Online exam process
After their problematic software failed to work on two of my new pc's (despite the software testing fine prior), the third pc finally worked. After passing the exam on the 22nd Nov 21, Pearson VUE lost my entire recorded test results (invigilated) and pass certificate. The Pearson VUE portal simply showed the exam as 'Expired' which was later updated today (24/11) to 'Cancelled'. This has been the worst experience of any vendor I've come across in my 20 years of managing technology & vendors. It has wasted countless hours of effort. I'm now in a 25 day customer services queue for someone to get back to me on what happened to my recorded exam that was Passed. From the responses by their customer support team (Case 7321460) its progressing absolutely nowhere. A complete and utter failure of service, and loss of private and confidential data. Strongly recommend they retire this test service.
Desired outcome: Fine the recorded Pass Test and Results that was invigilated by their own team. Provide the certificate asap. Compensate me for this absolute waste of time and effort.
Pearson vue testing
I was giving a IAPP certification exam on 11/13 and was done with section I of the exam. I was on the review screen when it started to freeze. I tried reaching out via chat to the proctor but I was unable to send any messages. I tried speaking and signalling via the camera to ask them to call me. But I got no response and time was running out.
Finally, I had to pick up my phone and show it on camera to make them understand. The proctor immediately forfeited my exam. this was extremely unfair and puts my employment at risk. The product is ridden with technical glitches and impractical policies
Desired outcome: Reopen my exam. Refund the fee and if passed, match the certification date to be on the same as the original exam date
CCE NCE exam
I signed up for the NCE exam and I then tested all equipment several times. I wa prepared for the exam. I went to my neighbors home as they had a small room with a desk and bath for simplicity in testing. I took off my watch, and put my cell away and then the exam asked to the cell phone. I signed in at 11:30 for the test. I had my driver's license and then was told I need my cell phone and got it from the other room to take photos and enter into the site. Rebeca who I thought was my proctor verbally spoke to me and asked for several items to be adjusted, and she checked the room with me and spoke to me and asked me to move the pencils, telephone land line and remove dell phone ad clock off the desk. I photoed the four walls of the the room and showed her everything. She said I could begin the tutorial and then exam. I sat down began to read the instructions and realized I had put my hair tie on the counter and needed it to keep my long hair out of my face. I stood up all in camera view and picked up my hair tie and pull the door closed but it does not close well. All of this was on camera and in the view of a proctor. However I did not realize I had a new proctor who was chatting as I was reading the tutorial. I did not response as I was trying to master the online needs for exam understand how to flag and review. The chat popped up again and asked, "Is your exam complete?" This was not Rebeca but Jimmy who was chatting and not Rebeca who was talking for me the minute before. I did not notice Jimmy's chat and then I saw it and and he was asking again. I answered I was just beginning the exam and starting the questions. He replied that I had answered him and he was ending the exam but I had just opened the first question. I understand he felt as I an older woman I should have immediately answered him and noticed him as I did not bow down to him. This was a sad experience and he had all the power and I was under him so when I did not answer timely to him, he thrust his power and said the test was ended because I was reading the tutorial. I contacted Pearson Vue and explained the situation and was told my test was launched I was cancelled and not allowed to test. How could I be cancelled when I was reading the tutorial and opening question 1 when Jimmy was mad a woman did not respond immediately to him. I am unsure the culture of orirgin for the proctors and I was not told I would have Rebeca who speaks to you over the microphone and then Jimmy who chat boxes and get angry if her does not receive an immediate response. Are there ways to make this right? Should I hire an attorney and demand the video of this time and prove the events? I need help in knowing how to proceed.
Desired outcome: I want to be allowed to take the exam for the first fee and I would like Jimmy to apologize as he was not forthright and attacked because I was a woman.
Just took my NCE exam today. I ran the system checks on my person laptop at least 50 times since I registered in August. I logged in 30 minues before my exam as instructed. Went through system checks. Mic was good. Speakers good camera good. Network check green check too. I took the required photos and waited for checkin. A proctor came onbthe chat and said he couldn't see my video. I told him I saw myself in screen and the res light above said recording. He told me to close out and log back in. Did that. Second proctor said she couldn't see the video and that they would revoke the exam. That was the troubleshooting. I used my work laptop next. Got .75 thriugh the exam and received a message I opened a program. I didn't exam closed. Called customer support. Totally worthless. Finally completed the exam but only after being warned for looking outside of the camera view. I was looking at the clock and trying not to cry about paying 300 bucks for this wasted exam.

