Overnight Prints has grown too fast for its own good. The majority of its products are good, but is fallen short of living up to its name. "Overnight" refers to the time of day that they print, not how fast they print. Only business cards and 4x6 postcards are printed in 1 day, everything else takes 3 days or more, and don't even think about getting envelopes, stamps, or t-shirts. This is a company that will do anything to make more money. If they stuck to what they were good at- postcards, greeting cards, and business cards- they would make a bundle and be able to provide a good service.
As is, Overnight Prints delays have quadrupled since they started offering more postcard sizes, bookmarks, and rack cards. Just to let you know, when you call in you are talking to someone in Las Vegas, if you call File Help or Reprints, they are in California, and most of the printing is done in Kentucky. This splitting of the company causes miscommunication and the people that answer your calls haven't got a clue as to what is really going on where decisions are made or where the production is happening.
It is also important to know that it is a small company handling thousands of orders a day, so don't think you are special, even if your order is over $500 with shipping- which is padded to the extreme to put more money in some rich guy's pockets- ONE GUY OWNS THE PRINTING SHOP, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY, and THE ONLINE SERVICE. When you order from Overnight Prints, you are actually using 3 companies under one umbrella corporation, and communication between them SUCKS. Don't even think about getting a call back from a supervisor within a day, WON'T HAPPEN. Don't think that no one is picking up the phone, you're just waiting in a line longer than the one at the DMV.
Also, FREE SHIPPING iS BS- this is the crappiest delivery option available online. Overnight Prints makes good products for the most part, but their delivery sucks. As stated on their website, there is NO GUARANTEE ON TURNAROUND FOR BASIC GROUND SHIPPING- What a load of horse #$@#! They will get it to you, eventually, but it could take a month and its still on time according to their Terms of Service- and they will quote you on it.
There is a guarantee on turnaround, but if it is late the only way you will find out is if you track it yourself. They will never tell you if there is a problem, well, almost never. Overnight Prints is also not responsible for whatever you pay someone else to make up for them being late. I had to pay Kinko's more than twice what I paid Overnight Prints for absolute crap merchandise, BUT IT WAS ON TIME!
Overnight Prints does somethings good, but what you would expect from their name is the thing they do the worst- OVERNIGHT- or moreover, anything fast. As the old saying goes, in service, you can get it fast, cheap, or good. Overnight Prints merchandise is relatively cheap for the quality, high quality most of the time, but rarely fast, and when they are fast, it's outrageously expensive. Don't Expect anything on time over the Holiday Season, that's for sure
Horrible quality & customer service!
I decided back in December to place an order with Overnightprints.com for a sell run of business cards. I received the cards in the mail about 2 weeks later and they were horrible. The rounded corners looked like I cut them with a scissor at home, about 50 of the cards were bent already from packaging, the text on the cards was about 6 pts bigger and most importantly, the green for both sides of the card was a disgusting yellow! I call right away to let them know that there is no way I can use these. The customer service rep. tells me to send them back for a reprint and they will correct it. If not, I will receive a refund.
Needless to say, I get them back 2 weeks later and the same problems are there, the only change being that the front and back are a darker YELLOW instead of green. I call again and they tell me to send them back for a refund. In the meantime, I send the same files to another printer and received my cards in about 3 days, looking exactly like I wanted, with no problems.
Today, I receive a call (two months after the initial order) saying they refuse to give me the refund they promised as they determined that they printed the cards to "the best of their ability" and since what I received is the best they can possibly print, I can't get my money back. The only way I could get the refund (which they promised) is if they found on error on their part and if their printer can't print the color, it's my problem, not theres. I now have two options: they can send the cards back to me (which I'll never use) or give me a partial credit towards a future purchase (which again, I'll never use. If their printer doesn't have the "ability" to print in the right colors, why bother ordering anything).

