catering service
Never ever order to Panera Bread (Markham location) again. I order last week and it was late for 30 minutes. Today I told myself to give them another chance but to my dismay our order is late for 45 minutes. Called the store and they keep telling me the driver is in the way. Wait for another 10 minutes but no delivery yet. My colleague and I only have a 30 minute break then go back to our meeting. Called the store and wanted to talk to a manager but the catering coordinator Janna said no manager at that time. How come no manager to manage the store at lunch time?
I always love panerabread. I loved to go to Markham location. I was one of their first 100 customer line up when they open. I was always pleasant and nothing you can complain at their first 3 years. But now change of management, sometimes they are missing some ingreadients of their sandwich. Now we have to pre order the mini cookie. Amazing isn't it? Cashier in this location is always smiling and friendly. Their production seems like a jungle. From the cashier point of view, I can see how they struggle. It seems like they don't know what their doing. Last week, two managers in their production. I can see in their screen running to 12 minutes before the food comes out. I wonder how can you finish your food in another 10 minutes and back to your finish for having a 30 minutes lunch break. Line is always long. Please panera big bosses hire a manager that know and work fast. Panera Bread is considered as a fast paced restaurant isn't it? I might just go and eat somewhere else sometimes. And stop going to Panera Bread.
159th and harlem
Every time I come in to this cafe, the manager that's working, Toni, she is always talking down the employees. Insulting them..and is always the loudest one in the cafe. It's hard to sit and enjoy my meal when she is around. Other than that the employees are wonderful, food is always great. Just figure someone should stick up for the employees that are being bullied.

general manager shawnie
I went to have lunch at the Euclid Avenue Cafe 4642 in Cleveland Ohio 44106 on April 18, 2018. I ordered a Soba Noodle bowl and a sandwich for my husband. I did not like the noodle bowl so I took it back to the counter and asked if I could have a bread bowl of chicken and wild rice instead. The general manager Shawnie said yes but I had to get something else b/c the noodle bowl was more than the cup of soup. I asked her to put the balance on my card she refused, saying they don't do that b/c there was nothing wrong with the bowl I just did not like it. This was such terrible service! She came back to me with a to go package with the soup and a piece of unwrapped baguette! NOT a bread bowl and I was dining in! I had to get a pastry (which I did not want) to eat up the balance from the noodle bowl! I was forced to spend my money on something that I did not even want. This is a real shame that the general manager would act like this to a customer. I was refused the balance of what I paid! No compassion for customers and not empathy.
customer service
I came into your Mequon Wisonsin store # Cafe 1550 yesterday 4/16/2017 @ 2:22:20. I was check # 161219. I live in a town (Sheboygan, WI) that is an hour from any Panera so this is especially frustrating as I would have just came back to the store.
I spent just under $40 for my daughter and I to have a mother/daughter lunch and take home a dozen of bagels and cream cheese. Normally since I've worked food service I accept that sometimes workers are having a bad day.
The employee that took our order seemed to have better things to do and we were definitely affecting his time. He did not seem like he wanted to be there and was annoyed at how long we were taking taking. I asked how much a dozen bagel with the cream cheese was because it wasn't up on the wall and couldn't get an answer. He was bothered because I asked what type of cream cheese he had, he was irritated byme asking what cream cheese he had since they run out sometimes. But this was not what prompted me finally complaining. He asked me if I wanted the bagels sliced and I said yes. He did not seem happy about it at all. This whole process was walked away with me wanting to ask him if someone peed in his cheerios and me telling my daughter that she may have to find a new special place.
What finally prompted the complaint:
This morning I went to give my kids each half of a bagel as they can't eat a whole one. Your employee did not cut them in half, he rather cut all of the tops off some, some not even cutting all the way through. I would have had basically 24 meals for my kids, now I have 12. The tops are useless not mention that when you buy like your crunch bagels, that is where all the extra goodies are so that is all gone. I normally and probably wouldn't even have written in if the employee wouldn't have had a chip on his shoulder to be honest. If I had a polite decent person like we usually get I think I may have been more inclined to shuck this off. I feel like I have to wonder if he did it on purpose. I do appreciate all the great customer service you have had in the past. I don't think we'll be back.
chicken caesar salad
The menu does not indicate that the caesar dressing contains anchovies. While this is a common ingredient it should still be noted as a potential threat! my co-worker ordered the salad and now is experiencing an allergic reaction.
