Fine job remodeling with shower installation
Fine job remodeling with shower installation. The staff was professional and so far the installation looks great. I will assume Covid-19 led to a long delay in getting the contract fulfilled.
My installers Sean and Tyler did an awesome job
My installers Sean and Tyler did an awesome job. They were very personable and professional. Also, they left the job site nice, neat, and clean. I would recommend them to anyone! Again, awesome job! Thanks Sean and Tyler. ?
We are really happy to recommend Re-Bath to anyone who wants to redo their bathroom
We are really happy to recommend Re-Bath to anyone who wants to redo their bathroom. The estimate was super detailed and we were updated at every step. Dustin, the installer, did an amazing job and the place was left spotless with no construction mess anywhere. He was quick and efficient and explained what he was doing while he was here and was glad to answer any questions we had. The bathroom looks even better than we thought and the products used are top-notch. They really went above and beyond what we expected.
I never had such a bad experience with this company
I never had such a bad experience with this company. Don't sign a contract with them. It took them over 5 months to start the project. When work began, it was one problem after another. One big problem was that even though the contract said we only had to pay the balance when the work was done to our satisfaction, they kept asking for a big partial payment and stopped working when they didn't get it. There was even more than that. They misrepresented themselves and lied to us. Find someone else.
DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY
DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY. Like other people who got lured into paying half the price for a bathroom remodel upfront, only to find out that the other half wasn't true. They only sent one worker at a time, and because of the terrible damage and shoddy work, I had to get it redone by someone else. Don't give them your credit card. I learned the hard way that they would take money from my account without asking, even though I specifically told them not to and they promised it wouldn't happen again, but it did. They even asked me for money to pay their employee one day. My project, which was supposed to take a week to 10 days, ended up taking 8 weeks and still wasn't finished. It was the worst decision I ever made. I can't trust this company anymore. Please listen to this warning or get ready for many sleepless nights and losing your money.
This company uses pretty aggressive and misleading sales tactics
This company uses pretty aggressive and misleading sales tactics. The "designer" / salesperson in our case didn't pay much attention to detail and didn't communicate well what to expect, leaving a lot of work for us to do to get ready for the install. The worst part, though, is the rushed sales tactics that pressure you into signing a contract without giving you time to read it. Before the installation, there's hardly any communication. And don't be surprised if the installation date they estimated when you signed the contract gets delayed (but they'll still take your money right away). The installation crew in our case did an okay job and were actually pretty good to work with while they were here - much easier than anyone else we dealt with at the company, and they had better design sense. But they left some serious damage when they finished the job, and the company refused to fix it or pay for the repairs.
Fer a projected 8-10 week 'ordering period', we are now at 15 weeks
Fer a projected 8-10 week 'ordering period', we are now at 15 weeks. I understand during current times some ordering issues arise. That said we purchased materials of our own for the project and received in a timely fashion. They've been sittin' in our only area with room to store - our kitchen. My real problem is they don't communicate. I've received ONE (1) email statin' they were ready to schedule, yet when I called, they said the email was sent prematurely and they'd contact me when materials arrived. That was over a month ago. I've since called 4 times. When I reached them the personnel answerin' the phone said they'd have orderin' person contact me when available - no one called me back. I've also sent and least 5 emails to their customer service email (from which they bombarded me with emails when solicitin' the job) and NONE have been answered and NO return calls. Terrible customer service. I'm still locked in on contract, they have $10K of my down, and holdin' all the items I ordered so will try to work through but completely frustrated and would not recommend.
Right now I'm only giving two stars
Right now I'm only giving two stars. When we first talked with their sales rep, they told us that we would sign the contract for 10 weeks when they would "receive everything so they can install" (LIE 1). That was in mid-June. He also said that it usually takes 6 weeks (LIE 2). That "6 weeks" kinda sold us on them. In July, I asked for an update and they said it was still on schedule for 15 Sep. On 10 Sep, after receiving nothing from the company regarding any sort of status, I had to contact them. After that, they said they would call me (LIE 3), which they did not. I, the customer who had already put money down, had to contact them several times during this process. When we were finally able to talk, they said they would be able to start the installation on 11 Oct (LIE 4). I received a phone call on the Friday before the installation was supposed to begin, stating that they still did not have all the parts and would have to cancel the installation until they could get "confirmation" that they would receive the missing part. Another company warned us about this, but we ignored them. We should have gone with them; then our bathroom might actually be done by now. Their customer service is nonexistent.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!
