I have been a member since January. I am happy with the program. I am losing weight steadily. However, I few months ago my order came completely defrosted. The food was ruined. I called and they told me a had to get rid of that whole box of food. Which I wasn't happy about and ordered a new box. Then this month it happened again. I was was so upset. Of course they told me the same thing. Get rid of the food myself. And they would reorder. I just got the replacement box this morning. I was afraid to open it. Would you believe there was no ice in it. The top desserts were melted but I saved the rest of the box. I don't know what to do. If you were me would you continue with Nutrisystem? Or move on. Bad customer service, diet didn't work, refused shipping co
Diet was not working so I canceled. They send me box anyways, so I call and try to process a refund. I waited for an hour to get through to someone. Finally, I reach someone and she puts me on hold again for another 30 minutes. Then they refuse to pay for my shipping costs to send their product back. Then they lie and say it should only be 20$ for me to return yah right.. Try $60 for their mistake and the hassle they put me through. I would never recommend nutrisystem to anyone!

Unauthorized credit charges
I signed up for Nutrisystem in January. I was not at all pleased with the quality of the food so I cancelled our subscription and told them not to send the second shipment because it would be thrown away and go to waste. I had to pay for this food and accepted that.
Nutrisystem has continued to charge me $125 via paypal for services I did not ask for, food I did not receive and despite the fact that I have already had to cancel a second time and receive a refund. I am tired of having to spend excessive amounts of time on hold on the phone to even speak to a representative, and to have that time completely wasted with additional charges to my account even after I have made myself clear!

I made a agreement on line for the nutrasystem for men bogo program. With buying 1 month and getting 2nd month free. You sent me the beginning package and 1 other frozen canister . unauthorized credit card charges
On 1/5/2020 we ordered their advertised two months for the price of one. The second months supply arrived on 2/2 with a bill showing what they put on our credit card. Contact was made with customer service, that said we did not order the two for one then they tried to upsell more! This is fraud "bait and switch" a tactic used by sleezy merchants. Everthing was canceled but from what I have read that is hard to do.

I received the package few days later, and gave it a try. I was unable to consume the dry food provided.
I grew up cooking everything from scratch. The Nutrisystem food was all boxed, with long shelf life, and I struggled with the idea of pouring hot water over food that stays in a cupboard for months, and then it becomes "fresh" in about 90 seconds. There were also too many "sweets" (cookies and bars) and lots of chocolate items. I prefer salty over sweets, and I dislike plain chocolate.
On 11/22 @10:21 I called customer service to terminate Nutrisystem.
It was a long process of getting in touch with customer service. In any case, I was transferred from
Larry to Kadija from client services for even longer wait.
When I got in touch with client services I was told that I cannot terminate my participation after ONE shipment, because I would have to pay a $125 fine. (I have no idea why, but that's how businesses are run, correct?)
In other words, there is no "money back guarantee"
I was asked to stay in the program, and just have November shipping delayed instead. I declined, of course. I specified that since this is NOT working for me at all, it doesn't make sense to order a second shipping.
I was then Informed that the only option I have is to return the remainder of the dry food, and get a full refund.
That sounded reasonable. It doesn't work, you get your money back! Honest and customer oriented.
So, Kadija from client services informed me that the return will take:
-5-7 days to get there and be processed.
-Refund would take 7-10 days to post back into my credit card
-I will be charged $19.95 for shipping back the remainder of the dry food
-the total refund will be $206.93 when the dry food is received and the return is processed.
-I will receive a FedEx printing label to use for returning the box (which I received).
-I Dropped off box with the remainder of dry food (at least about 2 weeks worth) to FedEx in Walgreens around 15:00 on Friday, November 22nd, 2019.

While I was waiting for the dry food to be received, processed, and the refund of $206.93 be posted back into my card, I received A SECOND PACKAGE.
The first package had not been processed, although the return was 11/22. And the second package that I declined receiving when I spoke with the client services, was shipped anyway, and my card was charged.
I called again on 12/06/2019 @08:48
and spoke with Oksana.
I was told that when I called on 11/22 to "terminate the Nutrisystem" and return the dry food for refund, I terminated the order. Not my account!
My order (shipping package) was different from My account. I requested not to have food shipped, but I did not request to terminate my account. (It sounds confusing to me, but it could be part of the small print?)
I was informed that the dry food I shipped back on 11/22, did not arrived in 5-7 days as I was told, but instead only arrived on 12/5.
I asked Oksana to terminate anything that has to do with Nutrisystem, and anything that would allow Nutrisystem to use my card.
In other words, terminate the account, and terminate shipping.
I was told by Oksana that I have no further orders, no more account. Both terminated now.

