Car insurance through American alliance is a scam
I was rear ended by one of their insureds on 9/14. My car sustained extensive rear damage with $2700 worth of damage per estimates by reputable body shops. The at fault driver hit me so hard that her car was not drivable, her airbag deployed, and it was towed away. I sustained minor injuries. All I ask is that they pay to fix my car and a rental car. Instead, the adjuster has never contacted me, never returned phone calls or emails, and sent me a check for $357 with a note that if I cash it, it releases them of further liability. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, they never respond. I have learned this is par for the course for this company. Even my insurance and the body shop contend that they will never pay. Why are they allowed to stay in business and continue to collect premiums from unsuspecting people?

I got in a car accident on 08/31. The man (***) was driving south bound when he crossed the yellow lines and hit my car going north bound head on. The man got out the car ran away came back In different clothes (what I was told by other eyewitnesses) saying his car was stolen and he didnt file a police report because he didnt know it was stolen (what my mother said he told police). Even though the owner of the car was drunk police didnt do breathalyzer because he claimed hes car was stolen. I told my insurance company all of this and provided police report by September 2nd. They have failed to contact the other person within a months time so i said I am willing to just pay my deductible so I can receive my check. After stating my car is a total loss they didnt call or send any mail so I called ( like I have been twice a week since accident) and they told me I had to send bill of sale so I sent it through email. Then I still havent heard from them so I called again (10/03) and they said they cant give me my check until I show proof of everyone in household. They said they sent a letter in the mail. By 10/10 I still havent heard back from them about information I sent or received letter so I calling again and they said they didnt receive email. So I sent the email 3 times and verified address when my lawyer called next day 10/11 they said I never sent anything. So I sent it two more times and when I called today 10/17 they said they still havent received it. I really need help closing this claim I have been going through a lot already physically and they are putting me through more mentally and financially because with out a car its hard to obtain work. On 12/27/22 the client ran a red light over 6 seconds had been red. He hit a truck, who hit me. American Alliance has denied the claim stating he was using the vehicle for commercial and not personal business. The complaint is 100% liable and guilty for the accident, totalling my vehicle. They have been rude and condescending toward me when I've called. This is unacceptable as they are denying the claim due to reason I feel are completely ignorant as to not have to pay out e.r. visits, and vehicle repairs. Their client had numerous times to stop. They had been traveling exceeding the speed limit posted and as I had a green light that was 3+ seconds green and was proceeding through the intersection when he was speeding through said light, he was negligent and disobeying several laws. I do not feel this claim was rightfully denied. I truly believe they are trying to hide facts and save themselves. In the meantime, I have neck injuries and no vehicle to use for my job.
I was insured through American alliance causality company for 3 years I was in multiple accidents (i was not at fault for these) including a hit and run which the insurance company did not require a written statement. I got into a car accident that was my fault and the insurance company denied my claim based on a written statement but they never required a written statement in the past I believe this was bad faith insurance and would like to prevent this company from doing it to another customer/consumer.
I purchased this insurance with the confidence that if and when I unfortunately needed it there would been coverage for my vehicle. I was involved in a car accident at the beginning of Dec 2022, with an unlicensed driver, who was driving a vehicle that was insured by this company. I was not at fault and the whole accident was witnessed by a police officer who filled out a report on the spot. I didnt get a copy right away because I had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance due to my injuries being as bad as they were. I have been unable to work for almost 2 months now, I needed surgery and am currently going through physical therapy, and this c*** insurance company wants to deny my claim saying they arent responsible. I am not sure how this company is still in business considering all the complaints they have. Hello, my wife was hit by a customer of *** insurance. We did not file a police report because no body was hurt. We switched insurance papers and filed the claim. I was told they had 30 days to tell them there side. There has been no response from there client . I w was spoken to in such a rude manner every time I called and was very long wait times. They told me if the customer does not answer in 30 days they would not do anything involving the accident. On October 31,2022 I was hit by a person that is insured through American Alliance with is with Insure One. I call Insure One and they would not give any information on the thrid party insurance. I did not know that American Alliance was the insurance company until I received a status investigation of accident claimant on Dec 20, 2022. I filed a claim and provided the police report that had all parties involved statements and information to the insurance company. Per the police report, the owner of the vehicle was in the passenger seat at the time of the crash and his girlfriend was driving the vehicle. Months passed and I never heard back from this company so I reached out to them to check the status of the claim. I was informed that they will not move fwd with the claim until they got a statement from the Girlfriend. I confirmed with them if they had spoken to and gotten a statement from the vehicle owner and policyholder and they confirmed they did. I confirmed with them if they had received and verified the police report and they confirmed they did. But they are telling me that they can not move fwd with the claim until they hear from the girlfriend even though they already have the police report and have spoken to the actual vehicle owner and policyholder. It is now August 9th, well past the 45-day *** per *** law. And they have informed me that they are declining the claim due to them not being able to contact the girlfriend and get a statement when she is not the policyholder. From everything I have researched, what they are doing is not only illegal but also borderline fraudulent activity. The statement from the actual policyholder and the "police report document" is all they need to process this claim, they cannot deny service based on them not directly hearing from a person who is not the account holder. The police documented statement alone should have been more than enough for this claim to be processed. And the vehicle is insured, not the driver. the vehicle owner and policyholder were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. and he obviously gave permission to his girlfriend to drive. October 3,2022 I was carjacked, in the front of my residence. I contacted American Alliance as soon as my vehicle was taken also, when I received a letter from CPD that my vehicle retrieved I made the company aware as well. I had full a coverage policy with this company which was active at the time of the carjacking. Then I waited another week and I was given the same excuse. I then emailed management to get the claimed approved, they replied and said they were going to process. I waited another weeks and nobody called. Secretaty Of State has suspended my dirivers license for an accident that occurred 03/02. Secretary of State stated i need a General Release form Signed and Notarized from American Alliance Casualty CompanyAACC. This company AACC does not have a walk in to service customer only telephone. I have been contacting company since December 27 2022 I talked to several representatives and leave message Representatives say I will receive a call from the appropriate personnel /Department and I have not. I must add on every call the wait is 40min - 1hour for someone to answer. Today January 16 2023 I called three times they transfer me to wrong department or call drops. Thankfully the wait has been better than previous times wait is 30 - 45 minutes. As I type this I am currently on wait. The claim number is 2019C0070497. I have full coverage with this insurance for my car, *** Tucson 2020. In April 2022, my car was crashed into while it was parked. I filed an insurance claim with the insurance, it was approved for an initial amount of $6,234.10, which included my $500 deductible. They gave me a list of auto body shops that I could go to to get my car fixed. After trying to contact the body shops to set up an appointment they either stated that they were not accepting anymore claims from the insurance due to already have a lot, or they had a 2-3 month waiting list that I could get on just to get my car seen and then 2-3 months to get my car fixed, or they had didnt have appointments available until 2-3 months and they had a waiting list but that was full and werent adding more people to the waiting list. I contacted the insurance and told them about my issue and they stated that they had no control over the time frames or if the body shops were accepting their claims. I asked if I could take my car to a body shop that is not on the list they gave me. They stated that I could however I would be responsible for the difference if the cost is more than what they cover. I didnt think there would be a huge difference in costs. After getting some estimates from other body shops their estimates came back twice as much as what American Alliance gave me. They also stated that they did not work with the insurance due to them paying about 50% less than the national average for the labor rate. American Alliance pays $22 per hour, the national average is $55 per hour. I then contacted the insurance back to see if they could pay more so that my car gets fixed and plus I have full coverage on my car. They stated that they will not pay more and that it will be my responsibility to pay the difference if I wanted to go with a body shop that they dont work with. I just want my car to get fixed or if needed for them to replace my car. Its about to be 4 months since my car got crashed.

