Disappointing Experience with Overton's - 1 Star
As someone who values quality and timely service, my recent experience with Overton's has left me thoroughly disappointed. I placed an order for boat seat bases with the expectation of receiving them promptly. However, the delivery dates kept shifting, causing significant inconvenience. The lack of transparency and poor communication from Overton's customer service team only added to the frustration. It's disheartening to see a company fall short on its promises and leave customers like me feeling let down. Moving forward, I'll be exploring other options for my boating needs to ensure a smoother and more reliable shopping experience.
Horrible with returns
The process for returning your order is horrible. You have to call to process a return - I called multiple times for 3 days straight (hold time >20 minutes). I emailed - no response. Finally after waiting 36 minutes someone answered.
I wish I would have seen the reviews before I ordered
We've always been pleased with the products and service Overton's offered. No more. Placed a pontoon seat order 5/8... still don't have the entire order. Noticed this morning one of the new seats coming apart at the seam. Too much trouble to uninstall and send back. Very disappiontwd in their service and quality. Not sure what my options are as the customer service rep said they come from a Wise distributor.

Orders not able to cancel once backlog occurs
Forced to take delivery three months after order. They informed me a week after they claimed item was in stock to say there was a backlog. Did not allow items to be cancelled and cannot get straight answer on how to return item. Be aware of their techniques to not cancel. Also Marcus offer to return calls or emails is a joke. Never heard back. He doesn't care even though he leaves an impression he is there for the consumer.
Best for all Boating Needs and Optional things
Love this site! Great variety and very fair pricing. Huge Selection and very current items.
Free shipping too!

I have been by a fan of Overton's since they were a mail order catalog in the 90's. They were recently bought by Gander Mtn which is my favorite outdoor store chain. I have a Supra Ski boat so we spend a lot of time on the Lakes and that means we need a lot of boating gear and toys for the water. We buy all of our skis, ropes, tubes, toys and trailer accessories from Overton's. I can't find them in any other store locally. They are simply the best in the business.
Overton's Customer Service Fail with Dockmate Mooring Arms - A Frustrating Experience
I bought some Dockmate Mooring arms at Overton's website and I gotta say, the products arrived just fine. However, upon installation, I realized that the arms were cut too short to keep my boat away from the dock, which was a real bummer. Now, I really like this product. It's perfect for my boat and it really works well, but it was just cut too darn short!
So, I called Overton's customer service and requested to just get two new mooring arms. All the rest of the hardware was fine, so I just needed the new arms. Unfortunately, after a whole week, I got a response from them saying that they can't do anything for me because their website doesn't advertise that this item is made specifically for pontoon boats, and because I followed their instructions for cutting the arms, I couldn't return them or get new ones.
Now, here's where things get really crazy. If you visit their product page, you'll see that there are no specific requirements for any type of boat other than the length and weight of the boat. And to add insult to injury, there were even three questions in their Q&A section on this product page that specifically asked if it can be used for a pontoon boat, and their reps said "yes"!
After working with several supervisors in their customer service (which took a whole week), I finally gave up and decided to call the manufacturer of the product. Lo and behold, they were the ones who ended up sending me what I needed. I gotta say, this Overton's place is a mess. Their customer service is a joke, and it makes me wonder if there are any other places where I can get my marine items.
Overton's Website Needs Improvement: My Experience Buying a Boat Cover
I recently checked out Overton's online store to make a purchase of a custom boat cover for my vessel. My experience with their website was not as good as I anticipated. Initially, I had to rummage through quite a few pages just to find a cover that would fit my boat perfectly. I stumbled upon one particular cover that had a suitable name, but its description was a bit ambiguous, which made it confusing to know exactly what I was getting. Despite this, I went ahead and made my purchase, only to find out afterward that I had chosen the wrong boat cover. I tried to return the item, but unfortunately, it is not a returnable item.
I would not completely lay the blame on the website since I made the final decision to purchase the cover. But, I do feel that if the site were to list covers for a specific type of boat, while also enabling customers to pick specific options, customers would gain more confidence in their purchases. Moreover, there could be multiple options to choose from for a single boat, but they are not consolidated in one spot, thus making it quite difficult to locate the correct one. Since this was not the first time I encountered an issue with this company, I can say that I will never purchase anything from them again, and I'm already considering other better places to shop.