I fail my test twice i paid for an extension as well . turns out they also had a Missouri Laws and Rules Part that I did not know . haven't been able to get anyone to help me either . First time the girl I talked to was very unprofessional, had no idea what she was talking about, and hung up on me. That was at 7:50 Chicago time.
Then I called back and talked to Luce, who was very helpful, and explained what I need to do to take the test online. Something that the other girl said I was not authorized to do and wanted me to call FDBPR again
I had to call a third time, because I am applying under mutual-recgnition agreement. I have had my RE license in IL for 15 yrs, so any questions that pertain to per-licensing education would not apply. This time I talked to Cindy, who sounded like the first girl I talked to - had no idea what I was asking. When I asked for a supervisor, she transferred me to a GED dept.
This is taking way too much time to schedule a simple exam!
Desired outcome: Just tell me how to scheule an exam, without spending 10 hrs to do so

they do not make this easy every time i take the test it stops before i answered all questions and still had 2 hours of time left.that was the second time for that test they make it hard so you keep paying and paying and no one does anything about it e-mailed dbpr these things that are happening there response you can reshcedule with profesional testing thats it no help what so ever.i think a complaint to attorney general office is in order.
CIMA P3 Online examiner
I was ready to sit my P3 CIMA exam this morning and had the call with the examiner (I think it was Ashee) to ensure my workspace and ID were correct and within guidelines. I then proceeded to go through the 15 minute tutorial. Around 10 minutes into the tutorial, the examiner messaged me to say that I had gone out of webcam view. This was strange as I had not moved from my seat and was focusing carefully on the features of the system via the tutorial. The examiner then asked if I had finished the exam to which I responded that I hadn't even started the exam and was going through the tutorial. He then advised that the exam would have to be revoked as I had moved out of his view on the webcam. I am utterly devastated and appalled as this decision as I had NOT moved from my seat. Plus I hadn't even started the actual exam. How is this at all fair?
I chose to do the online exam as I do not want to put myself at risk of Covid by travelling to a test center. However, I am left with very little confidence with the online system. I feel I have been unfairly treated by the examiner and in all honesty I feel conned out of the £185 that I paid.
I am an honest, rule abiding person who has never broken any rules. I cannot describe the anger, upset and disappointment I am currently feeling.
The examiner gave me a reference number to refer to but as I did not have any pens or paper within my area I was unable to write this down and he ended the chat before I had any time to make a note of it.
It would be very clear to anyone reviewing the recording that I had not yet started the exam and that I would have been working on the tutorial at the time. I would be very interested to see the recording of where I went out of Webcam view and for how long this was for (i.e. did I just move my head to the side too much without realising?) Without sitting in my chair attached to a brace to keep me upright then this could be a very easy thing to happen. However, the exam had NOT started and I WAS sat at my computer and I WAS looking at my laptop screen.
Desired outcome: I would like for Vue Pearson / CIMA to allow my exam to be rescheduled at no additional fee. Plus I would like an investigation into the conduct of this examiner.
Florida Real Estate Exam
I have taken the Florida Real Estate Exam 9 times. Each time minus the original exam, I have missed by 1 or 2 points. This seems to continue to happen and each time, I pay the fee & take the test again. At this point after 9 times of missing literally by 1 point, it seems something is wrong with the grading system. I keep paying and taking the test again due to it being a job requirement but something is NOT RIGHT. I had a private tutor, I have taken many online tests from different Florida Real Estate platforms and am performing at 80-90% on my tests. The testing system does not appear to be accurate. Also, several times during my test, they have cut me off bc they can't see me, why is that my problem... And contacting them via phone, good luck finding a phone number that someone will answer. It took me at least 30 minutes to find a phone number that someone would answer. The online chat system is okay but my no means great. I feel completely ripped off and am frustrated to no end with this online testing system. And good luck trying to take the test in person, I can drive 2 hours in about 2 months if I want to do that.
