2019 rzr turbo
I have 2019 rzr turbo which the crankshaft gear spun and ruined the motor. I sent Polaris a letter asking for some help fixing their defective motor. They said since it is out of warranty I'm on my own. The motor does not even have 124 hours on it. It only had 3200 miles. When the gear spun on crankshaft the piston rods were hitting the balancer. When I asked the dealer what I could have done to prevent this he told me nothing.
Desired outcome: I think the should stand behind their products. 5300 for a long block motor with a 30 day warranty is poor
2017 Victory Octane Motorcycle
I purchased a new 2017 Victory Octane, vin # 5VPFTB002H3001546, on 06/25/2016 and has had the same issue since I purchased it. The bike has been trailered to the Polaris Repair Shops 4 times, two within 1 year of purchase to the Champion Motorcycle in Decatur, AL. The shop replaced the crankshaft position sensor the first time and flashed the computer the second time to clear the trouble code. Each time the bike ran great for two months, then would not start. I replaced the battery as suggested then they flashed the computer. I was later told by the shop that the starter had a recall and needed replaced, the faulty starter was the cause of battery problems, the service manager at Champion Motorcycle said. He further stated their Victory certified tech was no longer with them since Victory Motorcycle company had been closed. He sent a replacement starter to me and I installed it. I have had several cases open with Polaris/Victory customer service since my purchase, the bike has only 1700 miles on it, with the most recent regarding the same issue as when it was first purchased. The Polaris Customer Service Rep. was helpful at the first due to the repair shop had the bike for 2 months before contacting Polaris or performing diagnostics on the bike. The new Polaris repair shop, Shoals Outdoor Sports, replaced the same component, crankshaft position sensor, that was replaced under warranty by Champion Motorcycle, they placed a new battery, this is the 4th battery to be installed on the bike, and stated the repair bill was just under $700.00. The service manager at Shoals Outdoor Power further stated the crankshaft position sensor they removed was a "aftermarket, not OEM component" that Champion Motorcycle had installed under warranty. I do not believe it is my responsibility to pay the bill that is the same issues that has existed since the bike was new.
Desired outcome: I would like for Polaris to recall the bike under the lemon law, as it has more trailered miles then riding miles or cover the repairs under the previous warranty claim that was never completed.
2020 polaris rzr xp1000
My rzr has been in the shop for a month for a misfire code, 65590 and 65592. This from what I have read is a common issue with several polaris machines. My dealership said tech support tells them to replace the belt and still not fixed.I just paid $350 dollars to not have the problem fixed. Polaris needs to step up and do a recall and reimburse customers for money spent. From what I have read and head from dealerships the ECU is to sensative on detecting misfires or false misfires izi should say. I will be out around $800 dollars after having an outside company address the issue. It is sad that a company this size does not care enough about their customer to make this right.
Desired outcome: Fix issue and reimbrusment
Code 636 - Crank Position sensor
March 12th i took my Polaris 1000 rzr s in for service at Moody Sales in Mars PA. It was throwing a code 636 (crank position sensor) and wouldn't start. To get it there i needed to use my winch to get it on the trailer. The service tech was able to get it started, but it ran rough. After some revving he was able to take it out for a test drive, ran fine. Then back at the shop, it died and wouldn't start again. After trying a: new crank position sensor, checking the wiring, trying a new ECU, nothing worked. Polaris had Moody's replace the wiring harness and it still throws the same code. Its now been almost 5 weeks without my NEW machine (bought back in early October 2020). I need to know how Polaris is go to make this right. There is no end in sight. Help
Desired outcome: Either fix the machine or give me a new one.

Paid in full for accessories $1688.96 of our new Polaris Ranger in May 2020. 10 days later the owner said he gave us a rebate and was incorrect. So he sent us a bill for what we already paid. With a different invoice number. After we had the accessories installed he tried to keep our new side by side and called us names and harassed us. Now he has sent bills each month. We told him it's paid in full so then he changed the amount from $1688.96 to $305.19. And now says we are 90 days passed due. He also told us he will not guarantee our warranty with Polaris or service our Ranger. He should not be able to sell Polaris due to him being so harassing.