AVOID THIS COMPANY! DO NOT HIRE THEM! I paid $7,800 to remodel my bathtub into a walk-in shower. I hired ReBath in April, but they took until October to finish the job because of 3 mistakes. That's 5 WHOLE MONTHS! Unacceptable! The installers made the first mistake, so they had to order and make two new shower walls, which took weeks. Then James, the person in charge of ordering, ordered the wrong walls, so I had to wait even longer for the correct ones. The glass door vendor made the third mistake by not grinding the attachment points correctly, so they had to cut a new piece of glass. When I complained about the first mistake, they offered me $800 as a refund, but I wanted them to fix their mistake and give me the shower I originally wanted. After the second and third mistakes, I asked for a discount due to the 5-month delay, stress, and excuses, but they refused. They brushed off my complaints and said they wouldn't give me a discount. I didn't ask for a free or heavily discounted job, just a small discount on the $7,800 price. Any other company would have shown customer care, but not ReBath! They kept referring to their initial offer as if it covered all the mistakes. I asked for a discount because it didn't stop at one mistake, I had to deal with two more! That's ridiculous! Avoid these people at ReBath: D - operations manager, James - person in charge of ordering, Jen - HomeDepot account executive, Lisa - "Corporate Customer Care" person. They act nice at first, but once problems arise, they're too busy and claim it's out of their control. Jen quickly took full payment before finishing the job and ignored my complaints. They only care about the money, not the customer's satisfaction. When I asked for higher-level contact information, D gave me her own email. She dismissed my complaints and referred me to "Corporate Customer Care," who just sent me back to the franchise owners. It's a corrupt system. They investigate themselves and find no wrongdoing. Read the negative reviews and believe them. Also, M *** is the owner. Look for positive reviews written by M *** or M ***s. That's the kind of person and company you're dealing with. Just say NO to ReBath!

We met with the Salesperson on 4/23, and then again on 4/24
We met with the Salesperson on 4/23, and then again on 4/24. They said the work would start in May , or maybe by mid-June . But now it's July 23, and still no work has begun. They were fast to cash the 50% deposit check. It seems like they make promises and statements that aren't true. I really think they are using our payments to fund other jobs.
Pacific Coast Re-Bath remodeled our master bathroom
Pacific Coast Re-Bath remodeled our master bathroom. They finished the work on October 14. They said in the sales pitch that 14 days after the install was complete, the glass around the shower would be installed. On or about October 26, we called the Pacific Coast Re-Bath office to ask when the glass would be installed. They said they needed to send someone else to our house to "re-measure". When we expressed our unhappiness, the manager said "It might not take the full two weeks". As of the date of this complaint, it has been 61 days since they "finished" the install. They don't respond to our inquiries.

On December 13, me and my husband bought a tub liner from A***, who works for Pacific Coast Rebath in Oxnard
On December 13, me and my husband bought a tub liner from A ***, who works for Pacific Coast Rebath in Oxnard. He asked for half the payment upfront and promised that the liner would arrive in 6 to 8 weeks. Our current tub was in bad shape and we really needed a liner, so I wrote him a check for $1,250.00 right then and there. From February 13 to March 11, I was given the runaround. Finally, on April 2, Paul came to install the liner. He measured and scratched up my tub, and then said the liner was faulty and he would order a new one. I called the office and spoke to D on March 5. She said she would order me a new one, but didn't know how long it would take. I told her to cancel my order and she said I would be charged a 20% fee. It's now July 12, and I still haven't received ANY MONEY BACK from Rebath.
On 12/02, I hired "Pacific Coast Rebath", License No 871827, to do a complete remodel of my bathroom
On 12/02, I hired "Pacific Coast Rebath", License No 871827, to do a complete remodel of my bathroom. The start date was supposed to be 03/08/2022 and the completion date 03/21/2022. I've contacted them 6 times in the last 4 weeks to get an updated schedule. I talked to 2 receptionists who said they have everything they need to start but they're busy and don't know when they can start. When I pushed for a start date, they changed their story and said they don't have everything they need. They're evasive and never call back. They haven't given me a start date. I've paid 50% of the $30,000 for the job. It seems like they have no intention of starting or finishing this contract.
