spicy thai chicken salad
12/13/16
I placed an online rapid pickup order for a you pick two combo with the salad being one of my two. The order was quickly made and ready for me to pick up at the correct time but when I got back home and opened the box for the salad, there was no chicken in it. I was would have gone back but it's snowing outside and it's a far walk. I've never had a problem with this Panera before but I think it's a little ridiculous to be paying $5 for a little salad without any chicken. I used my panera card number with the phone number [protected].
Thank you,
Bridget
bbq flatbread
I got food from the Mitchell Plaza Panera Bread and half way through eating my flat bread I realized there was a grey hair in it. It was not my hair since I have brown hair so it was obviously someone who works at Panera. This is very gross and caused me to not finish my meal. My soup was perfectly fine, it was just my flatbread that contained the hair.
service
My family and I love panera, we go at least once a week, but last week something that I found extremely inappropriate accrued with a male panera employee and my 16 year old daughter. While my daughter was filling up her cup before we got our food a male employee introduced himself to her as Tyler and proceeded to flirt with her infront of me! Asking her for her phone number and such. She told him she was a minor and proceeded to walk away. I was in complete shock I couldn't say much of anything. He was obviously an adult and she looks very young for her age. She doesn't feel comfortable going back and I don't blame her. The whole situation was very bizarre and we will not be returning to the Dalton Panera. I hope manegment can nip this in the butt before it becomes a real problem.
not getting things right
I went to Panera drive thru, ordered a half turkey on white, nothing on it and mayo on the side, a bowl of broccoli cheddar and bread. I did not get the sandwich. I didn't notice until I got to work later that day. Called and spoke to a manager who was very nice and said she would send me a voucher which she did. Now it's probably been at least two months since this happened . Today I went there and went in side because I don't trust the drive thru. Half a turkey on white nothing on it mayo on the side, a bowl of broccoli cheddar and bread. What I got when I checked was macaroni and cheese instead of soup.I showed them and they gave me the soup. I didn't open the sandwich because I could see it was a sandwich, and it was, with everything on it, no mayo, and no bread. Now I didn't notice this until my lunch time . I'm thinking this is my last trip there because nothing is ever right!
atmosphere
I was trying to work on my Masters thesis while eating dinner at Panera on December 4, 2016 at the Panera in Oak Brook, Illinois. The music is so unreasonable loud that I had to leave because I couldn't think straight. Panera used to be a place I could go work and enjoy myself. Now it's so loud here I don't think I'll be able to come back if this doesn't get fixed.
two workers
I had went into the Panera Bread in the Sugarcreek Plaza 6130 Wilmington Pike Dayton Ohio [protected] on Wednesday November 23, 2016 and order a Cinnamon bagel and plain cream cheese while leaving the worker had made a comment to the other co worker saying I was always nasty when I came in saying she didn't like me I come to buy food not to make friends that was very unprofessional of her and I will not be spending my money in any Panera breads again my feelings was hurt and I was not treated fair I'm a black young lady who stand for something and I will not go for the disrespect I spoke with the manager and he was like the lady I was talking about is very mouthy and that was it I was not satisfy him being a manager and that was it and we got off the phone I hope you look into this matter if you would like to contact me my name is Kelly Dixon [protected]
unacceptable food quality
On Friday, November 25th I visited Panera Bread in East Windsor, NJ along with my kids. Kids ordered a chocolate chip cookies which they couldn't finish and took it home. When they opened the pack later that evening we found a big long hair baked in along with the cookie. It the grossest thing I have ever seen and the hair was long to have been missed. It's the most unacceptable food quality
poor customer service
On 11/25/16 at 3:23:35pm I went thru the drive thru and ordered a BREAD BOWL with tomatoes soup. When I got home it was ONLY the soup. When I called the manager & gave her my check #1342212, she said I only ordered soup. Now I ask you, WHO goes to panera & DOESN'T get the bread? And who pays $5.77 for soup you can get from a can? It's all about the BREAD! She didn't apologize or say I could come in & get the bread. VERY RUDE. I understand people have bad days I myself have had a bad day, my dog died & I had JUST picked up her ashes. You need to teach your managers some common courtesy.