Their customer service was of no help either, which is quite disheartening. It's important for companies to prioritize customers since they are the backbone of any successful business. Nonetheless, with Overton's, this was not the case. If you're a boating enthusiast like I am, I suggest you should avoid Overton's, and look for better alternatives.
Overton's is an Unreliable and Dishonest Retailer: My Frustrating Experience with Their False Promises and Poor Customer Service
I had a really frustrating experience with Overton's. I placed an order in July 2022 for an item that was supposedly in stock and would ship within 3 to 5 days. I was charged almost $2400 for the item and waited patiently for it to arrive. However, after six weeks I was informed that the item was actually on back order.
I was very disappointed, but I decided to wait and see what would happen. Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, I received an email saying that the item had shipped. However, when I tracked the shipment, I discovered that Overton's never actually had the item in the first place!
I was incredibly frustrated and decided to contact the manufacturer of the item. To my surprise, they told me that the item had never been out of stock and was available for purchase immediately. However, they also told me that Overton's had not paid them for the item, so they were not willing to ship it to me.
I couldn't believe it. I had paid for something that was supposedly in stock, but Overton's had not only not shipped it to me, they had also failed to pay the manufacturer for it. When I contacted Overton's, I spoke to managers and supervisors who assured me that the issue would be resolved, but it's been nine months now and nothing has happened.
I have called them over 20 times and every time I'm told that they can solve my problem. But after nine months, I've lost faith in them. My only recourse now is to request a refund through my credit card company for fraud. It's really disappointing that Overton's treated me so poorly. Especially since the item I ordered is no longer available for purchase at the price I paid. They have held my money for nine months and shipped nothing.
I'm really disappointed with Overton's and I would not recommend them to anyone. They are liars who don't keep their promises and don't treat their customers with respect. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy retailer, look elsewhere.
Overton's: A Nightmare Shopping Experience - Don't Order Without Reading This!
Let me tell you about my experience with Overton's. I must admit, I'm feeling quite embarrassed right now. Not only for myself, but for the staff at Overton's. See, I made the mistake of ordering from them without first checking the reviews. Big mistake.
Back on July 3rd, I made an order for two expensive knee boards and two ropes. I even paid for two-day service, thinking it would arrive in no time. Well, a week went by and I only received one of the knee boards. Another two days later, the second one arrived. That was already a red flag in my book.
I decided to call Overton's customer service on August 3rd and spoke with a gentleman named Ed Jackson, who was supposedly a team leader. He ensured me that the knee boards were pulled and ready to be shipped out. But five days later, I had to call him back since I still hadn't received the ropes. That's when he dropped the bombshell that the ropes were not in stock. But he reassured me that he would replace the ropes with a different brand. And to make up for the inconvenience, I decided to order four pairs of gloves for my grandkids since Ed promised they would go out that same day. I opted for two-day service again, with no extra charge.
Today is August 10th, and guess what? I still haven't received the ropes that I ordered back on July 3rd. And to make matters worse, I haven't received the four pairs of gloves either. So you can imagine how disappointed and frustrated I am right now.
All in all, I have to say I strongly advise against buying from Overton's. It's been a complete nightmare trying to get my order fulfilled. And to top it off, Overton's doesn't even allow files to be downloaded for proof of purchase. So, if you're thinking about ordering from Overton's, I would suggest you think twice and look elsewhere.
Overtons' Slow Shipping and Poor Customer Service: A Nightmare Experience
I gotta be honest folks, I'm not too thrilled with my recent experience with Overtons. I placed an order on their website about 10 days ago, and boy oh boy, have they been slow to get it shipped out. I've called their customer service department every day for the past week, and every time they promise that my order is going to ship out "tomorrow". But here I am, 10 days later, and my order hasn't even left Overtons' warehouse yet. It's like they're not even trying!
Now, I'm no expert, but if a company says an item is in stock, I expect them to ship it out in a timely manner. Is that really too much to ask? I've been left scratching my head, wondering why I ever placed an order with Overtons in the first place. It's been a complete nightmare dealing with them so far.
I've heard good things about Amazon and other companies, and honestly, if I had known I would be dealing with this kind of headache, I would have gone with them instead. In my opinion, Overtons is the absolute worst company to deal with. It's like they don't even care about their customers!
Anyway, I don't know when my order will actually arrive at my house, but I'm not getting my hopes up. At this rate, it could be another week or two before I even see a shipping confirmation. All I know is, I won't be ordering from Overtons again any time soon.
