Platinum Wigs Naomi soft yaki remy lace front wig returned but no money received from platinum wigs

I ordered the Naomi soft Yaki lace front wig which was not as expected when received, it was too thin for and looked nothing as the wig pictured. I emailed the company and ask them to return the product. The company authorized the return with authorized #210 on 7/26, I returned the unit on 7/29/16 and the company received the unit on 8/2/16 via UPS. The Unit was received by the receptionist on 8/2/16 but no email was sent from the company. I have reach out to this company on my own on Numerous Occasions but to no avail.
on 8/20/16 I have had enough and have reached out to my credit card company so they could put this company on their scam list.

Don't bother trying to call or email because after they take your money they go silent.

I would recommend doing business with Aliexpress because they give better customer service than a company (if you can call this a company).

Platinum Wigs False advertisement, shedding and matting

I treated myself to purchased the so called Human Remy Naomi Soft Yaki Bangs unit and was initially very happy with its natural look. Shortly Platinum Wigs immediately emailed to ask for a review and I am so glad that I waited. After a very short time, I began to notice this hair was constantly matting and tangling in the back. Whenever I took the wig off, the entire back was a big ball of knotting. I spent my entire day running my hands through it to detangle it. Upon having to comb and brush it constantly the unit was shedding and became thinner by the day. It got so bad, that I will have to soon add and sew in additional track rows in the back, because of the shedding and tangles.

I purchased this wig based on the YouTube and their many Positive reviews on their website. However when I finally posted my honest review it was not listed for others to see. So I am very disappointed and would not trust to buy this unit again.

Platinum Wigs Poor Quality

This is the worst wig that I have ever purchased! I purchased the soft yaki with unstyled bangs based off of a popular youtuber and I am VERY upset with the quality of the wig. I was attracted to the good price and although I did see some of the negative reviews I decided to overlook them because I really liked the style of the wig. I loved the wig initially however it started to tangle the very next day and I had so much shedding its embarrassing when I got to work. The hair in the nape is a matted mess and there is nothing that I can do to salvage this wig. I will not purchase another wig from platinum wigs and I will continue to warn others. I have had many people compliment me on the wig style and I intended to refer them to the platinum wigs website but because the quality of these wigs is so poor I will warn others against hem. Do not purchase wigs from platinum wigs!

I purchased a wig from Platinum Wigs Only to find that the wig was of the poorest quality. Upon initial first look the wig appeared to be not very full, thin even. As I investigated further I found multicolor strings throughout the wig, holes in the lace as well as some sticky white lint so I decided to call and let them know I was told I could return the wig for a replacement or refund if approved I would have to pay additional shipping and handling and I would not receive the $50 Styling fee. I did not want to return it to them because I knew there would be some other excuse so I decided to grin and bear it. Well it's day 3 and the wig is matting and extremely tangled. I have synthetic wigs that last longer than three days. This company should be investigated as what they advertise is not the finished product.

I have the same experience initially the wig looked great but the back tangles its really poor quality. I should have followed my first instinct and not ordered from them after reading in their return policy they don't guarantee a refund or exchange.

Platinum Wigs Wrong styling

I had purchased a lace wigs with bangs and chose one of the styling options that they have available. I was very excited and waiting for my unit to come in the mail. The doing was fast but as soon as I got the unit and looked at it, it obviously was nothing like the picture. In the picture there are CHINA bangs which are supposed to be straight across, correct!? and rest above the lids of the eyes at least, correct!? So I don't understand how my bangs were almost below my chin! Also the layers in the picture framing the mannequin face were nothing like what I had on my wig. I chose the style pw7533so8 which when you go to the site you can see how its supposed to look for yourself, NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. So even though they say styling option is non refundable, you would think that they would refund me if they sent a unit that want styled right, right? Ugh im upset cause they cheated me out of money. they can still resell the unused unit to someone else, but im left shorted 50bucks and no wig... Please beware and dont choose the styling option cause they can style however they want and not refund you for their "mistakes". just get it styled at walmart for under 20 bucks.

Platinum Wigs Defective Lace Wig

I sent this company an email on 5/17/12 explaining to them the issues that I was having with one of their units. In the email, I stated that if I was not contacted back in a reasonable amount of time, I would retract all of the positive statements and recommendationsthat I've made. I am keeping my word. I believe that two weeks is more than enough time to have been contacted back. I've also called... numerous times and have left messages. The first unit that I posted here, I loved. But the second unit that I received and recently applied, was horrible. I'm definitely not going to stand by a company that sends out defective merchandise, and then on top of that, makes me feel as if I'm not valued as a customer. Attached is a picture of the unit after having been on for two weeks. The unit is balding because the tangling was so bad, as it was tangling at the roots. I had taken the unit to numerous cosmetoglists, and myself am licensed, and the matting was beyond repair. This is a warning to all of you who patronize this establishment. Although you may not have had a bad experience with this company as of yet, please be aware that once you do, they will not attempt to accommodate, help, or compensate you.

