I have been using Murad products for the past 3 years and have spent a considerable amount of money on them. I was hoping that they would help me get rid of my blackheads, pores, and zits. However, I have been disappointed with the results. I purchased two products that claimed to clean blackheads, but they did not work at all. My blackheads still have gunk in them, and I am frustrated with the lack of results.
To make matters worse, I tried the ivitamin c product, and it gave me a chemical burn. I was shocked and disappointed that a product from a reputable brand like Murad could cause such damage to my skin. The burn was so bad that it darkened my skin, and it will take months for it to go away. I was hoping that Murad would take responsibility for their product and offer a solution, but when I sent them pictures of my skin, they told me that the redness and brown spots were normal and that I should keep using the product.
I was so frustrated that I had to see a dermatologist to get my skin back to normal. I wish there was a way to hold companies like Murad accountable for selling products that do not work and can cause harm to their customers. I have wasted so much money on these products, and I am tired of being lied to by companies that only care about making a profit.

Terrible Customer Service Experience with Murad - Do Not Recommend!
I had a really bad experience with Murad's customer service. A few months back, I called to cancel any kits and auto deliveries because I lost my job. But the online system kept showing product for auto delivery even though I cancelled it online. I spoke to a woman and she assured me that all auto deliveries and kits were cancelled. But on 9/7, I was charged $127 and $67 dollars. I was really upset and tried to talk to a manager, but the company kept refusing to let me talk to one. Finally, when I did talk to a manager, they said my only option was to get a rma number and bring it back to the UPS store and pay for shipping. I can't even buy my kids food, let alone pay for shipping on something. They told me there was nothing more they could do. I will never buy product from Murad again in the future and I don't recommend Murad to anyone! Save your money and find a company willing to give you a good customer experience.

I've been using Murad for a long time now, like over 15 years. I always used to buy it from Ulta or Sephora, but I decided to try ordering from their website to get it delivered straight to my door. I thought it would be the best way to go, but boy was I wrong!
The problem with the 90 day subscription is that they send the product and bill after, which can create a big mess. I thought it would be no problem having my account on auto-draft until my card was compromised in February. I called Murad to give them my new card number and asked them to charge me for February and March, and they said they would. I didn't check my bank statement because I'm always super busy with work.
Then in April, I called Murad to cancel the 90 day thing because I wanted to switch my regimen and get full sized products. I asked the lady over the phone if I was done paying and she said yes! But then in June, I got a collections notice in the mail. I was so shocked because I have great credit and I always try to be on-time with everything!
To sum it up, this whole experience has discouraged me from ever using Murad again. The fact that the experience has been less than satisfactory and no one at Murad would own up to the fault in their communication is really disappointing. I am very disappointed in this brand and how they have handled the situation.

To make matters worse, the products themselves don't even work as they claim. I tried their Firming Peptide Body Treatment and Body Firming Cream for 60 days and saw no improvement in my skin at all. And the 30 day kits they offer are so small that they don't even last a week.
Overall, I would not recommend Murad to anyone. Their products are a waste of money and their customer service is terrible. Instead, I would recommend trying out Gold Bond Ultimate products, which are just as good as Murad but without the hassle or expense. Hi I recently purchased the murads blemish control kit I used it and now my whole face is covered in what looks like acne, bumps all over my face. My face is super dry, tight and burning. For 2 days I have been trying to place an order online with Murad. The website gets stuck saying loading, but will not proceed forward for me to place my order. I have been using these products for several years now. Called customer service today, tried placing my order as listed in my cart & was 1st told supervisor approval was needed. Secondly, I'm told I don't qualify for a free gift, even though my cart says otherwise. So I ask the rep, can you talk to your supervisor again, and he denies my request and tells me no. So I told him, I know this is not your fault, but he still offered no additional solution, just said he can't place my order. I get it, I was only trying to spend $115 dollars & apparently a compromise, with me as a buyer, is not worth the extra step or his time. What is $115 not spent, nothing to this company. This company sent me their promo order in November 2018 and charged by card $56.44.
I have not received anymore product since and glad because I do not like it.
The next month They charged my card again but I did not catch it until January when they did it again.
After calling and being put on hold and then promised that no more charges would be taken because I am cancelling my order. They have charged my card February and March 2019. ..Even after a second call in February 2019.
I called April 19 and got a recording thanking their Canadian customers but saying they had to close the office down in Canada...that's it! no other way to get a hold of them!
I am now searching the internet for a US contact so if someone can help, I would really appreciate it.