Overton's Website Review: Slow Delivery and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I been makin' orders on Overton's website for about 2 months now and it ain't been the smoothest of sailins'. First off, it takes about 3.5 weeks on average to get yer products, which is kinda slow if ya ask me. And then, to top it off, I ordered some stuff in the wrong size and dang if I can't even return it. They tell ya that ya gotta call customer service to do it and I done tried that three times now. First time I was put on hold for 62 whole minutes before I had to hang up 'cause I had a meetin' to go to. Second time was 48 minutes and they sent me straight to voicemail, never even heard back from 'em. And the third time, I was on for a whopping 71 minutes just to get disconnected with some automated message that said my call couldn't be completed. I mean, come on now, ain't nobody got time for that kinda stuff.
Now, I ain't tryin' to be too harsh on 'em 'cause I did read on their website that they been doin' this since all the way back in 1976 when I was just a young pup. And then they got bought by this Camping World company, which maybe ain't helpin' things too much. I don't know if they ain't figured out how to do business in the 21st century or if they just takin' that Comcast approach to customer no-service, but somethin' ain't right. Maybe they oughta put some more folks on them phones or hire some more customer service reps or somethin'. All I know is I ain't feelin' too confident makin' any more orders from 'em if this is how they treat their customers.
Disappointed with the quality and warranty policy: Review of Covermate 300 Trailerable Boat Cover from Overton's
I recently purchased the Covermate 300 Trailerable Boat Cover for my 16'-18'6" Fish and Ski, Pro Bass Boat from Overton's website. However, I am disappointed with the quality of the product as it started to rip within 20 miles of usage. By the time I reached 100 miles, the cover became completely worthless. It was flapping so much in the air that it ended up damaging the seats on my boat.
I was hoping the 3-year warranty would provide some relief, but it turned out to be a big hassle. I reached out to Overton's for assistance, but their warranty policy requires me to return the cover first at my own expense, which cost me an additional $19.00. Although Overton's promises to return the purchase price, the additional shipping cost made it less appealing.
Despite the experience, a representative from Overton's named Erika reached out to me via email and assisted me by explaining their warranty policy. I appreciated her response and she clarified that the cover can only be returned for a refund, and if a new cover is wanted, a new order must be placed. She also mentioned that I am responsible for the return shipping cost, but I can choose any carrier of my liking as long as I obtain a tracking reference for my records.
Overall, I am still unsure if I want to purchase anything from Overton's again. While their customer assistance was helpful, the rip in the cover and the additional shipping cost did not leave me with a positive impression. I hope Overton's can improve their quality control on their products and have a better warranty policy that does not require customers to pay for return shipping in case of a defective product.
Beware! Poor customer service and long delays at Overton's website for ladder purchase
I recently placed an order on Overton's website for a ladder that cost me a pretty penny, around $300. However, my entire experience with this website has been an utter disappointment.
Firstly, they refused to ship my ladder for five whole weeks! And to make matters worse, when I inquired with their team about the delay in receiving my order, they had no satisfactory response to offer me. Their customer support representatives seemed clueless and untrained, unable to give me a definite answer about the whereabouts of my order.
Despite speaking to four different customer service agents, they kept regurgitating the same lines about how they couldn't call the warehouse and how they could only communicate through emails. I found that extremely hard to believe, given their level of incompetence.
As the frustration kept building up inside me, I voiced my disappointment with them about their poor customer service and their inability to deliver on time. I also expressed my loyalty towards smaller businesses and how I preferred to shop with them instead of relying on big corporations like Amazon. Sadly, this plea fell on deaf ears.
Days turned into weeks, and as I eagerly waited for my order's arrival, I realized I had no use for a few of the items that I had ordered from Overton's. So I called to return them. But instead of a seamless return process, I was slapped with an unexpected expense- I had to pay for the shipping charges. I felt like I was being transported back to the early nineties, where e-commerce was in its infancy.
Therefore, I would strongly dissuade you from ever placing an order with Overton's. If you do decide to shop with them, be careful to order the precise item that you need, as returning items to them will result in an unwelcomed expense. Moreover, if you're in a rush to receive your order, you might have to wait for over a month!
Terrible Experience with Camping World's Overtons.com - 17 of Our Life Vests are Missing!
