not receiving tickets for the event
I purchased tickets in October of last year. I was then informed tickets will be sent to me via email on or before March 23rd 2018. On March 23rd still no tickets.. so I called and the customer service rep states to me ... oh they r being printed off right now... you will have the tickets sent to you today. Well did not get them. I have sent numerous emails since then as well as phone calls... still no tickets. They have changed my dates for receiving my tickets 3 times. Then I'm told I will get my tickets day of concert which is March 25th. Well it is March 25th and still no tickets. I then get an email from online city tickets that the seller will have them out by 12:am March 25th... still no tickets. I have made several phone calls requesting my tickets as well as emails and for some strange reason I can't seem to have these tickets sent to me. The concert has been cancelled and all i want is my tickets for the rescheduled date. I dont want to go through any more hassles with this company. I paid for our tickets just please send me my tickets.
scammed me out of $203 for concert tickets.
Bought 3 tickets on December 1st. I didn't realize I was buying third-party as I had gone on the venue site and purchased by seat (guess Online City Tickets relists there by seat). Here we are - March 15th, the day before my event. My email confirmation told me that I would get my tickets on or before March 14th. I didn't by 7PM on March 14th, so I called. First rep told me, "wait until the end of the day. Call in the morning if they're not there." They weren't, called again. Second rep told me, "The venue is running on a 48 hour delay with the tickets, you should get them by 3PM!" A blatant lie - next I called the venue that I'd be attending for this event and they said, "nope. We don't have anything to do with third party sellers or orders." Great! Called another time, at 3PM. Third rep says, "Well, I can't see where your seller is located. Maybe 3PM for them is 6PM for you." Uh, what? True, but whatever, I guess I'll wait even though none of you know what you're talking about. Meanwhile each rep asked me a different thing for confirmation (last 4 card digits, zip code associated, email...) At nearly 6PM, I called the number for them listed on the Better Business Bureau site. Got the manager, Roberto. He tells me that the emails don't give a time frame, only a date, and that my event is tomorrow, so they have until then to be sent to me. I tell him he shouldn't have his company send an email months in advance saying I'll get them by such-and-such date but still not receive them nearly two days later when it's been four months! They should know who they're working with and be able to tell me where their sellers are, no wonder they're not reputable at all! They don't care! They have a lot of crappy terms & conditions and I have seen a lot of other people's reviews and complaints about no refunds, so if I don't get my tickets, and then after that if I don't get a refund, I'm seeking legal action. Enough is enough with this company. Maybe I'll even get the attorney general involved, because this is ridiculous. I spent way too much on these tickets to let it go - and my mother bought tickets at the box office for less than half of what I paid on this site! Then I pretty much paid the price for 4 tickets instead of 3 because of how much their service fee is (ridiculous. You're emailing them to me)... Tell everyone you know to double check their third party purchases or just simply go to the box office themselves! Will not make this mistake again!

Bought tickets for elton john. Order # [protected]. Not only was it not clear that the tickets were in us $ for canadian tickets (accessed through their misleading (fake0 centre bell web site), costing $991 for two $124 tickets, but they added charges to my card after the fact (travel insurance?!).

This is a ticket reseller that you are led to by apparently valid concert venue web sites that are fake, but appear first when you search for tickets. Looking for elton john tickets for the bell centre in montreal? Rather than seeing the legitimate site (centrebell. Ca) the first site that comes up is ‘centre. Bellmontreal.com', which leads you to onlinecitytickets.com. The legitimate site, when you later call them in vain to complain about being defrauded, will tell you of the hundreds of calls they receive due to this scam. Name your venue, the story is repeated (e.G. Aircanadacentre. Toronto.com)
And when you buy the tickets (these are usually real), you will find that you are paying four times the ticket price. You will find that - surprise, you didn't read the terms and conditions fully! - the prices are in us dollars, in case you thought you were buying in your own currency. And you will find subsequent charges to your credit card, now that they have it ("what, you did not want travel insurance from us?"). On the (only) bright side, your credit card company should credit these subsequent fraudulent charges, but you are on the hook for the original purchase.
If you wish to experience even more frustration, call their ‘customer service'. You will get nowhere, but will hear the phrase ‘you agreed to our terms and conditions' as many times as is humanly possible, regardless of what you said to them. And don't ask for their supervisor, you are talking to them. And their manager. They are the only person there, apparently.
But they do have a sense of humor: if you stay on with them long enough, they will offer you a $50 credit towards your next purchase! Mind you, if you are dumb enough to take that offer, you were not smart enough to look at this review. As it is, I hope you have looked at this review before you bought. My sympathies if it is after the fact. Once bitten - check reviews before you buy, next time.