In 2017, we decided to give our bathroom a makeover with the help of Re-Bath of Oxnard
In 2017, we decided to give our bathroom a makeover with the help of Re-Bath of Oxnard. It took a long time for all the supplies to arrive, about eight weeks, but eventually, the installation was completed in a timely manner. However, last year in 2021, we encountered a problem when a leak started from the shower head and the turn on valve. We immediately reached out to Re-Bath for assistance, and that's when the trouble began.
We made several calls to them, but most of the time, they would promise to check on the issue and then never return our calls. On a few occasions, they even assured us that someone would come out on a specific day and time, but nobody showed up. Frustrated with their lack of response, we decided to call another plumber who claimed to know what parts were needed and said they would go to Re-Bath to get them.
To our surprise, we received a call from Re-Bath stating that no one else could work on their products except for them. They promised that someone would contact us soon. However, after making several more calls to Re-Bath, we were once again told that someone would come out. Finally, three and a half weeks ago, a gentleman named Sal arrived. He inspected the issue and informed us that the required parts were not in stock. He would have to order them and expected them to arrive in about three weeks.
Just a few days ago, I decided to call Re-Bath again for an update, and they informed me that the parts manager needed to check on the whereabouts of the parts. It feels like we're constantly being given the runaround. We're tired of the excuses and the impression that they don't really care about their customers. We desperately need some help with this ongoing problem.
The shower door that Pacific Coast Rebath (PCR) put in for my new shower in June has a big leak at the bottom corner where it closes
The shower door that Pacific Coast Rebath (PCR) put in for my new shower in June has a big leak at the bottom corner where it closes. I told PCR about the problem in early May. On May 17, they said they had the parts at their place and would give me a date for the installation. On May 25, they put in a new seal, but the shower door still leaked just as bad as before. I let PCR know about the failed repair on May 30. On June 3rd, my daughter and I went to their facility in Oxnard to talk to the manager, Jennifer, because we were having trouble finding out when they would fix it. Jennifer arranged for a shower door person, ***, to look at it on June 10, but they didn't offer any solutions. On June 13, PCR put in another new seal, but it leaked just like before. On June 16, I sent pictures of the leak to them. On June 24, PCR put in yet another new seal, but it still leaked just as bad. On July 18, I went to the facility, but they wouldn't let me talk to Jennifer directly. The person at the desk, Julianna, said she would have Jennifer call me. On July 20, I called PCR again, but I couldn't talk to the manager, Jennifer. The customer service at this place has been terrible, and I still have a big puddle of water on the floor every time I use the shower. Please help.
Rebath charged my credit card without my permission for the remaining balance on a contract for a shower remodel
Rebath charged my credit card without my permission for the remaining balance on a contract for a shower remodel. They didn't tell me or send me an invoice before this happened. The shower work is still not finished. The office manager confirmed this in an email and text (included) after they charged my card. I also have a signed changed order (included) that authorized a $250 deduction from the contract amount. But they charged $3,036.50 to my card when it should have been $2,786.50 at most. I want compensation because there's still a problem with the shower door. I ordered a 5" shower base, but they installed a 3" base by mistake. This meant I had to order a taller door to match the plumbing height. While waiting for the new door, I used a shorter, wider door without any issues. The installers had to replace a shower wall because it was cut wrong and didn't stick to the drywall. They installed the new "streamlined" shower door when they replaced the wall section. The caulking they used was of poor quality, so I sent pictures to the office and they sent an installer to remove and replace it. But even after that, the current shower door was still leaking, so the installer had to remove and replace the caulk around the door. I sent a detailed letter to Rebath explaining the problem and asking for the money from the changed order and compensation for the shower door issue. They didn't respond to the certified letter. There was also a problem with the shower floor support, but that has been fixed. From ordering to scheduling to installation to replacing walls to replacing the shower door to removing and replacing caulking to supporting the shower floor base, this project has been a real struggle. Please help me get a fair resolution.