Let me tell you, I had a real bad experience with Camping World and I ain't never gonna go back there again. So, I was thinking about all them kiddos getting in pools after not being able to go in for a long time, and I thought it would be a good idea to buy some life vests for our members and guests. So, I went to Overtons.com (which is owned by Camping World) and bought 31 of them. Well, a few days later we got a big delivery from FedEx with some boxes from Camping World. I opened them up and guess what? 17 of the vests were missing! I waited a couple days and tried to call the company, but nobody answered. So, I left a message. And another. And another. And they still didn't get back to me. Finally, I got somebody on the phone and they said they couldn't help me because somebody signed off on the delivery. But come on, when are they gonna actually check to make sure everything is in the box before they sign off on it? Never, that's when! So, I called them again today and they still ain't gonna help me. And get this, the chairman of Camping World, Marcus Lemonis, says "If You're not happy, I'm not happy." Well, Marcus, you better be real unhappy right now, because I'm real unhappy!
Awful Customer Service Experience with Overtons - Will Never Order Again
I gotta say, I had a seriously bad experience with Overtons. Like, it was really awful. I ain't never gonna buy from them or their parent companies again, and I'm tellin' everyone I know to avoid them too. I mean, I don't think I've ever been treated as poorly by customer service as I was by Overtons. They kept transferring me blindly, sayin' they'd call me back and then never doin' it, and even told me I couldn't speak directly to a supervisor who had just given them instructions on what to do. It made me feel like they don't care about helpin' customers.
It's a shame, 'cause I've ordered stuff from them before and thought we had a good thing goin'. But I guess that's all out the window now. Honestly, I wish the folks in charge at Overtons would focus more on bein' good to customers and less on makin' their flag seem bigger than everyone else's. The product itself, the seats I ordered, seem real nice and all. But I just can't keep 'em given how poorly I was treated tryin' to get a price adjustment.
It's like, I ordered the seats and then not even a week later, Overtons themselves lowered the price. I didn't expect them to just give me money back, but I did hope to be able to use the coupon code I'd originally used on my purchase. But instead, they said I couldn't because it was a "prior purchase." And even though a new customer could get a coupon and the lower price, they refused to do anything for me. That's just not right, ya know? It's like they only care about new customers and not repeat ones.
Look, I'm not one to leave negative reviews. Generally, I'm pretty chill and get that stuff happens. But this experience was different. I was so mad that I just had to write this review. And honestly, I hope Overtons sees it and realizes they need to step up their customer service game. 'Cause otherwise, they're just gonna keep losin' repeat customers like me.

Overton's: Poor Customer Service and False Shipments - Avoid At All Costs
So, I decided to get an 18" mooring ball to handle half an inch of metal chain from Overton's. Unfortunately, I faced a considerable amount of difficulty getting through to their customer service department. My repeated calls and chat attempts went unanswered. After several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to open a dispute with PayPal. It was only then that I received a few halfhearted apologies about the delay citing Covid-related issues. However, it took them almost an entire month to confirm that my order had been cancelled.
To make things worse, I was repeatedly told to contact a person named "Marcus," who was supposedly an executive at Overton's, if I was dissatisfied with their service. However, when I did attempt to reach out to "Marcus," I found it was just another futile exercise. This was a frustrating experience, and I don't recommend Overton's to anyone.
It's unfortunate that a company that boasts of decades of experience can have such poor customer service and outright lie about product shipment dates. In all honesty, this company should be avoided at all costs. I hope they improve their service and integrity soon, or they'll soon be out of business.
Mixed Experience with Overton's: Delayed Shipping and Lack of Communication
I had a mixed experience with Overton's, the webstore for boating and marine supplies. The day of June 22nd, 2019, I decided to give them a call to order pontoon seats and spoke to someone on the phone. After discussing details, they informed me that there would be a slight delay from the vendor and that the order would ship in approximately two weeks. They charged my card that same day, which is normal for most websites.
Two weeks went by, and I had not gotten a shipping confirmation, which made me worry. So, I gave them a call and asked about it. Their customer service representative told me that I should wait another two weeks and see if the order would be shipped then. And so, I did. Two weeks went by again, and still no news. At that point, my anxiety level was high, so I called Overton's customer service again. To my displeasure, they informed me that there would be a further delay and that my order should ship by July 29th.
Thing is, they gave me that promise before, and it looked like they weren't keeping it. Another week went by, and I decided to call again to check on my order's status. This time, they told me that it would take even longer and that it could be six to eight weeks from now before I could see my order shipped. That meant I would have to wait until September, which pretty much killed my enthusiasm. They said the delay was due to their vendor, and that didn't make me feel any better.