I have been insured with American Alliance for 5years with full coverage with a $500 deductible. I had an accident while traveling and was about 250 miles from home on a weekend. I bought a wheel and tire at a junk yard to get the car home to file the claim. I discovered that there was more than body damage but also damage to the suspension. As I had to be back to the area on Monday I had minimal repairs done so that I fouled safely drive the car back. I reported the accident upon return and was told to take it to their repair facility which I did. I found out their repair facility didnt produce a valid estimate. I tried multiple times to talk to American about the issue and their only response was that I had to get a supplemental estimate. It took me nearly a month to finally have that explained that I had to take it again to their repair facility. I was given an appointment 3 1/2 months out. After again multiple phone calls and being on hold for nearly an hour they finally agreed to give me a list of other facilities. I was able to make an appointment for two weeks out and the car was in the shop for 5 weeks. I got the car back but because the repair facility didnt replace the inner fender but used a liner the tire rubs every time I turn the wheel. I submitted the bills for the repair that I had done prior to the body shop which came to $1468 and they refused to reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses. I paid the body shop a $500 deductible and now I am out of pocket for $2000 on a $500 deductible. They sent me a check for $519 and said that because I had the minimal repair down south that is all they would reimburse me. They did not send me any itemized list as to how they arrived at that figure. Yea was hung up on multiple times from this company and their customer service people are rude nasty and dismissive. They kept saying that they are operating without n the law and they can require that I can be required to take to their repair facility.