It is absolutely ridiculous to assume no one gets the soup without the bread. What about those who are counting calories? What about those who are gluten free? Just because you feel this way doesn't mean others do.
chpt chx avo melt and steak whte ched pan
Sandwiches didn't really have much of a taste, was unable to determine what they were filled with if hadn't read the menu prior to ordering, was really disappointed, thought was ordering Panini 's. My other complaint was that my free dessert coupon expired, was unaware they expired after so many wks. Always found Panera's a warm and friendly place with good foods, and desserts, this was the 1st meal was unhappy with, even my husband who eats everything was unhappy with sandwiches
Thanks Cheryl G.
told my husband he wasn't welcomed and he had to stop feeding our daughter and to leave the restaurant.
My husband went into Panera just like he does every week. Our daughter needed to eat so he bought her some mac and cheese. The district manager, Ryan came up to my husband and daughter and told him that they were not welcomed there because of an incident that happened over 2 years ago. Mind you he had still been going there once a week for lunch. This was the first time ANYONE had said anything to him. Ryan then proceeded to tell my husband that he needed to stop feeding our daughter and to leave the restaurant. I have never once in my life even saw anyone tell a father he could not finish feeding his daughter because the man simply did not like him. I will never be going there EVER again and i have alerted my friends along with my family about the incident and they stand by me by not eating at that restaurant any longer. Its a shame because our family and friends have gone there for years not to mention used their catering services countless of times. This restaurant is located in the buckland hills mall in manchester, CT.
What was the "incident"?
salad with wilted greens
Just paid $47.07 on 4 orders of Pick 2s. All was well except for Two salads with the chicken Fuji apple. The green spring mix had holes and wilted, some brownish and yellow, in other words really bad. Two members of my party went to get their salads changed. The associate referred them to the manager who told them "it's really like that." Really? Would they or anyone eat salad with wilted yellow brown leaves with holes? They even failed to bring our dessert and we had to ask for it. Your receipt said if our orders are not correct we can approach an associate and Panera will give us a free treat for our trouble. Unfortunately we received no treat and no apology.
cleanliness of restaurant
Every time I have come into the Panera on 21st St. in Nashville, TN, the tables, floors, and bathrooms have been dirty. I often come to Panera to eat and then study for several hours. Not once have I seen anyone come by to wipe tables or vacuum the floor in the 2-4 hours I spend here in one sitting. The bathroom is always filthy; comparable to that of a gas station. Napkin dispensers are often empty, and the most shocking of all, the baseboard in one dining area is completely off the wall and laying dangerously on the walkway. I would advise corporate to send someone out to this location to check on the restaurant and speak to its manager. I love Panera's, but the poor management of this location is truly giving Panera a bad name. The lack of cleanliness of this location is making me want to go to other restaurants and coffee shops nearby instead.
delivery time
Our office had ordered online with rapid delivery for lunch. We waited an hr and a half when they quoted 20 mins. After still not receiving our food I called and they said the delivery driver was on their way and they would be sending some certificates. After about two weeks I called again because we did not receive anything. I asked to speak to the manager and they said it was busy right now and the manager would call me back. After another week we still had not received a call. So now again am calling today both store and corporate and can not get through. This is very frustrating. How do advertise rapid pick up yet take and hr and a half. I want a call back and to be compensated for this issue.
I have the worst experience at panera bread merrifield va by one of manager over there
I order my food and drink, they don't have ice tea lemon so I ordered ice tea. They forgot to give me the cup so having one lady I think the manager just gave me a cup without apologizing. But I think it's ok. I didn't bother myself. While pouring my tea, I saw lemon juice near there so I get a little bit for my taste of drink. She said " that's not ice tea " When I said I just get a little bit. But she looked at me as I stole something from store. I ate a lot of times at Panera but this is a horrible experience I ever have, especially from a manager.
Yes, it is always horrible when you get called out for helping yourself to something you didn' t pay for...