That was enough for me. I couldn't stand waiting until September for a simple order of pontoon seats. Besides, the entire summer would have been gone by then. So, I told them I'd like to cancel my order. Canceling the order was okay, and they issued me a refund for the full amount, which was excellent. However, I was severely disappointed with all the waiting and the lack of communication about the delay.
Overall, my experience with Overton's was okay, but I would think twice about ordering from them again after waiting for so long.
Disappointed and Frustrated: My Experience with Overton's Customer Service
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with my experience with Overton's. Me and my buddies ordered some dock bumpers and corner bumpers for our boat. We were told they'd ship together and be here in around 10 days, so we were pumped to get them set up before the summer rush. But now it's almost June and no bumpers in sight.
We called up the customer service agents and they said our order was back ordered and they cancelled it on us without any warning. What a disappointment! We already paid for everything so we expected to at least get the items we ordered.
To make matters worse, when I called back to ask why we were told we'd get our order by June 10th, they transferred me multiple times and then just hung up on me. Rude if you ask me.
Lesson learned, I should have done my research on these guys before I ordered. Now I gotta try and find bumpers elsewhere and hope we can get them before summer is over. Not cool, Overton's. Not cool.

Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Delays at Overton's
Overton's is a website I recently visited that really didn't impress me. I think their customer service reps really need to step up their game - they're just not interested in helping people out. I noticed that other reviews on the site also complain about this issue. I've ordered from Overton's a few times in the past and every time I've had a frustrating experience.
I remember ordering "In Stock" items more than once, and each time, I ended up waiting for several weeks before receiving only partial orders. One time, I even had to wait for a Bimini "in stock" item for 6 weeks! When I tried to contact customer service to find out what was going on, they gave me the same answer every time, "It will be shipped in 2 to 3 weeks." I don't mind delays in shipping due to Covid, but I feel like Overton's takes it to another level by providing false or misleading information.
I wish they would just be honest with us and apologize for the delay instead of continuing to mislead their customer base. I mean, there are plenty of other companies out there who would be happy to take our business. I know I'll be looking elsewhere next time I need something.
Overton's: Misleading, Overcharging, and Unfitting Engines. A Cautionary Tale
Don't make the mistake I did and go to Overton's for your engine needs. I gave them my car's registration number and they offered me an engine for a Toyota Yaris, but I have a Toyota Auris. I was hesitant, but the guy on the phone assured me it would fit and asked for the phone number of the garage where I was going to have it replaced. I paid by card and was told the engine would cost me ?450, but after a few days, I noticed I had been charged ?540! They didn't inform me that the price didn't include VAT! To make matters worse, the engine was delivered unattended at 7 in the morning and didn't even fit! The garage engineers couldn't refuse the unfitting item, and it took me three weeks to get a refund. And on top of that, they charged me a 20% restocking fee because they said I agreed to buy it. I had to pay ?108 for their mistake! Don't trust them, and don't make the same error I did.
Overton's Disappoints: Back-Ordered and Hidden Charges after 2-Month Wait
So, I bought something from Overton's about 2 moons back. I waited for like 2 long weeks, but no updates came in my account online. I was like, what's going on? So, I reached out to 'em via email to find out what's happening, and guess what? It was back-ordered! Like come on, they should have told me at the very beginning, right?
I was like okay, no big deal, I can wait, no worries. But, it wasn't over as of yet. Fast forward another 6 weeks, and finally, I got an email from them saying there's gonna be an extra charge of $32 for hazardous materials. Can you believe that? I was stunned and like, what the frick? My receipt says free shipping, and there was not even a single word about this extra charge in the product description as well.
I was like, are you kidding me right now? From a customer's point of view, they should have honored the sale as it is and kept their promise. But, they straight-up refused to do so and told me to either approve the extra charge or get a refund. After waiting for so long, I got this in return? They made me wait for two months, and now this. I wouldn't have even ordered the product if they had mentioned this shipping charge in the first place. Nothing but a sheer waste of my time and money.
I used to order stuff from this company even before online shopping got cool, but now, I think I'll steer clear of 'em. It's just not worth it anymore.
Avoid Overton's- Terrible Customer Service and Slow Shipping
I recently made an online purchase with Overton’s towards the end of May 2021. I was in desperate need of several life jackets and, according to their website, all of them were in stock and ready to ship. However, after a month of waiting, I still hadn't received my order, and there was no way to track it online. The website simply stated that the order was being processed.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to call their customer service line. Unfortunately, I had to wait a painful 30 minutes before I was able to speak with a representative. She explained to me that things were running a bit slow due to the current pandemic situation and assured me that they would try to ship my order as soon as possible.
