I im lodging a complaint. I have my Mr Price account for years now. Never done a late payment. And when i pay i always pay more than i have to pay. Last month i did a late payment for the firts time. Reason why is because i was admitted in hospital. When i was better i did go in to the store to do payment. On the 27th of june someone from Mr Price phone me i explained the reason why i payed my account late. After the conversation i got an sms

I purchase from Mr Price Home nearly every month. This furniture range never has discounts or comes on special and when i asked to buy the Newport desk on the floor at a discounted price I was told no I must phone in every Monday as that is when the specials come through. I have been phoning for months but this range is never ever on special. The prices are not exactly cheap, why is your Newport range never discounted?

I would like to lodge a complaint about bad service in the new application department. I am trying to open an account and have received an email from Varsha Lutchman on 24/06/2019 saying I must send through a paid up letter from CMS in order to proceed with the application. I replied on the same day asking who is CMS and why do I need to send such a letter through. On 25/06/2019 I emailed her again asking to please advise, yet no reply from her. I later asked (the same day) if she could refer my application to someone else, and still no reply or someone else helping me.

I must say I was quite disappointed visiting you Whale Coast Mall store in Hermanus today. As I was entering the store I went to the security to have the bags sealed that I couldn't seal myself. After asking the lady guard to seal only the ones that have not been closed, she insisted on putting the red tape all of the bags. This is such a waste as I close the bags I can, to be able to use them again later. I find that once you seal it with the tape, it is a wasted bag that I have to throw away later on, as it is difficult to remove the red tape without tearing the plastic bag. This however was not the end of the story, as on my way out of the store she insisted on inspecting my trolley again. I really feel targeted by her and her explanation of only doing her job did not sit well with me as I have on previous occasions visited your store and never have I been treated like this. I actually felt being harassed by your lady security guard today. Not a good experience at all and I will think twice before I go into your store again. This was between 12 and 1pm today. There was another lady with the security guard at the door and they were having their own conversation. As I do understand they have a job to do, this really felt like victimization. Very unnecessary.
reversal of money that was debited

We place an order online on Saturday, it gave us an error saying the transaction didnt go through and we then did it again but it gave me the same error.. I then refreshed and and tried for about 3 times (This was done on my wife's profile which she used when she had an account with you) My husband then created himself an online profile and did the same process and eventually it went through and it created a delivery number for us .. . Later that evening he received messages saying an amount of R624.98 came off 5 times. We went to your store in Mitchells plain promenade on Saturday to query this and he was told that someone will phone me with feedback and up till today we havent received any call. he called this morning and was told the person who assisted me was in a meeting and i need to call back in a hours' time.. how is this right that it was a error made on your side and i have to phone so many times . This is a large amount that was taken from my account and i have debit orders thats supposed to come off so how long will this take for it to be sorted . I am very disgusted with the level of service i have received from your Mr Price .. Your online systems is extremely bad . I need this matter to be sorted out ASAP and would like to be contacted by someone with feedback ..
My Husband was told the money wil be paid in by Wednesday but up till today nothing was done.. he phone this morning and was told to go the bank to ask them to release the money. how is this possible that my husband should be running around for money the Mr Price debited and the saddest of all no one has come back to him with feedback... In all honesty this service is so bad..
We celebrated Eid on Wednesday and had to eat by inlaws cause we couldnt afford to buy food.