Desired outcome: I would like the Florida Real Estate exam to be reviewed by the State.
Noise distractions while testing
On 4/14/21 at 11am, at the LeaderQuest (San Antonio) testing center, I arrived prepared and ready to take my scheduled, TExES social studies 4-8 teacher content exam.
However, upon the verification process, I was told by my Procter that their had been on-going technical issues via power outages in the area that were creating server issues and their would be no way of retrieving my information in order to validate my records against theirs, as well as begin testing via Pearson. I was then told If the issue wasn't resolved within the hour that I'd be granted a pass to reschedule the test at another date/time. I then let the proctor know of the inconvenience this was creating, due to the fact I planned picking up my child from school around my scheduled exam appointment (11am-4pm), of which precisely lasts 5hrs.
Furthermore, after approximately 30min of waiting, I was told that the server was back up and running and was then able to begin testing.
From the initial start of my exam as well as throughout it, I was continuously interrupted by chatting in the room next to me, as well as loud noises that were made from contractors that were doing work on the same floor that I was testing on, just outside the room I was in.
This made for a extremely, distracting testing environment, of which caused me to lose focus and concentration the majority of the time I was testing.
I was told by my Procter from the start of the test that if I had any questions/ issues to raise my hand and/or talk to the camera above my testing station and that she would come in to assist.
However, each time I heard noises that were distracting coming from the other rooms I did as I was told and asked for help/ raised my hand at the camera above. Unable to get her attention, I had to physically get up and go ask her outside my room to ask if she could please help me by keeping the noise down around me. I could hear her asking the others in the area to keep the noise down, which it did help for about 10min and then the noises would start back again.
I would physically get up and need to ask my Procter on several occasions to please have the noise level lowered, but it never seemed to help, if at all.
Overall, it was crucial that I passed this exam for my own sake, as I set aside the necessary time it would take to prepare for this exam months in advance. I honestly can say that from the events I've just described are what want caused me to receive a ‘non-passing' score on this exam.
Furthermore, I'm demanding for restitution and believe I'm entitled to a reimbursement of costs for this exam, as well as to be allotted a chance to retake it as well.

Aswb test
After 30 years of a successful career in Mental Health Services, where I was able to achieve administrative directorship in agencies on merit, I had to go back to school and complete hours/classes to obtain licensure for consideration of additional promotion. It was just the times, they change. So I completed an additional 2 years of higher education for my MSW (I have a masters in Ecology), 3000 hours supervision then LCSW provisional licensure all to make a whopping 50k per year, if that. The caveat is the Pearson Vue ASWB test. I've failed it 3 times this year, 2020. after so much studying and review, I felt my blood run cold when I saw "fail"!each attempt. I was thinking "wow, either I'm losing it or something is really wrong with this. I began legitimately checking into this and found class action lawsuits against Pearson Vue, multiple accusations and exploitation of individuals. I even had a 750$ extra charge fraudulently taken out of my account by Pearson Vue after paying for the 3rd test. Far too many red flags. My current position requires me passing that test which now seems impossible for reasons not pertaining to my personal knowledge, desire or ability. I've contacted an attorney.

I recently took a course that required mylab. I ordered through my schools online portal but then was contacted by my school notifying me they canceled the order and I would need to call pearson customer service to process the order. I contacted customer service 2-3 times before I got someone that said they couldn't place the order that I needed to contact our account rep for the school. I contacted him and emails went back and forth but then he ended up not being able to answer emails so someone else responded to my email, but my issue wasn't resolved. So my professor emailed one of his connects which prompted a quick response from them along with the reps that were helping. His connect sent me a form of how to order online instead (which should have been sent initially) I don't work there, I don't know the process, so shouldn't assume. The feel I got from email stream was putting me at fault for the many steps I was sent through, instead of apologizing for the miscommunication. It's only right to do that for a customer at the very least.
capm course online exam
28 Sep 2020: I was following the very strict and specific checking in process Pearson Vue has in place for online testing. On the last step my internet dropped off. I went to Customer Service as directed and waited for an agent on chat. He gave me a registration number, told me to restart my computer and attempt to log in through the link. The link didn't recognize an exam in queue. So back to the chat line and at the same time I called the phone line. It sounds like the best Pearson Vue is willing to do is cancel the first effort and make me wait several more days at least to reschedule. I've been trying to work through this for nearly three hours, still going.
