Constant mailings promising huge cheques
Gigantic printing on envelope and first sheet of mailing reading something like: "you have won a cheque for £143, 000". In side the various pages' small print says you have won a "guaranteed cheque" which turns out to be a "1.50 discount token on your next order". The remaining pages are printed in small to very small print and imply "you do not have to place an order but if you do your guaranteed winnings will reach you faster". There is a number specific to the recipient that will win you the prize if it matches that number drawn by legal officer: this number has 9 digits so, even if this is a genuine offer, the recipient has a 1 in millions chance of winning! The order form usually lists 2 or 3 very special suggested offers and also if your order is over a certain amount you will receive for free a valuable gift (Sic!). My 92-year old mother is convinced she has definitely won the money and won't be dissuaded by my going through the small print and feel she has to order something at a very high price as the prize is apparently also very large. She then insists, despite her being registered blind, on writing a letter of thanks. Needless to say when the over-priced and unnecessary boxes of ordered items arrive they include 4 or 5 more envelopes offering the same competition! Needless to say she has not received this winning cheque and the usual statement in the paper work that "you will be very lucky to win this money" is ironically very true.
Cash prize Draw
I Believe These people have already scammed me under the name Gourmet Kitchen by post recently.I received a prize draw letter this morning 4/08/2014 stating I have won £128, 428.60 in a EURO PRIZE.
All the paperwork looks very similar to that of Gourmet Kitchen and I am keeping it all together for my proof.
The un-stamped reply envelope has the return address of: PHYDERMA
PARIS
Box 7
3 Lombard Street East
Dublin 2
Ireland With: UPPE084A printed at bottom left of envelope. I hope this can be of help as I had to transfer fund's from my bank account after they had taken monies on 25/7/2014.
Many Regards,
Mike Heeley.

My 82 year old Mum is practically bankrupt on looking at her bank statement these companies have taken £800 in June alone and approximately £10 000 over the last 18 months.
Any advice would be welcome
John
January 2017 and I'm afraid it is still going on, Vital Nature, Gourmet Foods and Phyderma are all trade names against the same address and documentation layouts. Just had to cancel my fathers debit cards. A relatively small loss but one he can ill afford! Take care.
Do not order, scam still going on from France, my 82 year old mother has been bombarded with calls and letters promising her cheques of over £100k. She has been taken in and continues to order in the hope that this time she will be the winner. It has all recently come to light after another France based company Vital nature duped her of £100 and when she returned the goods as wasn't her usual order they will not return her money. Please stay clear of these companies as they are clearly preying on the elderly. My mum has learnt a hard lesson here
My 91-year-old, registered blind mother has been inundated with these kind of mailings and always believes they must be true as they wouldn't promise something were it to be false! When the ordered stuff arrives, without (surprise, surprise!) the promised cheque it is I who is to blame as "I must have filled in the form incorrectly". We have a fine collection of cardboard boxes and an even greater collection of basically unwanted and hugely overpriced items: soaps, gels, shampoos, skin lotions, face-creams to reduce wrinkling etc! I almost dread coming home in the late morning after my shopping trips and computer catch-ups in case there is another mountain of boxes outside the door to our flat. It seems to me that our whole life is revolving around PHYDERMA, VITAL NATURE, NATURAL BEAUTY etc. etc! Afternoons are spent looking through all the paperwork and so-called catalogues to make sure an order is placed. I point out the small print that "an order is optional" but she then says that if she does not place an order her claim for the £43, 000++ or £168, 000+++ will go to the back of the queue. It is an absolute disgrace and wearing us both out (I am her 65 year-old son and carer). Graham
My father has been on the hook with these people for some time - I thought I had got him off it beginning of last years when I sent him print offs from the internet about it but he is still doing it and telling me fibs but I know its going on as he thinks hes coming into money soon and so it has to be these crooks..he is 90 next year and I despair !
These people plus others are scamming our elderly and vulnerable relatives. My 90 year old uncle thinks he is on to a winner every day of the week not only with this company but others who they have obviously sold there address to as being easy targets. Every day I get a phone of my 90 yr old uncle saying I've won this or that IF I SEND A ORDER which I'm unable to stop him doing so It works out to being £36.00 at least for a order The last was for Tea 3/4 lb worked out to be £32.00 plus postage and packing and postal order fees I have sent off information to Royal Mail not heard anything off them to date. They have even got to phoning him but alas no number to redial HOW DO WE STOP THESE SCAMMERS
False claims
I received two emails from the company Phyderma. They stated that I won prize, and if I wanted to receive it I needed to prove two check in amount of $60. I paid them $120, but I haven’t received my prize or confirmation email. They also stopped to communicate with me. And their phone number turned out to be invalid. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this company.
