Buying a puppy
Last year I bought a puppy from Kacy Brien 2 halebank Avenue Manchester M20 1 EG. The advert stated that the puppy was a lhasa/Bischon cross after a dna test my dog turns out to be, 50% Chihuahua, the rest is poodle and Lhasa. Her ad also said there would be other items included, we never got the toy, next worm tablet or the puppy pads. Very disapointed about this we expect adverts for puppies for sale on pets4homes to be totally genuine but obviouly they are not!

Withholding cancelled deposit
I paid nearly £200 deposit for a puppy but the seller cancelled (mutually agreed) to cancel this. I received an email from Pets4homes on 02/04/21 to say that my deposit would be refunded within 4 working days. Just about a week later I still hadn't received my refund. I contacted Pets4homes who said there was a problem with Mangopay who they use for deposits and I would have to wait. It has now been 4 weeks and I have still not received my refund.
I have contacted both Pets4homes and Mangopay and I am getting nowhere. Unfortunately, I am not the only one as there are now numerous bad reviews on trust pilot with people complaining about this.
As it is now 4 weeks I am now worried that this is a scam or that they are about to go bankrupt or something.

I have been using pets4homes now for over 4 years someone is reporting my ads and now pets4homes as blocked mine my friends and family accounts for "No reason" they have asked me for proof of ownership of my dog and proof of address and d.o.b which I have gave still had no reply after 7 emails to them it's all been very stressful and upsetting if I'm honest I want to give my pups good loving home and that's why I have always used pets4homes and because it's safe to do so on there there way iv been treated is unfair and seems like mine my friends and my family's ads are being "looked for" if I'm honest it's really confusing as I no I'm not doing anything wrong.

Hi. Where do I start? This year we used Pets4homes to advertise our litter of Northern Inuit puppies (8 in total). Our advert got disabled as we had put them into three categories (Northern Inuit, Siberian Husky and German shepherd). This was done as Northern Inuits are a mix of those two breeds and we wanted to get as wide an audience as possible. After dialogue with customer service they told us that we should advertise them as 'mixed breed' and only use on category. Now then, we notice that other litters are allowed to advertise in multiple categories so why are they discriminating against us?
Part 2, (it got much much worse). Due to security concerns in the UK right now we put an address that is down the road (The postal office) and do not allow our phone number on the advert. This is so that criminals cannot trace us. Instead we share a link to our facebook profile so that we can vet prospective candidates for our puppies. Only Pets4homes staff have access to our phone number. A serial conwoman by the name of Natalie Gemma Rivers came over to our Facebook from Pets4homes (she used a different name) and continuously tried to get our address and phone number. Our vetting process is quite complex and on the surface she seemed 'okay' though had many emotionally charged stories that actually made us feel sorry for her until we found out her motives. Once we discovered her true identity she was removed from our vetting process and informed that we would never home any of our puppies with a convicted animal abuser.
Shortly after, our account on Pets4homes was disabled along with slanderous allegations on the Northern Inuit Society Facebook page that we are running a scam and are to be avoided (posted by Julie Kelham {We have the evidence of this defamation}). I contacted Pets4homes to clear up any misunderstandings but after the 15th email with no reply we saw an issue. After long dialogue with Julie Kelham about the illegality of her actions we discovered that it was her that had been reporting us to pets4homes for false reasons...but this is where it gets even worse...we started getting phone calls off the criminal gangs. Now then, Julie has not got access to our number. Natalie was never given our number. Only Pets4homes ever had our number and it was supposed to be hidden from the advert.
1. We have been discriminated against with regards to advertising.
2. We have been subjected to a guilty until proven innocent trial
3. We have been defamed and slandered by people who seem to have influence within the pets4homes organisation
4. Our sensitive information has somehow found its way to criminal gangs (that only pets4 homes had access to)
5. Pets4homes have not responded to 15 emails, which were pleas to seek truth. They have my phone number and could easily sort this out at any time.
6. Pets4homes have caused myself and my family untold stress and have in their actions against us, added unfounded weight to the slanderous allegations made by Julie Kelham and the Northern Inuit Society.
Desired outcome: To have our account and adverts reinstated and our security measures to be honoured. Also for them to investigate the false allegations against us fully and apologise for punishing us unfairly

Account blocked
I had been sending out messages to promote my services. Pets4Homes emailed me to say I needed to upgrade my account as I had reached the maximum allowed. I paid the money and upgraded. I then continued to send the generic message and they blocked my account due to suspiciously high activity. I contacted pets4homes to advise that it was in fact me that had sent them and they unblocked and apologised for the inconvenience. Since that my account has been repeatedly blocked and unblocked. However... my account has now been blocked since at least 14th March despite numerous emails from me to pets4homes requesting them to unblock it and haven't even had a reply?!

I paid then shortly after they blocked me I sent over 15 emails to which I got no response!
Since created another account to advertise my litter and of course this has been blocked as it’s a delicate! But what more can I do?

Doberman puppy advert
They have closed my account until I send a breeders licence, I have only placed one add, but amended a few times, and then for the last pup I boosted the add for £12, that was when they closed it. On 14th March I sent them a email explaining this, since then I have sent other emails and tried to message through Facebook but they say on the to email on the same number I did. They are not replying to me and I can not find a phone number. They have taken my £12 so I have raised a Paypal complaint to get my money back hoping that will get them to contact me.

