Incorrect order and unprofessional staff
I had gone to buy a footstool ar the Mrprice home im Parkview on Saturday 13 August 2022. After picking out the stool, and having the staff member check if the stool was the same as the one on display, that I had picked out, the wrong footstool was rang up. I had asked for it to be delivered and only when I had already left, the staff member called to say he had rung up the incorrect chair. There was a price difference in the two chairs. I then had to return the following day and again arrange for my own trasport for the chair. In terms of time, this was a major inconvenience and the staff was joking around about my reason for "exchanging" the chair without apparent remorse for me having to return
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and they should have at the very least cared about the inconvenience they caused
Cellphone contract
Some time in July 2021, I called MRP mobile to cancel my contract, tell told me it's ending in October/ November 2021.So I let it be In Jan 2022, I see some money deducted from my account saying it's them, I sent them email asking how come they told I must give them 1 month notice, but In July they never said I must call I assumed it will be cancelled as I showed them I have no intentions to keep it.So February/ March 2022 they deducted they say I owe them and I Also sent email asked them to cancelled again, it came to my surprise to me to see deduction in June 2022, I reversed it July received sms saying I am owing, I called customer care their Consultant told me they called me in October/ Nov 2021, and I extended the contract for 12 months, that is a lie I never received a call from them, even the member consultant said they loading airtime and data I don't know is not mine. Some one the company is doing fraud with my details.
Desired outcome: They cancelled my contract as I requested them in January 2022,
Bed and Matress from the Eastgate branch order [protected]
Amount R4200 - 00 paid cash. The bed and matress cannot be delivered. The superviser that processe the slip assured me it was correct. I told her that I am a lecturer and cannot return and she must make sure that the till slip is correct.
Her name is Thenjiwe from Eastgate Branch. I was very insistent that she makes sure and she still made a joke telling me that she is so good at her job. It turns out that she was wrong. I am told to go back to the store and pay R400 for delivery that she did not include. I am not able to just drive back as I cannot just leave my students and drive back when it suits Mr. Price. Is this not just so typical of the arrogance you get in South Africa? I am going to post this on my social media as I have 18000 followers if management in the head office branch does not sort this out. The manager of the branch Bono just put the phone down in my ear. Nothing sorted and no apology or plan made. The rude people in South Africa that expect the public to be happy. Same story different store with the rubbish we have to live with. Demands of untrained, rude staff.

I made a payment arrangement to pay R460 a month on the 7th of each month which I kept to.
My payment of 6 July was not allocated to my account and it was therefor handed over.
I was told that if I keep to the arrangement, which I did, it will not be handed over. I have proof that I sent my proof of payment to payment assist who passed it in to [protected]@...
I want the handed over account to be withdrawn and my account with Mr Price be restored since I kept to the arrangement.

Good luck on that one. My arrangement was to pay the first of every month. Come the 23rd they handed me over for nonpayment. Now i have a bad credit record because of them. And no one seems interested in assisting you.

Poly Shaggy Rug 180cmx120cm
I bought this rug three weeks ago at Canal Walk MRP Home.
This rug is shedding terribly and after three week looks terrible. I don't know what to do but cannot see R900 goes to waste like this.
Please assist asap. I think this should come with a warning that it sheds and looks bad after not even a month.
I work and is hardly home and my partner visits every other weekend.
This is ridiculous.

Order status no assistance from customer service assistant
My online order status has been indicating "SHIPPED" for the last 12 days and the delivery is 7 days late. I've logged three disputes with customer care line via WhatsApp (line number [protected]). The first assistant Bongeka said I will receive feedback via email from the courier company regarding the delay (City Logistics on 13/6/2022). It's been two days and no assistance from the courier company City Logistics. The day after I contacted the same line and Yvonne assisted me. She said that I will receive my order tomorrow (15/6/2022), but I still want to confirm if that will be happening so I wanted to find out if my order is really coming. Today 15/6/2022 I contacted the same line for the third day for confirmation. This time Lungile assisted me. She/he is not helpful at all and has a lazy approach to the issue. I still don't know where my order is and if it's really coming. Thanks to Bongeka and Yvonne for trying to assist me (I hope they actually tried). Mr Price Sim Card
April an agent from Mr price called saying that I qualify for Mr price account, so we opened the account online later that day I we6to Newtown to fetch the card and they gave me the card and Mr price sim card. Another agent called me to activate the sim card and I said I don't want it. Now my balance doesn't decrease when I check instore Mr price has been deducting 120 per month for a sim card that I do not use and haven't opened even. Mr price is so unprofessional and their rude agents. I'm even thinking of closing the account because there are amounts that are being debited from my account that I don't know please cancel the sim card thing because I didn't agree to it.

