This is interesting, but I think the information is wrong. York Galland doensn't own a company by the name of Performance Products.

I just like the person before me, figured if Oprah endorsed it, it must be good. The website I visited said the 30 day sample was free but I needed to send $4.85 to cover postage and handling. Well the very next day $44.85 was deducted from my account. I managed to get their number and I've been calling for two days now with no luck. I keep getting the stupid recording saying the due to a large volume of calls my call cannot be answered and to try again latter. I want these people prosecuted! Give me back my Money Now!

> We appreciate forums such as Complaints Board that allow for customers of all products to vent or state their beliefs concerning a given product. We look at it as a great opportunity for us to share our vision and see it only as a positive. We understand your issue and acknowledge there have been others who have shared your same frustration. We recognize we are not perfect, but we are always seeking perfection.
>
> We would like to take a moment and outline our whole marketing concept and emphasize it is very clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions and made readily available and we actually require persons to verify it has been read BEFORE one chooses to take our sample. We offer (Acai, Hoodia, Green Tea, Colon), a tremendously healthy product, in a trial size, at a greatly reduced price, in order to allow more people an opportunity to try our healthy product that would otherwise never had had the chance. In doing so, our intent is that when an individual tries our sample, they can make a decision as to whether or not they would like to continue to receive the product on a monthly basis. If they like the product, they do nothing and the product continues to come each month. If they choose they no longer want the product, no problem, all they have to do is go to the web address on the bottle (www.gohelpnow.com) and simply cancel the product. This usually takes less than 5 minutes.
>
> We strive to do everything possible to make the product cancellation experience as easy and fast as possible for our customers. In the spirit of good customer relations, we have created a specific avenue for all who wish to give their feedback directly to us by visiting our Customer Support website and clicking on the "We Want to Hear From You" button. We hope this helps to clarify any misconceptions and invite any and all to visit our Customer Support website (www.gohelpnow.com), available 24/7/365 a week, for more information.

Company information:
Performance Health USA,
PO BOX 971090
Orem, Utah
United States

I ordered the sample Green Tea pills for appox. $3.95. After the order was placed I received an email confirmation where it stated I would be charged. No where when ordering was there an accepted statement saying I would be charged on a regular basis for $79.95. Immediately, I emailed the company stating I did not ask for a monthly supply and to stop the process. My account was billed anyway. I received an email after speaking with the company on the process of returning the pills once they arrive (see below).

I keep getting orders that I did not authorize or ask for. I had money deducted from my account for $74.76. Either I get my money back and you stop sending me these pills, orI am going to contact the Ohio Attorney General.

I sent for a FREE sample of AcaiBerries, paying $5.87 for shipping & handling. Since then, our Mastercard has been charged $74.76 two times for 2 orders that I have NOT ORDERED. There is no return address on the package when sent. We have contacted our Mastercard and asked that they no longer accept this charge from these scam artists !

I didn't know that I was going to be charged and shipped out more of the product. I called and was instructed to go to the website. That is where I found all the information I needed. To cancel and why i was getting charged the home delivery plan. Well if I order anything else for the internet I will read more carefully.

When I read the terms and conditions that were in the site were I ordered the sample it did state that I had 30 day to get the product back to them in order to get a refund I had to pay for the shipment which was like $2.89 to ship it back to them, but it go there on time and I got my refund. So as long as you sent them the product back on time you will get your refund. Well I think in the terms it said that you can only send one unopened product for a refund. All you have to do is read the terms and conditions.

I read the terms and conditions that were provided on the website were I ordered the sample because I have been scammed in the past. After I read them I did order the sample and I think the product works. It may not be for everybody. If you have questions about how to cancel just go to the terms and conditions.

I ordered a free sample of a product from Performance Health USA. I received the sample and then received 2 shipments of the product. I did not authorize these 2 shipments. They have billed me $74.95 each time. I called their number, [protected], and was told to go to their website, www.gohelpnow.com. This is not a good website. I want these shipments to stop and want my money back. What do I do to resolve this matter ?

What I have noticed that there are many companies that sell the Acai berries, green tea as well as other health products. I kind of felt bad to silly when I contacted the wrong company. So what I did was to make sure that I did have the right company first. When I found the right company I go everything straightened out. They explained to me what the charges were for and they were very nice to let me know where the information was found. After reading the terms and conditions with them I understood and cancelled. They also let me know that every customer could cancel out of everything online.

I agree totally with this person, about getting ripped off, and taken advantaged of, and a company taking money that has not been authorized to be theirs to start with. When is this going to stop? Who is going to stop this absurdity?