Hy, im very outrage to be honest, this site banned my advert because they said im selling an imported pet, considering the fact that im living in uk for 6 years and i wosent seling my pet i put for sale the puppies wich clearly said in the advert, (puppy's)i have an imported female wich i breed here with a male from UK, then they say if she has uk microchip (discrimination for a dog) as long as she is having a microchip and she is registered
what is the problem?!?!? interesting... then i tell them that the puppies have uk microchip and apparently is still not ok, so what is the real reason actually?!?! Im honestly very disappointed to see something like this, discrimination and racism for a pet... I never thought i can see something more ridiculous apparently i whose rong the vet is not discriminating my dog, the pet shop from where im buying the food for the dog is not discriminating mi dog, why is a site doing this?!?! What is the real reason?

Deposit scheme
I recently had to re-home my pet bird through pets4homes the buyer sent a deposit over through pets4homes and then drove down the following day. The buyer agreed to release me the funds and pets4homes emailed me to say that I had to send proof. I did this and heard nothing. Contacted them a week after and said it was never received send again, so I did they said it wasn't acceptable as corner of my passport was missing so sent again this is now coming on for a month they have held my money for. They then said yes picture was fine now so again I asked where the money was yet again they said they had to send the photo somewhere else and it goes on. How they can loose an email with someone's passport on and then carry on asking for more i'll never know. Then when I asked them to call me or for a number for them they say they don't deal over the phone?! It seems excuse after excuse and as said a month on and still nothing. Do not use them please listen as I wouldn't want you to go through the same.

Account banning
So pets4homes have banned my account so I cannot post any adverts on. The reason they gave was because I have a ‘Duplicate account'. I have sent them so many emails asking and asking for someone to reply to me but there has been no response. My wife had an account which they also banned for that one they gave ‘No reason' she has also sent them several emails asking them why they have blocked her. Again no response and that was now nearly a month ago. So when they told me that my account was ‘on hold' I was very confused as I know I have no other account except the one I was using. So the other answer I had was that it must have been my wife's account that they are saying it's a duplicate one, but they have banned that one. Even though my wife has asked them to close it. There's has been absolutely no response. So pets4homes have banned my wife's account no response for nearly a month. And now they have banned my account which I used to advertise some kittens I still have them as I can't put them online. When I try and communicate with them they completely ignore me. I would like them to tell me which duplicate account I have? If it is my wife's they can close it. And I would like my account back as this is really not fair, they have completely left me without an account. They even said if I tried to make another one they will completely ban me. This is very upsetting for me as I haven't done anything wrong. The worst thing is they don't reply to you, they completely ignore me.

Banned account
Pets4Homes have banned my account within any explanation. The only reason they are giving me is ‘No Reason' I don't understand how they banned me without telling me what the issue is. I had an advert on they just deleted it and removed it. I have sent them several emails asking why but there has been absolutely no response. This is very frustrating and upsetting. My deposit not received
My name is Julie goble I had puppies on your site one of my customers paua 20% deposit on your site I asked buyer to release to me then I tried to release the money to my bank it didn't show up onmy bank so I then contacted you and you told me to allow 4 working days which I did. I still haven't received my £240. So I then contacted you this morning you told me I haven't asked for payment which I have as I had to take photo of my driving licence front and back to get my money. So you told me to apply for my refund so I did and it says my account is pending the driving licence hasn't been confirmed so I can't even apply for it again anyway. False information and address details hull

Deposit issue
On 5th November I have placed a deposit and fee on Pet4home of £436, to buy a puppy through them, unfortunately on 27th December the seller has informed that her account in Pet4home has been blocked, so I email to Pet4home to claim my deposit refund, I have received a email from them to inform that they are happy to refund the deposit and fee due to no fault of mine own. Since then I have email them to claim my deposit, and instead I only have received excuse, excuse and excuse, please see below the last two email I have received lately.

Unfortunately the refund process is completed by our third party payment provider which means that we have no influence on how long the refund can take to process. I have reached out to the third party payment provider to ask them to hurry this process up, but have not heard from them as of yet.

Complaining about my deleted advert
We have stunning, healthy imported male Doberman from Russia, (cropped and docked). And we can not post advert for stud because in pictures there is visual cropped ears.
Ok, we upload pictures with covered ears and it was deleted, admin explained that my imported dog have no right to have advert on this page because of his looks and does not mater is it visual or not in the picture. Its upsetting and discriminating!
PS: whats going to happen with cropped or docked dogs from another adverts? Some of them unfortunate was looking for safe and loving home, and now they can not do this! Did someone think about them?!

My advert being suspended without explanation and with absolutely no need to do so
Even after going through the vetting process and providing jpeg folders with photos of my passport etc Pets4Homes have cancelled my ad even after it being on for weeks and myself twice bumping the ad costing £24 they have removed it without giving me a Reason and despite numerous emails from myself there has been no response from them.
I have two puppies left and need to have the ad reinstated so I can find there new homes as they are due to be old enough to leave soon . We have had deposits down on the rest of our puppies and the new soon to be owners are happy so I do not understand why the ad has been suspended .

Safety deposit
Pets4Homes is meant to offer a safe place for your deposit. The seller rejected my deposit £200 plus £18 admin charge.
Pets4Homes have kept my deposit and keep saying it's in the process!
This is not a safe place to put a deposit.
Their website states that a deposit will be returned within 4 working day's it's now been more than double that.
They are saying they can't get the deposit back from the 3rd party they use.
This isn't my fault Pets4Homes took the deposit they should reimburse and then take it up with whomever they use to look after it.

Puppy Advert - French Bulldog
I was scammed out of £1, 800 from a seller who advertised on your website. They communicated with me, sent me pictures, videos and phone calls. They used COVID and social distancing to their advantage. They arranged delivery and sent me a contract once everything was sealed and money sent they disappeared. Unfortunately my money is now gone and I most likely will no longer be able to afford a puppy for a while as I saved up so long for this but I hope I can save someone else from experiencing this. It's so heartbreaking I cried for days. I can provide all proof needed.