What if this results in hospitalization?...This could have been completely avoided!
the menu should flag all potential allergy threats. Gluten, nuts, seafood etc.
This could be potentially life threatening!
panera needs to consider their guests' health and wellness as a top priority!

tomato mozzarella flat bread
Café order 974352 (Knoxville, TN ), I ordered a tomato mozzarella flat bread sandwich. I added spinach, Gouda and chicken. My tomato mozzarella flat bread did not have any tomato or mozzarella on it. It was a spinach, gouda and chicken sandwich. I tried to find a contact email on the website but I guess that must be a secret. I would like my money refunded for the sandwich, I will pay for the chicken & Gouda.
manager
I'm located at the Wayne Ave., Chambersburg, Pa 17201 and my manager Greg should, in my opinion and many others here, should not be a manager. He helps when we are busy very rarely and walks around watching our times on line and in drive thru become more than 3 minutes and not help. He has stated be fore to a fellow co-worker when she was by herself on a busy morning, "You can do it, I believe in you" and then proceeded to walk away. This has happened on more than one occasion. I don't not think Greg Daniels takes his job as manager serious and should either be demoted or fired. He does not do his responsibilities as a manager and does not help when help is needed.
food/ service
I went to Cafe #1482 located in Denville NJ on 4-10-18 at 8:00pm with my daughter. The experience was horrific. The cashier was not listening to what I was saying and instead kept asking if we wanted chips and soda at least 3 times. The order was completely wrong and then when the manager fixed the order. My daughter ordered a kids Caesar salad with chicken and I ordered half a chicken salad sandwich and half a Caesar salad. It was rung up as a full chicken Caesar salad and half a sandwich. Then the salad was adjust; however it was never made. The person bringing the food Andrew brought my sandwich and threw it on the table to where the sandwich bounced on the plate and you heard the plate land. I will never go to Panera bread again and for the same price that was charged, I will spent it at the diner where the services is better.
nothing like what I ordered
I went to the Panera on wolf Rd in Colonie NY tonight and ordered an Avocado BLT and when I got home I was shocked at what they are trying to pass off as a sandwich! It came in 2 halves and the one half had what looked like turkey meat that had been sitting around for a week and they must have ran out of that nasty meat so they put cold cuts on the other half. It had one pathetic looking piece of bacon, no mayo and a piece of what I assume is avocado. I couldn't really tell because it was microscopic! Oh, did I mention that I ordered it without turkey but they decided to give it to me anyway! Good thing i'm not allergic to turkey or this would be a totally different complaint! This isn't the first issue that i've had with this Panera but it is my last! I cannot keep giving this restaurant my money and getting so much less than what I order and pay for!
careless to prepare order
04/08/2018 1:45:12 PM
Cafe order 993081
i had placed an online order for 3 nos. of Med Veggie Sdw Full.
and when at home we sit for lunch, in one of the sandwich we found two toothpicks, one each in two half's of sandwich just by the side in between breads. So the employee who prepared the order work carelessly and didn't pay any attention .It was good that i found one toothpick after one bite and then check whole sandwich and found another one, so please take necessary action so that such type of mistake don't happen for anyone else.
