I have been a spiritual teacher for many years. I lived in south Dakota, with Dakota Sioux for many years. I was married to a native American. I am being maligned and investigated by this group for no valid reason. They note the book I co wrote and state " it looks like a Public Relations" ploy. In this book I speak about my spiritual journey and the honor I was granted to learn from and live with various native people. I am a white person and never proclaim to be native American.
I note that Google previously removed this site, however google again displays it.
There are revered individuals, who are being defamed...who are chiefs and one hundred percent indian.
PLEASE HELP TO PUT ONLY VALIDATED INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET. THESE HATE GROUPS ARE ONLY CAUSING FURTHER HATRED AND RACISM...

NAFPS started out as a Yahoo group until it was shut down by Yahoo. It has been kicked off many servers since that time. The owner of the board is Irish Mexican, not enrolled Apache, raised Catholic and the moderators are not Native American. They are doing much harm.

NAFPS has just listed Russell FourEagles as a fraud. His great grandfather was Henry Peaceful Lake (Smith) from Couchiching reserve in Canada. Henry's father was Ojibwa and his mother was Oneida from Six Nations of Canada. Henry married Birdie Hoover, from Oneida Reservation at Oconto, WI. She was great granddaughter of Chief Neopit of the Menominee. Birdie was of Oneida and Menominee descent. Henry and Birdie had a daughter, Coretta Mae Smith, Russell's grandmother. Her daughter was Russell's mother Lauretta. On his father's side, his grandmother Minerva was predominantly Ojibwa. His paternal great grandfather was half American Indian and half German. Russell served during the Vietnam War. NAFPS is giving incorrect information.

The problem with this site is that there is little to no background research and the nuances of spiritual practice are not recognized. It’s easy to point out cultural appropriation, which is good, but it’s another to deride beliefs just because you don’t believe in them or believe they work or have a personal grudge/conflict with the person you report. I know of an example that is on that site that was born out of a personal conflict with the person they named as a fraud. I know that the person who posted the claim has stolen from the people he names, issued death threats, done things that threaten their mundane income, made absolutely false claims [like that the person in question asks for large amounts of cash before delivering their services when it is widely known and experienced that this person in question deals only in barter], engages/engaged in stalking behavior like showing up unannounced when they have repeatedly been told they are not allowed on the property and contacting all the person’s loved ones to tell them lies about the person in question. There was also a post about someone who could prove they were a member of a First Nations tribe and that they had the approval and supervision of their group’s elders to practice what and how they were practicing and they were STILL labeled a fraud. Not everyone listed there is a fraud or a charlatan or is harmful.

NAFPS is all about invalidation. Their attacks and accusations are very shallow, and very generic. Thus, this shows how ignorant they are. If you try to defend yourself on their form, they will accuse you as a Fake, they will edit what you said to suit their accusations, then they will ban you to keep you from replying. They do not represent the real 1st nation people, they are a fraud, and they have nothing to do with the people they say they are defending. I found them to be very ignorant about Native Cultures.

Susan Liberty Hall wrote a book on her own cancer story and explains how she cured herself of breast cancer using natural remedies. This makes her a fraud? Congratulations Susan for surviving cancer! I You go girl!

I bought your story on amazon kindle and read it. It was well done. You and I think exactly the same way when it comes to cancer treatment. I'm glad you made it. I'm sorry your brother who opted for conventional methods did not. Ignore the fraud label. You are living proof that you are not a fraud and these treatments worked for you.