Also, as a new member i have got a promotional Welcome code which contains a cream, so no money offer this time.
But unfortunately on the website you cannot use 2 codes with the same order, therefore i have contacted a member of staff from Murad, but that was not very helpful.
She only reply to me to confirm that i cannot use 2 codes with the same order and i can use one with another purchase.
I have explained that i am not planning to place an order any time soon especially that the products are not that cheap so people can afford to place orders every day and that i want to use my welcome code as well. Is my right, and is only a cream i mean I understand the policy that you cannot use 2 codes but is not a money offer, is a welcome gift that should be mine with the order plus de offer they have online.
I think this is denying my right to have what they are promotiong, at the end of the day this is what they have offered and now they are saying is not possible.

charged again one week after I bought the starter kit
I had purchased the starter kit one week prior and and checked my bank account and noticed I was charged again for another shipment, when it clearly stated on my receipt that the auto pay wouldn't start for 35 days. Also, I have tried every phone number I could find to contact them. Either no answer or it just hangs up. Very very very poor customer service. I rate this 0 stars!

Wet smashed box cream all over the place
Hello,
I received my kit yesterday--The box was smashed on one corner--oh I knew that could mean problems. When I opened the inner box one of the tubes expelled its contents all over everything else. I would like you to send me a replacement box please. This is terrible. Looks like the seam on the bottom of the tube broke--this is no longer useable.

They claim they provide lots of services and guarantees for their customer, and even a certified specialist for consultation
But none of them applies when needed, I have bought the above serum from them, however, it completely ruined the skin underneath my eyes, instead of anti-aging, it creates more and more fine lines under them, and there come new ones every morning I woke up, they can't really tell what's going on with my skin and if there's any way that it will cure, and told me twice to buy another product from them.
The skin in that area absorbs nothing, so they never heal, I've already spent over 4000kroner on finding new eye-creams which would help at least a bit since the break out in early January, and now I have to spend another 30, 000+HKD in treatments after consulting a dermatologist, the damage seems to be permenant.
Do not use their products, and be prepared if you have decided to do so.
unauthorized purchase
Noticed a purchase of $56.96 on my credit card on Tuesday 10/10/17. Called Murad customer service on 10/11/17 to let them know I was charged for a purchase I did not make. The CS rep told me that I checked a box on my last purchase that said I would be receiving a 90 day supply in 30 days that I would need to cancel if I did not want. On my last purchase, I did a "one time check-out" because I did not want my credit card information stored and last year, the same thing happened in which Murad kept sending an abundance of product that I did not need. The CS rep then tells me that I have 2 options. 1.When I receive the unauthorized package of goods, I open it, and bring it back to the post office and they pay for the shipping or 2. Murad will not charge me the next 2 installments that they plan to charge me for the product that I did not order in the first place. To make things worse, when I sign into my account, which I did not use when I made my last purchase over a month ago that supposedly caused this to take place, there is no information about this what so ever. As far as I am concerned this is a scam. It is is a shame because I love Murad products but I have had nothing but problems with the company charging me for product that I did not order and do not want. It is 2017, this company should be ashamed they are losing good customers because they steal from them! The product I have been using for 5+ years and love but I looks like its time to find a company that has an honest mission! If you must have the product, I suggest buying it at Ulta or Sephora where you will not risk being apart of their scam!

sending to collections without communication
I ordered from Murad and received my first package for $97. I then ordered again and received my package for $47. I noticed that they were going to ship again, so I called. They said they removed me from the "membership" program and the auto shipments (that I did not sign up for). Four months went by and I received no products and no more communications. Today I receive a notice from a collection agency for $29.95! I called Murad and they sad it was due from the second shipment, but I received no products. I have absolutely no idea why I owe the money, or why they would send me information to a collection agency with no prior communication. They have my name, address, phone number, and email address in their files. Seems like if they think I owe them money that maybe they should have tried to contact me prior to sending me to collections and ruining my credit. Do not buy from this company. They have good products but terrible business practices.