My luck was good that i was not hurt, its a food, due care should be taken to avoid any harmful injury.
gigi apple chicken salad
Last evening I ordered a fugi apple chicken salad to go and when I ate the salad a bit later, they had already placed the dressing on it leaving the salad extremely soggy. There was standing water in the bottom of the paper container. The five pieces of lettuce were terrible and unedible and the apple crisps were very wet unappealing. It I was a full size salad that didn't even fill a quarter of the container. The baguette was even over cooked and hard and dry. I am not a person who has ever complained, but I experience something wrong with what I order every time I eat at Panera at the Lengends Kansas City location. Very disappointing and likely will not return even though I live right around the corner.
turkey sandwich
I ordered turkey sandwich and when I open my sandwich, There is One piece turkey and lot of lettuce. No Mayo, No tamato, No onion and no mustard.I called the store, the manager hold the phone, she did not want to hear anything.I already called and explained with Ashley and supervisor Jeff
In complain department.
But looks like people are sitting in complaint department did not want to hear any complain. Supervisor Jeff told me he can not do anything about the food I ordered. He wants me to talk with the place Bell Townes center 3rd st and bell rd manager.cafe 1925, Phx AZ 85002.
I will tell to everybody how bad this place is .How bad complain department is.
worker/service
This is for the Panera Bread at Carle Place, NY 11514. I ordered seltzer water and when I went to the fountain machine it wasn't clear, so I asked Elizabeth who placed my order and she was already being rude so she goes with me and says here it is to place the cup underneath and to push and drink as if I was stupid. I continued to tell her not to be rude if I wasn't being rude to her. If you work for a restaurant don't apply if you're not a people person. Very nasty attitude from her. Won't be coming here again.
the general manager at your wellington store
I ordered an order online at 12:12 pm to the wellington location, at 12:27 I received a text message stating my order was on the way to me. We are across the street from the Panera Store. Should take no longer than 5 min to deliver. I called the store 20 minutes later and they said the driver had just left the store. Then I got an email at 12:40 saying my order was out for delivery, it is now 1:00 PM - and the driver just arrived with our food. I called and spoke to some GM and he gave me nothing but attitude and I hung up on him. The Wellington store is a disgrace.
rapid pickup/service
I had placed my online order for rapid pick up. My cafe order number is 987945 from 6001 W Waters ave at 8:34 am on Easter Sunday. I had ordered an avocado egg white sandwich and when I had gone the initial time to pick up there was no avocado. The manager at the location was kind to make another. However once I got home the second time and begin to eat I notice (since the sandwich was messy, every bite something would fall) a piece of plastic like in fruits and vegetables. I have downloaded a picture so you can see the plastic for yourself.
My total for this was 5.02 I'm very appalled and would like either a refund or something to be done. I come to this specific Panera because of the closeness, this location has messed with my order a few times. (I've had instances in the past which I have emailed about.
rapid pick-up

Panera No.: [protected]
Ordered bagels/cream cheeses, baked egg souffle, banana & chai tea latte online.
Arrived 10 minutes later; only bag on pick-up shelf was bagels and [I mistakenly assumed] cream cheeses. Had brought my phone in with me in case order verification was necessary; found a cashier in the bakery & showed her emailed receipt. She gathered the rest of my order & handed me the bag without saying a thing.
It wasn't until I got home & ripped the overly-stapled bag open that I realized the cream cheeses weren't with the bagels.
Although typically against our complaint-happy culture, I know customer service & it was absent in this experience. No resolution or compensation needed; Panera had higher standards in the past, and I hope to see that continue into the future.
service and product
I visited the Panera store located at McKnight Road 15237 at approximately 11:00 am. I ordered an orange juice, bowl of oatmeal (strawberries/pecans), and a cinnamon crunch bagel with cream cheese. The clerk informed me that they were out of cream cheese but had a substitute spread product in honey-walnut flavor only, and pointed to a note attached to the cash register. The note stated, "...the substitute product spread was not up to Panera's standards, etc."
The container holding the spread that she placed on my tray was only half full...clearly not enough for spreading on each side of a bagel let alone the cost of $1.30. I asked her for another container citing that it was only half full. Her reply was disconcerting, and she had an 'attitude" telling me that "We only serve one container per bagel." I responded that the container was only half full. She placed another container on my tray.
