Medigap Policy
On November 11, I signed up for Plan G and was told the premium would hit in February 2023. I just saw my account was charged already, only a week after I signed up. The insurance agent said it was a misunderstanding. It wasn't because I addressed that specifically during her visit. I wasn't going to sign up until next year, but she (Jacklyn) assured me that the premium would hit until February 2023. This makes me so angry.
Desired outcome: Money back NOW.
They ghosted me after they took first payment
Still waiting for my policy with policy effective date after I signed up and for monthly autopay.
Please refund the autopay or send policy.
They are very hard to communicate with they are ghosting me after they took first payment.
Desired outcome: I need help dealing with Physician Mutual Life. All their agents are located in Scottdale. And don't help anyone out of state
Physicians Mutual Whole Life Insurance is noncommunicative if you search their online listed agents for their life insurance all their agents are listed in Scottsdale by the hundreds all in ritzy Scottsdale. Who only work for Medicare in their state only. Was the only reply they bothered to send by email.

I called numerous times to tell them to stop their fraudulent charges. during which time I broke my arm, was undergoing skin cancer removal and could not get into any of these doctors and still cannot. unethical behavior
I have been getting phone calls from these people for years and for years I have asked them to quit calling. I also receive their mail and have sent it back requesting that they discontinue this and all to no avail.
I recently called them again and the lady said she would take care of it.
She did.
I am now getting three to five phone calls from them daily
These idiots do not seem to understand that this behavior is NOT endearing or that the potential customers that they continually harass and mistreat will NEVER EVER do business with them or recommend them to anyone, period. They do not care and I feel very sorry for anyone who uses them. It seems to me to be trouble in the making. Beware
Life Insurance Policy
I am 29 years old and will be 30 in 2 weeks. My grandmother took out a policy on me when I was born and has paid into it on time every due date. Now that she has passed they won't allow the beneficiary to change which somewhat forces me to cash this policy out. They just informed me that I would only receive $120. This company should be shut down because for years they have taken my grandmother's money and now have the nerve to tell me that my cash out would be only the amount of 1 of her payments. I wish before she died someone would have warned her of this scam so she could have stopped paying her money!
Dental ins.plan
To my disappointment after finding out the dental plan was a rip off hadn't if even used my benefits at all I'm still waiting for a refund seems very bazaar there! Should be more regulations to prevent people like me being taken advantage of by company's who promise things that they never deliver
They lied to me about a claim after getting my permanent Bridges he said I waited over six months to get them and they weren't covered them call 4 times and they told me I was covered what a rip-off company
Does anybody know how you get in touch with someone up in the company that has more power
My dentist put in a claim for my upper and bottom Bridge they wouldn't pay my dentist because they said they filed wrong after five months of arguing with them back and forth they prove to me that they did it correctly I called my insurance company back that they needed to pay my dentist the insurance company said I waited too long to get my permanent get my temporary for my permanent my gums or not healed enough to get the permanent ones they said that decision stay the same so I cancelled Insurance what a rip off

I purchased a dental plan in February, 2015. I paid 3 months premiums of 31.85. I did not receive a card to use to show the dentist proof of insurance. In June, 2015, I tried to use my insurance with my dentist, who I have used for over 10 years. I was going in for my annual checkup. I took the plan in too show the dentist. They called the insurance too see my coverage. When they informed me that the insurance co. Does not cover annual checkups 100 percent, as my previous insurance, I was upset. I had a 90 day waiting period, before I was able too use the insurance. That is 3 mos. of paying premiums, without, insurance. Now they inform me that their was not a waiting period. I cancelled my insurance, and requested a refund. They refuse. Their advertising on the internet is very misleading. They call this affordable insurance, but they cover very little of the dental cost. This is very misleading. I want my premiums I paid back.