I ordered business cards through overnight prints because I needed them OVERNIGHT. Of course, a sleaze company like this had fine print that I didn't notice that you have to select the option for over night on 1 of about 15 checkout pages on their web site. This is one of the companies that is run by people who have NO VESTED INTEREST in neither customer post-sale satisfaction, nor overall performance of their product.
A word of warning to anyone who is about to use Overnight Prints (www.overnightprints.com) for their printing needs. I have been a customer of theirs for many years. I can say one thing --- HIT OR MISS. The price is what drives the company ... it is difficult to find cmyk printing (full color) for the prices that they offer, however ---- warning: you get what you get. And if there is a problem, don't call them because they do not want to hear it. They will offer a reprint despite the fact that they missed your company's deadline, but that's about it. (what good does that do when you are no longer able to send out an item?)
Recent problem: Placed our order for Christmas holiday cards on November 29th. Paid for EXPRESS 3 day service. (This would mean that I was promised my printed and delivered corporate cards on Tues. Dec. 4) Well... it is now December 13th and we still do not have them. I have called several times. Their rude customer service team has a "Take it or leave it" attitude. They were supposed to finish the cards on Dec 7 and eat the cost for immediate delivery on Dec 10. This did not happen. Some idiot there decided to send them SLOW delivery method which is why we have not received. I paid for Dec. 4 and did not get the service or a professional attitude. The male I spoke to when I called the second time flat out did not care and said "I don't know what happened. I couldn't tell you." They offered me a $20 credit on my next order. (Which of course will probably be late) They completely suck at customer service and delivery times. They are NOT to be trusted unless you have over a month from the time that you'll need printed items. RUDE RUDE reps. Attitude of not caring. Take it or leave it... we are busy.

I placed an order with Overnight Prints for business cards and I paid for regular standard shipping because I didn't need them right away. It's been 8 days since my order was placed and so I called to check on it. I was told that it has not been printed yet. I was shocked. They explained that since I picked the standard shipping and that the arrival date was so far away, they were going to let the order sit there for 9 business days and then ship it so that it gets to me by the date promised. I explained that I agreed to regular shipping, but that I didn't agree to slow production of my product and that I expected my product to be produced right away. Then once shipped, it would take as long as it takes based on the shipping; not based on the fact that the order was just sitting there for two weeks (9 business day). It looks like "Overnight Prints" is not so overnight. I cancelled my order and will not give business to them again. That is very bad customer service.
I have been using ONP.com for years and just got back a job that was printed about 75% darker than the original. I understand incompatabilities between printers and monitors, but always generate myself a print before sending off. This is so FAR off, I can't believe it, all the shadows blown, no detail in the darker parts of the image. THey screwed the pooch on this one and are trying to blame me for the problem.
Overnight Prints is hands down the worst company to work with. I have been with my current position for 6 mo, and in that short time they have screwed up my order 3 times. Once, we ordered Thank You cards which would partially be direct mailed and the overs sent here. We never received any of the overs, nor did we receive a call back after numerous calls on the matter. Time two they brochures we needed for an event did not show up on time despite me calling to confirm they would be. The best was this last time. Having placed the order, I called to confirm the receiving date and the files were correct. I was (not) surprised to find out they hadn't even been shipped yet on the day they were supposed to arrive. When I called they said the job was done, and the shipping status was accidentally set as pick up. Yeah, I am going to go to pick my postcards on the other side of the country. I was told they would be shipped out that day and the floor supervisor would personally assure they would make it out, and to me by noon the following day.
Again, big surprise. I walk in to a voicemail saying they did not ship, and would not be there. If the job is already printed, how [censor]ing hard is it to throw it on a truck? When I called, I was given a big line of BS about their process and there is no way that the person I spoke to the day before could guarantee it would be shipped. She also went on to give me a lame [censor] excuse that they weren't at their facility, so they cant keep track of the packages. After repeatedly calling back, I finally get someone who refused to give me the job for free, and was going to refund our shipping cost, and would again GUARANTEE the package would be shipped out and here by tomorrow. Well that is too little too late. We missed our window of opportunity to implement the cards in our marketing plan. More action will be taken.
I will end this with DO NOT USE OVERNIGHT PRINTS. They are unprofessional and make more horse [censor] excuses than a teenager. When you screw up, own it. Give me a result. Not a "there is nothing I can do" attitude, especially when my company spends tens of thousands of dollars every year, and has so for many years. I will not use Overnight prints again, and would encourage everyone to pass the word along when being asked about a printer.
I have used 4over.com in my freelance work for years now, and have always received my projects well ahead of schedule, and they have always immediately solved any problems I have. They are far and above a better managed company overnight could learn a thing or two from them.

