nandos silverton in pretoria ; south africa
There is a R30 meal special/birthday that is supposed to run till the end of September however each time i go to the Silverton nandos they tell it is sold out. What I don't understand is how do they finish making a 100 meals of the day within an hour I mean I go there as early as 10:30 . Please advise or intervene so that such behaviour does not occur since Nando's is such a reputable business, I am prepared to post this complaint to as many complaint website as possible.

My wife and I were just threatened to be kicked out by force by one of your managers at the restaurant in Pape Avenue (671 Danforth). I was almost served the wrong size of fries and then when I asked them to change them to the "Nando's size" we ordered and paid for the mistreatment began, the server was first refusing to help at all and treating us in a very rude matter, then I saw they mixed fries that were sitting in a plate with chicken to complete the side order we were supposed to share (I am vegetarian). After seeing this, being mistreated and still not being served our food I kindly asked the manager (Rachel T.) for a refund so that we could just leave which she refused to and said we could either leave without my money or eat since "there is nothing wrong with the food", when I asked for another manager or a number to call she starting threatened to remove us by force saying I was harassing them, I then asked them to call the police so that there were informed of the situation and to check my rights because I felt threatened and robed but they never did even when the manager kept stating they would remove us by force since it was their property (I was calmly seated as you can check in your surveillance videos).
I can provide more details, have my wife and even the store employees as witnesses, a video and other customers that could back this up if the manager (Rachel T.) decides to delete your surveillance videos. Even the other employees were trying to calm the manager, it wasn't only until a nice waiter was able to talk to her that she accepted to give us the money back. She never even spoke fully to her employees to know exactly what was going on, it was literally one hour without eating anything and with her accusing us of already eating the food which we never even received (which the nice waiter confirmed to her we never did).
We will sadly probably never even get close to any of your restaurants again but we need you to look into this and find a solution since the treatment was just awful for our first visit to a Nando's restaurant and we have videos if needed to corroborate this or to post in social media if no action is taken. This type of treatment, attitude and threatening cannot be tolerated at all, without even taking into consideration the health and safety standards of lazily attempting to mix meat contaminated fries that were meant for someone who stated clearly to be a vegetarian. I expect a formal apology, for your manager to be properly trained and a solution to be provided soon, before we are forced to request this in a more public matter which is not our intent at all.
birthday special, orders
Yesterday 05th September 2017 I called your Nandos Rivonia branch to place an order on your birthday special. I was advised that no orders for the are taken over the phone. I then drove to the branch and the special had ended for the day, the staff at the branch told me that a maximum of 10 orders can be taken per customer.
This morning 06th September 2017, I was at your Rivonia branch at10am on the dot. There were 6 people infront of me, when the first order went through we then told there is only 40 specials left. When we asked how the hell that could be we were told that they took an order of 60 meals over the phone……
Then the other 3 orders of the persons in the que ordered 23 meals – what happened to not more than 10 orders per person?
The poor driver was called to collect the order of 60 and the customers all went mad and refused the driver to take the order. Then two ladies came into the branch to collect an order while the first, s econd and third persons who were at the branch were still waiting for their order….. Obviously these people orderedover the phone.
The store manager was then packing sods in the fridge, when we all went angry and when the teller called her to speak to us - she through her hand in the air and walked away. We all shouted for her to come ou and she blankly refused. I sat there for 30minutes waiting for this manager to to resolve our complaints……. How can you have a manager like that who is unable to approucjh situations and come up with a solution. This was disgusting. What a confused nandos branch. Because of such management it destroys yoru reputation.
called your complaints line x3 times, and still waiting for someone to contact me. i was sitting at the branch waiting like an idiot, why couldn’t you tell me to leave the branch and you will contact me when a solution was found. the second time I called I was told that your complaints is still trying to get hold of the manager- i told you guys that she disappeared- cant manage pressure. find someone new. nandos poor food and management skills
I am complaining abt the quality of food ive received from your umgeni road branch. I was told yourl do not put extra hasting onto the chicken because of a new regulation have you tasted the nandos sauces recently they taste like they hve so much of viniger in it. Ive ate a numerous times at the ridge and queensburgh branches and hve neva had issues wd extra hasting. Wat os worse is ur manager can see we are unhappy bt refuses to resolve it at store level and would rather I complain to customer care my food is here and ive to eat it and be unhappy. Totally ridiculous and currently annoyed at service. Maybe url shud hve self service and we cn rather phone and complain then get feed back please do away with ur useless managers. Prior to this I did bring to notice to the manager of queensburgh that the full chicken had reheated and fresh chicken on our family platter. He said he cud promise me it was nt reheated im a house wife I do cook chicken. I know reheated and fresh chicken he walked around looking at customers when chicken came to the dinning area he was with customers not watching the chicken please train your managers ASAP tke good feedback frm stores who have excellent compliments and teach ur other stores please!
drive thru
I have been eaiting 45 min for a chicken wrap that they said wohld take 6min at montana nandos drive thru. No one is even bothered to check up on the customers and we are now a row of 7 waiting for our food. This is not the first time this nandos has been dissapointing with their drive thru service. Wont come back i'll rather go to kfc where I can at least get food within 5 min
cold chicken
Today I was at your nandos at ballito( lifestyle mall) I was with a client and he ordered a burger with chips which was great however I ordered a chicken chips and roll.
As I got to the centre of my chicken it was cold and raw I did not finish my meal as I was put off.
I did not lay a complaint with the manager/staff asI did not want to make my client uncomfortable.
I love nandos unfortunately today was not good.

