Cashier Karishma Patel at Patel Brothers Niles.
Over buying in discounted stuff, stock and profiteering with cash outside in store. Sometime she give expired stuff in name of Patel Brothers outside the store .link card cashing with customer. Adulterated in weight measure Stealing and damaging stuff. Counting in cash giving fake bills. Taking credit and debit card for fraud Does not charge for stuff for friends giving free. Double scanning stuff and double billing.

I was regular customer of Patel Brothers at Irving until recently. I went to return spoiled Puff pastry bought just 30 minutes ago.The manager there on shift was very rude and instead of thanking me was telling his staff to bar from buying any bakery prod
ucts in future. He was asking me to show proof of spoiled product which was already consumed. I showed him the other pieces where potato was stinking and he still would not believe.
For 10 dollars of pasty he was ready to spoil relationship with long standing customer.
Desired outcome: Owner Darshan bhai should take cognisance of such behavior and correct it before it is too late. Others in my community had similar rude behavior.

Staff
The staff is so rude. There was uncle Ji who ask the staff for help to find something. That guy told uncle Ji that if he can't speak Hindi he shouldn’t come to the store. When uncle Ji gets upset about it. That guy (staff) start giving uncle Ji attitude. And start yelling at uncle Ji. When I told the guy (staff) that he shouldn’t be talking to uncle Ji like this as he is his dad's age. That staff guy starts yelling at me as well. And come to my face with no care that he was talking to women.
Desired outcome: The manager was telling us to forget about it. Instead of telling his staff that h can't talk to a customers like this.

Jai the store manager is absolutely crazy and has no manners what so ever. He is extremely rude to customers and was yelling and screaming for no reason. I went into return something that I thought was sold expired, he first told me it was a manufacturing date, I then said I would like to return it anyway and he demanded to see the receipt very rudely and impatiently. Once I handed him the receipt he went on to tell me he will not return if the box was open. I told him it’s sealed and he can check, I was literally there 2 days ago and was happy to get an exchange. He at that point opened the box found it sealed and out of no where started yelling at me and embarrassing me in front of everyone. He then said it was bought a while back and he will scan and prove it to me 1lt vs something else I have no clue what he was saying as if I am supposed to know how their scanner works. As he continued to yell and scream at me even other workers told him to calm down and help me but he didn’t stop! I honestly a that point told him I did not want to engage in his nonsense and asked for the item I brought back, he then started yelling at me with even higher pitch and started accusing me. At that point I just told him to keep it and spare my time. He got last of my few dollars as I was there but will never return. Even after I went back to checkout new items they had the audacity to not return the item I brought into the store which I very much paid money for and just keep it. No one ever apologized. he absolutely does not know how to converse with a customer and lacks the basic human skill of being respectful.
Desired outcome: He needs to step down from management. They need a new manager.
Wheat flour Brand/ Sujata Gold Swad
I usually purchase Sujata Gold aata and have observed that while needing a dough, it gets almost double, which means it is full of soda. To avoid that, I have tried SWAD and found out there is crystal dust in the flour, and also it is not a pure wheat flour, there is mixing of other flours, which is not acceptable at all. Stop selling such products for your business which are not healthy for customers, It's never consistent. One batch is good and the next batch you'll experience the worst. I request all customers to please observe what they're eating and complain about these brands as it is unhealthy if you consume such quality products for a long term.
Boxed sweets are expired
Boxed sweet with no expire date mentioned properly.
I accidentally picked up the first box in front and when I bought it home and had one piece of sweet. It tasted a bit weird and when I observed the sweets closely they were spoiled with some fungus on it.
I had a sore throat for few days. I'm never going to buy any boxed sweets from patel again.
I learned it from my mistakes. Will be more cautious about buying products again here.
Associate being rude and intimidating in Farsan dept.
To whom so ever it may concern:
I went to Patel bros today as I do like an regular loyal customer for indian groceries every weekend.
But today was different than other previous times experience which turned out to be little intimidating that I had to deal with an service associate one in Farsan department a gentleman with height of abt 5ft 10, wears glasses, he said he is the one always responsible for Farsan department and items.
He was yelling me in front of other customers just because I picked up the box to keep my groceries instead of using plastic bags to fill my groceries in.
I feel this kind of behavior should not be tolerated and such employee should be taught on how to treat the customers professionally, it will only help patel bros a better place to shop for future customers. Now I am so terrified and he made me so intimidated that I will refrain myself from going there. I will also pass this message to my friends and family of this terrible customer service from this gentleman from Farsan department.
I really want you guys to talk to this person personally that he doesn't treat any other customers this way in future just for the sake of a simple box.

Expired product
I bought some packing stuff from panchvati, and I didn't check at store. But when I checked at home I got total 3 packages expired alredy and one has no expiry. I went to again at store and manager replied me its coming from company. One package has outer extra label in French language as per canada government requirements but when I remove label under that there was expired in 2020.

Hello, I have bought clay pot few days ago then I find the best deal on Amazon, so I called Patel's store and asked can I return the clay pot he replied yes you can. I went to the store 2 days after buying the pot, I wasn't carrying the receipt it was my mistake I lost it. The person at the counter asked us to show the receipt I said I lost it, I said to check with the card I paid through. So there is no option to check that's fine. The pot cost is $22.99 he said it's $19.99 if you have the receipt I can refund the exact amount that's fair enough. When I check the pot actually at the place where it places with price tag says $22.99, I asked them again it says $22.99 but still the person was rude and talking with high pitch If you're carrying the bill then I can refund the amount as per the price tag on the pot. Is this the way to treat the customers. Whether he wanted to refund or not but this is not what I expected. This is disappointing

I purchased fresh Chapati from patel brothers and it was stale and had a bad smell when I opened the packets at home . The packets does not even have an expiry date .. otherwise it would have been easier to purchase . It seems these chapatis are old but still were kept to be sold I strongly recommend to put the date of packaging and expiry date on the Chapati packets for the consumers to purchase and prevent buying stale ones

I purchased 2 packs of freshly baked pav bread from my local Patel Brothers store. The pav bread was for a Diwali party I was planning to have with friends yesterday, Friday evening which is 3 days after I purchased the 2 packs of pav bread. By Friday afternoon, the breads were starting to smell and formed gray and white fungus marks all over the bread. The packages clearly stated that the bread would be good for one week from the date it was purchased. I even made sure to keep the breads in a stable temperature to avoid any problems. I had to purchase last minute dinner rolls to substitute the pav breads for my party. I would like a refund or gift card to replace the detective items.

Dead Insects founds in val whole seeds that We bought on 4th June. I opened the packing & found black marks on beans. When I scrapped it, dead insect was sitting inside the seed.
No Expiry date is printed on product.
