Najam credit card
Hi
I am using Najm credit card for lat 3-4 Years all these days I was happy with service though it is not so attractive. and I am using only Najm credit card now. Till now I didn't made any due on on card also. Today In UAE we got 5 Days leave and I tried to swipe the card while shopping, I came to know the reduced my credit limit to 1500 AED from today morning without informing. I tried to call customer care and they are saying they cannot help because its internal policy.. What the ...
I dont recommend this card any more to anyone. I decide I wont use Najm card any more...
Voucher not received, cashback and discount problem
Main issues:
No gift card or Voucher received
No automatic cash back
No discount on magic planet
The agent promised me that I will get 300 mall gift card of city center via What's app message.
Once I received the card there was no gift card along with, I called the agent he was not answering my call and neither replying on my messages.
Once I the Call center they said I will get after one month, When I call after one month they said you need to spend certain amount and you will get the 300/-aed voucher via mail.
Approached & log many time complained about all promised service to call center and supervisor's no one helped.
One person call me recently and said that there was no promotion that time and all above mentioned benefit agent lied about it and he has been terminated, company is not liable of it (After 9 months ).
Please take care of my complained.

I requested to Cancel my Card request Ref no : MAF6757225, since 20th July 2019 i received a call from Mr. Binju James Portfolio Executive after a week asking for the reason and trying to keep the credit card active, in short I told him i am living the country and i do not need it anymore after i insist he asked me to pay an additional amount in order to make my credit 0, I did paid more the amount required even thought i had paid all my outstanding, now Binju sending me email telling after they tried to call me and I am out of the country to spoil my vacation, I tried to call you in international number +[protected] to keep me in hold more than 8 minutes.

They are a bunch of thieves, they did the same with when I request to cancel my card . they were bargaining with me to add an additional amount of 600 AED to close the card. They cancelled my settlement plan while I was away on vacation without let me know or sending me an email. They are very rude and unprofessional.

Kindly i would like to bring your attention regarding Over charges in my Credit card Bill on July 2019. It's has been Charged three time Billed finance charges which is not acceptable. So far im really happy with my Najm credit card and its gives me lots of benefits all the time how ever since two months im getting over charged with my bill which gives me uncomfortable situations. with this mail i hope its will be corrected from your end.

Najm platinum credit card advertisement says ... 10 % cashback for first 2 month ... This was true for the first month ... Then haliwali
A complaint was logged as the advertised conditions were not followed
And the reply was outside the scope ... Claim 1 rejected

These guys are a joke. People should never sign up for their cards. only card in the world where the credit limit is of no consequence. so if you have a AED 10, 000 limit and say your statement is generated for AED 5, 000; what do you think your credit limit should be? Well most of you would say that its AED 5, 000, not Najm, now your limit is AED 10, 000 and why because apparently the customer is in the process of paying it, what [censored], basically this means that they can take an unwitting customer for a ride and make him spend twice his limit therefore charge him additional fees on top of the other charges and penalties.
They do not remind you of the payment dates and very cleverly use two sms's to send messages. When the statement is generated the sms is sent from one sms id and daily you receive tons of promos and any spend on another sms id. This company has a poor ethic and should not be trusted.
I want to update that the credit limit issue is because of the lack of the customer service representative. I was shocked when he told me this, but i believe that this is because he has no clue of how a credit card work or how the limit is calculated. I believe that my payment was credited and limit adjusted but just not visible on the statement.
Been cheated by sales person / a bit lengthy complaint

