Paul Doble, I hope you see this and know what an AWFUL job your company is doing!
My parcel arrived damaged, I bought parcel protection to protect my item, the claim has been rejected because, in their words:
‘No damaged to the item slightly fold‘
This is absolutely unacceptable. I have sent proof of my very thorough packaging - bubble wrap AND a hard, rigid A4 envelope and yet the parcel has been bent in half and I have sent them a photo from my customer of how damaged and bent the book is.
The book is now in an unsellable condition as a direct result of the courier and needs to be refunded. I cannot believe they even have grounds to reject my claim. I paid for parcel protection in case of DAMAGE and it is DAMAGED!
I am due a call back after work this evening so we will see if they accept liability, if not then I will be emailing Paul Doble (CEO) and George Iveson (Operations Manager) themselves to see if they will sort it out. After that I will be going to trading standards because it is just unacceptable. My parcel has been completely disrespected despite thorough packaging and clearly saying ‘please do not bend.’
