delivery not delivered
Called to place a take-away delivery order. Firstly - you speak to a person whom does not have telephone manners. Cannot even hear what the person over the phone is asking me.
Place a take-away order and had to call Nando's an hour later to ask where the delivery is?
Raymond informed me that the delivery person is on his way.
Had to call Nando's again to inform them that I am now waiting almost 2 hours for my lunch - and still nothing.
Our office block is 5 minutes away - I'm happy to pay the R35 they charge on delivery... but waiting approx 2 hours?
This is also not the first time we've had problems with Nando's in Braam Fisher (Cantebury Crossing). Our firm orders platters from them for a meeting - and they say they can't deliver - because it's raining outside.
I need Nando's head office to urgently look into this specific store - as the service is terrible.
We pay for what we want !

What is the use in ordering healthy stuff from Nando's - if you can't even get them delivered to you!

takeaway and incomplete order
I visited Nandos in West Bromwich to order a takeaway for my brothers birthday. My order totalled just over £30. After a 25 minute wait for thr food, I got home to find my order did not have the peranaise dip that I had ordered and my box of spicy rice was literally empty.
This not only angered me as I was not In a position to go back to collect or complain but the box looked liked someone had literally been eating from it. My corn on the cob was burnt and in all honesty what should have been a nice meal at home ended up being a really poor experience of nandos. When it comes to food the expectations are high. Good quality and more so food to eat or is edible in the first place. I'm extremely frustrated by this and have attached images on the receipt and the practically empty box. I don't have money to give away unfortunately so would like to know what will be done about this.

I visited oribi plaza nandos which is in port shepstone, natal of which I was very disappointed. I purchased 2x 1/4 chicken meals. The chicken arrived and it was soggy and the sause was just poured over the chicken covering almost the entire plate. When I cut through the chicken it was soggy with the jellish fat, and you could see that the chicken was actually boiled and place on the grill and served. Also seeing that the order came so quickly it was obvious. I called the manager (Indian man) and complained, showing him the chicken - asking him why this was not grilled and actually boiled, he said to me that the chicken first gets popped into an oven and then over the gril. What nonsense even if it does, does all nandos chicken gets popped into an oven first? I would surely like to know and to also tell everone else, because as far as I am concerned, I paid for grilled chicken. This manager could not even be bothered, he knew that I caught him out.

I visited your Nandos in Glen Marais yesterday 25 April 2017only to find that they do not have electricity and also don't have a generator. I was then told to go to Nandos in Kempton Place. I arrived at Kempton Place and placed my order. Two 1/4 chicken, chips and a roll both breast and wing and I asked if they could prepare chicken strips in lemon and herb for my 2 year old grandson. They said YES it is possible. When I arrived home I found one breast and wing and one thy and leg and my grandson's strips was tangy tomato not suitable for a 2 year old. Unfortunately I could not drive back as the traffic on the road back to Kempton Place is an absolute nightmare late in the afternoon.

I visited the Nandos in Signet Terrace, Lenasia on Saturday (22/04/17)
On Arrival we placed our order which was, the veg, rice & halloumi, 2 x full portion giblets, 2 x chicken strips & rice, a full portion of chips, 2 x extra rolls, 2l coke and a greek salad with feta. We found a table, and soon moved as the table was not wiped off and the wall was dirty, splashed sauce and sticky stuff. We then moved to another table, but it was so dark there, that we had initially moved to another table, where our first table was. Again this was the same. the table was sticky and dirty. When the lady arrived with our food, the rolls were placed in a basket that had butter on the basket with dust, this I could see was moved from the previous dirty table. The food arrived with no cutlery and serviettes. My husband being vegetarian always orders veg rice, but was very disappointed. I tasted it, had no taste at all, dry, with no sauce, no salt and spices. I asked the waiter for the sauces, and she pointed them out to me, so that I can go and fetch it. The chicken strips and rice were cold. The kids didn't end up eating it, so as we left I asked for a takeaway box. This I waited for 10 min, eventually I went to the front desk and asked. The waiter that served me clicked her tongue and walked away.
I will never eat there again...this experience completely put me off nandos

visited nandos n1 value centre in goodwood cape town. placed an order at 18h23. my order was for 1 x chicken wrap with chips 1 x kiddies strips and chips and 1/4 chicken breast and chips with a roll and some drinks. i had a special request for the 1/4 chicken to be mild and breast and well done. the wrap, kiddies meal and drinks came very quickly the 14 chicken took upto 18h57. my husband and son finished their meals and i was still waiting. 2 male waiters at all times told me they were waiting and were very apologetic. However I eventually went to see what the problem was they eventually said they hav run out of chicken. I suggested they ask the cashier to let customers know about that as it will result in several complaints and may be directed at them. eventually at 18h57 i asked for a take away since my family had already finished their meals. i got my take away without my chips. i then went back and they took my parcel and returned it with wedges not chips not sure why as I never asked for wedges. i took it home and was even more disappointed to find the chicken not properly cooked and certainly not well done. i frequent nandos often and this time was most disappointed. my order number was 3094 table 19.

