I am extremely upset and not satisfied with nandos service
I placed an order at 11:30 14 feb 2018 that amounted to r356.50. I spoke to mpho. This is the nandos at parktown. We tried calling and we spoke to her, she rudely hung up. We called again and spoke to eddie, we told him we had placed an order at 11:30 and was told our order will be delivered in 45 min, at 12:30 we tried calling and mpho answered and told us she will put us through to someone who can help us! We told her that we placed the order with her and asked why should we be transferred, we always place big orders with her and she has our contact details as a company. We called in again at 13:00 eddie then told us he will put the matter through management I asked him where mpho was and he said right here and I asked to speak to her, they said they would escalate my issue. No manager was available to handle my query!
I am extremely upset with your services nandos! After working well with you for the past years!
I will not refer our business or any other business to place orders with nandos!
As for keeping our clients and bosses waiting!

wrong winglets cuts supplied to customer
I ordered two box of 10 winglets each. The winglets were 9 flattis and 1 drumlet in each box. I am attaching the pictures of the hot box and the receipt from the store. I am a regular customer used to getting 5 flattis and 5 drumlets. The solution to my complaint from the store was a sorry it will not happen again. The stuff did not accept to exchange and I had to go to a restaurant to eat.

Good afternoon I would just like to inform you about the bones I have been finding in my hot pot while eating it. I opened it and started eating it and enjoying it till I started getting bones in it. It is dangerous and can cause chocking hazzards please look into it. I have always bought the hot pot at nandos krugersdorp and its not the first time I have been getting bones.

order incomplete and not cooked fully
I bought a full chicken with 2 sharing sides (rolls and wedges) order number 573 at Nandos Carnival Mall on 28/12/2017 at 19.00. Half chicken was hot and other half mild. Came home to find the half chicken (hot) was missing the drum stick. The thigh was not cooked properly and still raw inside. Some of the wedges were also hard. I should have known better because they've previously also forgotten to give me the salad I ordered with the full chicken. Very disappointed. I really love nandos.

My family and I stop over at Harrismith to have supper, we ordered a full chicken and two sides rolls and chips over order came to the table and I them asked the waiter for 4 glasses and ice, so she went to the group of employee's and had a discussion and came back and said that if the coodrink was bought from them then it would have been cold but if it is warm them we can't have glasses or ice cause we didn't buy it from them, so I told her to bring cold water, she brought tap water, I then asked if we are not getting any ice, so she then discussed with her group each time, (all of them talking in Zulu, enjoying there nandos meals and laughing, causing a racket while other customers are also in the store), so she got back to tell us we will only get 1 ice each in the water. When I asked for the manager, to my surprise he was sitting with the group and causing all this commotion, his name is Lebohang, so there was no need to talk to him cause he was part of all the discussion.
Their service stinks, I have been to many other Nandos and as a customer was always satisfied with the service received, first franchise that the employees had a discussion and laughing out loud no interest in customer service at all, it is a disgrace.

I would like to place a complain on the bad customer service ever at nandos value mart i was served by a guy by the name of thabo at 30/11/2017 around 13:00pm today and the guy had a bad customer service he was serving me taking to his friend at the other side and I had to repeat myself over for him to get what I was buying at the store he was very rude and the lady who i think it might be the manager was wearing a different t.shirt a grey t.shirt was also in their conversation talking on how the store fear well is gonna b while the was a very long line and the thabo guy who was helping me was busy giggling and focused on the other guy and their conversation i felt like I was boring the cashier because he hardly focused on my order.I will never ever go to southgate value mart nandos ever in my life till the cashiers are been trained on how to treat people and they should discuss their issues at home or on lunch not while we are buying.
nandos - terrible food and service
I went to the Nandos at banbary cross Village, I purchased a family full chicken meal with 4 sharing sides, The teller taking my order couldnt understand what i requested after she gave me my options, I waited for collection of my meal got it and seen on the till slip nandos was running a competion talk nto nandos which was suppose to be at the bottom of my till, so i asked for the unique number code which i should sms, The reply i got was eish the till roll is finished, So i drove off to get home and have a tasteless Meal there was absolutely no taste in the chicken dry as hell, the salad was old nothing was green was all brown. worste nandos i ever ever purchased.

