Customer Service
When you call in, if you hesitate in making a selection it hangs up. If you push a button that has a possible online venue, it hangs up. This doesn't help if you are unable to get online, almost everything possible is a hang up. That is not good customer service! I tried to use the chat. While I was typing my question, Jose the chat guy decided it was taking too long and closed the chat window. Now I am locked out of chat for 24 hours. That is not good customer service! I called back, they offered a return call, when the phone rang I said hello and their phone disconnected, they did not call back. That is not good customer service. Its been a horrible ordeal the last THREE days trying to get help. I do not have 30 days to sit and read all the possibilities online. This is not working. I called back finally I reached a person he was talking to me and his phone hung up. OMG. They make enough to afford better service! And to hire real reps!
Desired outcome: Please be user friendly because right now they are not.
$64 Charged to my credit card for account set up over 10 years ago and no longer used.
Om March 5th my credit card was charged $54.94 for a subscription to a play station account that was set up over 10 years ago by my son
. Last year we had the same charge and tried to access the account to no avail.
the account is under the name : [protected]@aol.com. we do not know the password. We do not use the account . the credit card charged is under my name Patricia Fakhreddine and the last 4 digits of the account are 9531.
Please refund the money and delete the account. It was my understanding that this was done last year.

Unable to connect to a purchase product
The PlayStation network support is non and can be described as a Nokia 3210..that's the support, because there is none! Have to go several platforms and still it's like playing tennis and not getting anywhere

Your code of conduct has nothing to protect from other memebers goading other players into suspensions. This appears to be happenning with no way to report those who are perpatrating these acts. Im conserned the psn just wont care and even supports and backs the culpruts. In my case the goading was ignored by a team that reviews these violations.
Desired outcome: Id like for an automatic 14 day ban for anyone found goading another player into violating the code of conduct. Id like for goading to be considered by your team that reviews these reports.
Constantly hacked and horrible customer service
The Playstation network is very badly maintained. They're suffering constant hacks and getting customer info stolen. My account got hacked on 02/27/2022 and a bunch of spurious transactions were made. Playstation is taking their sweet time to refund me the transactions that were never issued by me.
I have to constantly call in, called them 5 times in the last week and everytime its a different answer. Its like they don't even care that my account got hacked, its like an everyday story for them. This is how bad their service is. They invite people to their platform, only to have their information stolen. Its almost like a coordinated attack. I wouldn't be surprised if their own tech-workers are enabling these hacks, don't have the evidence, but its highly likely.
PLease address this about playstation in any capacity you can:
- They need to provide a customer SLA, which needs to compensate the customer in the event their customer information gets stolen. That's a lot more than the refund they're trying to issue.
- They need to get their game together and fix the software driving this network, so many hacks and the most targetted network in the Dark web and they're unphased about it, what gives? Are they in it too?
Desired outcome: - DOJ/SEC fining Playstation for malpractice-.- Fines, fines, and more fines!! They need to pay for their lackadaisical attitude, they're not taking customer information seriously enough
Purchases deducted from my bank account without authorization
On the 26 February 2022 a purchase went from my bank account of R749.00.
I reversed the payment, because I did NOT authorize it.
The same amount went off again yesterday, 27 February 2022.
I need answers as to why that amount went off, and WHO authorized it.
I want an immediate refund!

Green hell
I purchased Green Hell PS4 game from the online store but it is not playable. The frame rate and controls have not been ported well to this platform. After playing for 30 min I requested a refund from the online chat since this is a faulty product but was denied by the agent as well as their manager. See attached transcript.

Unauthorised debit orders
It's been 7 months with endless emails and no response from PlayStation South Africa.
My kid somehow purchased a recurring debit order and I am unable to stop the debit order. I have removed my credit card details from the account but still happens. Each month I get a PlayStation statement. I have requested refunds and a stop to the debit order but they blatantly ignore my emails.
Annual subscription
My son sold his PlayStation last summer and we cancelled the services on the box itself. On December 25th I was charged the annual subscription fee for 2022. I tried multiple times to contact them to dispute but they are impossible to get a live person on the phone so I disputed the charge with my credit card provider. After a few weeks the charge was placed back on my account and today the credit card vendor was able to do a conference call with PlayStation. The agent for PlayStation simply was not helpful or really cared that I was a charged for annual subscription for 2022 even though we don't have the PlayStation anylonger and refused to refund me or even prorate the refund. This is terrible customer service and I will be telling everyone to avoid PlayStation at all costs and to use their Xbox instead as I don't have issues dealing with Xbox customer support.
Desired outcome: I want my 62.99 refunded back
Twin purchase add on no refund
My son accidently bought the beyond the light add on I already owned and used, so it is useless since I have it currently. So I call psn and ask for a refund and they blew me off in a snotty fashion. If you have a ps4 you know it can download from the psn store. Well it tried but failed because I have it already, no refund even though I now have 2 digital copies and one I cannot use. Thanks for nothing psn, you suck and should have a better customer appreciation effort, since this is your business to keep us happy.
There needs to be a system that does not allow the same thing to be bought, but I suppose it is free money for you so wtf right. [censored]