A sales person from najm (hassan - [protected]) approached my company at the mid of dec-2018, saying there is promotion going on saying the following,
1. No annual fees of 300aed
2. Gift card of 300aed (which only I received from 2 3 persons who have applied from my company along with me)
3. I will get cash back of 10% on where ever & what ever I purchase
From the above I only received 300aed gift card.
Then I asked that guy about the reimbursement of 300aed of annual fees, after my statement that I received including the annual fees. He promised me that he is responsible to get that money along with all the cash back whatever I purchased above 75 aed. After that I didnt get any positive reply I raised as a complaint (2 3 times I did complaint), then I got call back from him he said the customer care people does'nt knows about the offers kindly withdraw the complaint (so I did the same believing his words). From that month of feb till march end he said the same story. By march end he said that I will get all the cash back watever eligible for me as a gift card and he will get me a new credit card with some good offers, so he offered me to cancel the existing card. But I could not cancel by march since I was running with an emi until may. He asked me to call after may when my emi gets over.
Till now he is not picking the call / no response in whatsapp (reason I didnt complaint in the middle is because I went on for vacation by june).
After a long time he picked my call yesterday 08.07.19 (since I called from some other number), he said the story that your deal is ready ill confirm by aftn on the same day, but he didnt turned out until now after so many calls and messages.
I have been literally cheated and still being cheated.
Note:
1. I need justice for my loss of aed-300 (annual fees)
2. My cash back what he promised I will get for all the purchases I did believing the glittering offers what he said. (to be honest I started using the card after he confirmed through the call about the 10% cash back or else I wouldnt have used the card)
3. Even if I am not getting anything I need to know whether whatever he said is true or no, I am broken, having a feeling that I got cheated cheaply only because of his monthly target. And then I need to close my card so I dont have to pay any yearly fees anymore.
4. Some of his whatsapp message is with me if needed I shall send as a mail if get a call back.
5. For my satisfaction I am writing this complaint. I have also complained by call. My ref no is (maf-6685932)
Your prompt action is required. If also you people could not do anything say me at the earliest. I will happily take this cheat and cheap activity by your staff. But I need to know whats the status.

They are charging for late payment even if you have paid on thr due date. How is it possible that late payment be charged since it is still under the due date. Other banks dont do this as i have other credit card from other bank too.
They shoukd have clarified this in the first place do we customers will not be surprised when we receive our bills.
Credit card fraud
A fraudulent transaction was made using my
Najm card however physically my card was with me and I didn't authorize any such transaction. I received a message midnight
IVR 142 AE... andd reported immediately, my card was blocked and I had also forwarded a dispute investigation form . I am still waiting for the process to complete but I m very disappointed to find out that this amount is included in my statement expecting me to pay this amount and later if the investigation goes in my favor then they will probably refund this back. Extremely disappointed with the way things are going.. no one ever contacted me regarding the same .. I have been calling them up in regular intervals and following up... A credit card fraud is a criminal offense and hence expected them to deal with much serious manner and be considerate about d customer's stress during this period. However unfortunately it seems they r just taking it like any other normal issues and only giving me an answer that investigation period might take up to 90 days time and promising a call back every time within 2-3 days.
What other ways can I proceed with this to avoid any financial loss on my part please suggest.

I am an old customer of Najm. I just want to give a small summary:
1- Customer Service are Rude and give never solutions in return. Just asking us to send emails where we get never any reply.
2- Their app and online are really bad and not reliable!
3- Hidden fees, Late payment fees, Over limit fees, Payment fees... All are not justified, but a way of taking money...
The Fees are high! I saw myself paying around aed 3000 a year for unjustified fees!
4- Collection Department: A complete Mess!
In My opinion, maf should look into this or close once for all Najm
non customer getting transaction message
I am a non NAJM customer and I am getting the transaction messages continuously to my number since many days . I have inform the same on your customer care number multiple times but there was no action and I am keep on getting the messages (attach few examples )
Today only I got 3 such messages &Its really annoying
Please stop sending it and make your customer transaction confidential !

Najm credit card has the worst sales and support team ever, I am a customer with them since 2008 and since November 2018 an suffering from a mistake from a stupid sale lady called Namrata Janiani she did a mistake cost me until now around 4000aed whenever I email her always auto-reply, last week I went to their office and met someone called Sameer he promised to solve and called me but nothing happen moreover he said that it is not allowed to give me his land line nbr how can you trust a company that cannot give u their office number to follow up and if u call the customer service also not allowed to transfer the call ... As he is the president ...Please please be aware, they only run away from their responsibility ...will close it today ...
Don't reply to me saying sorry and send an email to social media... I did million of time no one bother himself to reply...bad bad service 1 star was too much for you guys..