I was told that 14 days from 12/5 I will be refunded 236.91 (full payment-the box was send back unopened) by December 19th.
I received another fedex label for the second shipping that came automatically.
I took the unopened package to the same Fedex location (see address above) that very day, 12/6 at aprox at 10:00.
I was told by Oksana that the unopened box will take another 7-14 days to "be received and processed", and the entire amount of $226.93 will be returned to my visa.
On December 31st, 2019 I was still waiting for BOTH payments to be posted back on my visa.
The first amount from 11/22/2019 is expected to be $206.93. That is because I was charged a shipping fee for returning my first partially used package.
The second amount should be full amount $226.93 because the box was shipped to me after I clearly stated on 11/22 that I am not interested in receiving further shipments. The box was unopened.
I have been patient and trusted that this total of $433.86 will be deposited back into my visa in reasonable time. However, unfortunately, this is not the case.
I am asking for assistance to resolve this unpleasant situation as soon as possible.
I am looking for other options of getting my money back if this was intended to take advantage of clients, collect money and ignore the customers wishes.
Please direct me towards one of the supervisors that can look into this situation and resolve it.

The company is refusing to cancel my order. They failed to send me my second shipment. 10 days after not receiving the order that was scheduled to ship I contacted the company to cancel the order because they didn't fulfill their end of the contract. I was under the impression the customer service person I was speaking to had cancelled the order. It was a week later that I saw a charge on my credit card for 125.00. I called the company and spoke to customer service again. I asked immediately for a supervisor. The representative Bria told me that she had full authority to make any changes to my account and i didn't need a supervisor. When I went over the details above she said she couldn't help me and that her supervisor was in a meeting. she said she would email her supervisor I asked to be copied on the email, she refused. I asked her to send me an email documenting what she had just told me. she said she would and I have not received it yet. This company is deceptive and runs on bad faith. DO NOT PURCHASE from this this company. I do not expect this company to do the right thing. I will contact my credit card company and submit fraud claim.

nutrisystem - frozen orders arriving melted
The last two frozen orders from Nutrisystems have arrived late and are completely melted. I have been on the phone so many times the last couple of weeks with Nutrisystems about this. I receive emails that my food has been ordered and has been picked up by Fed EX and then the order appears to get lost in space at Fed Ex and message will say no scheduled.delivery. I live in the vicinity and there is nothing going on weather wise or otherwise to delay the shipments. THERE HAS TO BE A SUPERVISOR ON HAND THAT CAN HANDLE ISSUES LIKE THIS WHEN THEY ARISE. Instead you get a smart [censored] customer service agent named Cory who was so unhelpful and had an attitude. I would like a refund and will take my business to Jenny Craig.

Hello, i've been on the program for 4 years when I first started the program I was so excited didn't know if this was for me. After trying the program for a month I lost 20 lbs I decided to continue on years went i'm still losing I reached my goal i'm size 2, 3 132lbs. Last year I sent in some before& after photos I wanted to share my success but I never seen my pictures along with everyone else I feel so hurt by it, I worked hard to get where im at today this the thanks I get. I called customer no response. I wanted to share my sucess story just like others, all the time and effort they promised my picture will be posted, maybe a commercial I was let down. This is not how to treat a loyal customer. I want to refer my family, friends i'm not sure. Arkansas needs needs to represent positive life styles as well.

I received an order from nutrisystem a week ago, Opened a can of Beef stew and it had a maggot coming out of it. That was so shocking . I have not heard from nutrisystem about this problem It's been 4 days since Italk to customer service . I need to know what action they are planning on taking on this issue. I decided it was time to make a change. I took a leap and spent over $300 on what I thought was something i could cancel anytime. I called today to cancel and was told i signed up for at least a 2 month subscription. I dont recall seeing this anywhere and if i had i wouldnt have signed up. I have 5 children and this is an absolute ripoff. I cant afford this and the woman on the phone could care less. The food is all dehydrated garbage and I'm doing better just eating healthier. Now I have a closet full of food that will last the apocalypse and more on it's way! This will drain my bank account. Very unsatisfied.

not enough food delivered
It's February 18th as I write this. I'm assuming a 28 day food supply cycle so, if I received my first delivery on the 4th of January and my second delivery in time to last until at least March 4th then why, if I have religiously stuck to the schedule, do I only have 4 dinners, 5 lunches and 6 snacks left in my box until my next delivery comes. If I'm going to pay almost $15 a day for 28 days worth of food then I expect 28 days worth of food to show up at my door. The way I see it you people owe me the better part of $100 back for my last shorted order.