I would like to apologize for the unsatisfactory product you have received. We strive to provide you with the best product possible, and when you feel that it fails to meet your expectations, it's important for us to know.
From my understanding of the situation you experienced a error in the printing resulting in the color being different then what you ordered, and the cutting was. Due to our printing process; colors that are not uploaded in the correct color gamut due tend to shift during the printing process. For instance, some files that are designed in RGB are not able to produce correctly when we print them in CMYK. This is because CMYK cannot convert the RGB colors 100% accurately, I believe this is what caused the sight color shift in your order however cannot be absolutely certain without seeing your file first.
In reviewing all of the options I think I may have come up with a resolution that will meet your needs. This is the WORST Company I have ever dealt with and I am so so so disappointed. The color was not the same as I sent them and you could SEE the cutline ON MY Business card. I had paid a designer from RISD to design my card and I now own 1, 000 unusable business cards both color and cut (my website name on the card is also cut in half) I called twice for a resolution and the only thing I was offered after speaking with three "customer service" reps was to get a $19 coupon toward my next order...My next order? Are they high?

What does "on or before August 11th" mean to you? To me, it meant that I'd have the cards I ordered in time to use them at the event I planned to attend.
When the cards didn't show, I called Overnightprints.com and begged them for some other solution where I could still receive the cards. They kindly offered to "refund my shipping charges". WHAT!?
In this case, what would you want? I wanted to keep the cards and get 100% of my money back. It's only $100! Instead, it was calls and emails back to ONP when finally I got a letter from officeofthepresident@overnightprints.com. This person still accused me of trying to get free cards and quoted "terms of service" items that didn't even apply! Thanks alot!
Here are the exact facts: Ordered Aug 4th for "on or before Aug 11" shipping, that's ground and yea, the cheapest way. I was leaving Aug 12th. The cards were knowingly shipped late on Aug 6th (they told me they knew they'd be late) without a call or even email saying they'd be late. When I called Aug 11 to see where my cards were, ONP was flippant about the lateness. Hello! Over-night-prints?
Finally, ONP did refund all my money and offered to let me keep the cards... TOO LATE! I had already sent the cards back.
DO NOT USE Overnightprints.com if you want your shipment delivered on time.

Since you post on February 2010, Overnight Prints has taken steps to simplify our shipping process and to make delivery times more visible to customers sooner on our website (each product page). Instead of selecting a printing type you actually chose the date you need your order but. We have also implemented a new Emergency shipping method. You can now buy your order today and get it tomorrow as long as your payment is received by 5pm PST.

Totally dissatisfied with the service!
I am very dissatisfied with this service. I have referred many people to Overnight Prints, since I am in real estate. Normally, I do not have tight timelines on printing bulk items, however these cards were for my wedding and Overnight Prints has drastically let me and the wedding party down. I have not received a credit yet on my credit card. How could I do business or recommend the company again?