I filed a claim with this company on October 24, 2022 to get my car repaired which had been stolen & damaged. The rep told me that an insurance adjuster would come out ti my home to look at the damages but no one ever came even though I called several times to inquire when the adjuster would come. After missing work 3 days, I took the car to an auto shop to begin repairs at my own expense just to get the car running so I could go to work. Meanwhile I used the company's app to upload pictures & a video of the damages. On 11/10/22 I received a letter from the company stating "Our company will not be making any payment regarding the loss for the reason that: the amount of your claim is less than the $500 deductible amount of your comprehensive coverage." There was an estimate from an auto shop for $483 included with the letter. (Apparently the ins. *** had sent the pics to an auto shop to get an estimate. To date, no adjuster has ever inspected the vehicle.) Upon noticing that the damages to my bumper were not included on the estimate, which significantly lowered the damage estimates, I reached out to the ins. *** by email to inquire why the bumper damages were not included on the estimate to which they could provide no *** stated that they could not add the damages unless I took the vehicle to their recommended auto repair shop to have the bumper added as a supplement, which I did. The auto shop faxed over a new estimate, however they stated they could not begin repairs on my car until February 2023. Now the ins. *** is stating that they cannot approve the supplement until the auto repair shop can start the repairs - which is 3 months away. The bumper damage should not be considered a "supplement", it is the main part of the claim. I would like a complete estimate that includes all of my car's damages - not a piece meal estimate that lowballs the damages so this company can avoid covering or delaying payment on their portion of the claim.

I then contacted the company and they opened a claim. From the beginning I was feed misinformation about how to go about seeking medical treatment for my injuries, right down to getting my vehicle repaired, it seems that everyone you talk to at this company gives you the run-around and never returns/follows up on promises of a call back with claim status updates. In the meantime, in waiting for a response I went to undergo the necessary medical treatment for my injuries as I was advised to do. After a week or so I called just to check the status of my claim and they informed me they received all the necessary information requested of me, but also informed me that their insured had not yet responded back to them, but they would check to see what the hold up was. The representative did go on to state, that they could still probably just move ahead with the processing of the claim because I had already provided my statement, they obtained a copy of the police report, and I also submitted pictures of my vehicle's damage as well. Then I finally reached out again on 8/23/22 to check the status of my claim because I was growing impatient with their response time and the representative told me that my claim was denied because the insurer failed to comply with the terms of her policy by not responding to calls and letters to provide her statement within 30 days. Why is that my fault? I compiled and provided everything that they requested of me. I then decided to send an email in hopes of a better explanation for the denial of claim coverage, or even perhaps a different decision outcome response, and I received this message instead in return: (please see attachment) This company is deceitful and unethical to say the very least, and I am very upset with the treatment I've received.

On April 9th *** handling this situation. I provided all the paperwork that was needed the entire process with them has been so stressful to every part of my life. I get no help at all from them and i don't understand why and they won't give me a real clear reason why they denied me because the reason their stating is not adding up and they not trying to prove any of that information to me. I've only had two jobs since I've been with them which don't matter because I'm entitled to do whatever job with the car that I miss no payments and go to work everyday for. They're words/email were "We are fully aware that you have a full time job After documenting information from the multiple contacts you made with this company, activity as a makeup artist is a change of risk-per condition 2 of your policy" Only true statement in that email is me calling all the time due to them not doing their job and i need answers everything else is far from the truth they would ask me 1 question a week when i reach out to them and every time i answered it i had to wait 5-7 business days for a respond going into another question not one of the questions were ever about my car and they were illiterate responses from every agent i spoke with May 23rd early morning was the only call back about the case it was only to deny me after lending me on to thinking I'm waiting for them send everything i need to start on my car but agent i spoke with was out of this world rude and disrespectful to me from the sec i picked up.Not one agent give me any kind of real honest help they all lied and asked all questions that has nothing to do with my hit&run report, no one from this company ever asked what is my occupation and that its in m policy stating that my job can be the reason of my claim being denied.I'm trying to get legal help to take this court they also haven't sent out any mail stating any of this or anything else.

I got into an accident with their client. Per police report I'm not at fault. They are a business trying to get away with paying as little as possible so they inconsistently pin faults on me. The fault in the offer letter differs from the adjusters email which differs from corporate email! How can you be consistent of holding me 25% liable when you can't even agree on which fault to pin on me! I obviously still don't agree with the offer and estimate.Communication is terrible. I was told that I don't have to reach out anymore on 02/10, that the claim should be finalized in 1-2days, and the company will be reaching out to me. I asked what form of communication will it be. I was told via phonecall or email. I asked not by paper mail? They said not likely unless I request it. And I said no, I don't request it. I prefer email/phone call. I waited 6 days before reaching out again. I was told it was finalized 5 days ago! I was never contacted!My mechanic sent an invoice for supplement payment to which the company responded back to him VIA EMAIL that the car is now a total loss. I only found out about it because my mechanic forwarded the response to me. I emailed corporate and they told me that that communication was not meant for me and notice of car loss has been mailed out. If you can email my mechanic, why can't you email me? Mailing takes 2 weeks! Mind you, I'm renting a car since the day the claim has been approved for which your company has agreed to give me compensation for! And now I have to sit here twiddling my thumbs waiting for 2 weeks for the notice to get to know the details? Are you kidding me? If you expect me to wait 2 weeks for this notice, I want complete compensation for rental! Absolutely ridiculous. I get it you're a business, but a business is nothing without consumers. From reviews, you give your own clients a hard time too! I will gladly take this to the media so everyone is aware, all your clients too. I even have all the call recordings.