shelly beach nandos is basically a waste of time. I had to request a refund for beverages that did not come even after we completed a meal. The lady that served us said that there is only one person working. I do not require compensation but would not put my foot in a nandos store. Shelly beach nandos is pathetic and after telling my colleagues at work that said that they experienced the same.
budgies and sourdough
I visited a Nandos in Plattekloof Cape Town and it with a heavy heart that I must divulge the following-
If not three or more times a week I frequented a Nandos in Table View approximately four years ago and was obviously always extremely satisfied.
Eventually chickens became Budgies and the increased prices made up the difference. It was then that I decided to boycott Nandos. Four years later today to be precise I revisited Nandos in Plattekloof, my new home town. I ordered 1/2 chicken with 2 sides expecting the roll to be one of the choices. Well it turned out that this was not the case. What I did notice though that right at the bottom of the sales counter overhead menu on the left side, as if hidden away not to be seen was the roll price of R9.90 per roll. Not four rolls but a single roll. I was absolutely gob-smacked. Who the hell sells a mediocre sized bread roll for just under R10.00. I would still pay less in Italy. So besides still selling budgies with a smile and blaming the price of the rolls on management, I immediately felt sorry for the staff member whom probably is being cheated within his own Nandos domain. Never again.

I Radha visited Suncoast Nandos on the 17 February 2017. The meal that was ordered wasn't right. Took it back, the 2nd meal was worst than the 1st meal.The meal I suppose to receive was a vegetable wrap with either avo or haloumi. The 1st meal received was a vegetable patty with no avo or haloumi, 2nd meal received a little vegetable in a wrap with no avo or haloumi.This was the worst vegetable wrap I have eaten.

At approximately 11 oclock I called your epson downs branch on [protected] after holding on for about 8 minutes eventually call was answered then I get told line bad please call back. Of which I then did and tell the person where we are she asks for a phone number I give it to her after placing our order she says sorry we don't deliver to hurlingham but funny before that she wanted to know if it was navashnee one of our ex employees, none the less I then say please can you tell me which other branch can I try that delivers to bryanston she says benmore I then say please can you give me their number sorry she says I don't have it but here is the number for customer services. I then call customer services speak to someone says let her check after waiting 10 minutes she comes back and says sorry our system is slow plse can I have your number I will call you back okay gave no she calls back @11:50 and gives me the number closest to us that delivers guess what again epson downs and says that is the one. I call back and the lady speaks to the driver in the background and replies our driver says he does not deliver in hurlingham. The frustration
One hour later. All we wanted to do was order valentines lunch for the office I would hate to know how many clients you guys lose because of bad service.

service/expectations re: loyalty card
I'm a frequent Nando's customer--for lunch in Arlington VA, and in weekends in Woodbridge VA. I recently used a loyalty card for a free lunch in Woodbridge--two regular sides, chicken and a drink. Very nice. This week I used a full card at the location in Arlington. Very different story. I asked for chicken, garlic bread and Brussels sprouts and a drink. And I would pay the difference in the Brussels sprouts. I was asked to pay not the difference, but the whole cost for Brussels sprouts and pay for the drink. I did this, though not happy about it. But somehow the garlic bread fell off the menu. When I complained at table, the manager said he would, "just give me some.' Are your policies so different one shop to another?

I placed a telephonic order of x1 Full Pack Chicken & another half chicken only, with the Nandos Bayview, Chatsworth (Durban) store at 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 25th Nov. 2015 "for collection" I was told that it will take approx 30 mins & I arrived at the store at 7.00p.m. I was horrified to find out that my order was not ready & that the order was not even processed. I then had to do a new order as a walk in customer & had to wait 50 minutes for my order. Only left the store at 7.50 p.m. To add insult to injury, I was not given the normal full chicken as previously . I was only given the breast portions of the chicken .I phoned the store from home & was told that they only have breast pieces available. This is ridiculous ... what's the point of ordering a full chicken & why was I not told initially about this ... I could have ordered from another Nando's store in Chatsworth(There are 3 Nandos within a 5km radius of each other) This is unacceptable & I demand a full investigation into this store . Hi, I recently visited the Malvern nandos in Durban and let me just tell you that these people give nandos a bad name, the food is degusting, I just can’t believe that with the new CPA act, people still get away with taking money in exchange for bad service . I order the livers and a family meal, when I got home with the meal the chicken was still red on the bone and the livers were red on the inside, which I have never know nandos to do before ... I love my nandos it is my best meal but this was such a put off and trust me I will let every person I know, find out about my experience because this store does not know about people skills . I want my money back, I worked for it and I would have rather spent it on something I would have enjoyed .

