Nightmare !
Pet Mountain sent me a defective light unit with a used bulb (dark bands on ends)- neither worked. I called Pet Mountain and learned of their irritatingly inconvenient return policy. I guess I eat $60, an expensive lesson learned : NEVER ORDER FROM PET MOUNTAIN AGAIN ! Also, shipping took super long, only to be totally dissatisfied.
Defective T5 UVB fixture with a used up bulb -neither worked.
Recommendation: Shop elsewhere if you want products that are unused and not broken

Last year I left a review bashing PetMountain because I was pretty mad. My order wasn't all there! Who likes that?! But, I suppose you can't get it right all the time. PetMountain went and made it right by sending me the rest of my order. I was pretty surprised, but also pretty happy. Since then, my experience with them has been great. I always order for my pups and my tortoises. I try to get as much as I can when it's in stock so I don't have to worry about it again. The prices are the best I've found, too. I just want to give a shout out to petmountain.com, this site is legit! I was on a mission to stock up on more pork chomps for my dog. She loves these things, but with corona virus going around, I'm trying to avoid going out in public as much as possible. I didn't know what to expect, but I was happy to see that the price was only $16. It beats the $25-$30 that I usually pay at the pet store! With the great price, I was hesitant to order but after reading a few reviews, I decided to take a risk. I'm glad I did!
From placing my order, pet mountain took about a week to deliver my package. I was a bit worried, but everything arrived in perfect condition. No one wants to give their furry friend anything that has expired or is nearly expired. However, I was glad to see that all the products I received were not expiring anytime soon. This made me happy because I want my pet to have fresh products.

I got some parrot toys from PetMountain.com. I spent $70 on them. When I got the package from the delivery person it had a funky smell. I opened it up and the toys looked used like some other bird had been playing with them. I knew I had to return them so I put the whole box outside to get some fresh air.
I went to the website to start my return. It said I had either 30 or 60 days to do it depending on which page you looked at. Kind of confusing if you ask me. They said I could send it back with any delivery service I wanted. I made sure to get that in writing so they couldn't change their mind later.

Bought some Tetra koi food from PetMountain.com and thought it was a great deal. But to my disappointment, my koi didn't even touch the stuff! Every little pellet was still floating on the surface of my pond the next morning. Worried about my fish, I decided to try giving the food to my perch and catfish in my big pond. But to my surprise, the catfish wouldn't even touch the food either.
I contacted Pet Mountain customer service about returning the food and receiving a refund, but they told me I had to take it to FedX. But here's the thing, it's Pet Mountain's fault, so they should come and pick up the food themselves! They even had the nerve to suggest that there was something wrong with my fish, and that's why they don't like Tetra. But my husband built our first pond way back in 1985, and we've been using Tetra products ever since. We've never had a problem before!
So now I'm wondering, how can I get these guys to replace the food that my fish need to survive? In the meantime, I'm feeding my fish some cheap catfish food, which makes the water dirty and cloudy. Ugh, it's just frustrating!

I've gotta be honest, my experience with PetMountain hasn't been the best. As a first-time customer, I was pretty disappointed when my order came in and it was damaged. Terrible Shipping and Service from Pet Mountain for WEE WEE Pads - Buyer Beware!
So, I bought 1600 Four Paws WEE WEE pads from PetMountain. Yo, I did it online on 3/12/19. But guess what y'all? They shipped it in two shipments. The first one came on 03/20 all busted and messed up. They taped four boxes of 200 each and they had no protection, ain't that just trash? So, Pet Mountain sent FedEx dude on 3/21 to come pick the messed up packages. But, here comes the funny part, FedEx came on 3/22 with the other 800 pads shipped the same messed up way all wrecked up and destroyed again. What a joke, right? I refused to take the delivery, and FedEx had me sign a paper saying it was all jacked up. The dude who works for Pet Mountain named Nick told me that they could see the issue in their system. The whole thing was a mess, but get this one, they charged me a total of $370.16 for all that stuff.
Now, listen to this, I was waiting for my refund for ages, not until 3/28/19, that's like 7 days later until they credited me $185.08 back to my card. That's half of what they charged me. Can y'all believe they were charging me for merchandise they messed up, that I never even had since the 3/21 and 2/22? They are taking advantage of me, and I ain't gonna stand for it. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company right now! Y'all believe that this is the third time I had trouble with their shipping? That's it, I'm never purchasing from them again!

And to make matters worse, their customer service line is completely non-functional - calls either go straight to voicemail or put you on hold for an eternity before sending you to voicemail. This is not how a legitimate company should operate.
The fact that your response is so dismissive and unprofessional only reinforces our belief that PetMountain is a terrible company that doesn't care about its customers. We hope that other potential customers read our review and avoid ordering from such an awful company.