His name is Mr. Ahmed and after signing the settlement letter, i missed 1 payment bn y 1 day only and he and his team are hard asing mentally that we will cancel the settlement and will do this and that. Where I am constantly requesting that I had to go for medical for my son to the hospital. They are talking and yelling. Also they threat that if I want then I can happily complaint to the CEO of NAJM. Is this FOR NAJM is famous? Really we need government to take action against these rude people and the company for mantally harassment.

I have LOP and Balance transfer using Najm, and agreed to pay the corresponding interest. I also used the card for purchases, and at the moment I am just able to pay my minimum balance or more but not the whole outstanding so they charge me.But it is very disappointing to know that they even include my LOP and Bal. I had taken a Najm Credit Card with no. [protected] in the year 2015 valid from 04/2015 to 04/2018. The credit limit is AED 7000/- and has never increased or amended. I have handed over a blank security cheque of EMIRATES Bank in the year 2015. The credit card was cancelled with a settlement amount of Dhs. 8500/- approved from NAJM in November 2017. I paid the settlement amount of Dhs. 8500 full and then upon your request I have further paid AED 350/- for issuing a clearance letter for this card and possess all supporting documents regarding my payment.
While, to my utter shock, I have received a bounced cheque message on 11th April 2019 for an amount of AED 14, 900/-
This is absolutely against the bank policies and I hereby affirm that Najm has intentionally tried to grab money from me without any justification.
Najm have denied all my emails of card clearance and the said card is actually an "invalid and cancelled" card.
I have not yet received my bounced cheque and clearance letter till now.

If you are planning to get a Najm Card..rethink 100 times a sincere request. This company is seriously a joke and it's shows when they deal with their clients. Earlier they charged AED 30, 000 on my card for no reason. After long struggle I finally got this money back.I made all the payments and requested 2 weeks ago to close the card, till now there's no action and adding to it my card is hacked again for AED 10, 000. So this what we get when we try to close the card..additional charges and the card will never close it seems so.
Wake Up Najm people..You are not only loosing customer but ruining your reputation in the market.

Wrong charges
I did some transactions on my card which has been classified as Cash Advance. And when I called up customer care, I was given reference to below clause, however, my transaction doesn't fulfil that as I cannot withdraw the money as Cash. In case of refund, it will come in card and not as Cash to my Account
Please find my concerns below:-
1. Customer care representative said that this classification is from the Card Issue company whereas I did same transaction from my other credit card and same has not been considered as Cash Advance in that card and no extra charges being placed on my other card
2. In case this was Cash Advance, then message which I received after transaction should have mentioned "Cash Advance" but it was just like a regular message stating that "You made a Purchase of AED xxx at xxxxx".
3. Customer Care person was neither able to justify the reason for classifying this transaction as Cash Advance nor was able to provide reason that why incorrect message was sent in case this transaction was Cash Advance"
When i complained, customer care people were so rude and were not even ready to listen.

I have used almost around 10-11 k aed for purchases in the DSS offer which najm promoted for 5% cashback .on June up to august 4th was sale end. i have spent that amount in the above mentioned period. and najm informed that it will take 45 working days from the end of sale date.
i have waited till the October statement on which the 45 business days finished but i did not get any cash back from najm.
also i have continuously followed up with the customer care representatives many times but no one flowed up from 7th of October up to November 21.
7 times i followed up with proper records with them for which they have informed that i will get a call back but which i did not got. also i have mailed them 2 times for which i have not got any reply .
even after continuous chasing of 45 days still there is no follow up, even i asked representatives to transfer my call to their senior or higher management but i did not get any feed back and all.
Even for small mistake like 3aed or 4aed they have charged 200aed and simply daily changes of policy and other things make uncomfortable even after paying the amount regularly, also finance charges they have putted in the bill.
also unknown hidden charges they are applying.
wasted my time after taking this card which is so annoying.
never ever refer someone to take card from najm.
even i dont want to pay any outstanding amount for this card and i wanted to close the account without paying the amount.

Both these amounts are not matched up at NAJM rather not even confirmed as received. Last 7 weeks I have been speaking to NAJM call centre and HSBC bank for confirming on these transactions. However HSBC has confirmed even today that the transactions have been successful and credited to NAJM. Refer confirmation from HSBC in enclosed png file.