I don't recommend using Pearson Vue's online testing process. It has been a nightmare and I haven't even started the exam.
rhit exam
Transpired on that saturday afternoon)
Upon arrival to pearson vue testing center for my rhit exam on saturday august 15th, I checked in and locked up my belongings which consisted of my purse and phone. I arrived a little early and was happy to be able to take the exam a little earlier than expected (test time was originally 12:30pm) time was a little after 12pm when I sat at the computer in the test room. Was able to start the test without any problems until about 30 questions in. There was an op report that asked a question from the chart displayed. After I answered the question displayed, I was unable to move to the next question. After I clicked all the corners on the chart, moved the chart display back and forth, every corner etc., it would not allow me continue to the next question. I had no choice but to get up from the exam and walk out of the testing room to the administrator sitting at the desk. The administrators name was ms johnson. She and I walked back to my computer in the test room, she tried the same as I and also had me try everything I had done before calling it to her attention. She was unable to move to the next question also. We both walked out of the test room and she asked me to please help her find a number to call someone. She called her boss, which I overheard her saying I didn't leave (knowing what I know now, that probably is something I should have done.) ms. Johnson did not know what to do but meanwhile checked in a man who was there to take an exam. Another man walked in and after taking pictures etc and helping them, she turned to me and asked if I had found a number to call to find out what to do, I finally gave up and said, look I have know idea who i'm supposed to be calling, it's a saturday and nobody is open. I was so agitated and the time is still going by on the computer for my test! Finally she got a call (assuming from her boss again) and ran in the test room and that's when she pushed alt delete.. Different keys and was able to stop the time. Went back out to the front room and continued checking people in. I'm left sitting there thinking what is going on? After she was done with that we went back into the room and she started pushing all different keys.. Test blacked out came back on, she put in her username and password, and back to the op report. She clicked on the image, made it bigger and back to trying to get it to the next question. It worked. I pointed at my time (meaning there is no way for me to complete this exam) she said, "just go" and I sat down, and started the next question.
Do you honestly feel this was fair for me? Why couldn't I have a fair chance like every other test taker? Stress free and able to sit and concentrate with 0 interruptions? Now my mind is staring at the clock. Not much time left.. I'm a test taker that needs every single second. 30 minutes after that, again same problem. A graph picture came up, again unable to move to the next question. I clicked on all the corners, enlarged the image, everything - could not move to the next question. I got up, walked out of the testing room and to the administrators desk once again. She was on the phone, told me to wait a second, waited a few, she got off and we walked back into the test room and did the same exact thing as the last time. This time after logging herself out and back in she was able to move to the next question and didn't take 40-45 minutes with keep in mind, the timer still running on my test! I answered questions without caring after that, because now all i'm worried about is time running out and knew I would never beat the clock. I indeed ran out of time. When that happened, a question came up asking if I wanted to end the exam.. Because time was up. I walked out of the room and back to ms johnson asking what I should do. She walked in with me and said, "end it". I was so very upset. We walked out, I told her this was unacceptable and extremely unfair. She told me not to worry, she entered a claim about the whole incident and protocol is to enter a ticket when a problem has occurred while testing. She ran my results which I knew I failed, I left so many unanswered. The exam was not completed, I did not finish the whole exam. She once again assured it will be ok and the whole incident, in detail is well documented.
I worked so hard to prepare for this day. I feel I deserve the same opportunity as the other candidates that sat for this exam without long interruptions and allowed the same time. Also, I feel this investigation was based only on ms johnson's very brief note, and an unfair premature decision was made.
Ms. Johnson, acknowledged the incomplete exam, I know because when time ran out, I brought her back into the test room and asked her what to do. When she printed the results and handed me the failed score, she knew I was very distraught about the relapsed time from the current events that took place. I believe if I had a more experience proctor or even if another employee could have guided us in the right direction I would not be going through all this stress im currently dealing with now.
I understand there is not any form of contact other than email on ahimas end, if not could you please advise a possible contact number to further discuss my concerns about this matter?