[censor] onlinecitytickets, lead me on for two weeks telling me don't worry you guaranteed you will get your tickets only to [censor]ing tell me at the last [censor]ing minute after I drove two hours with my 6 year old son first event sitting on side of road for you to tell me you are guaranteed your money back... You are a [censor]ing scam! Sell event & parking tickets and only send event tickets [censor] you! Telling everybody about onlinecitytickets!
elton john concert tickets
I wanted elton john concert tickets in toronto, on, canada. So I searched in google, this company popped up. I checked the site, they seemed to have tickets. I was able to select where I wanted to he seated, for a certain price. I went ahead with the purchase but I noticed the service fees where pretty high - price of a ticket. I was skeptical about getting them. At that moment I accidentally pressed enter when I really wanted to do a search about the company. I tried to get a hold of the so-called online support team twice right away to no avail. Called them finally, it still had been less than 24 hours, apparently I couldn't cancel them despite the fact that the tickets aren't even on sale yet in toronto! (it was apparently written in fine print that cancellations aren't possible) but in a second email from the company, it said something about being able to cancel. Ya right, this is not possible with this company. Misleading info! Horrible service, horrible company. Never again!
fake tickets / fraudulent sale
On wednesday 24 january, 2018, my daughter (courtney marie) bought four tickets for the elton john final tour concert from onlinecitytickets.com which were listed in section 302 and 304 at philips arena in atlanta ga. There are no 300 level sections for this concert.
Courtney marie called me on thursday 25 january, 2018, because she was concerned that she was ripped off because when she went to the phillips arena website the section onlincitytickets listed didn't exist for this concert.
On or about 6pmest thursday 25 january 2018, we called the onlinecitytickets customer service (#custserv) number [protected]. We explained the situation to #custservrep1 who placed us on hold then came back and said they had a computer "glitch" and the tickets did not exist. They refused to make a refund for the fake tickets and we escalated to #custservsup1. Same explanation and no resolution but said they would contact courtney marie or me via telephone call by noon the following day.
No one called on friday but they did send an email stating the #custserv department was aware of the situation and would contact us with a resolution.
On or about 6pm friday 26 january 2018, I called the 800 number again and got the exact same run around. When I asked for a physical address to send legal correspondence, they said they could not give out any information (according to a woman who said her name was john also fake).
So no tickets and no refund.
advertised priced not honored
I purchased two tickets to see Shen Yen at Broward Performing Arts on Tuesday January 9, 2019 at about 10AM from OnlineCityTickets.com. The two tickets cost me $127.01 and i received an email with my receipts and their recording when i was placed on hold says that their tickets are final, and guaranteed by the seller. At about 12:29 PM two hours after i made my purchased i got a call from a representative that the tickets i paid for were a mistake and that they could not honor the "guaranteed price" They made a mistake on their website and i was able to purchase the two tickets for $127.01 but they are NOT AVAILABLE?. They realized their mistake then cancels my two tickets and changed the prices on their website to $304.49 within seconds. I spoke to the Supervisor Ashurina who refused to give me her name or her manager's name when i asked her for it three times. She said they can only issue me a refund for the inconvenience and issue a $50 credit. However, they made a mistake and refused to honor the transaction (Sale) that was final because the money was already taken from my bank account. I got the same tickets for $127...then cancel my order and now want me to pay $304.49 for the same tickets

I purchased tickets for an event, but had not yet received the tickets. The event was scheduled to begin in 45 minutes, and so I contacted customer support. They told me there was nothing they could do at first, and that the seller had not yet sent the tickets, but they would be arriving. At this point, I was panicking.
I asked the customer service representative if this was normal, and they said no, then laughed. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was condescending and rude, and never offered me any resolution. I had to offer him solutions to see if he could provide me alternative tickets, as I knew the tickets were still available online.
He said yes, and while I was waiting for the tickets to arrive in my email to confirm, I was explaining to him how upset I was. He hung up on me. I called customer service back, because at that time, I had not yet received the tickets. While I was on the phone, I opened the tickets up in my email, but at that point, wanted a refund. They told me because I had opened the email, that I was unable to get a refund. At this point, the event was to begin in 10 minutes, and it would be impossible for me to get there on time.
They hung up on me again.
I still have not resolved this issue, and I cannot now attend an event. My new years eve plans have been ruined, and I have been held at the mercy of your company.
The customer service manager who hung up on me twice was named John, extension 2511.