I went to Nandos Broadacres around 14:30 pm yesterday and I purchased 10x2 winglets, a leg portion n chips. I then made a special request to the teller for the meat to be not burnt (due to previous experience with Nandos Broadacres), another request was for a little sauce (a spoon only) on the wings as they usually put a lot of sauce. To my trauma and disappointment, I tasted and immediately saw blood on the plate on one winglet attached below. To me it looked like human blood. The entire meat, all winglets, were very well done...they even had slightly burnt parts. When I returned the meat, the manager on duty even cut the winglet in question infront of me and it was well done, there was no blood inside of it.
I have been buying winglets at Nandos since they were first introduced and never have I ever seen blood on it. The worst part is that the blood was on the outside of the winglet, on the breast like part...the hardest part of the winglet. Where did that come from? The manager on duty today made me speak to the area manager and I relayed my story and sent her the picture below. To my surprise, the picture of the winglets the area manager received from whoever was sending her from Nandos Broadacres is not the same as the very well done winglets I was given. What gives..?what is this..? is someone playing some sick joke on me..?who is fooling who? I had to go to the hospital due to the trauma and anxiety experienced. I spent money not budgeted for and still going to spend more money.
I am deeply disturbed, disgusted and traumatised by all this. Me and my loved ones are never going to set foot at any Nando's branch ever again. I hate Nandos!
quality and delivery of order
I ordered 2 x quarter chicken breast combos and 2 x wraps with sides. We work about 2 km from the store and asked for delivery. We ordered at around 11: 15 am. We only received our order at about 12: 50 pm and the food was absolutely cold. Our lunch time had finished. They also forgot the rolls for an order and put the wrong sauce in the chicken combo and one of the wraps had like a coleslaw instead of salad. The person on the phone was not very helpful. It took forever for the manager to get to the phone. This was one of our worst experiences with Nandos and its happening far too often. The quality of food is on a big decline and service is just ahead.

On the 29th of October 2017a, pproximately around 3:10 P.M, I was standing near the plate section with my wife ready to collect our cuttlery when we noticed they had run out of cuttlery. We sawa few staff rush by and asked one of them regarding the cuttlery. He kindly replied that it would be here shortly. We then waited for 10 minutes, and no cuttlery. I then asked a person named Olivia, whom I asked again regarding the cuttlery, she was of white toned skin and around 5ft 5inch. She was wearing a different colour shirt from rest of the staff so I assumed she was the manager. I told her we have been waiting for cuttlery, she then extremely rudely replied with a rude and loud tone, "GO SIT DOWN AND BE PATIENT". I replied, "Excuse me, but do not take that tone with me". She rudely interrupted me again and said it "go sit down as though I am a child". I told her again not to speak to me in such a tone and a rude manner and I said can you please apologise. She replied, "NO, I WILL NOT". At this point I got annoyed and told her to F OFF and then she threatend to chuck me out by calling security. I asked a staff who she was as they replied she is the manager. Nandos need to rethink who they have as a manager as I will be spreading this news and her picture to all my contacts.
lemon and herb chicken wrap
I asked my boyfriend to get me a lemon and herb chicken wrap at mega city nandos cos I know how juicy your wraps are.
Little did I know that I'd be sitting here trying to get through a dry non saucy wrap like this. I've had these wraps several times so I was sure it would quench my craving. I can't be pregnant and getting poor service. It is not convinient! My plate has never been this dry after eating this wrap