I have used Overnight Prints before, and been happy with their service, turn around time and quality of the product... Notice I'm not saying anything about their color... I have had almost a dozen people tell me that they'll go to their order screen and just do a "Re-order" of the previous cards, and the color will be COMPLETELY off...
Anyway, back to the complaints...
This time, however, I was not so lucky. I placed an order for business cards and matching magnets. I even had a 20% discount code. I received a confirmation of what I was ordering as well as how much I paid for the order. Today I receive my business cards, but no magnets. When I look up my order, the magnets are no longer listed, nor is the discount.
I called the customer service department and was basically called a liar, when I mentioned that I ordered the magnets. I kept offering to forward on the order confirmation, but they refused to give their email address. The lady was very snotty and refused to see my side of the issue.
When she did her math and realized that what she thought I ordered and what I paid for was different, instead of thinking that I might be right, she told me that I was overcharged. No. I was not overcharged. I ordered two products and received a discount. Even after I proved that the shipping and handling would be different had I only ordered business cards, but she just continued to state that I was overcharged, even though all totals backed up my story and negated theirs... It's been very painful... I'm currently on my fourth phone call to them... Been on the phone for almost two hours now with three different people (got the snotty girl again on my third call... But the second time she was VERY nice and VERY helpful, I think partially due to the fact that she started seeing that I had a point, no matter what their records said)... Still no resolution.
They keep offering to refund me the difference... That's all fine and dandy, but they're still skirting around the issue. I ordered two products and paid for them. I received a confirmation of what I ordered. Their records are completely skewed! How could this even happen? How can I have a confirmation, but they have no record of that even existing?
Now they don't even know their own pricing! They just gave me a discount on the business cards because they thought they charged me too much! Better believe I'm being honest about it! I paid $39.95 for 500 business cards and $10.00 extra for the rounded corners... How am I to feel confident that they're going to resolve my issue when they can't even read the order and see that it's more money because I added something? Oh man...
Sad thing is, even IF they rectify this order, I still can't say that I'd ever go through them again! And I had planned on using them for a GREAT DEAL of my products... Their loss!
Overnight Prints has become one of the worst vendors I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in the course of my 35+ year career. Their quality control, color fidelity, customer "service" and just plain honesty are non-existent. DO NOT USE THIS PRINTER.

I purchased a set of business cards & a set of postcards from Overnightprints.com on Sept. 28, 2006, well it is now Oct.23, 2006 and I still have not received my entire order. I called them, numerous times, with extensive waiting times, that I gave up being on hold and this past Saturday evening I called them and was on hold for 58 minutes and no one could tell me where my order was. Not one person at this company has even acted as if they care that my order has not been received. I guess they figured they got my money, so "Who Cares" I have e-mailed them several times and been told I would be e-mailed back, well that has not happend. I have e-mailed them also with my compaints of their poor customer service and again, no response.
If anyone out there is planning to use Overnightprints.com, please save yourself the nightmare.

I ordered envelopes for my business from overnightprints.com. The terms of service posted on the website clearly state the maximum amount of time before an order of envelopes will ship. Overnightprints.com failed to come even close to meeting its own terms of service with regard to the amount of production time. Customer service representatives try to deny the company's obligations based on the clear, posted terms of service.
After multiple phone calls with difficult and argumentative representatives, a supervisor offered to give me a credit for the purchase price of the envelopes. More than two months passed after making the offer, and overnightprints.com failed to send me any information regarding the credit. I called, and another supervisor agreed that, due to the failure, overnightprints.com would instead offer me a refund to my credit card.
The next day, I instead got an email confirming the store credit. When I called back for the refund instead of the store credit, the representative told me that AFTER I finished my phone call, the supervisor reviewed my account and noted that I had not returned the envelopes. Therefore, it is company policy not to issue a refund. I pointed out that returning the envelopes was not a condition of the refund the supervisor offered. Overnightprints.com still refused to honor its offer of a refund.
The company is difficult to work with. Moreover, it fails to honor the clear terms of service it posts on its website or the offers its representatives make verbally to customers!
Absolutely do NOT use this company!
Bad turn-around time, terrible service.
I placed an order Nov. 18, order finished printing same day Nov. 18 but they did not mail out my order until Nov. 24. They told me the order would ship out Nov. 20 and that i would receive it by Nov. 21. I had next-day air shipping. They had my printed order for 4 business days before mailing it out. I made the mistake of believing their word that they could get this product to me in time.
Their website states:
""What happens if my order is delayed?
Simply email us at service@overnightprints.com or call our order status queue (option 4) to rectify the situation. Overnight Prints will gladly issue a credit towards a future order."
I called and asked for credit towards a future order, and they denied the request. Clearly they do not know their own policies and will not make amends for delays.
Bottom line is they are anything but "overnightprints" and orders even with next-day air may be delayed. I would not recommend this business to anyone, ESPECIALLY to those requiring fast printing.
I ordered bookmarks with regular ground shipping. The next day, I upgraded my shipping to 2 day air. When they didn't ship within the 72 hours they claim in their Terms of Service, I gave them a few extra days. Finally, after 7 days, I called and was told that they were still in the print process. She claims the printing process would have been expedited had I chosen 2 day air shipping from the time I placed my order. I asked what does shipping method have to do with their run-time and she gave me some ridiculous story about how choosing faster shipping expedites the run-time, but only if you choose it at the time you place your order...sounds totally bogus if you ask me. I feel sorry for the people that work in their customer service, having to make up pathetic excuses for what sounds like a company that can't admit that they are anything BUT overnight!
Ordered lots of cards and postcards. Excelent turnaround time and color reproduction. Once I ordered a large order of business cards, about 12 different ones, and the order came in with 80% the wrong ones. Someone elses cards in a box with my label. I got on their website and opened a chat. The order was reprinted and reshipped. It cost me 2 days, but I was satisfied with the solution.