dirty item on the shelf
I went to Mr Price to get myself a hoodie on the 29 0f May the time was 13:55:49, and i was assisted by Anathi Sijora and the store manager is Tania Scharneck...i got it but it was the last one on the shelf(my size that means SS)i asked if they have another one at the back because that one was dirty and the cashier said its the last one, i said want but its dirty and i really need even if they can mark it down for me i will buy it wheres its dirty.she told me that theres nothing they can do its either im taking it or leaving it, because is us customers that dirten the item they wont be able to marked it down for me and they call the store manager and the store manager told me the same thing and she even said if i can take photo the stain wont appear on the photo, and she took out her cellphone and took a photo. At there back of my mind was asking my self was is she trying to imply?.i ended up buying it cause was in need of it .i fail understand that why Mr price is selling dirty items to customers because it was folded neatly on the shelf and the person whose responsible for that section should have noticed it and done something about not be on shelf for selling...that means they dont value their customers but to sell them dirty staff..even if customer is insisting for marked they got guts to tell me its take it or leave Woooow, that came to me as huge shock but not valueing for their customers but making money...customer satisfaction they dont care...On top of that i felt so disrespected when my colleagues went there for shopping few minutes later, Staff members where talking about me to my colleagues and they were not aware off there incident and they asked what happend while i was at Mr Price...as a person who work in the same environment that means retail i fail to understand everything...Maybe its how Mr price operates or Mr P policies. Your store manager JAFIL was not only rude but sarcastic as well.
According to her the store policy to exchange if you buy online with your card you must have your card with you. No where in MR PRICE RETURN policy does it state that. I had the original receipt and i did not want to purchase anything just return an item. She then advised me that she is doing me a favour and is feeling generous today.
Who the hell does your store manager think she is? I am a client thay should be treated with respect and she is definitely not doing me any favours by returning any item when i clearly folloelwed the return policy n YOUR website.

I walked into MrP Sport Argyle road, Durban to purchase a few items. When I got to the till I was told there was no credit despite me making a payment of R900 on 23/05/2019 via EFT which I emailed through to popmrp@mrpg.com.So I decided to make a further payment of R900 at the store and still no credit available. We then called the head office who say I must wait for 2mins. After 2mins still nothing was done so we cancelled the sale and was advised to call head office which I did when I got home. Head office then tells me the payment made on the 23/05/2019 is not reflecting therefore the proof was sent but still I get told to wait until it clears and their allocations department is not open on Saturdays I must query Monday. I then had requested for the R900 paid today to be reversed as I have made over and above my payment and that to cannot be done. The consultant tells me to go into the store the store tells me to call head office
I am now requesting for that R900 that was paid today 25/05/2019 at the Arglye store to be reversed back into my account sincing no one is willing to assist me in anyway.

I ordered (order number [protected]) two Columbia couches in CHOCOLATE from your app.
I was delivered TAN color. When I inquired about this I was told that MRP doesn't manufacture this product in chocolate any longer and hence I was provided with tan.
Why in this life would I want tan when I ordered chocolate. Why is the consumer not informed when a certain color isn't available. Why does MRP Home think this is acceptable to take the initiative to send the client any colour available even though the site enabled me to order this item in chocoltae. Now I have two couches, three seater and two seater that doesn't match my interior because someone thought it good to send it in TAN!
We spent R12 000.00 plus courier to receive something that looks terrible. Now we as consumers are liable to get it back to your head office.
I have attached three photos, two of the horrible tan colour vs. the chocolate in store.
I'd appreciate head office to get back to me asap on this level of service.

mr price not allocating payment made via eft
Hi,
I made a payment of R360 via eft on my Mr Price Account on 2 May 2019. To this day, they have not allocated it. I called them on 10 May, they said I must send Proof of Payment which I did. Monday night I got a call, saying my account is in arrears! I have put up the concern on Twitter as well, tagging them. I don't know what else to do. I called the call centre, the guy said they are having issues with eft payments. But why call me and say account is in arrears?

Unacceptable poor service on an online order. I placed an order on the 26 March and 28th I received an email confirming that my order is being shipped to N1 City Store. From the beginning of April to now I've been following up with the store and online with no success, the online agents have no customer service skills nor do they know what they are doing.
Now I received an email that my order has been cancelled, i called the online agent and i was that i would be refunded with no explanation.