I visited the laudium PA nandos on 29 September 2013 10H30. Ordered a full chicken and large chips and 4 x bread rolls to the value of R137, 90. Waiting time according to them was 10 minutes. after 10 minutes i asked for my order. They served me with the chicken bud not the chips. I asked for the chips and only after the potatoes were taken out of the freezer to be baked in cold oil. after 10 munites they discover that the oil was cold, machine not turned on. i was told to wait for 10 minutes. I caneclled the chips and wwas given only R20 and not the price of large chips plus minus R27. reason was that they did not have enough change to give the full amount. My email ridgard01@gmail.com
horrible chicken liver
Always took my family to Nandos at least three times a month, on Thursday the 17 th February, 2011 took my three kids to Nandos in Barking, after their drama class, and ordered one full and a quater chicken with chips, drinks and portuguesse chicken liver and roll. The chicken was like puree, too salty and very oily, basically I couldn't eat it. When I compained to the Manager he told me that the sauce is usually salty and maybe the chef put too much. I have had chicken liver there before, and that was not how it looks or tastes. I found that excuse unacceptable to pay £5.99 for rubbish food is not something I want to do during this hard financial times. I expect Nandos to send out food that is consumable. I was not impressed with the Manager's attitute.
disappointed in food quality
I just bought a burger meal from Nandos and both the roll was stale and the chicken breast was not cooked properly. I'm very concerned as a long term patron from their days in Sea Point to see quality deteriorate like this. In the last three outings to this branch Ive had problems with orders, on the first occasion I was given incorrect meal contents.

Disapointing service in Nando's Cape Town, ordered quater chicken special (Roll and Chips), No butter, Chicken over over over cooked. Chips, Fried in old fishoil, when chips golden outside and no potatoe inside, waited for 20 minutes for my food of which was standing on counter, Service pathetic.

Ever since New Management at the Nandos Camps Bay Branch:
1. Bad service (orders get mixed up and lots of delays)
2. Food cold
3. No perinaze
4. Extreme Hygiene problems (bottles and tables ridiculously dirty)
And so the list can go on and on. Bottom line, wake up guys, I am aware this is South Africa and we're not at the top of the service chain, but really now, neither are we that 3rd world country everyone keeps referring to.
I would really be ashamed to be associated with the branch - this being referenced to the Nandos food chain.
avoid nandos at all costs
I placed an order at 7pm which was for delivery from the Nandos at Sloane Square. After 35min I called them again to ask how long the food will be and I was told that the delivery guy had already picked up the order and I would have to wait as there were a lot of orders to be delivered. Eventually when the food finally arrived at 8.05pm it was so cold. I ordered the peri-peri chips but the one that was delivered was plain. Even after the food had been heated in the microwave it was tasting like rubber. And when I finally dug into the chicken I found out that it was half cooked! Firstly, if there is a delivery service been offered surely they need to make sure that the food goes out on time. Secondly, food needs to be cooked properly. Thirdly, orders need to be taken correctly. Nandos is one of those places where the prices of the meals have increased by so much and yet people still support you.
they are not competent to serve there customers
Firstly when I called in to place an order Sarah was not friendly at all, she took the order just for the sake of it. I than went to collect my food on Tuesday and wanted to pay for my meal with a voucher, the meal was more than R50 and I offered to pay the additional monies, the lady called the manager (Tayir) who said this is not possible, we either buy a meal for R50 or less but the system will not accept the voucher and additional monies, he said if I want to I must take it up with Nandos head office as they built the system like that... all good I made the full amount and left. On Friday we went to Or tambo international airport, the Nandos accepted our voucher with a smile and accepted the additional pay. I think laudium Nandos needs to go for training again as they are not competent to serve there customers.
my hunger was not cured by nandos
For a company that prides itself on a 'hot' service, it is quite sad that they cannot deliver on their brand promise. I went to Nandos across Epsom Downs in Bryantson and ordered myself a chicken wrap meal along with my friends. I placed the order at 13:19 and went to go sit down with my friends. Both my friends' food came and mine never came even after I kept on asking the waitresses on how far my order was. At 13:45, my order still had not arrived, so I went to the manager to complain. He didn't seem phased by my experience and answered a telephone call while I was standing there. He then offered to get the food for me for take-away only to realise that my order had not even been prepared. I then asked for my money and left. My do I have to go hungry for food I had paid for. Do you know how much pain you go through when your stomach is growling while your eyes are feasting on your friends' food.
