I am writing to share my recent experience with Myflowergift.com. I placed an order on their website, making sure beforehand that they could deliver to my location. According to their website, delivery to my area was feasible. With this assurance, I proceeded to order the specific cake I had in mind.
However, a few hours later, I received an email from them stating that the requested cake flavor was unavailable, and they offered an alternative flavor instead. Unfortunately, I didn't see this email until later in the evening when I checked to track my order. To my disappointment, the replacement flavor they suggested was not what I had originally wanted. I promptly responded, expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting a refund since it was already too late for an alternative delivery.
Their response was rather unexpected. They informed me that a refund was not possible, and instead, they could only offer a credit note. Essentially, this meant that I had to place another order with them, even if I was no longer interested, as my money would be tied to their platform. This situation felt like a form of exploitation.
Contrastingly, many other websites clearly communicate in advance if they cannot deliver specific products to a particular location. This helps customers avoid spending money on orders that cannot be fulfilled. Myflowergift.com, on the other hand, appears to accept orders regardless of delivery feasibility and then presents customers with options chosen by them instead of the customer.
To make matters worse, the lack of transparency is concerning. The website prominently displays positive reviews from 2019, yet newer comments are conspicuously absent. This raises suspicions of potential deceptive practices (SCAM).
I strongly advise against placing orders on Myflowergift.com due to the issues I have encountered. Their refusal to offer refunds and questionable business practices make me skeptical of their credibility and customer-focused intentions.