Here is the original email that I sent to this company on 5/17/12: Back in November, I ordered two 22'' virgin units. One was the brazilian curl and the other was the brazilian wave. I applied the brazilian wave first and absolutely was in love with it. I created a Facebook page, just so I could post pictures of the unit, since I was so happy. That unit lasted me from January of this year, until about 2 weeks ago. When I retired the brazilian wave, I applied the brazilian curl and loved it.

After a week of wearing the unit, it began to get really dry and brittle. I thought that it might need a co-wash and so, I took the unit off and co-washed it. Now, I'm a licensed cosmetologist, and am very privy of how to take care of hair and I was horrified at how the conditioner did not soften the hair. The hair felt as though it had been stripped somehow, although I had never used harsh products on it. After the unit began to dry, it began to mat up near the roots. I attempted to comb out the areas that were matting, to no avail. Once the matting began, the unit looked as though it was one big clump. I've never experience anything like this.

After I failed in successfully getting the matted areas out, I took the unit to two of my sisters, who are both hairstylists as well. They were even unsuccessful. Since I had to wear the unit and could not walk around with a matted mess on my head, I had to cut that hair out. I've had units from suppliers whose prices were inexpensive, but delivered quality products. I'm not sure how often defective units go out, but this is unacceptable. Sale or not.

I felt that it was the right thing to do by allowing you all a fair chance to address the problem, before I went around slandering your name. I cannot stand behind a product or company, that distributes products based on quantities and not quality. I definitely do not have a problem retracting any good statements or reviews given to this company, if I'm not satisfied.

Attached below is a picture of some of the damage. There are many more pictures as the unit is now a matted ball of hair.

Platinum Wigs shedding wig

I purchased a 22" Lace Front Wig soft yaki with bangs out of the box it was okay within days of receiving it, it began to SHED PROFUSELY. To add insult to injury they refused to acknowledge that it was there faulty wig that was the problem. I have wasted close to $300 dollars on a lace front wig that is losing hairs by the day. PURCHASE THEIR SHEDDING PRODUCTS AT YOUR OWN RISK !

I ordered 2 units from platinum wigs on February 26 2018. They stated they ship it out on April 2nd and gave me an recycled tracking number that was already used . I’ve been trying to contact them threw email & phone to get accurate tracking number no response. These units was for a wedding on April 6 2018. Me and my family have been loyal customers sense 2012. It’s April 25 when does it take 3 months to ship out wigs. Me and my family will no longer Order from this company ever again.

I was a die hard Platinum wig fan in Early 2010 through 2013. Something happened were they under went management change or supplier change because the hair changed dramatically. I remember bragging to people saying the hair on my head was over a year old. Not any more... I'd be lucky if it last me 6mths after the 2nd wash everything seems down hill. I have no idea what happened. Im a Lupus patient and was turned on to these wigs by another online lupus patient. No I'm saddened that my wigs have alopecia. I dont know what happened but i think im going to start making my own wigs because being without quality is not an option at this stage of my illness. I hope they fix the quality fast because in my city I'm like a walking billboard for their company and so many people order because of me. I just want the old hair back so i can be confident. The attached pictures are old when the hair quality last. They dont make it like this anymore because the hair on my head was at least a year old back then. The last 3 yrs i dont get that quality from them anymore and between medical expenses and hair cost i cant afford to keep purchasing what use to last a long time

I filed a claim with the Atlanta BBB due to this company and and their bad units. This company is so full of s***. They responded to the complaint stating that they had sent out an email to me the same day that I emailed them (5/17/12), but I never responded. However, on their Facebook page, they posted (6/4/12), that they never received my email or phone calls. How do you respond to a message via email that you never received? Too bad I have the picture at the bottom to show that Facebook comment, which they conveniently attempted to delete from their page. Although I did purchase the unit in November of 2011, I did not wear it until May of 2012, because I had other units and know how to make them last. This company went on to state that after 4 weeks, they don't accept refunds or honor exchanges, but stated (after knowing how long that I had had the unit), that they had contacted me for my order information. Why, if you're stating that I was well past the four weeks? I would have been okay with the company had they tried to rectify the situation in a better way, and not have attempted to tell lies. Now, back by all of my evidence, I'm going to tell my story and leave it for the public to decide.

i also purchase this wig i just got it today i found a green string woven into the track later on that night i found a brown string woven into the track some of the hairs are grey and it smell like plastic it is a higher grade of plastic hair not at all remey

Mrs. Robertson failed to mention that she only had the unit 4 days and she indicated the unit was never worn. However, when we asked her to return the unit we discovered that it was an old unit she returned and definitely not the unit she just received. We understand that occasionally a faulty unit may go out and we gladly stand by our product when this happens.