I called..they said 'box office.' I asked if this was the theater box office. They said yes
I asked about their service fee & they said not much..
I ordered 5 tickets @ $406 ea. After I gave my credit card, the price came to $2648.
There was a service fee of $123 for EACH ticket
I waited till my tickets were rec'd then I called the company. This is fraud to represent themselves as the theatre box office. They said the fee was visual before I bought the tickets. I don't remember seeing the service fee, however, because I thought I was ordering through the box office I wasn't aware.
I was going to fight the fee, but the real theatre box office said that Online tickets could report the tickets as lost & that my tickets in hand will be useless. So, I bit the bullet & paid.
Also, when I spoke w/ sales at Online, they said they don't do this, but, they will give me $100 the next time I ordered tickets.
I declined & said I'm not about to order from you again!
unethical business practices
ordered tickets and after I read confirmation realize they are in US dollars. This a Canadian venue in Canada and the ticket prices are not any different then any other Canadian site..
I want to cancel tickets or at least get a refund reflecting the exchange between US and Canadian dollars.
Also would be nice to speak to someone and not a computer generated answer!
I live in Edmonton and OnlineCity Tickets has just done the same to me.. I just received my mastercard statement. This website does not indicate it will apply extra charges or will convert to USD until after you've paid and received your email confirmation. I now believe on top of this, these tickets could be fakes as there are no assigned seat numbers. So I'm just sick... how can we go after this company for a refund? Does anyone know?

Online this site shows tickets available but they are no where near, the seats are going to be. Very disappointed! What a big scam! Shame on these people ! deceiving process
My husband was directed to OnlineCityTickets DIRECTLY from the Saroyan site. He assumed, wrongly, that this was the vendor for Saroyan. Yes there are disclaimers if you look carefully for them, but this was very misleading. In addition to additional fees, he received a confirmation to try to get ORCH section, his choice, but nothing more specific than that. We don't know when we will be receiving these tickets - or if we will. We tried to cancel but received a message from customer service indicating 'all sales are final'.
This is a terrible way to do business, and a terrific way to antagonize customers and ensure we and those we know will never use this site. Horrible.
ticket purchase problems
I had a very unfavorable experience with OnlineCityTickets.
I ordered the tickets, but didn't get a confirmation email that they had received my order until 5 days later (unacceptable in today's online ticketing world- we should hear back at least with an acknowledgement message within hours, not days). After 2 days of not having heard or seen anything from them, I ordered elsewhere.
When I tried to work with OnlineCityTickets, they gave me the canned language about all sales being final, and lied to me about sending an email the same day I ordered - I never received that supposed email.
In short, I'll never use them again and recommend you stay away as well!

I bought two tickets to the TSO concert in the Key Arena.
My bank shows the money was taken out on 09/19/2017.
I got sent an email saying the tickets were forwarded, they were not.
Calling on the phone just repeats, I did finally get someone who disconnected the call after holding for 15 minutes.
I need my tickets as I spent over $400.00 and it is a gift for my husband.
radio city ticket order
I was on the site about to place an order for Radio City tickets when I realized this was NOT the official site. I had already entered my credit card info. I was going to go back to remove it & accidentally closed out of the suite. I did not hit any submit button but somehow the order was processed. As soon as I got the email I tried to call. Could not get anyone in the phone so went to chat. I explained what happened but the rep refused to reverse my order. I will never use this site again & have already contacted BBB, Consumer Affairs & will be calling my credit card co tomorrow. Never ever use this site.
deceptive business practice
I bought 3 tickets to Cirque du Solei show in Worcester, MA. The price online came to $888. I thought that was pretty high for a show in Worcester. When the tickets arrived in the mail I was floored to see that the face value is $97.00 ea. I just checked the website and the seats are showing for $95 each. I demanded a full refund and they denied my request.
This is completely deceptive business!
horrible experience
What's the point of this company existence? The way they run their business and how they treat customer would have caused a global shutdown. But it didn't happen.
So many negative reviews and nothing useful was done.
Are you ok knowing that one of your customers ordered tickets 2 months before the concert and never received her order? How do you like that your customer service each time tells a different story, promises to send, but never does anything? They talk too much, they talk smart, but it doesn't make sense.

Misleading website, exorbitant fees that only appear after you enter your credit card info. Tickets purchased back in march. Received an email at that time I wouldn't receive the etix until sept. 14. On sept. 14, I received an email saying I would receive them on or before sept. 16. Still have not received tix, concert is two days away. This website is — at the very least — predatory and misleading. If by some miracle I actually receive my outrageously priced general admission lawn tickets, I will know to never purchase from them again. Never been one to agree with our litigious ways, but if there is ever a class action lawsuit, i'm in.
absolutely terrible
Never had problems with them before, so I booked tickets from them again. But what I got was absolutely wrong, not what I ordered. Called their customer service trying to fix the problem. All automated, no response when you have an issue, only recordings that may make you irritated to the maximum.
I sent tons of emails, but no one was answered. Then I decided to cheat them and sent a request asking to call me back as if I was going to buy a ticket. They did and I was referred customer service.
Long story short, my problem wasn't resolved, they found many excuses not to correct their mistake. I'm out of money and any wish to shop there again.

I was pretty sure I was on the official venue site when I purchased, as I entered the official site like many theme prior. I was dir cited to the seating chart, and believe this is where I was redir cited. I received the tickets to notice how inflated the cost was. I was told there were no refunds. I will be speaking to to my credit card company asking them to not make payment unless onlinecitytickets refunds my money. I also plan to spread the word of their deceptive practices so others are not scammed
