I was sold this extended warranty when I bought my 2017 Hyundai Tuscon in late 2021; Being new to all this, I took the highest cover for 48months and some optional items they had on their flier the dealership gave to me. Paid $2,600 or thereabouts. Fastforward 18months or so, two claims (AC hose/ belt issues and AC door actuator) have been sent to them and they claim it is not covered despite having the technician call them to explain. Over $1,500 and I had to pay all out of pocket; it does not look like they will ever cover anything, just look for ways to deny claims everytime. Just save up your funds instead of handing it to them as they would still not pay if legit.
I later discovered what I had bought was not the highest cover they had; well, how about they put the highest cover on fliers that the dealership uses to sell to customers as I would have bought that instead (looking for the best cover possible); so they put a limited cover as the highest on their flier knowing if you purchase that, they will end up likely paying nothing if any claim come through; they are legit scammers and mentioning a contract that i have never seen either as if they tell the dealership to give us the contract or info that the highest cover on the flier isn't actually the best cover available; who designs a flier and leaves out the best cover. Biggest scam!
Desired outcome: An apology will be nice with the option to take the highest cover available (this should ideally be net of my out of pocket expenses) or payback for the out of pocket expenses if not an option.