2020 polaris rzr xp1000 - backup camera
My name is Gary Montgomery and I purchased a new rzr xp1000 from Triple S Polaris in Cedar City Utah in mid February of this year. I noticed as soon as I started driving there is a horrible vibration between the seats and when letting of the throttle the drive belt rubs the case.
I called the selling dealer and was told they had never heard of these problems before.
Looked it up online and numerous complaints. Drive line not balanced nor are the u-joints correctly phased. I have taken to dealer and was told that polaris says these are common issues and will not do anything.
I replaced the drive belt and fixed the rubbing issue. But my point is I should not have had to spend another two hundred dollars to repair something that was not right from the start.
I can also replace the driveshaft with an aftermarket one that's balanced and made correctly. But that's another five hundred dollars to fix a poor design from the start.
Now for the next issue...the backup camera stopped working and the gps in the ride command freezes up.
It has been back at Tripple S Polaris in Cedar City Utah now for another week and still not fixed. They claim that they are waiting on someone at polaris to ok another ride command. I have been a loyal Polaris customer for years but have always purchased used. This time buying new and let me say I am extremely disappointed in the new Polaris quality and service.
My point is that no one would except a new car with a driveshaft vibration or a transmission noise. And be told by the dealer that its common and the manufacturer will not stand behind there products.
I also feel that a week is way to long to troubleshoot a back up camera. I await your comments.
snowmobile
Sept. Of this year i bought a 2019 800 indy 129, got the 1000 discount, my dealer said this would be the best deal i could get from polaris he was told. Well come dec . Polaris offered on the same sled 1000 off plus a free belt and a gallon of oil.A 250.00 deal.So you can see why i am upset, and i think i should get the free belt and oil. Also i have been buying polaris snowmobiles since the late 80s, so i have been a loyal polaris rider.
2018 raz'r turbo
My name is Darin Greseth. I owned a 2018 Polaris Turbo Dynamix. Two of my son's friends were in an accident at our farm, rolled it 3 times in a wet hay field and the photos attached are from the wreck. Fortunately, we purchased the 5 point harnesses when we bought it and they were not seriously injured. I also owned an 800 Ranger and currently have a 1000 Ranger Northstar.
My complaint is that the Raz'r sustained enough damage to total the unit and I have settled with the insurance company, however, I was very disappointed in how poorly the Raz'r handled the crash. It actually broke the roll cage below the weld! When we purchase an off road vehicle like this, one would assume that the roll cage, floor pan etc... is strong enough to sustain at least some level of damage without being destroyed. I found a link to a recall on the cage, but I was never notified!
I paid $28, 000 for the Raz'r, I would recommend that Polaris spend and charge 10% more and build a stronger unit. Roll cage, Floor pans, doors etc...
I will not be purchasing a replacement for my Raz'r because I don't feel that they have been adequately built to risk injury or death by me or my passenger.
Sincerely,
Darin Greseth

the service I received and problems/safety of the service and costs.
Good Morning,
My name is Anthony Williams, I purchased approximately £380 worth of bushes and bearings from the above dealership, while there I asked for an estimate on how much to fit the parts I purchased and to carry out a full service, I was quoted £150 to £300 maximum, I agreed to them costs and returned with my quad (Polaris Scrambler 850cc) to leave with the dealership to have the work carried out, a few weeks later I returned to collect my quad and was presented with a invoice for £630, I was shocked that I was quoted £150 to £300 maximum and now had a bill of £630, when I asked why I was told there was other parts needed to be done on the quad, I don't understand why I wasn't contacted to to be asked if it was ok to proceed with works above the quoted price and if I had funds to cover the extras.
When I checked the invoice I noticed a service hadn't been carried out within this cost, I asked why and was told that the engine, diff and gearbox oil has been checked and they are all clean and not in need of a service.