I am a business owner that has unfortunately used Overnight Prints more times than I care to mention. This company should be shut down or bought out. I have never dealt with such ignorance or incompetence. The people that work there are poorly trained and typically lack any technical experience. This is part of the reason that the wait on the phone is always extremely long. I WILL NOT ever recommend them to anyone. The customer service; well let's just say that it doesn't exist. Good luck to anyone faced with using their service. If I find another reasonable vendor to replace them, I will post their information.

I ordered cards. They arrived darker than pictured online and the print could not be easily read. The company said they would reprint them for an additional cost plus shipping. Stay away from this company. Find another company that makes a good product and treats you responsibly. EL
Overnight Prints - worst vendor I've dealt with in 18 yrs of print Buying!
Here's my story:
Ordered 1000 oversized postcards. received 500 on time, about 100 were damaged by them. They folded them to fit into a very small box - worse packaging I've seen in 18 yrs. Waited another week to get the balance of my order but only received 200 and those were supposed to be for replacing the damaged cards. Still waiting to receive the rest of my order, 500 cards.
Oh, they filed a claim with UPS so they could be compensated for damaged and lost product. UPS delivered the package exactly as they sent it!
If you are a graphic artist sending client work to these clowns, it’s only a matter of time before the screw up. That’s about the only thing you can count on from them.

I ordered business cards from Overnight Prints. I used the template and their image - the card looked fine on line.
I received my order and it is horrible. First when I emailed them they offered to reprint. I explained that both the image and the words were blurred and if they needed to change the font color I would ok it. Then they emailed me back and said they would have to charge me to reprinting. I then told them I do not want them to reprint that they can refund my money.
Debbie from retention called and told me no. She said I can send the cards back and they would decide when they look at them. I am send all the emails to my back and requesting they get a refund for the cards.
The company is horrible and they do not warranty the service as they claim. 19 cards were scored and damaged besides the fact that the rest were unusable.

I have tried them twice for different things and I didn’t like them either time. I gave them a second chance because a lot of people rave about them. Both times I was very disappointed. I will not ever use them for anything ever again. I know how you feel. I used http://www.printfac3.com for my post card and business card. And I couldn’t be happier with them, my card was stunning.
overnightprints.com sucks. They don't pay attention to the cards while they are being trimmed, leaving content in the "safe zone" not so safe from being trimmed away. They have a very nice staff that is almost immune to unsatisfied customers (they must deal with a lot of them), and they won't budge when it comes to reprints and reorders. Very unsatisfied with their work, and will never, ever rely on them again.
I agree - you should really try www.printprintprint.biz. They have overnight printing service available for low prices. Their quality is Excellent and turnaround is super fast!