today i have ordered and i have few complains:
first i had given 45 mins delivery time and received after 90 mins which is almost a double of given, secondly when i opened the parcel to eat my food qtr chicken was all out of box and was lying in shopper where my peri bites and side lines was there, do you would you eat after seeing such pathetic serving where all pcs are out with the juicy gravy, and one more thing your call center doesn't have customer dealing manners, when i called twice to ask abt my delivery i dint received proper reply and after my complaint on call center i received a call from your representative for apologizing, first he had called form land line then said couldn't hear my voice so called from his cell number [protected] which i think is not recorded so he played it well, i think you should take strict action against the late delivery and rider who had mess the food and its a night time here cant make excuse of traffic too, well my invoice number is 40707, survey code PAK003, amount 1, 130 and i think 75470 is order number and my contact number is [protected], Mr. Fawd
the food
I have been a loyal Nando's customer since I first discovered the restaurant in Cardiff in 2010 as a student, I instantly fell in love with the food and it has been my favorite restaurant since. Not only did I eat there weekly as a student, but I have also introduced many friends and family to Nando's over the years. Even when living in Chicago for two years I was delighted to find multiple Nando's restaurants and would dine there weekly. I have now moved to Dubai so you can imagine my delight when I saw a restaurant in the Marina, obviously I chose to go there over the many other restaurants in the area.
Thankfully, up until now, I have never had any issues with Nando's other than sometimes slow service or cold food so I have never felt the need to complain. However, my experience with the Nando's at Dubai Marina has left me extremely disappointed. The staff could barely speak English, the garlic bread was just bread with no garlic taste whatsoever, the peri-peri salt was just a curry spice and tasted nothing like peri-peri salt and the chicken in my chicken breast burger was a pathetic slim piece of chicken and did not taste like Nando's should, it had a sour taste. I had to smother my entire meal with wild herb sauce because it was the only thing that actually tasted like it was from a Nando's restaurant.
The most disappointing part of my Dubai Marina Nando's experience was how I felt after consuming the food, later in the evening I had pain in my stomach, followed by a sleepless night and a full day between bed and bathroom because of what I can only assume was food poisoning.
I have certainly been put off from Nando's due this experience, I would highly recommend making some changes to this particular restaurant. I hope you take these comments seriously.

date of incident: 29 Sept 2017
At 5h30 pm, on Friday 29 Sept 2017, I telephonically put in an order for half Nando Chicken and chips, and Nandos chicken salad, 500 ml Coke and 500 ml Just Juice (Cranberry). I also gave the lady taking the order our home phone number in case of any problems. I asked for home delivery and supplied my physical home address, 96 Havelock street.
At 6h45 I phoned Nandos again to enquire as to the whereabouts of my food. They said the delivery man had been to our house, pressed the interkom and got no answer. We don't have an interkom at our gate, and no one came to our gate. I gave detailed directions as to how to find our address for the second time.
We waited some more. At 7h20pm we phoned again and asked where our food was. The lady put me through to the branch manager and he said to me that he had contacted the delivery man and ordered him not to deliver the food to us, as he felt that it would have been spoiled by then. He said that he asked the delivery man to collect a fresh order.
We waited and at 7h45 the scooter arrived at our gate with the order. We paid for the order: About R122.00. By now it was cold, the packet was broken. Some chips had fallen out. The salad had been marinading in dressing so long that the lettuce was inedible.
I then phoned the manager and reported this immediately. He said that he would send a fresh order with the delivery guy, free of charge, the same night, which never came.
I phoned back and enquired about the replacement order. He then said that the free meal would be sent on Saturday 30 September about 11h30am. I told him that I would not be there, but my wife would be.
The delivery man arrived at my home on Saturday 30 Sept, at 11h30, looking for me. I was not available. My wife told him that I was not at home. He said that he had some more deliveries to do and then would bring ours.
As yet (Saturday night, 30 September) no meal has arrived.
As a Nando customer that have supported you, not only in my private capacity, but I as a manager of Pioneer Foods Sasko Bakeries, and I take my repping staff for lunch at Eshowe Nandos. In fact, on Thursday we were in Nandos Eshowe with my sales staff, having lunch.
This is not about receiving a free meal. It is about supplying the public with quality food on time every time.
Also, to have your management promise us things and nothing happens is very disappointing, to say the least.
To put it bluntly, when I carried the brown paper bag with our food to the house, there was already a hole in the carry bag, and the bag was soaking wet. Inside the carry bag, the chips were lying all over; half the chips were lying in the scooter. The little brown bag with my half a chicken in, was also saturated. The salad was a mess.
This type of thing will give Nandos a very bad name, because what am I going to tell people who want to buy the Nandos product?
Again: this is not about a free meal. It is about disappointing service.

