Navigating The Ordinary's Website: Affordable Prices and Quality Products, But Be Wary of Review Restrictions
Yo, so I checked out The Ordinary's website and it's pretty easy to get around. You can click on all the menu stuff and it'll either get bigger or smaller. And let me tell you, the prices for their stuff are super reasonable and the quality is top-notch. But here's the thing, they're kinda picky about what reviews they let people see. You can submit a review, but they gotta review it first before they decide if it's good enough to show to everyone else. So if you wanna leave a solid review that everyone can see, you might wanna hit up Sephora or some other place like that.
Cautionary Review: The Ordinary AHA 30 + BHA 2 Peeling Solution Caused Chemical Burns and No Way to Contact Company
So, I've been dealing with acne scarring for a while now and I decided to give The Ordinary a try. I purchased their AHA 30 + BHA 2 Peeling Solution and used it once every second week for a maximum of 5 minutes. However, I woke up this morning with chemical burns around my mouth and extreme redness and irritation on my cheeks. Needless to say, I was not happy about this.
I tried to find a way to contact the company to complain about my experience, but I couldn't find a contact form or a general email address. This was frustrating because I wanted to let them know about my negative experience and see if they could offer any solutions or advice.
Overall, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. While I understand that everyone's skin is different and may react differently to certain products, the fact that I couldn't even reach out to the company to voice my concerns was a major letdown. If you're considering trying The Ordinary, I would suggest proceeding with caution and doing your research beforehand.
The Ordinary: Top-Notch Quality, but Use with Caution
I stumbled upon The Ordinary on Asos and I gotta say, I'm hooked! The first thing I got my hands on was the Vitamin C Suspension 23% and 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and I haven't looked back since. The quality of their products is top-notch and I can't recommend this cosmetic line enough. However, it's important to note that some of their products have a high concentration of active substances that can be harmful to your skin if not used properly. So, it's always a good idea to consult with your cosmetologist before diving in headfirst. But trust me, once you find the right products for your skin, you'll be a fan for life.
The Ordinary Skincare Review: My Secret to Clearer, Even-Toned Skin
I've been dealing with acne, texture issues, and hyperpigmentation for as long as I can remember. It's been a real struggle, but I've finally found something that works for me - The Ordinary. I'm not gonna lie, it took some trial and error to figure out which products were best for my skin, but once I did, the results were amazing.
I've included a photo to show you what I mean. The pic on the left was taken before I started using The Ordinary, and the one on the right is after. As you can see, my skin is much clearer and more even-toned now. And the best part? I only got one zit on my nose in the pic on the right, even though I was on my period at the time.
So, what's my secret? Well, I don't really have a set routine. I just alternate between different products depending on how my skin looks and feels that day and night. I've included a picture of all the products I use, so you can see for yourself.
Overall, I'm really happy with The Ordinary. It's affordable, effective, and easy to use. If you're struggling with acne or hyperpigmentation like I was, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
The Ordinary's Buyout by Estee Lauder: A Disappointing Turn for Affordable Skincare - Try The Inkey List Instead
I tried to leave a review for one of The Ordinary's products, but they wouldn't let me. Some of their products are decent, but I'm not going to keep using them after they were bought out by Estee Lauder. Gross. I don't want to support them anymore. Unfortunately, most affordable skincare lines are owned by terrible families or big corporations. It's really sad. I've found that The Inkey List is a much better option overall. Give them a try instead.
Inconsistent Quality: My Experience with The Ordinary's Retinol 2%
So, I tried out The Ordinary's Retinol 2% and my first bottle was pretty good. It had a nice serum texture and looked like it was doing its job. But when I bought my second bottle, it was like it had been watered down or something. It didn't look like the first bottle and it didn't stay on my skin very well. I was pretty disappointed, so I decided to reach out to the manufacturer to see if they could help me out. Unfortunately, they didn't really do anything to help me. I also went back to the retail store where I bought it from, but they weren't much help either. The box had a batch number on it, but there was no best before or expiry date, which the store manager was looking for. They promised to get back to me, but they never did. It's no wonder that this stuff is so cheap...
Amazing Hydration: My Review of the 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Their stuff is just amazing, I gotta say. I'm a huge fan of their 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I've tried all sorts of fancy, expensive, all-natural, big-name brands, you name it, and this is the only thing that really does the trick for my super fine, dry skin. It's like my skin just drinks it up, and there's no gross residue left behind. Plus, it doesn't have any of those stinky perfumes or scents that some other products have, and it's super cheap to boot. My skin is super delicate and sensitive, but this stuff works like a charm without any issues at all. I can't recommend it enough!