What PearsonVue/AHIMA are saying about this investigation is that I skipped 34 questions. You can not skip questions on the RHIT exam, they said I reviewed and skipped. I ran out of time from the issues that happened. They also said I didn’t review the question therefore it will not go to the next.. really? This is so wrong on so many levels!
Customer service
I'm a graduate who has been trying to register for my Nclex RN and has been having a difficult time with customer service placing me on hold than hanging up in my face for 30 minutes through 2 hours at a time. This has been a very unpleasant experience and has increased my anxiety, customer service is unprofessional and rude. They interrupt you as you attempt to explain the problem. They refused to let me speak to a manager/supervisor and all in all I've been trying to register for well over Two weeks.
Regarding microsoft certification exam: 98-381 - introduction to programming using python - english (enu)
I have scheduled exam today. I was follow all the instruction. The Microsoft Agreement screen appear and the yes & no button was disable so I was not able to start my exam, after certain time the exam was over and the status was fail and the score was 0.
The Chat support is very very bad. I don't know what I need to do, I didn't received any email
Exam cancellations
Pearson cancelled my cissp exam twice in a month around one week before actual exam. They did not bother to call to inform and just send an email without any reason or explanation. I wasted taking leave from work to prepare for the exam only to find out last minute that it was abruptly cancelled twice. Extremely poor customer service and management. I demand compensation! Use pearson vue services at your own risk
Online test
I took their online test for Certified Associates Project Management certification (CAPM) through Project Management Institue.
I completed the test. The screen said Congratulations you passed your exam. About an hour later I got an email stating that I left the test and am disqualified. I NEVER left the test.
I have reported this to the PMI and am trying to find out how to request a copy of the video of my testing time. I have yet to find an avenue of contact for Pearson Vue.
I am hoping that between you and the email I sent to PMI will assist me further in this appeal.
I do hope you have resolution and you can view the truth and not have Pearson Vue gaslighting and accusing from wherever their workers are located and perhaps Pearson Vue should hire person that have read the test requirement outline we are given. I had a guy, Jimmy, who was mad I did not answer immediately but I was reading the tutorial while he began chatting. and my proctor Rebeca had been talking to me a minute before. It is wild they get away with this and I feel like a victim and I had to pay and had no representation and the workers have no oversight for fairness.
They truly need major help and there is disconnect in the instructions and the proctors... I had a similar experience at 11 am on November 8 and wonder if they disqualify you if they are paid and they do it early normally so they have the day off. Do you know the name of your proctors? Have you filed a complaint and did they promise to review with their team and get back to you in 3 or 4 days?
Confusing information, cannot research customer service
I received an Email written in Chinese says PTE exams in April have been cancelled, but the official website didn't mention anything about it. Meanwhile, my exam is still seen as a forthcoming one.
SO, this is really confusing. This email could be a phishing email as it is not even written in English. (The previous emails from PearsonVUE all in English even my location is in Shanghai) Moreover, it does not give the same information with the official website.
I was not able to research the customer service to confirm it. and live chat button on the official website is also not available.
I really want to find out what is going on.

I've tested 5 times and fail each time by 5-10 points. I received all A's in grad school, passed my other half of certification, and this is my only barrier to applying for jobs. I've studied all I can for this but somehow, still can't ever pass even though i know the material. It's a joke and money grab. They know people need these exams and will pay dearly to get a passing score because they need it.
I’ve taken the same test three times and failed by only one or two questions. I don’t believe that’s true. I believe they are claiming I’ve failed so I’ll need to take the test again…and again…and again. I’m changing careers because I can’t pass this test. It’s a shame too because I’m an excellent teacher and I actually care deeply about my students.

exam reschedule
Hello,
I have been trying to Reschedule my Exams in the last 4 days i.e 17th Feb, 2020.
I keep getting the error: Card Services is not available for this services when attempting to make payment of $10 for the Reschedule fees.
I have reached out to UK office three times in the past 3 days now and Resolution has not been made as the keep getting the same error i am getting.
One of the agent i spoke to finally suggested i contact a Local Exam Centre in Nigeria to Reschedule however they were going to charge me $80 dollars even when the exam is less than 24 hours that has make the Reschedule impossible.
Please help look into this as i am not ready for the exam tomorrow.
