7/3/24 called PitBoss to report that the control board of the brand new Austen Xl didn't work. It was flashing on and off. Then went completely blank. The customer service rep came on camera to view everything and then said that would send out a new control board. And he also took order for an upgrade control board. He said it would be 10-14 days and to look for an email of shipment with tracking #. Well that came and went so contacted Pitboss and then was notified that it was 10-14 business days. Well now over 14 business days and still have heard nothing. Customer service just says its in committed status and to look for email for shipping. They just keep saying its high grilling season, well not for us. We just want both our control boards so we can start grilling and putting to use this $$ brand new grill just sitting there collecting dust and cobwebs. Pitboss should compensate their customers somehow for the long wait and not standing for their product. We are losing faith in their product pretty fast.
Claimed loss: over $500 and over 3 weeks of usage, never been able to use
Desired outcome: I would like our replacement control board and the upgraded control board that has been paid for. Maybe even something extra for compensation.