Affordable and Effective Skincare: My Love for The Ordinary Products
I absolutely adore The Ordinary products! They are so affordable that even if you end up not liking a product, you won't be out more than a drugstore brand (and probably even less). The range of items they offer is simply amazing. As someone who is obsessed with skincare at the age of 52, I often come across articles that recommend certain products, like Latic Acid. And with just a few clicks on their website, I can easily find The Ordinary Latic Acid and add it to my cart!
I have been a loyal customer of The Ordinary for quite some time now and I keep coming back for more. Whenever I run out of a product, I immediately restock. Sometimes, I even buy two just because the price is so good and I don't want to wait for shipping the next time I need to restock. In fact, I have a large lazy susan that is filled to the brim with The Ordinary products!
I cannot recommend The Ordinary enough. Not only are their products affordable, but they also work wonders on my skin. I have noticed a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin since I started using their products. So, if you're looking for high-quality skincare products that won't break the bank, look no further than The Ordinary!
Affordable and Effective Skincare: My Review of The Ordinary Products
So, I recently decided to give The Ordinary a try after hearing so many good things about their products. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! The website was easy to navigate and I had no issues placing my order. The products arrived in a timely manner and were packaged nicely.
I decided to try out their No-Needle Serum and it did not disappoint. My skin felt smoother and more hydrated after just a few uses. I also tried their Hyaluronic Acid and it worked wonders for my dry skin. I love that their products are affordable and effective.
However, I did have a bit of trouble with their customer service. I accidentally entered the wrong address at checkout and tried to contact them to fix it. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response to my email and when I called, I was told there was nothing they could do. It was a bit frustrating, but I understand mistakes happen.
Overall, I would definitely recommend The Ordinary to anyone looking for affordable and effective skincare products. Just be sure to double check your address at checkout!
The Ordinary's Website and Customer Service Need Improvement
I gotta say, I've had some issues with The Ordinary's website when it comes to shipping and delivery. It's been a bit of a hassle, but I've always managed to get my order in the end. The customer service is a bit hard to get a hold of, though. The phone line seems to be on and off, and it's tough to actually talk to someone.
But let me tell you, my recent experience was the last straw. I ordered some gifts a week before Christmas in 2022, and they were supposed to arrive before the big day. It's now January 2023, and I still haven't received my order. The shipment was just sitting at the origin for days, and it wasn't picked up until days later. Since then, there have been no updates.
Honestly, I'd recommend buying this brand from other retailers. I love the products that The Ordinary offers, but their customer service is just not up to par. Their warehouse fulfillment is nothing compared to other major retailers, and they don't seem to have a sense of urgency when it comes to customers' needs. Plus, sometimes you can find the same product for a cheaper price at other retailers. I've noticed that a couple of items are priced higher on The Ordinary's website than they are at other retailers that sell The Ordinary.
Overall, I'd say that The Ordinary has some great products, but their website and customer service could use some work. If you're looking to buy from them, I'd recommend checking out other retailers first to see if you can find a better deal.
The Ordinary Complaints 5
Damaged product
My order arrived and when I opened it one of the bottles had leaked due to a faulty lid. It doesn't close fully so when in transit a lot of the liquid was lost. My order number is [protected] and the batch no on the product is 3DI . I ordered on the 1/27/24 and was delivered on the 30/1/24. As soon as this got delivered I submitted an online email to their customer service team and still have heard nothing back at all. After a week of not hearing anything I sent another email and still I have no reply. When I call I never seem to get through to anyone and I'm now losing hope.
Claimed loss: £8.80
Desired outcome: I want another one sending out to me.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution Review: Not Worth the Hype
So, I tried out this thing called The Ordinary. It's a skincare brand that's supposed to be all fancy and stuff. I got their caffeine solution because I heard it's supposed to help with dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. But let me tell you, it did not work out for me.
First of all, when I put it on, it stung like crazy. And then, after a few days of using it, I noticed that the skin around my eyes was all red and irritated. And to top it off, it made my eyes look even more sunken in than they already were! I mean, I know I'm not getting any younger, but come on!
I don't know if it's just me or what, but I definitely won't be using this stuff again. Maybe it works for some people, but it definitely didn't work for me. So if you're thinking about trying it out, just be careful and maybe do a patch test first or something.
The Ordinary Products: A Fiery Disappointment
So, I tried out some products from The Ordinary and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. I used their niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Glycolic Acid 7% toning solution and boy oh boy, my face was on fire! It was not a pleasant feeling at all. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing these products again.