Good day. I was at your south gate branch this morning 26/05/2022 I'm not 100% sure of the time I walked into the store but my purchase time on my receipt is 11:36:47. I was assisted by a lady called Lungile who first told me that that she didn't has the key for the safe where the tablets are kept and the person who has the keys is off, only once I explained that I was from trade route mall where I was told they only had a display tablet and that they don't know when they will have stock but I should rather go to south gate because the had six tablets available and that i was not gonna be driving back and fourth than she said she will go check at the back if they has. The problem started after she came back with the phone and took me to the till to make payment, she and another lady by the name of Vidah who was by the tills assisted me. I explained that I has two vouchers I would like to use as part of payment. She explained that I am unable to use the vouchers for a phone purchase which I fully understood. I was than told that i would use the vouchers to make a payment on my account and I opted for that, they punched in both vouchers but the system said I was unable to redeem them with that option, They suggested that I rather buy items in the shop and I agreed to that. I than went and choose a few items than went back to the till to pay for the items now the vouchers says they have already been used. Vidah called a lady by the name of Lebohang who I assume is the manager however I'm not sure about that. Lebohang took my Id and the reference of the voucher and called to call the head office, My issue is that Lebohang was not professional at all, she was playful and moving for here to there and didn't even try to give me a solution, I was in the store for more than an hour and a half bear in mind I am heavily pregnant and I wasn't even offered a seat. I left the store at around 12:30 with no resolution what so ever and I never used the vouchers. The voucher code is [protected] please investigate when and where the voucher was used because I am sure that if it was really used it will sure todays date ,southgate branch and the time of my purchase because those ladies punched it into the system more than twice

I visited one of the Mr Price branch in Dobsonville Mall on the 21 April 2022 at about 16H30. Our attention was to buy a new clothes for both of our kids. Then after getting what we were looking for myself and wife we went to the till point. The cashier who was assist my wife packed the stuff inside the Mr price plastic bag a short while she called the man who also accused my wife that the card doesn't belong to her they asked her to call her ID number she does that but still they were hesitant about her signature.
After she completed packing all the stuff (Sennya she the cashier called a man they all became arrogant towards my wife saying that the signature on the account card doesn't not match with the one on the slip they were together with another man when that incident occurred and the same time shouted at her I wonder is it the way how the customer's should be treated in Mr price I believe that when entered into your mr price branch we must be treated with respect.
There is a possibility that this behavior is not happening only to one customer maybe others customers they don't lay their complaints.

We purchased a kettle from Mr price home cavendish square about a year ago and barely used it. most times it's unplugged and rolled up properly this morning it suddenly isn't going on anymore not the light and doing absolutely nothing!

I purchased a pair of Pyjamas on the 16th May 2022 at Mr Price Norkem Mall. Today the 17th I realized how bad the quality of the material really is. There are holes or maybe I should say missed stitches on this product. I am really not happy.

I visited the Centurion mall, Pretoria Mr Price clothing on the 26 April 2022. I purchased a pair of espadrille wedges, that were on sale but did not have a price tag. When I got to the counter, the cashier tried to source the price on their system. Its not the first time I purchased something, without a price tag and they would normally get the same item or similar to source the price (so I'm not sure, why I got the run around). I stood at the counter for an hour as about four different people took the shoes to the back( not sure why, as no one came with a price tag) they were a few staff members behind the counter conversating in their language and laughing, but showing no urgency to my matter. One lady by the name of ? tried to source info on her cellphone and another lady on the tablet ( looking at the same product over and over) when I asked is she going to help me she just continued in her language talking to her colleuges and laughed again. She spoke to her supervisor standing behind her and he shrugged his shoulders (like he doesn't know what to do) and didn't assist at all. When I told her I was waiting long enough and was going to contact the head office to complain they were suddenly willing to call their manager and had out of nowhere sourced a price for the sandals. I couldn't believe I was treated so bad after being a regular customer and treating me this way infront of other customers. And in a customer orientated environment.

I went to Mr price in Thabong wanted to buy my son winter clothes, and in the clothes department a lady whom was working there as her department.. Did not even bother to assist me in anyway, when I asked for different sizes she did not even bother to check fr any sizes, she even had an attitude about it.. So I decided to go an do my shopping elsewhere.. The attitude stinks..

My credit limit is incorrect on my mr price statement
I opened a mr pr account online and was sent an sms saying it has been approved and my credit limit is R6000.
I picked up my card and shopped on the account. At the end of the month I could not find my card, my husband had misplaced it but I still was able to pay my account in store. I paid R500 on my card. Trying to get a new card was very stressful as I was first told it can only be done during the week. I went after work on a friday and was told a different story. That your offices are open on a saturday so i wasted my time going to mr price as the time i arrived at the store your offices were closed. I visited the store the next day. Waited half an hour to get through to someone on your customer care. The lady laughed at me when i asked her to make me a priority and to please not transfer me to a different department when i asked her to make sure my credit limit was R6000. Eventually she checked and assured me it was. I checked my clearscore report this month and saw my credit limit was R1 on my mr price account and then I checked my mr p statement and it showed it is R1. I am extremely upset and stressed out, my credit score was affected because it says I have exceeded my limit. I obviously shopped on my account. Even if I spent R2, I would have still exceeded my limit. I do not want to go through calling the customer line and waiting more than half an hour to get through to someone. I am requesting a call back from your accounts department to explain to me why they have made my credit limit R1 and I want compensation for my credit score that has gone down by 11 points. It is unacceptable. It's really stressing me out.
