So, I had this experience with Nexum Group Inc. and let me tell ya, their collection managers are just plain rude. I mean, seriously, who in their right mind calls someone 'stupid' over the phone? It's just not cool, man.

I mean, seriously, I don't even have a house, so how on earth am I supposed to have a fence? It's Mary who owns the whole shebang, house and fence included. I'm telling you, this is some major mix-up. They better fix this mess and remove that collection pronto. No ifs, ands, or buts about it!

I own a company out-of-state and I hired Nexum Group to help us get money from a customer who owed us. The boss, Mike, was really good at getting back to us and acting professional. He settled our account in just 2 weeks even though the bill was 6 months late. They even managed to get us some extra money for the late payment. We're really pleased with the service we got from Nexum Group and we would totally recommend them.

Got TWO phone calls about some person's debt that I don't even know. TWO calls on my personal cell phone, which is from another state. I don't know this person, but Leticha claimed she could do a skip trace and called my number because it showed up on my personal cell phone - seriously? Isn't this breaking the Fair Debt & Collection Act? Oh, and when I asked, they also gave the Nexum Group the wrong address info. Sketchy, really sketchy.

I also got a problem with a medical bill. This lady named Lateesha was not nice when she first talked to me. She was mean and talked down to me like she was trying to scare me. When I tried to explain, she interrupted me and said, "You're just mad 'cause you can't handle the truth." I used to work in collections, and this is not how things should be done. She even hung up on me.

I got this problem with my account that went to this company Nexum Group Inc. It was for a medical bill that was in the process of appeal with my insurance. When I called and talked to Leetasha, she was really rude and disrespectful. I asked for a bill or invoice, but she said she didn't have to send me one 'cause she wasn't billing me. She told me to figure it out myself and just hung up. So, they expected me to pay thousands of dollars without any paperwork. Does that sound right to you? I work in customer service every day, and this is really bad service and seems super shady to me. I guess I'll have to argue with the credit reporting about the collection 'cause they're more reasonable.

After spendin' hours searchin' for someone new, Nexum just fell right into my lap. Mike been real helpful and accommodatin'. I run operations for a few businesses so I'm always on the go, and I ain't never bothered by all them calls from this agency. They take the account and run with it real fast to get it paid. I appreciate Mike and his team workin' so hard to collect our funds we desperately need in this uncertain time. Make the right choice. Choose Nexum Group to handle all your past due accounts. I just got a call from a super rude agent. I told her I never heard of the CE Shop and was curious what it is. She called me a liar and said she talked to me before. It wasn't me, it was someone else with a similar name (not uncommon). Before I could ask more questions, she hung up and said she'll put it on my credit. No big deal 'cause it's not mine anyway. I was more annoyed with how mean and unwilling she was to clear things up. It's sad that people are still so mean in today's world. Do you really think people want to owe? Do you think people want you to call and be rude in this climate? The world needs more empathy, and if people showed it, more could be accomplished. I was shocked that she was so rude trying to collect money now. You'd think she'd have a little more compassion for whoever she called, maybe she'd get more out of people. I hope she's not on commission. She was TERRIBLE as a PERSON!

April last year, I had an account in collections, which led to lots of calls from this collections agency. I started working with someone from the agency, and we set up a payment plan. After a month or two, I paid off the balance completely and was ready to continue my classes. However, there was a small issue that remained... the agency didn't inform my school that the balance was paid. So, I called them for about 5 business days but couldn't reach anyone, which was funny because when I owed them money, they wouldn't stop calling me! Anyway, on the 6th day (after the weekend), I finally spoke with the owner, Mike ***, and let me tell you, I've never been treated so rudely in my life! Mike made me feel like a bother, rushed me off the phone, and even sent me an email where he continued to describe me as a nuisance. Just one phone call with him left me feeling drained. All I wanted was to continue my courses before the deadline. So, I wrote a review about Mr. because I didn't think it was professional or necessary for him to speak to me that way. I also felt like I shouldn't have had to keep calling the company to get them to communicate with their client. The very next day after I posted the review, he called me and started SCREAMING at me because of the review I made on this website. Strangely, the review disappeared after I posted it the first time, so now I'm writing it again and also reporting my new experiences with Mike ***. Before ending the call the second time, he made sure to mention that he would "do me a favor" and remove the derogatory account from my credit line. However, because of the review, he would leave the account open to negatively impact my credit score. To this day, the balance is paid, but the account remains open because the owner holds a grudge against me for calling him out on his rude behavior. If this person had treated me or my situation with empathy or professionalism, I wouldn't be going out of my way to seek action against him. But this owner's pettiness continues to affect me even a year later, and I believe something should be done about it.
