.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
"AWFUL EXPERIENCE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered some products and they got lost in the mail and finally found and redelivered. I contacted this company (which is only by email since there's no telephone #) and Cheryle emailed me back stating she was going to charge me another shipping fee. I called UPS and they said they would waive the redelivery charge but Moose R Us would have to call since it's their account. I contacted Cheryle back and asked her to please do this. I gave her the phone # of the person she needed to speak to. She said she would not do so that she had already charged my credit card and wasn't refunding. I have NEVER had this bad of customer service. I will not purchase from her again and i WILL get the word out. "

From the information gathered from many people, they make most of their money from shipping fees and cancellation fees. Too many complaints to not be taken seriously. Hopefully, one day they will be shut down.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Moose-R-Us
I had a very unpleasant experience with Moose-R-Us in which I ordered some decorative lighted willow twigs. The transformer for one went out after it was plugged in once. I emailed Moose-R-Us and they basically told me it wasn't their problem and than I needed to contact the manufacturer. The wholesaler that sold to Moose-R-Us, Darice, is going to make good on this by sending me an entire new light set; something that Moose-R-Us should have probably offered to do right out of the gate, rather than infer that I was the one who broke the light. I have never experienced a retailer so rude. Not the way to do business at ALL! Darice referred me to one of the other companies they supply so if I ever go looking for cool stuff, that's where I'll go. I will certainly never go to Moose-R-Us again, and I'd highly recommend that anyone else avoid them like the plague if they can. They are very unpleasant have a real "I've got mine, to heck with you" attitude. I was communicating with a woman named Cheryle. If she's not the owner, the owner should fire her, because she's a real piece of work.
Interesting story, however it is untrue. This "complainant" told us the light set worked when it arrived, but after she adjusted the branches and bent the garland-she admitted in the email that she had broken it. She wanted us to tell her how to fix it, we admitted we did not know as we did not make the garland and that perhaps she could find out how to fix it by contacting the manufacturer. She obviously did not tell the manufacturer that she broke it, only that it was "faulty" and they offered to send her a whole new garland.
Thankfully this type of customer will go elsewhere as we refuse to deal with customers that resort to lies and 1/2 truths to get free items at the companies expense.