When I picked the quad I I was asked not to ride the quad around the carpark as it is a garden centre and next door is a butchers so I started the quad and pulled it onto my trailer that was backed up inferno of the unit doors, I returned home and rolled the quad off the trailer and into my garage, a week later I took the quad out of the garage to go out for a ride and when I pulled off the quad was making a real loud metal on metal noise and I noticed that it was leaking a severe amount of oil, I immediately stopped and called the dealership (Dave) to explain what has happened and to ask why this was not picked up on when it was test driven before given back to me, he apologised and asked me to return the quad for inspection, this is a 4 hour round trip for myself to make, I done as he asked and returned the quad that day, while at the dealership he immediately mentioned the problem seemed to be the diff and told me he hadn't touched the diff (not actually true considering he'd checked the oil).
I left the quad with him and a week or so later he called to say the diff was knackered and needed a new one that was going to cost £680 I questioned how this had happened and was told he is not sure and assured again he hadn't touched the diff, I pad the bill and again pulled the quad on the trailer that was backed up in front of the unit doors, I asked if the quad had been tested and was assured it had been and all is in perfect working order, again I pulled up outside my garage and removed the quad from the trailer but this time decided to ride it to check all was ok only to have moved 10ft and the quad was making another very loud noise and screaming sound, I immediately stopped and called the dealership (Dave) to say I am not happy as again the quad has come from the shop in a worse state than it went in, he asked me to return the quad which I immediately done so that day, weeks later he told me the gearbox had gone and the cost to fix was going to be around £1500, I argued that there is no way I could afford that and I shouldn't have to as these problems are down to bad workmanship, he again mentioned that he had not touched the gearbox (not actually true considering he'd checked the oil).
He agreed to fix the problem or at least I thought this is what he meant as after leaving the shop days later he has sent me an invoice for nearly £1500.
When picking the quad up it wouldn't start and had to be jump started, my son inlay took it for a test drive out of the carpark as I wasn't going to take it all the way home again to find another problem, my son in law never returned so after 15 mins or so Dave told me he had run out of fuel himself the other day and that he only put a small amount in and that I should go and look for him, I found him a mile or so up the road out of fuel, we pushed the quad on the trailer and took it home, I did not call the dealership as I am absolutely fuming and disappointed on the amount of money I have spent and the treatment I received and the bad workmanship provided.
when I picked the quad up Dave was showing us the old bits that had been taken off but the broken parts he told us had been thrown out, he also mentioned he was hoping to have had taken the parts needed for mine off a new box and claimed on the warrantee, this confirmed to me that he is not trustworthy.
I can 100% confirm that these issues was not present before I took the quad to him for the first service, bearings and bushes to be fitted as we was out riding only days before which I have photos of the quad day, I also cannot understand how he can tell me the quad didn't need a service as he had checked it over and it was ok but didn't pick up on the broken diff and gearbox, he would have or should have taken the milage/hours so will be able to tell the quad hadn't moved between the first time I collected it to the first day I took it out and noticed the diff had gone.
he has let me take this quad out of his workshop not once but twice without it being checked and it was not safe.
I hope this complaint is taken as seriously as it is written,
I would love to speak with someone regarding this asap if possible.

indian scout bobber
I bought the Indian Bobber around July last year and the first thing that started failing was something very simple, the clock on the speedometer wasn't working. The part got replaced and during the second week the bike started to leak antifreeze. I wasn't happy at all, but the dealership seemed to be willing to solve the problem. Polaris seemed to be taking the time to send the parts to get the motorcycle fixed. So I spent most of that summer with a motorcycle in the shop. Instead of having me go through all this hardship, they should have given me a new motorcycle. I'm still not happy about the whole issue, you don't expect things like this to happen when you buy a brand new motorcycle. To this day, I'm still going to the dealership to get the bike fixed because now is having misfires. Not even a year old and I have spent a lot of time getting this motorcycle fixed for one thing or the other.
I definitely don't recommend Indian motorcycles or any product from Polaris. They care more about making money than customer satisfaction and product quality.
polaris 570 quad 2017
I bought this quad from new at the end of 2018 and the problem I have is my right leg is burning as there is not a heat shield. I feel this is a health and safety issue and that the heat shield should be supplied as standard as they are on the 2019 model.