On saturday, 27th of april 2019, my bag with all of its contents was stolen from my baby's pram in mr price galleria, amanzimtoti. As soon as I noticed it was missing, I immediately told the security at mr price. With no care at all, she told me to tell the manager. Mr musa ngubelanga, the risk manager at mr price said he will have a look at the cameras himself as I wasn't allowed to. After about an hour he said that he could not see anything as the camera was not clear. He said that the cameras were installed for shoplifting. So is the safety of your customers inside your store not important?
I have researched the robberies at mrp in galleria, to my surprise there are so many similar incidents. One of them on the news 24 website with very clear video footage. How is it that nothing is being done by the area manager?
I hope that mrp will take the matter very seriously as most of us don't feel safe in your store anymore.

I was at Mr Price Wynberg earlier today. I stood in a line for at 10 minutes waiting for the cashier to finish up with the transaction. It seems she needed the manager who just left. There were alot of people in the quere and Im sure everyone left after me.
All I wanted to do is to pay my account. Now I havent paid my account. I have to go through my bank, which means its going to be late. I bank with ABSA.

I have had 3 fraudulent online purchases go through on my account. I have notified the contact centre regarding this and was told that they are aware of the issue and would contact me back. After 24 hours I heard nothing from Mr Price and therefore sent an email to follow up.
I have also previously asked them to cancel my account and never got any feedback. I have contacted customer service and also was told to email their fraud team directly regarding fraudulent activity. I have sent all required information as well as ID documents.
I am currently living in Portugal and can only be contacted via email

I am utterly disappointed and disgusted with Mr Price Galleria Mall, my bag was stolen while I was shopping, when I asked for help the risk manager went in for about half hour looking for camera footage and came back with some pathetic excuse that the cameras are blurry.The security guard was an unprofessional women who did nothing.Sorry to say Mr Price but I will be closing my account with yourl your service is pathetic, when I asked to block my account the so called manager said the store is closed come back tomorrow. For some reason i did not get my monthly statements. I then paid the amount via eft which i do every month. What annoys me is that I have been a client with Mr Price for almost 18 years. Never in that period did i skip a payment. At months i even paid more than what my instalments was then in the last 2 months i paid my account but was liitle less than the installment. Then all of a sudden i get all these phonecalls from Mr price asking me to pay in the amount. They carried on as if i have not paid my account for months. I have always been responsible paying my accounts and have been a loyel customer all these years. Why does your acc people do this to clients. I can understand if i have missed payments but i was just a little behind with my installment which i will correct in the month coming. But to be harassed daily is embarrasing to say the least. Harras those who do not bother to pay their accounts. I have decided now that i will pay my account off and close this account. I dont appreciate these phonecalls dictating to me that i must immediately pay my remaining shortfall.

This afternoon I went shopping at Mr Price in Cavendish Claremont Cape Town.
The sales associate a tall, dark skinned and big lady with her natural hair relaxed in the RT side was very rude and she gave me attitude when I asked her to assist me when looking for something.
While I was browsing through some skirts in a round rail, she came straight up to me holding a bunch of clothes to replenish. As she passed me I gave her way to pass but she came straight up to me and pushed me away with the clothes and the clothes hit in my face. I didn't say anything I just looked at her and she didn't even apologize, instead she gave me an ugly look as if I did something wrong.
She acted as if she had a problem with me and the most shocking thing is I don't know her and I didn't do anything wrong.
She was not wearing a name tag so I couldn't get her name.
I've never had a bad experience at Mr Price and this was so shocking when it happened.
I'm actually scared of going into that store or at any Mr Price ever again and I doubt I'll shop at Mr Price.

I would like to know how do you deduct money off a persons mr price account for lost or stolen card, system interest that is r105 and more. This is suppose to get added on to what you pay on a monthly base so basically the credit available is not thw credit available because I only used r330 and I paid r750 how is that fair to any customer.
I feel like I am being taken for a run and stolen from. Why do I have to pay r750 but can only use r330 and then u guys take the rest of it again. You are already getting a payment why take more. No wonder no one wants to open accounts anywhere anymore. Because of things like this.
I am one very very unhappy customer and will not buy from you again. I will pay my account but not buy😡