Not paying claim
I have been paying for this insurance at the rate of $65 per month for about 18 months. Well into the time limit for crown, root canals, etc. that have a 1 year waiting period. I went to the dentist for a crown and they would not accept this insurance at all. Lucky for me. They did except my Delta Dental Insurance and it paid over $550. They submitted the claim on this Physicians Mutual Insurance and it came back with the claim of $553, they only paid $65. They claimed they did not pay with coinsurance, items not covered, etc. This was nothing be the office call, the Xrays, and the crown. All of which are listed on their schedule of items they pay. Before I went to the dentist I looked all over the policy to see if there was any problem with coinsurance. I could not find one problem with it. I purchased this insurance because when you use other insurance plans, they only pay a portion of the dental work, and I have to pay the rest. I figured with this insurance, they would pay another portion of the dental work, and it would help towards my part of the bill. ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT. They managed to take my money for all of this time, and then only pay one little part of this. I am a little mad. I'm going to file it with the BBB and the Texas Department of Insurance. I think they must have something in their policy to cover themselves with this "coinsurance bit", but it must not be easy to find. Well, I'm going to cancel this insurance because since I could only find dentists that accepted the Delta Dental Insurance, and not the Physicians Mutual insurance, and since PMI has ripped me so good, I don't want to pay them for more. I started to take out their Medicare Supplement, I'm 67, and thank God I did not. I bet it would have been the same problem. They would take my money, and then I would have to fight tooth and nail to get any coverage. DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE. THEY ARE COMPLAINTS ALL OVER THE INTERNET. Do yourself a favor and don't fall for this malicious company.
They won't pay for the crown on the tooth with old silver filling. It's split down the middle, decade & leaking. This is just wrong in so many ways.
Cancellation
Stay away from this company. . Physicians mutual insurance co. . . My insurance was cancelled because i was late with 2 payments even though i've been with the company for 15 years now. I had to change banks after my father passed away (We had a checking account together because he had alzheimers. It was through this process that i had to make sure everything was set up before i made a payment. I got a letter from them asking me to set up automatic withdrawal from my new bank. . . So i did. But when they received my application for it they didn't accept it because my insurance had lapsed. . But never bothered to tell me about it. So when i seen that my payments weren't getting withdrawn. . . I emailed them. . . And that's when they told me it had lapsed. When i tried to explain that it wasn't all my fault, they didn't want to hear that and still cancelled my policy!
Since then, i've found out that i'm not the only person that they've done that to!
I understand that. The things that I don't understand are, they accepted my information over the internet, cashed my check, and then, a week later sent me a letter stating that I didn't pay, my account was cancelled. Then they sent me a check back for the same amount. I'm sure there are a ton of people out there that are late on a payment or two, it happens. But then a company that I've been paying on time for 15 yrs. cancels me for two late payments (one that I paid, but they sent it back after they cashed it)? I'm sorry but I don't think that's fair and not a way to treat a good customer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I called these scam artists to cancel my dental insurance after I found out they were not going to pay for the services I needed even after the rep said they would. I was told send a letter and he would stop auto withdrawal. Sent a letter and they took the money any way.
I just called them and demanded my money and I was told I had to send another letter requesting a refund. In other words they wont be refunding it, but I will do it and will send certified mail. Already went and picked up the papers from small claims because I know I will have to file and then I will be requesting a lot more then my premium returned.
Me too!
I am glad I googled this company for reviews before starting with this company!

I have no complaints - but I found better dental insurance
Received phy mut policy in my home on 5/14/2015 got a premium bill 4 days later.. Paid it. Got another bill june 14 2015 paid that.. What happened to my 31 day inspection period for policy? They have $76.20 of my money an now I have my Credit card company on them. Hard to cancel policy but I did it within the time frame an now they're saying I didn't. Stay away.. Dont EVER use your bank info or debit card thats giving this company cart blanc to your money!
Sage777, my mother passed away on April 17. We gave the policy to the Funeral home on the 18th and had her funeral on the 24th. They called us and said the remaining balance after the funeral home payment was paid would be sent out on the 24th. We received it on/about the 30th. We had absolutely no problem with them paying the burial. What people don't know is that you submit to the funeral home to confirm/send in to the insurance company so that you are not out of pocket anything up front. Get with a good funeral home for pre-needs with your policy in hand.
I have a question! I have been paying on a Life Insurance Policy for myself for many years! Now... After reading all these comments I am just sick to my stomach. Who has had experience with the burial insurance with this company? It is difficult enough for my children to bury me! Then to find out P L I Co. won't pay what my policy is worth!
Be on-alert... PM will make sure they charge premiums for which you will never recover.
Paid $4, 000 and got $3, 000 when my father died. A huge rip off.