PlayStation targeted banning on 6 year old grandson.
My grandchildren were here for the holidays and on the PlayStation chat app. One of them were talking about the people who turn others in over false claims on YouTube. These people according to the Urban Dictionary are called Flaggots. So a lot of the kids on the chat referred to these false claimers and they were banned for 60 days by PlayStation!
There is no way to discuss the banning with them. The kids also keep in touch with their PlayStation friends via phone text and their friends were disappointed that my grandchild was targeted for using this word while NOBODY else was suspended. My grandson has a very pronounced lisp and his friends think he was banned because of this. I explained it was not due to his lisp but it's difficult to make very young children understand that PlayStation is powerful and you can't explain your side…. sad.
Desired outcome: Hopefully PlayStation will see that the Urban Dictionary DOES have a word for Flaggots and it has nothing whatsoever to do with sexual orientation…please lift this 60 day ban on my grandson.

i have sent my playstation 5 off to be repired as it was switching off while i was playing game the screening centre recievevd the console on the 08.08.2021 and i was supposed to have it back within 15 working days they have now had it for 22 working days and every time i ring up its the same thing they are waitin to hear from the screening centre this has been raised 5 times and there still waiting for the response i woud like a replacment console sending out please or repair thank you

Disk stopped working
I brought the crew 2 game two years ago and used it on a ps4 all the time. Then that ps4 broke and I brought a new ps4 and when I tried to play the crew 2 it wouldn't download the disk even though I had used it on the old one two days before. I have clean the disk and the disk is in good condition. I would like to know how to fix this because this was my favorite game and I played it all the time.

I'm female and was harassed on GTA online by a guy so I logged out then received a message on PSN from another ID calling me a silly little boy and they're getting me banned, so I replied only silly little boy is you and grow up, then they messaged back to say goodbye to your account, now I'm suspended for a week? I'm dumbfounded and shocked as I'm the one who was harassed and bullied

Recently I entered a draw for a chance to purchase a PS5 console directly from PlayStation. I received a message from the PlayStation app informing me that I've been selected to purchase a PS5 (image attached). There was no email received to make the purchase so I attempted to contact PlayStation for assistance. The webpage is designed to keep customers from engaging with live support reps and instead redirects customers to various FAQ pages. After locating a number to call, and after waiting to speak with a rep I was instructed to visit psdirect.com/chat to chat with the correct team. This chat window also redirects customers to various FAQ pages but after some persistent searching I was able to locate the window to chat with a live representative. After explaining my problem to the rep (Rachael), I was instructed to re-enter the draw, and then I was encouraged to enter future drops before the rep killed the chat before I could copy the transcript. I've attached what I was able to copy from the transcript before the chat was killed by Rachael.
Desired outcome: All I wanted was to have the email resent or to be put in touch with someone who could assist me.
Customer service
Tried contacting customer support to refund Diablo II ressurected as it won't let you play the game unless you have a battle net account and sync it. Customer Support asked if we wanted to try trouble shooting, I informed them I already uninstalled the game, and the cut the communication. Makes me never want to buy anything from Playstation again. The support's person was Kelly M.
Desired outcome: I would still a refund for the game, that is unusable for me, and Sony really needs to investigate their customer support personnel
They will not let me change my id
I have been trying to change my online ID with PlayStation and for some reason I can not change it on my system and a message comes up with(please contact PlayStation support to change your online ID.) which I have done on many occasions and they have told me my account is protected so I can not change my online ID, which makes no sense at all.
But I can change my wife's online ID and my sons on the console without having to contact them.
They haven't provided me with any details at all and when you phone PlayStation support they are useless and can not d al with my request for being able to actually speak to someone that knows what hey are talking about.
I spend a lot of money with Sony/PlayStation and they don't even have the decency to speak to me and provide a good enough explanation.
Desired outcome: I want to be able to change my onlne ID on my console like I can with my wife’s and my sons account

My playstation account was suspended I had an altercation with another player who was annoying after loosing a few matches in dark souls 3 pvp and when i ignored him and blocked him on my playstation messages he reported me and got me band upon reading my message that I got from playstation it stated that the band will be lifted on the 29-sep-2021 to me its not fair since all it takes to get some one band is a message and report about it and that he matter wasn't totally investigated