This is the most ridiculous complaint I have read in a long time.
unacceptable food quality
While eating my salad at Panera, I found a dead fly in the salad. When I brought it back up the worker at the time did not doing anything about it. He asked if I wanted him to make me a new salad, but I did not want that. They should have reimbursed me for having that incident happen.
employee
I was there last week and an employee told the lady in front of me he could wait on her at the register down the way as the line was quite long. I did not hear that employee supposedly say (just the first person in line), and followed the lady in front of me to be waited on. But after the employee waited on her he told me if I wanted something I would need to return to the other line which was now about 20 people long. Absolutely ridiculous, their food isn't that great and quite obviously that employee could use some additional training regarding customer service. Also, when I was there the week prior to that I ordered a Frontega Chicken Sandwich that had all of about 3 small pieces of Chicken on it. I went to Culvers!
sexual harassment in the workplace
I worked at this location for approximately 1.5 years. I had a coworker that would sexually harass me anytime we worked together (and even when we didnt, he trained me and the GM made us swap numbers). He constantly rubbed up against me and touch my butt. Then a few times he had his friends hold the walk-in fridge door closed and turn the lights off when we were both in there. The tipping point for me was when he trapped me in my car after a shift, he got into my car and wouldn't get out so that I could leave. No matter how many times I asked him to back off he would continue to harass me. At this time I was 16/17 years old, and he was older. When I finally came to a manager on my next shift, she told me that he "would never do something like that, he has a girlfriend. Your just trying to get attention." After that experience it took me MONTHS to come forward again, I told a different manager who was very supportive and called the GM (Christine). My next shift she came to the parking lot while I was walking in and held me outside for 15min so the guy could finish his shift and leave, and so I was technically late. Then the scheduling manager cut my shifts in half, so he could keep his normal shifts, and I started to go from 4-5 shifts a week to 1-2! Somehow everyone found out and I started to get backlash from other employees, including the first manager that I told. The guy who was doing this to me got no punishment, or in trouble at all, instead he got my shifts. I could no longer go to bread bash, per the GM, so I wouldn't have to face him, but she wouldn't pay me to be forced to miss it. It got to the point where I couldn't get through a shift without backlash from employees around me, and I had to quit.
This was [protected], there is not much that can happen now, but I worry that this could happen to someone else. Someone should never have to be in the situation I was, telling me I made it all up. And even to this day I can't be in Walk-ins or small spaces if a male co-worker is there.
Similar thing happened to me, I was forced to work as a cashier which they knew I hated, rather than on the line. My shifts were changed from evenings which I had worked for more than 3 years, to mornings which interfered with my college classes. I was eventually fired for complaining about him while he still works there and has been promoted. Sad thing was all they had to do was watch the video recordings and they could see what he was doing.
Can we connect to discuss? I know someone going through this too. Thinking Panera may have a pervasive problem that’s needs to be addressed.
unethical behavior
I came into Panera Bread in West Chester store #203977 shopping center around 8:00 and my Bacon Turkey Bravo was on the wrong bread. I went to the counter and the manager Tom was on his phone so he did not even here me at first. Then when I got his attention he told me he would get me a new sandwich. When he gave me the sandwich back almost 10 minutes later, it was still on Tomato Basil when I asked for Rye. I asked for a refund & his face got very red. When we went to the counter for a refund he told the cashier "Move out of my way". He needs to treat customers and staff better. This is the first time I have experienced this behavior from an employee at the store. Overall he was very rude and I will not be back.
drastic change in volume of the italian combo sandwich
I have been ordering the Italian Combo sandwich for a long period of time, more than five years, and during my last visit the Italian Combo was at least half the size that I have been receiving. When I questioned the big difference in the sandwich I was advised the sandwich had been changed. I attempted to submit an email compliant but after 2 days of trying I called Panera Bread. The person I spoke with told me the same story, the sandwich had changed. When I explained that it was approximately half the volume she said she really could not do anything. She could only refer me to a local manager and I advised that would not accomplish anything. I asked her how complaints get to corporate management and she advised complaints are referred to the local manager which is contrary to the info on the Panera web site. Good bye Panera - like a lot of successful companies the customer does not count in the end.
racial profiling
The worst Panera ever. Me, my mom & 2 brothers came to eat breakfast. Me and my mother are inside eatting and working. My brothers sat outside, do to the AC blowing to high for them. My brothers are 2 teenagers.
We where at Panera for about a hour an a half when an employee came to me and my mothers table asking 'are those your kids?' And then stating that the 'manger just call the police because they where outside by themselves and didn't see any one around.' Again these 'kids' are grown 16/17 year olds that walked into Panera with 2 grown adults.
They sat outside and ate. They didn't even talk to anyone or move out of the chairs. This is racial profiling. The sheriff came and didn't see any issue on our end as we where present the entire time of the visit and the 'kids' where behaved.
The manger refused to talk to us after the incident. No apology or nothing. We are still awaiting a response from the establishment .