Hello! I had an accident on February 28th, 2022 and have been dealing with my insurance company(American Alliance Casualty Company) over the total loss of my vehicle. It took them 3 months to get a police report! Then they send me a valuation summary of my vehicle with my mileage being unknown. I found my last oil change with my mileage, and my vehicle price went up by $3,000. My vehicle was valued assuming the average mileage was *** since I had a 2015 *** when in reality my vehicle only had ***. Every time I call they say "5-7 days," for any information that I need. A fax apparently takes the same amount of time as well to be received.. I exhausted through my savings because I have been renting a car out of pocket for 5 months now. This is very unprofessional of them. My valuation summary report also stated that I did not have a back up camera on my vehicle when in fact I did. If you read through their reviews you will find that people had the same situations as me. This car insurance company is the worst of the worst and they need to be investigated. So for 5 months now I have been paying a $313 car payment for a car that I haven't had since February 28th, 2022 and $100 a month for insurance for a car that was a total loss. Every time you call them you get a different person so your not dealing directly with one person the duration of your claim. If you wish to speak with a manager they give you an email address to send your concerns. This is totally unacceptable with how the economy is at this time. An insurance company is supposed to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible so that you can go about your daily life. 5 months for a claim that is not resolved is unacceptable. I should have taken the time to read their reviews before going with American Alliance Casualty Company. This needs to be addressed and a thorough investigation needs to be done not only for myself, but the other people who have expressed their concerns in the reviews.

My name is [redacted] and I own a 2018 Kia [redacted]. My vehicle was stolen twice; first on Nov 13, and then again right in front of my house. I had insurance with American Alliance and my claim number is 2022CO133976. I've filed two claims for both incidents. Now, without a vehicle for a long time, American Alliance retrieved the car from impound and requested a notarized affidavit, a bill of sale, or title, and the car key. I submitted all the requested documents to their P.O. Box. Despite providing the car key and title, I'm getting the runaround about my vehicle. I obtained a police report for 50 cents and emailed it to them. They acknowledged receipt on December 9 and mentioned a 5-7 day verification period. Despite repeated calls, no one, including an adjuster, has contacted me. Now they're asking for a letter of experience from my previous insurer. As a single mom, this has been challenging without a rental option. I've exhausted my savings and have to Uber to work, which is costly. The stress has led to hospital visits for high blood pressure. My three kids and I missed celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas. I hope to purchase a less theft-prone vehicle and live without fear. The company should either repair my vehicle to working condition or compensate me for its cash value. They now have the police reports, title, and everything else, yet I feel robbed.

In August, the catalytic convertor was stolen off my car, we had to get the car towed to our family auto shop, who have been working on our cars for 30 years. Once we found out what was done, we filed a police report and contacted *** who told us we had to contact American Alliance Causality, where it took a week and a half to send out an adjustor to look at my car. The adjustor looked at the car and left the shop without even talking to the owner, didn't ask for an estimate or anything else. The owner of the shop gave me the estimate to have the factory convertor and parts replaced if we didn't use the factory parts the car wouldn't operate properly and check engine lights would come on, (Autotime ***, ***, owner) HIs estimate was $3633.57. A week later American Alliance notified us through a letter that it wasn't going to cover my claim because it was under my $500 deductible, I immediately contacted *** of American Alliance ***, after several attempts via voice message, she finally returned my calls and stated that the company will not be covering the cost because it was under the deductible, if i wanted to continue the matter I had to submit the estimate and the original police report, of which I complied several times by email. Meanwhile the shop owner told us that there would be a 3 month backorder on the parts to be repaired, repairs were completed first week in Dec and I paid the full amount to have the car repaired. *** VP of claims, ***, told me it would be futile to pursue this claim. So I had no other choice but to contact you and if needed the states attorneys office to find a resolution to this problem. We have had this insurance company for over 10 years and this is the first claim and only claim we made. All my family asks if for what we paid for, insurance coverage, we were robbed by one thief and then by another one in a suit. Claim # ***C0111706