Bloodroot is a humble plant that produces delicate white flowers in the spring and has also been used by Native Americans for centuries. It is found mostly in the eastern part of the United States and can help with respiratory issues, and skin ailments such as skin tumors and warts. Recent research also points to the power of this unassuming plant’s root system as a source of the powerful alkaloid Sanguinarine, which has long been known as a cancer fighter.
Studies Prove the Cancer-Fighting Power of Sanguinarine
Hundreds of studies so far have demonstrated the connection between the plant antioxidant Sanguinarine and cancer. This suggests that this unique substance found in bloodroot may have chemotherapeutic (cancer killing) properties.
According to a study published by the University of Minnesota Medical School that looked specifically at Native American healing modalities, researchers found that the Sanguinarine in bloodroot can “block proliferation and induce apoptosis in a number of different transformed and malignant cell types.” Study researchers discovered in particular that Sanguinarine, in a dose-dependent manner, is effective on certain kinds of skin cancer even when pharmaceutical drugs are not: “Of particular interest from a chemotherapeutic standpoint, Sanguinarine suppresses the growth of squamous carcinoma cells more effectively than normal foreskin keratinocytes, and inhibits the growth of a number of multidrug resistant cell lines, ” researchers noted.
The proliferation of cancer cells in the blood is a hallmark of leukemia. Any substances that can restore apoptosis (cancer cell death) show promise for leukemia healing. A very recent study published in the May 2016 edition of the journal Free Radical Biology and Medicine discovered that Sanguinarine in bloodroot can stimulate cancer cell death through the “activation of caspase cascade, DNA fragmentation and down-regulation of anti-apoptotic proteins” in laboratory leukemia cells
A 2013 Korean study published in the journal Toxicology discovered that the same processes mentioned above − inducing of cancer cell mitochondrial dysfunction − allowed Sanguinarine to effect colorectal cancer tumor growth.
A 2011 study at the University of California, Davis, found that Sanguinarine had a marked effect on prostate cancer as well. This was mainly through its effect on the protein survivin.
The most exciting discovery as to what Sanguinarine can do is on breast cancer cells. #It has been used by some traditional healers to treat breast cancer# The same University of Minnesota study also discovered that Sanguinarine had an effect on breast cancer cells after a single application. DNA synthesis of breast cancer tumors (MCF-7) led to tumor growth inhibition. Some aspects of this inhibition remained in place for at least three days after single administering (others came back after 24 hours). The overall results lead the University of Minnesota researchers to conclude that Sanguinarine may be able to “suppress breast cancer cell proliferation for extended lengths of time.”
How Does Sanguinarine in Bloodroot Kill Cancer Cells?
As researchers such as the ones above are discovering, Sanguinarine works in a variety of ways to inhibit cancer cell growth. Its one-two punch, however, is really felt in its ability to effect survivin, a protein that is specifically designed to inhibit cell death (apoptosis). When survivin is active in cancer cells, it can make them practically invincible.
Sanguinarine directly inhibits the functions of survivin in cancer cells. This involves not only creating balance within the cell but also by directly breaking down the survivin protein itself. Without survivin working in their favor, cancer cells soon become subject to the normal cycles of cell death.
One thing is for sure about Sanguinarine found in bloodroot − it appears that a little can go a long way. Because Sanguinarine is a benzophenanthrene alkaloid, bloodroot is usually used as a topical microbial for skin rashes and lesions. It is also used in toothpastes (it helps fight gingivitis) and mouthwashes, as well as for the conditions mentioned above.
Although its cancer-killing effects occur when it is ingested, taking too much internally can lead to burning of the stomach, vomiting, vertigo, faintness, and dimness of eyesight. Because of this, it should always be administered under the supervision of a qualified health care professional.
Much has been written about the amazing healing properties of herbs that come from China, India, and other Asian countries. Not so much is known, however, about the powerful healing herbs that grow right here in the United States. Bloodroot, growing in the wild and as a decorative in many east coast communities, is just such a plant.
Modern science is just now discovering what native peoples right here on this continent have known for centuries. As a carefully-used topical tonic, antimicrobial, and potential cancer-fighter, bloodroot can be a powerfully healing substance.

Robert Roy's native black salve formula DOES NOT contain the caustic ingredient Zinc Oxide found in most commercial brands which is causing the damage and is dangerous. Herbal Black Salves should contain any of these dynamic drawing and healing herbs: Red Clover Buds, Poke Root, Chickweed, Mullein, Chaparral, Comfrey Root, Plantain Leaf, Bloodroot, Kaolin Clay, Charcoal Powder, Pine Tar, Beeswax. Herbal Black Salve has been used for centuries to gradually draw out infections and impurities in the skin. Do not use any black salve with Zinc Oxide or Zinc Chloride.

Quackwatch (Casewatch) is a site owned and paid for by the pharmaceutical companies http://www.quackpotwatch.org/
If Robert Roy is on there it may be because his formula actually works like it did for Susan Hall and others. This is what happens to people who find or use a natural remedy for disease. They are labelled quacks. That goes for native healers as well. Health is not the concern of corporations. Standing Rock is providing a good example of that. #1 moneymaker in America - Oil #2 moneymaker in America - commerical banks #3 moneymaker in America - pharmaceutical drugs. Transnational corporate monopolies are the drivers behind the Corporatocracy that currently exists. Some of the predominant monopolies, all inter-related and mutually reinforcing, are
Finance
Oil
Pharmaceuticals
Military-Industrial Complex
Media owned by 6 corporations who all have shares in oil, pharmaceuticals, Monsanto
Chemotherapy was derived from mustard gas financed with petroleum money
how about the drug companies being held responsible for the deaths caused by their products. The fourth leading cause of death in America is from pharmaceutical drugs http://ethics.harvard.edu/blog/new-prescription-drugs-major-health-risk-few-offsetting-advantages

