I sent a parcel to the USA under this number which had an actual weight of 11.5 Kgs. To cover myself I actually listed it at 12kgs.
This package was then held up, and delayed in the USA and a demand for extra payment was made to my receiver for $22.75. No reasons were given. My client paid this sum to release the shipment.
Today I receive an email form Parcel2go saying that an extra payment was required of £10.64 as the parcel had a volumetric weight of double that I had listed.
What is going on? How on earth am I supposed to know what the fictitious rate is. I put down the actual weight and that is good enough for me. A fictitious weight of the box filled with air or lead is rubbish.
Is it also normal practice to charge both parties for the extra charge?
This company is a joke. They advertise cheap shipping, and then boost up the price afterwards by fabricating a fictitious weight and charging both the sender and the receiver.
You have just lost yourself a good customer.
Lost my parcel
I would never recommend Parcel2go to anyone! Do not use this company, they are highly unprofessional and unreliable. I sent a parcel via Parcel2go service and they actually lost it and every time I contacted them they said they need more time to find it.
I used them because their prices were the cheapest and now I know why! Terrible service and terrible support! Hope they'll find my item.
Extremely disappointed
I have used Parcel2go shipping service and was extremely disappointed. I used them to ship a parcel to USA from UK. I received a confirmation message that parcel was delivered but when I contacted the recipient he said that he received nothing.
Then I contacted Parcel2go and asked what was going on and they tried to assure me that everything was fine.
Several days later parcel came back to me.
Poor customer care + no response
I sent my parcel but it was lost and
couldn't contact parcel2go as they not have customer service,
contacted them through Facebook and no response, just received we will check this and after passing 4 weeks no one contacted me and i was continually chasing with parcel2go.
Scam
I posted a stroller on Craigslist for $600 I then received a text from [protected] telling me they were handicapped and sending this to their daughter in New Hampshire. They asked for my name and address which I did not give but stated they wanted to use PayPal so I did give them my email address. I then received fake emails from PayPal telling me that 1, 030 was placed on hold in my account and I needed to go to the nearest money gram location pay them 400 going to Chanteese Spencer 628 hwy 60 Socorro NM 87801 for the shipping. But then another email said the stroller was going to Jing Guo [protected]@gmail.com 110 Broadway Concord NH 03301. I also received emails from a Richard Wilson [protected]@secureroot.com from the fake pay pal telling me to email him with questions not to call. I also received an email from parcel2go telling me the same instructions as the PayPal gave so that they could ship my package.
I texted them told them to find another sucker and have not heard back but then got another email from "PayPal" threatening legal action. The emails from PayPal appear to be very legitimate logo and everything it is missing the lock with the check mark though and they addressed the email to my email address not to my name as a legitimate PayPal email would.
Be aware of these addresses I have found similar stories attached to the one in NH this is a scam PayPal would never put a hold on a transaction and ask the buyer to put out money in order to recive it!

I absolutely cant believe this, im so disgusted in these people theyve just tried to do the same with me and then i started to get a bit annoyed and emailed paypal from their site and they replied this morning so i googled the so and so richard wilson that was dealing with our transaction and seen all of these posts about their scam! Something has to be done about these people so disgusted as i was recieving threatening emails from alemlialouise1010@gmail.com saying she was going to contact the authorities cause apparently id stolen her money i told her to go ahead as i knew i wasnt in the wrong.
No phone numbers to contact them
I have used these for about a year, and all has gone well but this christmas I had parcels lost and damaged by yodel and city link, and parcel2go have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They just keep saying they are looking into it or refusing to pay out.
I sent 10 parcels on one occasion insured at £20 3 were damaged to same address they would only pay on one of them as I am insured for £20 for all 10 parcels not individually, but If I booked them separately and pay exactly the same I would be insured £20 x 10. Didnt even get the postage cost back. So lost a lot of money.
Lost parcels are just a joke. Last one was we have found it, so not paying out, but when I started asking where it was they stopped replying to my emails and kept cutting me off from live chat.
No phone numbers to contact them. Trading standards looking into them now.
I usually let things ride but enough is enough, you have no come back with them. If your parcel gets delivered great if not say goodbye to it.

This prepay scheme seems a bit of a scam...there must be thousands of customers like me with £2-3 in their prepay account that they can never use unless they top up with £20, but then it goes back to the same situation again once a parcel is booked
Worse than that, after 24months of inactivity the balance is LOST, well not actually lost, it goes into Parcel2go’s pocket...you must make a small fortune from this...very immoral, even if it isn’t illegal...
PayPal used to be bad like your prepay, used to charge to transfer a balance if below a certain amount, but finally they removed this and any amount can be transferred...about time your prepay scheme caught up and allowed any amount top up and no minimum to use towards a parcel delivery
Failed Collection 2 days running
I booked Parcels2Go to collect a parcel on 6/09/2012 for uk mainland delivery,
as I waited for their arrival I had another parcel to send so I went ahead and booked that for collection on the 07/09/2012.
By 19:00 on the 06/09/2012 no courier had arrived so I spoke to someone at Parcels2Go via their live help, who appologised and said it was a rare occurance and that I would have high priority on the 07/09/2012 so I rebooked the parcel thinking they would collect both together. MISTAKE it is now 19:19 on the 07/09/2012 and they have failed to collect again. I have just spoken to them via live help and been told there is nothing they can do until 8pm.
I beg anyone out there who is thinking of using them not to unless you have at least 2 days spare to sit at home.

Booked a next day delivery with parcel2go using city link parcel never arrived promised next day not arrived next day. on tracking it says collection canceled. Parcel2go are awaiting a reply from city link. I have phoned them myself and been given a new tracking number still cant track parcel! Parcel2go very unhelpful and i would have like to phone them but cant fine phone number. So from next day it is now three day delivery that is if they deliver tomorrow. We wont be using them again as this is the second time this has happened to us.

Lost of my suitcase
On 21 April 2010, I booked an online delivery service with Parcel2go to carried 2 items form Northampton to Brussels.
It was:
• 1 box of 10kg
• 1 suitcase weight 34kg
These two items were booked and collected and were meant to be delivered together to the same destination. The box was delivered and my suitcase containing my personnel belonging worth more than £2000 has never been delivered.
I was told by Parcel2go that because I declare only £200 at the time of the booking and did not take the insurance cover, they will only reimburse £50.
This is not acceptable and I would like you to help me recover either my suitcase or the value of the lost.
Please note that the £50 pound they are offering does not cover the cost of the empty suitcase nor the fee for the booking.
Failed delivery/shocking customer service
Having mysteriously lost one of 9 parcels I sent with them their customer service chose to lie about it and claim they had delivered all 9 parcels.They changed their story about when they had delivered the parcels but simply ignored the fact that their agent's (DHL) tracking system showed that one of the parcels had not been delivered although I even sent them a print off. I have never been defrauded and treated with such contempt at the same time.

I bought this service, they DPD didn't collected in two days, i reeboked for next day and they did not collected again, It is a nightmare, but the money was taken from the first day of my book .