As I read the note, I was quite taken aback by the content. It explained the LISTERIA outbreak. I understood that, but why has it taken this long to address this issue. And the overall tone of the note was that the substitute product was NOT UP TO PANERA'S STANDARDS. I found this quite offensive that Panera would serve a customer a product that was substandard.
The spread was bland and tasteless . I should not have asked for it.
After I arrived home, I decided to call the Mgr. (I believe her name is either Angela or Amy) I explained my concern to her regarding the substitute spread and tone of the printed note.
She responded by telling me about the LISTERIA outbreak. Then she explained that the note came from the Corporate Office and she just posted it. When I began to explain about the substitute spread being substandard, she repeated that it came from the Corporate Office.
I believe at this point that she placed me on speaker for others to hear because I heard giggling and muffled comments in the background as I commented. As the Mgr. of the store this is very inconsiderate, rude, and unprofessional.
I offered her a suggestion of purchasing a substitute quality product from a local merchant. She became defensive by explaining the difference between Corporate stores and Franchise stores and telling me that she gets products delivered on Tuesdays and she cannot do anything about it.
Again I heard the giggling and muffled comments in the background.
She offered to provide me a complimentary bagel and cream cheese when I return. I declined her offer.
employee joslyn
Location: San Luis Obispo
Date: March 27th - lunch time
Employee: Joslyn (shockingly a manager)
I ordered the pick two. I had the greek goddess cob salad and the chipotle chicken sandwich without mayo. My sandwich was incredibly salty so I went to the food counter and asked if they typically salt the sandwiches. The girl working said "No we don't salt anything". Her tone was already really rude and didn't look at me. I said oh okay then I'll get something else. Still rude she said "What do you want?" I told her I would take another goddess salad to go. This is just the beginning of my horrible experience. I had already notice that the food runner employed there has special needs. She was very sweet and helpful. While standing there talking to Joslyn the special needs food runner asks her a question and Joslyn replies with "Yeah! They've been sitting there 5 minutes! Where have you been?!?!?!" I went back outside and waited for my salad to be made. When I reentered to pick up my salad the same food runner was there asking Joslyn a question. She replied with "You already asked me that! Don't ask me 5 times!" Other employees laughed and then Joslyn joined. The next day I ran into another employee that works at this same location and began to explain my experience. Before I got even half way with the story she finished it for me. She said that manger always treats Britney that way and that Britney has autism. She said she calls Britney weird and always asks why she was hired. This employee also told me that they have complained to the general manager there and she hasn't done anything about it. Let me start by explaining that I have a child with autism spectrum disorder and how this clearly hits home for me. Even if I didn't I would still be disgusted by this type of discriminatory behavior. If disciplinary action is not done to Joslyn I will never step foot in a Panera again. I am also heavily involved in our location ASD community and I will make sure as many people know about this incident as possible and how Panera handled it. I can't express how disappointed I am that Joslyn is a manger at this location.
food over 30 minutes late and no answer
Today is 3/30/18:
Our order was set to be delivered BY 12:06 PM... at 12:28, we started calling the store 3 times only to be hung up on twice before having to call the customer service number which couldn't get them to answer either so they had not solution. At 12:51 PM, we finally got a manager, Amanda Johnson, on the phone after calling literally 10 times.
Amanda said they were slammed and she had no idea where the food had went and that they would be remaking it to send back out. When I asked what would be a recourse for this mess up, she said she was really only concerned about having it remade at this time to get it out to us rather than being at the least apologetic. Not happy whatsoever about the treatment or lack of of her apology on their behalf. At this point, I do feel as if we are owed a refund or at the very least half off of this meal since we don't even know if it's still going to show up... it is now 1:05 PM and still no food.

service and food
I was at Panera Bread in Atlanta and never have I seen such bad service. They took so long that I received my soup luke warm. Then the bread with the soup was just a slice of folder bread. The employees would not smile or give any eye contact. I don't know what's going on, but I am more than disturbed and upset with this once fine company.
All of the other patrons seemed disturbed too. It seems like these people need to get paid higher or a supervisor needs to make sure they keep up with this once wonderful company's standards.
