First time visiting Pearl Vision in Cape Coral Florida. Was originally impressed with the doctor and she was able to recommend some much needed eye care and information my future upkeep. I was given the 1Day contacts as a trial and even though they were not the correct prescription, they felt good. After I made a 6 month purchase and picked up my new contacts did I start having issues with the new 1Day contacts. I couldn’t see a thing when I wore them. Couldn’t even read my computer screen, they were so blurry. Thinking something was wrong I called into the store to complain. They quickly turned my worries away and told me the contacts were the right prescription and there wasn’t anything they could do. Told me to try them out a bit more. Well, today I went in to get a refund. Worst contacts ever and turned me off from wanting to come back to Pearle Vision ever again. Was only given 1/2 credit due to it being over 30 days even though they told me to keep trying them a bit more.
Claimed loss: $258.00
Desired outcome: Full refund for contacts I cannot use.

Here's what you need to do: don't settle for half-measures, especially when it comes to your eyesight. Go back to the store and firmly demand a full refund or a proper resolution. Explain that you followed their advice, and it's their responsibility to make it right. If they still won't budge, escalate the issue to higher management. Your vision is too important to be compromised by poor service and defective products. Stand your ground and make sure they correct their mistake.