Nandos Horizon View in Roodepoort is selling us coal instead of meet. It has happened more than once. I want to eat meet not coal. Another, problem is that they lie to customers. Today, the cashier by the me of Nokuthula said that it is not allowed to sell more than 2 legs portions. That sometimes they run out of stock. When I informed her that I shall call the customer care and ask her if her name will appear on the receipt, she immediately used another cashier's till. I am tired of complaining to the branch manager. I seems that they do not take me seriously. Please intervene

I am currently living in Dbn and everytime I phoned to order the quarter chicken the told me they are sold out.
I called them when they just opened so I find it hard to understand how is it possible to be sold out in 5 mins.

Today the 20th September 2017 at 11 am I went to Nandos Sanridge in Midrand. My order number is 892 and I was served by 116 Karabo. Her service was perfect, I wanted to buy a 1/4 meal when she advised me they have a special R30 for the same meal . I requested that as two different order in two different packs . Only on collection window I met a lady that hasn't even greeted me of which I had NO piece from me missing. But when she finally get my order to me . It wasn't in different packs as I have requested, then I asked the lady that it was two different order s, if she could please separate them .. She told me she can't but can only provide me with a pack to do it myself. After that she wouldn't even look at me and went away to stand behind the counter. If Nandos keeps staff like her without proper customers care, it would forever get the complaints from unhappy customers.

I'm a Nandos fanatic but after today I'm all is changed. We went to to go buy our lunch the service was amazing but the chicken was too dry, the chip in the packet were few with no spice though we asked for it and the rolls were too stale. it was 3 of us from our office and we regret buying the food. I'm really disappointed, I have never thought that I will ever experience such from Nandos cause i know that you sell the best chicken in the whole of South Africa. The Nandos we went to was in Benmore in Sandton, the chicked is too over cooked and we couldnt finish it. Dont think i will ever think of buying Nandos after today.
extremely poor service
I would like to complain about the ongoing poor service we have received from Nantes, Eshowe, KZN. We often entertain clients in our boardroom and we like to order Nandos to be delivered to our company. We have had repeated bad service from this store, as the person who takes the order on the phone is virtually illiterate, and cannot hear what you're asking for. Then they have on numerous occasions sent us the wrong order or we've paid for items and not received them. Today I placed an order and was told that they would deliver after half an hour. An hour and a half later I called to find out where our food was and she said they tried to phone me but I did not answer. I asked which number she called and she gave a number that is unknown to me. When I asked her where she got the number, she couldn't tell me. They obviously didn't listen properly when I gave them my address, which she laboriously wrote down after having repeated it back and forth three times. We still don't have our lunch. Unfortunately we have decided to stop supporting this store as the service has not improved and is not likely to improve any time soon. And by looking at the number of complaints on this page, it looks like a lot of people are disgusted with the service all over the world. The problem is at a store level, but an even bigger problem is that the employees and manager don't seem to care.

I went to nandos branch in Burgersfort Tubatse crossing to buy the R30 meal and I was told I'm not allowed to choose the type of piece (leg/breast) I wanted and on the displayed pamphlet of the special is not stated, and the lady named Anna who was helping me told me this with an attitude that they were told customers are not allowed to choose as if I didn't know what I was looking for.
