I purchased 5 dresses for 189.99$ from petallush on 9/5/23. Typically, clothing orders I have placed elsewhere over the past year are delivered within a week. It took over 2 weeks for an update on the tracking information and I even emailed the company on 9/17/23 to check on the status of my order and got a vague response. I finally received my order over 2 weeks from making the purchase, I found it odd for such a simple purchase to take so long to deliver. This was the first red plag. Unfortunately I don’t like any of the dresses but one due to the fit and material. I emailed the company on 9/24/23 to let them know I want to return the dresses (As it states to do so on the website) - I was told one of the dresses cannot be returned because it is final sale - it did not state this on the website when I ordered or on my receipt. Then I was told “Would you mind sharing with us which part of the item do you think doesn't fit? It helps us to know the best of our products so we can work toward improvements.
As to your return request, would it be a considered solution that we refund you $35 to your original payment account that you used to pay before as compensation and you keep the other 3 items without return? If a partial refund is unacceptable, how about you keep the item without return/ exchange and we offer you a $116 gift card? It will be a form of a discount code which can be used to offset the amount of the product/s in your next order, excluding the shipping fee. And please note that it can only be used in one order.
Please consider it.” I responded on 9/25/23 by going into more detail as to why I didn’t like the dresses (don’t fit well, too baggy, loud material and cheap looking) and told them I do not want a partial refund, I want a full refund. I sent another message later in the day due to no response. I finally got a response on 9/26 at 1256 am that said “Sorry for the waiting.
Are you satisfied with the quality of the product/s?
If neither of these two options is acceptable, is it acceptable for us to refund you half of the exact price you paid for the item/s, i.e. $58 in total, and then you keep the item/s without refund/ exchange?” I replied stating no-I want a full refund and have not received a response. This has been the most difficult process I have ever been through in regards to returning clothing items and seems as if this is a fraudulent company
Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded 100% due to fraudulent company