Hi, I know of this site too, a friend published on a blog an account of a woman that had alleviated herself from the side affects of HIV treatmente, then given up altogether on the chemicals and went for the plants. In Two years she was a changed person ... Many people saw the change, her immune system recuperated, she became stronger.
Someone from NAFPS picked up on it and attacked the claim that HIV can be treated herbally. They never truly investigated the case. They didn't even seem to want to know about the truth. With time they them morphed the whole thing into full libelous attack against the shamanic group that had been involved in helping the lady in question... This attack continues to this day although they don't appear to have had much luck finding people that are willing to join them in the attack... People appear and make false accusations under false names and then members of NAFPS comments as if it were a fact even though the accusations are not backed up.

Best wishes. Gabriel Baker

Yes, there are many people that have been slandered by NAFPS. I know also of a German herbalist (Hans Deiter Stohl) that was attacked and slandered for saying he knew a herbal cure for Lyme Disease... Fact is the cure he gives works and I know of people that have tried it and been cured so NAFPS once more off the mark with their attacks. They seem to have an agenda. Check out following blog which says more about their agenda.

There is no issue in writing about herbal treatments that have worked for others. I know the teas I wrote about worked for two friends of mine with two different forms of cancer. It shrunk their tumours and reduced their cancer markers. It wasn't the koolaid that did it and it is the experience for many. Even Don Cardinal's wife said it shrunk her mother's cancer tumour in half. Don Cardinal would not have allowed his own mother-in-law to take it if he thought it was dangerous or would increase her cancer cells. ND's in Canada recommend these teas to those with cancer. I'm a dual citizen with the UK, Scotland and Ireland...grew up with my relatives overseas, lived and worked in Scotland, stayed at and studied at Trinity College in Dublin and I know very well ND's know about them there as well. They don't know herbs either and were busy looking up fearmongering stuff on the net. I never did a workshop on the teas or sold them nor was I scheduled too but if they were really smart, they would have checked the fact that there are already Essiac tea classes and Chaga tea workshops and Chaga tea parties happening in Canada and there have been for some time. Essiac tea is also known as Ojibwa tea. Cree Healers call Chaga, Poashkan. Ojibway Healers call it Cha'a'ihtthi. You can find them and the herbs in any health food store in Canada. Nancy is terminally ill and under home care with PSWs and Cherry Valley is no longer in operation as of 2017 and the website is gone. The newspaper that published my article called, "Native Cancer Teas", not "Native Cancer Cures" that was approved by my editor with the source included is no longer in operation either as of 2014 and the website and the article along with it are long gone too but somehow this terminally ill woman and the tea recipe I wrote about and sent her is still a major threat to society. Obviously, the black salve worked for Susan. Plants helped your friend with HIV and plants helped people with Lyme disease. Plants are medicine. A Drug company in the states just took the active ingredient in cannabis and turned it into [removed] and are charging megabucks for it. They spent $500, 000 to keep marijuana illegal so they could turn around and create a synthetic drug. The DEA approved the patented synthetic drug while keeping the actual plant illegal. In fact, Canadians who try to cross the border with even prescription marijuana which is ordered by a doctor are banned from entering the USA but you can cross with [removed] because they patented it and make a profit from it . The real plant, which is superior, can not be patented and costs peanuts to buy. I am chemically sensitive to most medications and can't handle the side effects and that has forced me to look at plant medicine. I think there are a lot of people like that. Plant medicines have been around for thousands of years. Synthetic medicines have only been around for about 100 years and many have bad side effects. Is it any wonder that people turn to natural medicine to help them?

It just amazes me that this site of bullies continues with utter nonsense, lies, psychological warfare, defamation, and slander. How is it they are even online to continue, and it turns out I’m not their only target of this behavor AND they are not Native themselves, yet they have deemed themselves Native fraud hunters! They have slandered, libeled, and lied about me for at least eight years. From what I see I'm not alone, and from the feedback, they will manufacture evidence when they have none to continue this. How is it victims of this group can't get together and file a civil lawsuit? For one person it's too expensive but for a group it's feasible.