Another two weeks had passed, and my order finally arrived. However, to make matters worse, one of the life jackets didn’t fit properly, so I had to return it. I followed their return authorization instructions, and it got shipped back. That was a month ago, and I’m still waiting for the credit to arrive back to my account. Overton’s customer service team is now asking me to provide proof that I sent the jacket back, even though UPS already confirmed that it had arrived at their facility.
This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I strongly advise against buying from Overton’s. There are many other companies out there that provide much better service.
Disappointing Experience with Overton's: Issues with Returns and Customer Service
I gotta tell you, I'm pretty disappointed with my recent experience with Overton's. I mean, I've been a customer of theirs for years - decades, even! - but this last interaction has left a sour taste in my mouth.
So here's the deal: I returned an item to the company according to their provided instructions. I tracked the package with USPS and can see that it arrived at the service center a whole month ago. But you know what? I haven't seen a single penny of credit on my card. Not one!
And here's the kicker: I haven't been able to speak to a single human being who can explain what the heck is going on. I tried their chat function, but no dice. I waited on hold for a staggering thirty minutes to talk to customer service, only to be told that they would email me... and you wanna guess what never happened? Yep, that email! It's been two whole weeks and nary a word from those guys.
I've even messaged their Facebook page and called repeatedly, but it seems like the more I try to get in touch, the less interested they are in actually helping me out. Look, it's not like I'm out a ton of money or anything, but even so, it's pretty frustrating to feel like Overton's is just keeping my money because they're too inept to sort out their own system.
It used to be that Overton's was a great company to do business with, but now... well, let's just say I won't be giving them my business anytime soon if this is how they treat their customers.
Frustrating Experience with Overton's: Long Shipping Delays & Poor Customer Service
I had a really frustrating experience with Overton's. I placed an order on May 26th and waited for a few days for an email with shipping information. Unfortunately, I never got one. When I called customer service, I was told that Overton's had a 10-12 day shipping policy, and that my package hadn't shipped yet because it was still within that timeframe.
Well, day 12 came and went, and still no email. I called again and was told that they didn't know why my package hadn't shipped yet. I get daily emails from them about sales, but not a single one about my order. It's really frustrating.
I even told them about Marcus Lemonis's "I'm not happy if you're not happy" slogan and suggested that they change it because their company sucks. If they had been upfront about their shipping policy at checkout, I wouldn't have placed the order.
Now it's been 18 days and still no package, but they sure do have my money. I will never buy from this company again. I could have just purchased the same item from Amazon, but I wanted to support a different business, like I do with my local businesses.
I've received 15 emails about exclusive sales, but not a single one about my actual order. I would have been less mad if they had at least sent an update on my order. When I told customer service this, they didn't really have a solution for me.
Overall, I can't recommend Overton's based on my experience. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. I guess Marcus Lemonis isn't that happy after all.
Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Overton's Online Order & Delivery Process
I recently made a purchase at Overton's and I have to say, I was not impressed. While browsing their website, I found a Taylor Made dock box that I really liked. It said it was "in stock" so I decided to order it on May 7th. However, it's already May 21st and I still have not received a shipping notification. I tried emailing them to get an update, but received no reply. I was starting to get frustrated, so I decided to reach out to them on social media. Finally, I got a call from them letting me know that my item had shipped and it should arrive on May 26th.
The thing that really bothered me about this entire experience is that when it says "in stock" on their website, it really isn't! Apparently, the item ships directly from the manufacturer. This would have been fine if they had informed me of this, but they didn't. And to make matters worse, I also ordered a vacuum sealer that they claimed was in stock. However, it's been 10 days since I ordered it and it still hasn't shipped. When I contacted them again, they said it was at their warehouse but they had no way of tracking it. What kind of operation are they running over there? It's ridiculous.
So, I would definitely caution you to be careful when ordering from Overton's. They may claim to have items in stock, but apparently that's not always the case. If you want a more organized and well-run company, I suggest checking out Boat Outfitters instead. I recently placed an order there, and within 24 hours I received multiple communication emails keeping me updated on my order, shipping, and tracking. Overall, I was not impressed with my experience at Overton's and would not order from them again.
