Secondly, I want to make sure that you understand that I am cancelling this contract. I have done so telephonically many times in the past, but with no success. I cannot understand how each and every phone call is recorded for “training and security purposes”, but to this day I keep getting an account. Having said that, I also wonder what kind of “training” the call centre operators undergo, as most of them don’t seem to have the slightest idea of how to work with the public, let alone take a simple instruction as to cancel a contract. So cancel this contract WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!
I will never in my life recommend your service to anyone, as I have had nothing but the greatest difficulty in cancelling a contract.

The whole of July and almost the whole of August went by, and still no written reply from you. Even after my written request for you to cancel my contract, the amount still went off my bank. I went as far as to stop that debit order, otherwise I would probably still be paying for this!
This is unacceptable to say the least. I keep getting phone calls which I am UNABLE TO ANSWER, AS I AM AT WORK, but still these people try to phone me on a daily basis.
Please, if you need to correspond with me, do it via this email address and NOT by cell phone. Please stop harassing me!
I know my rights according to the POPI act, and I forbid you to phone me or hand out my details to anyone to contact me again.

Fraudulent account
Account was fraudulently opened on my name. I have never opened an account. I only realised that when I check my Networth on my FNB account that there is Mr Price account that is in arrears. I tried to dispute through consumer experian but is not yet fixed. I received message today from VVM debt collectors that I owe R232.50 which must be paid before 30 September 2022 to avoid credit record.
I have been unemployed for the past 2 years and I don't even qualify to open account, I have never opened an account with Mr Price and I don't have any other clothing account. Please assist in clearing this fraudulent account.
Desired outcome: I would like this account to be closed and clear my name on this matter.

I purchased a few Jeans from the MR Price store in Cresta while the jeans were on special 2 for 250.
What a great buy though... getting 4 jeans for R500.
Unfortunately I write/type out this complaint due to the fact that I had purchased a black skinny jeans pretty and all. wore it atleast 3 times with out washing because I'm always scared to wash my black things to often due to the colour fading.
After wearing my Black Jeans 3 times and then only washing it as per instructions on jeans. I'm sad to say that after the very first wash my jeans in no longer black but Grey/stone wash black if that is even colour.
I bought a black jeans from Edgar's last year some time normal Kelso brand nothing pricey and I was pleased to say that the jeans is only now starting to fade ABIT.

Bad service at mrp clothing
Bought clothes online beginning of July, on the 13 of July 2022, they delivered a wrong order and they told me they re-deliver my order. I waited until 31 August 2022 and called customer care service. They cancelled my order and told me they will refund me within 24-48hours. I called them again after 7 days and told me there was an error on my refund. They told me to wait for another 24-48hours. And it have been 4 days now and still nothing. I feel like MR price is a scam. I want my money back.
Desired outcome: I want my money back and I don't want anything to do with Mr price anymore.

It's been 3 weeks since I ordered online and my order has not been received and there is no form of communication from Mr price team iam personally dussapointed I have never in my life has to wait 3WEEKS for an order to arrive and they lied on their website coz they Saud the due date its 3days after but guess what I have been waiting for 3 weeks and m still waiting from Monday it's gonna be week 4 waiting for an order to arrive I lost hope but nonetheless I I courage Consumer's to stop ? m buying online coz wow I ha e been waiting m still waiting and it's their ignorance for me like they did me dirty and I didn't receive any form of communication mxm

Fraudulent account
An account was opened on the 16th July 2022 in my name. Found out today through a call from collections that I owe 1k. I was told to get an affidavit and send it through to launch investigations. I confirmed this through TransUnion. It has already left a footprint on my profile and its frustrating that a company can open an account and issue 8k credit without verifying the tru identity of the person opening the account.
Desired outcome: I need the investgated and the account closed.

Hi, I've been waiting for my order for more than a, week now, I've received an email saying that my order is canceled or some of my items will be missing,, two of my orders are giving me problems, worst part is that they are not even communicating with me,, my first order I received only one item, two pairs of shoes were missing, they refunded me only For a pair not two pairs,, the second one also I didn't even receive anything, so I don't know how to go about it. Payments made into wrong Mr Price account
I paid my account in June and July 2022 using EFT and both payments went to Mr Price Short Term Claims - Fulcrum Collections instead of MR price money acc no: [protected]. Payments proof of R300 and R500 were emailed to [protected]@guardrisk.co.za; [protected]@mr price.com; [protected]@mrpriceg.com and [protected]@mailer.mrpricemoney.com and no response to date. Email was sent on the 15 Aug 2022.
Please advice on what i should do as my account is currently in arrears and this is ruining my credit score.