They shipped my food out a day earlier than my email stated it would be shipped. This after I called a month earlier to cancel and they only postponed my delivery. The Rep obviously didn't listen to me that day. And then when I called after I got the email that my food was being shipped the rep that night stated I was wrong in my shipment date. fraudulent activity — stolen card used to purchase nutrisystem
My daughter, who lives in Texas, had her credit card information stolen and the thief purchased a number of things under her name (almost $1000 of merchandise!) My daughter was able to report the fraud and contact the retailers and send the items back to them. However, some of the items were shipped to my address in NY. I was able to return everything but a large box of Nutrisystem food. Both my daughter and I contacted them REPEATEDLY--we were on hold for long periods and when we reached people they gave us the runaround and didn't know how to advise us. All I wanted was for them to come to collect their merchandise. The card has already been reported as stolen, so they won't be getting paid, so I figure they will want their product back--right? Instead, they are making it very hard for my daughter and me to do the right thing! It's very frustrating.

I have the same problem. My elderly father's card was being used for almost a year. We didn't notice until recently because he has been in and out of the hospital. People at Nutrisystem told me the items were shipped to my dad's address. He has been living with me for 2 1/2 years. I went to his old address that is vacant and found 3 Nutrisystem boxes were sitting on his porch. I would like to ship these back and my dad given back his money. Obviously, this seems to be some type of scam and Nutrisystem must be aware of it If I'm not the only person this has happened to.

I am/was a new customer. I placed an order off of their website 2 days ago. It cost me 400.00 I picked the uniquely yours plus. It is the newest plan. Unaware because the website does not tell you this, but the "uniquely you" plan is only 249.99 for new customers. And the only thing different I was told when I called 4 different times was that there wasn't any shakes included with the uniquely you plan. That is a 150$ difference for just shakes. I called the company the next day to explain my situation as a new customer that I was not aware of the deal. I was told by a friend of the 249.99 special. The first woman I spoke to basically said oh well your not considered a new customer any more there's nothing I can do for you. I called back today this morning, spoke with another woman.. Very very rude woman that actually got very loud with me and told me.. Her exact words "well it's not my fault you ordered off the website and didn't call the 800#!" I said you have got to be kidding me. I said, I just ordered 400$ worth of food from your company and there's nothing you can do for me? She said the 250$ promotion is for new customers and your not a new customer anymore? I said.. I am a new customer.. I haven't received my first order yet I just placed it 2 days ago. She very rudely she said I am going to transfer you to another department.. Then click.. Paul is on the phone.. Starts out polite.. As was I with each one of them. He says to me that the 250$ promotion is only for existing customers not new ones. I said what? I said paul.. The other customer rep just told me it was only for new customers.. I said one of you don't know your job to well. At this point I am boiling inside.. Doing my best to stay calm. So I said to paul I think I may just cancel my order. His response was.. Ok. I can't believe you are not willing to do anything for a new customer. Then I asked.. What if I cancel my order and place a new one will I get the promotion? He said, well you'd have to send back all the food.. You can keep the frozen food and I can't guarantee that you will be able to order again as a new customer. I said ok.. If I cancel will I get a full refund? He said yes. I said ok.. Maybe i'll just not except the package and have it sent right back. He said you can do what you want. End of conversation. I went to my email to look up nutrisystem and what do I have.. A new email from nutrisystem/paul. He cancelled my order! I never gave him permission to cancel my order. I don't know what kind of qualification you must have to be in customer service for nutrisystem but they must not be very good ones. Had I bothered to look up reviews for nutrisystem before hand I probably wouldn't have ordered in the first place. They have 1 star everywhere I looked for their customer service reviews. It's very sad.

My October frozen order was delivered to front office of my apartment - which I can't access because of work hours. Previous months were delivered to my doorstep. When I finally got it everything is spoiled.
I called Nutrisystem and the person said he would have a replacement order shipped and guaranteed the shipping label would state to deliver it on my doorstep.
While I waited for the replacement shipment I had to purchase food from the grocery store and that upset my monthly $ budget.
The order arrived on a Saturday, again to the front office, while I was at work. I called Fed Ex and was told by Victor in San Salvador that it wasn't their problem because there were no special instructions on the label. I left work early today to get it (loss of pay). I open it up and the dry ice is gone and everything is thawed and/or melted. The labels (all three of them) have no special instructions to deliver it to my doorstep (I've taken a picture of them as proof).
I call Nutrisystem and speak to Tiffany. Her solution is to get a new address. What, does she expect me to move in the next two weeks to accommodate Nutrisystem? She keeps telling me to call Fed Ex and keep telling her I already did. I tell her to cancel my account and she transfers me to "Cancellation" dept. The volume on the phone is extremely high and I feel like I'm being yelled at...then she coughs into the phone, not once but twice. The sound explodes in my ear. I now have a pounding headache. She becomes offended when I ask her not to cough into the phone because of the volume.
To say I'm disappointed in your company is putting it mildly. I used to sing your praises, but those days are over. I will be very honest with those I talk to and correspond with about my experience.