I called in to place an order at 18:23 spoke to Kagiso who advised I should expect my order within 30-40 minutes.
At 19:25 I called and Tebogo answered simply telling me he didn't know how long it would take for driver to get to me.
I feed my kids around that time and they were already irritable and hungry while preparing for bed time as well.
I called at 19:35 to cancel and again Tebogo answered telling me it was fine he cancelled my order then out me on hold so I hung up.He did not have the decency to let the driver know about the cancellation, because at exactly 8pm Mr H Masangu or Masondo if I'm not mistaken knocked on my door to deliver a meal I no longer expected.needless to say he was sweet and understanding but the poor old man rode all the way for a long cancelled order.
I am complaining and unhappy because the first time this happened, my order was delivered at 21:45 and that driver refused to tun back with the food claiming he would be billed for it.
If shops are busy customers should be made aware and given a proper waiting time.

Hi, I, my boyfriend and a friend of ours had been To Nandos at 9:25pm on Monday [protected]) we than were deciding what To have, so a girl by the name of zama took down our order. She than asked us weather we were having it there or it was a take away, we told her we were having it there she than proceed To say it's so late so we told her we will eat fast trying too be polite To her she than started To say thingS in Zulu To the other employees. She even forgot To add the roll into our order. We than took our seats and got our meal were we had asked for well done food but didn't get that. After feeling so uncomfortable there we than decided To leave and had left over food so I went to ask zuma (who also served the food To Us) To give me a paper bag but before I could continue talking To her she walked away from me I than told her sorry I'm speaking To you but she just said yeah and continued walking while ignoring what I had To say. So I went to wash my hands and she was speaking about me thinking that we don't understand Zulu. She was as rude as hell too us treating us like crap. After going To Nandos all the time, this is the first time I received so crappy service, I'm so dissapointed by the service i received. This problem needs To get sorted out. Was the attitude given To us cause we went in at that time or what?

Hello, my self and my boyfriend visited the Basildon Festival Leisure Nando's at around 6pm. I don't normally make complaints like this but considering I spend a lot of money towards this company and am a regular customer I am honestly disgusted by what happened.
So we arrived, waiting time 10 minutes which was fine as I've waited longer and they're normally quite quick with waiting times so didn't think I'd be waiting long. 20 minutes later got a table. Table was under the air con and next to the window that was open. I got very cold and asked to move. Got moved and the waitress asked if we'd had our food yet and we said no she assured us that she'd get it changed. 15 minutes later we see our food being taken to our table. We sat and waited for a waitress to come past, and when one eventually did we asked how much longer our food would be, considering we'd been waiting around 45 minutes and it wasn't even busy. When we told he waitress we still hadn't received our food she said she'd go and see what's going on, another waiter then came to us and questioned us and asked for our receipt to prove what we had ordered and questioned how long we'd been waiting. We showed our reciept and said they'd go and get it, assuring the food would be cooked fresh. Literally no more than a minute later our food came over, my boyfriends butterfly chicken was stone cold, as were the chips. They changed this and I then found my double wrap had no chilli jam in it, I told the manager who then changed this aswell but came back and it wasn't double chicken only single, by this time I was fed up and hungry so just ate it anyway. I used my red reward that I had been saving up for to help with the cost of the meal and okay I had got it for free but had to change both meals but we waited over an hour for our food and in the end we didn't even eat together! My meal came to £21.65 and the red reward coming to £11.30! I want something in return for waisting my money and time otherwise I won't be returning to Nando's!