The return of my phone taking too long to return
I bought hisense e31 on the 4th of March 2022 and returned in to the store for repairs on the 7th July 2022, they said it will take 4 weeks went there on the 7 of August they said it hasn't come and then went back again on the 31st August still nothing called MTN to check how far they are with fixing they said they can't fix it and the store was supposed to give me new phone
Desired outcome: I would like to get my phone back or the new phone

Incorrect order and unprofessional staff
I had gone to buy a footstool ar the Mrprice home im Parkview on Saturday 13 August 2022. After picking out the stool, and having the staff member check if the stool was the same as the one on display, that I had picked out, the wrong footstool was rang up. I had asked for it to be delivered and only when I had already left, the staff member called to say he had rung up the incorrect chair. There was a price difference in the two chairs. I then had to return the following day and again arrange for my own trasport for the chair. In terms of time, this was a major inconvenience and the staff was joking around about my reason for "exchanging" the chair without apparent remorse for me having to return
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and they should have at the very least cared about the inconvenience they caused
Cellphone contract
Some time in July 2021, I called MRP mobile to cancel my contract, tell told me it's ending in October/ November 2021.So I let it be In Jan 2022, I see some money deducted from my account saying it's them, I sent them email asking how come they told I must give them 1 month notice, but In July they never said I must call I assumed it will be cancelled as I showed them I have no intentions to keep it.So February/ March 2022 they deducted they say I owe them and I Also sent email asked them to cancelled again, it came to my surprise to me to see deduction in June 2022, I reversed it July received sms saying I am owing, I called customer care their Consultant told me they called me in October/ Nov 2021, and I extended the contract for 12 months, that is a lie I never received a call from them, even the member consultant said they loading airtime and data I don't know is not mine. Some one the company is doing fraud with my details.
Desired outcome: They cancelled my contract as I requested them in January 2022,
Bed and Matress from the Eastgate branch order [protected]
Amount R4200 - 00 paid cash. The bed and matress cannot be delivered. The superviser that processe the slip assured me it was correct. I told her that I am a lecturer and cannot return and she must make sure that the till slip is correct.
Her name is Thenjiwe from Eastgate Branch. I was very insistent that she makes sure and she still made a joke telling me that she is so good at her job. It turns out that she was wrong. I am told to go back to the store and pay R400 for delivery that she did not include. I am not able to just drive back as I cannot just leave my students and drive back when it suits Mr. Price. Is this not just so typical of the arrogance you get in South Africa? I am going to post this on my social media as I have 18000 followers if management in the head office branch does not sort this out. The manager of the branch Bono just put the phone down in my ear. Nothing sorted and no apology or plan made. The rude people in South Africa that expect the public to be happy. Same story different store with the rubbish we have to live with. Demands of untrained, rude staff.

I made a payment arrangement to pay R460 a month on the 7th of each month which I kept to.
My payment of 6 July was not allocated to my account and it was therefor handed over.
I was told that if I keep to the arrangement, which I did, it will not be handed over. I have proof that I sent my proof of payment to payment assist who passed it in to [protected]@...
I want the handed over account to be withdrawn and my account with Mr Price be restored since I kept to the arrangement.
Desired outcome: Withdraw my account from the collectors.
Good luck on that one. My arrangement was to pay the first of every month. Come the 23rd they handed me over for nonpayment. Now i have a bad credit record because of them. And no one seems interested in assisting you.

Poly Shaggy Rug 180cmx120cm
I bought this rug three weeks ago at Canal Walk MRP Home.
This rug is shedding terribly and after three week looks terrible. I don't know what to do but cannot see R900 goes to waste like this.
Please assist asap. I think this should come with a warning that it sheds and looks bad after not even a month.
I work and is hardly home and my partner visits every other weekend.
This is ridiculous.

Order status no assistance from customer service assistant
My online order status has been indicating "SHIPPED" for the last 12 days and the delivery is 7 days late. I've logged three disputes with customer care line via WhatsApp (line number [protected]). The first assistant Bongeka said I will receive feedback via email from the courier company regarding the delay (City Logistics on 13/6/2022). It's been two days and no assistance from the courier company City Logistics. The day after I contacted the same line and Yvonne assisted me. She said that I will receive my order tomorrow (15/6/2022), but I still want to confirm if that will be happening so I wanted to find out if my order is really coming. Today 15/6/2022 I contacted the same line for the third day for confirmation. This time Lungile assisted me. She/he is not helpful at all and has a lazy approach to the issue. I still don't know where my order is and if it's really coming. Thanks to Bongeka and Yvonne for trying to assist me (I hope they actually tried). Mr Price Sim Card
April an agent from Mr price called saying that I qualify for Mr price account, so we opened the account online later that day I we6to Newtown to fetch the card and they gave me the card and Mr price sim card. Another agent called me to activate the sim card and I said I don't want it. Now my balance doesn't decrease when I check instore Mr price has been deducting 120 per month for a sim card that I do not use and haven't opened even. Mr price is so unprofessional and their rude agents. I'm even thinking of closing the account because there are amounts that are being debited from my account that I don't know please cancel the sim card thing because I didn't agree to it.