nutrisystem program
I contacted Nutrisystem to begin one of their programs. It was expensive, around $400. You choose food going by the pictures they offer, but what you receive is not what you are shown. It took about 2 weeks to get the stuff. Two large boxes arrive. A large cooler with dry ice for the freezer stuff and a large cardboard box with the other stuff. They give you a lot of little packages. Some of the food tastes okay, but many of the items are dry and unappetizing. The first week they give you items, like muffins which are very small and dry. The snacks are also dry and tasteless. Many of the things they give you taste, like cardboard. I kept telling myself that the food was overpriced, for what you received. I could replicate what they gave me, by going to the store and purchasing it for 1/3 - 1/2 the price. They give you a small breakfast, a little larger lunch and a larger dinner. I always have heard you should eat portions in the opposite direction. A large breakfast and ending with a small dinner. That is how I have lost weight in the past. In this case it is backwards. Clearly, the food is just small portions, which anyone can create on their own. You don't need to pay this company $400 for 4 weeks or $100 a week. I withdrew my next order after 2 weeks, but missed the 14 day cut-off. So, I will be billed another $125 for not going eight weeks. I wanted to return all the extra products I received, so I had to call a certain number. I was on hold for one hour. This is mentioned by other reviewers, which is inconvenient. I had to wait no time to order, but a lot of time to cancel. This is bad business. They clearly hire a ton of people to take your order and few to cancel the order to return it. So, I canceled online, but I still needed to return the stuff and get a label, for $19.99. So, I added the a-la-carte price of all the stuff I was sending back, which will be less than what they return to me in two weeks and it came to $282.61. The tiny little bars were priced at $2.75, which is a very big rip-off. Their chocolate cake, $3.05. The nutri-chocolates are $2.75. The nutri-pro powder is almost $80.00. All of this stuff is way overpriced and they know it. Anyone can replicate what they send to you, anyone! You can buy it at any overpriced health food store or any grocery store. In the freezer section, they have dinners that have the same calories that their food has. They are larger portions, so eat half of them! Their caloric content maybe 240, but you can cut them in half and end up eating 120 during a meal versus Nutrisystem's 240 calories. When you have high protein drinks on your own, they fill you up and your hunger is satisfied. They have the same thing, but their pricing is so inflated. Try alternate venues to losing weight, Nutrisystem is not necessarily the answer to your dilemma. They do not hold the key to losing weight. They are a very unfortunate choice to losing weight, so many people are convinced that this is the one

unauthorized credit card charges
I was charged by nutrisytem twice without my consent. I was charged $412.96 on 6/1/2018 the first time and then reimbursed only $392.97 on 6/11/2018, I was shorted $19.99. Then thinking they realized it was a false charges it wouldn't happen again...
Nope I was charged another $412.96 on 6/22/2018. Now down $432.95
I called my bank canceled my card. My bank said I must resolve it myself with the company to get my money back. I have called several times. What dumbfounds me is this...
Customer Service only can help you with orders. If this problem arises you cannot talk to a different department with a live person. They send in a Form to operations with unauthorized credit card and personal info. Then as as I see it it goes into the abyss. You cannot check on it, no reference #, no time limit on how long it takes, nothing. The customer service has no way to help you. Trust me I asked and they were helpless.
I want my money back is all I ask. But there is no way of contacting them on the matter.
I think nutrisystem's practice of email only, no contact names or #'s, no follow up is very clever then no one is liable of anything because they have no paper trail.
I had no invoice, no account created, never received products but they took my money anyway.
Nutrisystem's sales rep said that operations would contact my bank, that hasn't happened. My bank said that isn't proper procedure they are supposed to contact me.
So now I sit and wait? Disappointed with business practice on top of I think I won't receive my money back.
It took a while, but I'm grateful that I received my money back today. I appreciate it.

As I stated before and still standing, customer service would not and could not help me. So I'm just getting passed around.
While I cannot pay bills because you have my money. For a second, I thought I was going to get some where.
deceptive advertising promotions - beware!
If you have used Nutrisystem in the past and now see these promotions for trying it again, beware. The program has changed and they now give you less food for the same price and make you take more shipments than you may want.
The new program is now only six days, not the seven days you got in the past. The first week is a prepackaged food box that they choose (I'm sure it is low selling food they want to get rid of.) You have to take two shipments (that's two months) even if you decide you did not like it. If you decide to cancel after 14 days they charge you $125. If you send it back before the 14 days you have to pay to ship the unused product back. If you decide to take the second shipment, the cost is much more than the first shipment.
My suggestion would be to just buy frozen meals from you supermarket and single serve snacks.
You are scamming people and should be ashamed. Look at all the complaints and you will see how deceptive your practices are.