On the 24-08-2017 we went for lunch at Nandos Brooklyn and the teller was awesome. Unfortunately we were'nt given an option of what portion of chicken we wanted to order leg/breast. When the order came it was a breast and a leg portion of which i asked the waiter if we could please have 2 breast portions as we were'nt given the option. He said he would ask the manager and was promptly told no, we must stick to what we received.
when we called the manager she gave us such attitude and we then cancelled the order and had to leave. It shudders me to think that a person of her position to be so unprofessional and uncouthed. Please can this matter be given the necessary attention it deserves.

chicken livers full portion
I ordered chicken livers from the Sandown Branch in Parklands Cape Town via Delivery Xtreme.
When I opened the FULL Portion I had received what looked less than a starter. I did not want to ring Delivery Xtreme as it took them 1 hour and 45 minutes to deliver my food.
I am seriously, disappointed as I order on a weekly basis and before I left it, but I would be pleased if this matter can be resolved. Going to the branch does not help either. I have ordered chicken burgers and requested no mayo and when arriving at home I would find the total opposite. The chips on the other hand is another story. I have counted as many as eight chips in a pack.
If you value your brand I suggest someone goes to this branch and seriously sorts it out.

I'm so furious about Nandos faerie Glen delivery service. I called around 13h07 to place and order and requested delivery. They told me it might take 20mn to 1hr because it's busy, cool I understood that. But it took longer than that. I had to use my airtime to call the store around 14h15 to find out if there was any problems coz I still didn't receive my order. As I'm typing now it's 14h57 and still waiting, mind you I called for the second time and the manage told me there was a misunderstanding and mixed up about orders the delivery guy had to go back. But no one cared to call me or explain and I'm expected to pay for Delivery? This is [censor]. By the way I'm still waiting ð²

I'm extremely disgusted at Moniqua at nandos long street in cape town. Her refusal to give an extra sachet of peri sauce left me astonished and dumb-founded. I offered to pay for a extra sachet off peri sauce and was told its not for sale. Her arrogance and attitude left me not enjoying my meal, quality of the food was well below standard to say the least. safe to say I will not be returning to nanados.

Tonight I went to nandos Charlestown and order a large 4 tenders meal with perri chips and a dinner roll. When my meal arrived, I had received a small instead of a large chips and pitas instead of my dinner roll. When told, they did not offer the difference in money for the pita and the dinner roll and did not upsize my chips like I had ordered. The dinner roll I received was also cold.

Hello, I have had 3 terrible experiences at Nando's in National Harbor, Maryland. Extremely rude staff and filthy conditions. Tables dirty and bathroom was deplorable. There was also hair in the nut dish on the counter. The manager was completely unqualified and unbothered by the rude cashier who threw my receipt at me. Up until recently I have always had very pleasant experience at this location. I suggest you check the management and the employees. wrong order and stale chicken

Yesterday I bought nandos at maponya mall, it was the r199.00 order that comes with a full chicken. The rolls were very fresh I applaud them on that but the chicken was tasteless, it didn't have any flavor, it taste like it was an old chicken. We coudln't eat it as we were not enjoing it. Has the nandos changed the flavor, this is a horrible degrade, I am not happy about the food I bought yesterday

I went into nandos and did 3 purchases.
Attached firstly is the receipt and some pictures of what the good looked like.
The burger was firstly to one side with half the stuff not in it and dry. We asked for extra sauce in it and to be mild which was not done.
The spicy rice had 3 pieces of chicken and dry yet again I asked for extra sauce.
We stay about 45 minutes to 1 hour away from the name is and no way at that time was I going to drive.
I called the store endless times and no one could help me.
The service and food is really disappointing and further more who can eat food like that.

firstly what we asked for we were told we could not have which was a 1/4 chicken and chips as a meal and a chicken pita with a side serve of salad the girl told us that the salad could only come if it was in a meal so we changed our order to be a 1/4 chicken and the salad as a meal and the chicken pita to have the chips, what we were served was what we ask for in the first place the tiny little 1/4 chicken and chips and the chicken pita and the salad the second thing was the state of the store the coverings on all the bench seats were ripped and looked like they were old and untidy to me it looked dirty. I lam a local in the area and now will travel to another store further away and hope the service is a lot better and the place cleaner for if i have the same problem again i will never eat in a nando's shop ever again

extra hot chicken purchased at nandos n1 city value center
Nandos is my favourite take-out, however purchasing lunch for my husband & I yesterday at N1 City drive through I was terribly disappointed. Upon arriving back at my office, I plated my order. The chicken was dry & precooked & definitely not grilled in extra hot sauce. It tasted & looked like the chicken had been preroasted & the sauce was dispensed in the packet.
This is not normal for Nandos