I have been quoted by the dealer that I need to pay 350euros for this to be fitted. I think this is outrageous and wondered if anything can be done under the warranty?
My neighbour also bought one at the same time and has exactly the same problem.
I await your prompt reply to try and resolve this issue.
2017 polaris ranger 900
I couldn't find a complaint dept. I wanted you to know that I purchased a piece of junk from Polaris. I just had to pay over $1, 800 to have the top end reworked. I have only had the Ranger one year and never had it in mud or driven it hard. Several mechanics told me there was no dirt in air filter, so it had to be something from factory. At first dealer mechanic told me it looked as if a bearing broke in it and he would see if headquarters would help cover cost. He looked at the air filter and said there was no dust. When I went to pick it up he said there was dust in the engine but doesn't know how it got there. I say that is not true. I have searched the web and found that is what is told to most everyone. I am a 62 yr. old retired man and paid $17, 000 for a utv that should have lasted me years. I am the only person to use my ranger and I service it as the manual requires. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I did not cause this failure. This had to be a faulty part from the factory. I would like to know if Polaris stands behind their product.
2017 polaris rzr 1000 xp
Hello there, My name is Danny Pariseau and I've been an avid off rode rider for over 30 years. I was always a die hard Honda and Kawasaki rider, with a few Yamahas in between. In 2013, I had a severe off rode accident that almost killed me. I continued to ride after the accident, but never got the enjoyment out of it that I used to. I was scared. I continued to ride for a few years on atvs. After ALOT of research window shopping, I decided to lean towards a SXS. I rode a couple friends bikes and that fear I had of crashing and getting hurt went away. My family and I went shopping and it was a toss up between the yamaha sport SXS and the Polaris. I've never owned a Polaris but I heard great things about them and they're AMERICAN MADE! My wife and I pulled the trigger and purchased a brand spanking new one that took over a month to receive. We drove three hours to a town near Sunbury Pennsylvania to pick her up. The dealer was very nice (R.E Davidson & son), handed me the keys and said load her up. I backed her out of their garage and went to put it in high range, and it was oddly hard to get in gear. Since I'm not really familiar with them, I thought it was normal. I took it home put her in the shed and couldn't wait for a day off to ride. Finally, I take her out and it was an absolute BLAST! I felt safe and like myself again while riding. About an hour through the ride, my power steering light started flashing and I lost power steering. I shut it off, the light went off and I was good to go again. I get home, clean her off and back in the garage she went. I took her out a couple more times with no issues. Finally winter comes and the first snow is here. I start her up and now there is a banging coming from the belt cover. I call the dealer and was told my belt was prob stretched. Mind you it has less than 25 miles on it. I take it out and ride it in the snow with my daughter for I'd say 5 hours. Again the power steering light comes on and I loose power stearing. I shut it off and turn it on and all is good.I clean her off and back in the garage she went. I plan another trip to go to upstate Pennsylvania. I start her up and go to back it out of the garage and she doesn't move, engine just revs. Now I have a 1500 pound machine and no way to even pull it out of my garage with a vehicle because my garage is fenced in behind my house. I call the dealer and they say check the belt. I had to pull off the belt cover and every single screw was loose to the point that I'm surprised they didnt fall out. I take the cover off and the belt is fine, the primary clutch is seized open. I call the dealer and he states "its becuse it got wet" obviously, the cover wasnt tightened from the factory. I was told that because it got wet it's my fault and that the factory warranty nor the two thousand dollar extended warrenty will cover it. So now I have no other choice but to buy a clutch. Since the machine had less than 300 miles on it, I bought a brand new OEM clutch from EPI and installed it myself. I took it out a couple more times with zero problems. Today 10/22/18 me and my friends planned a trip to go riding in NJ. Took her out and she ran great! On the way back the steering light came on again, I stopped the machine to see if the power steering really stopped working yet again. I'm stopped, looking at the dash board and now the engine light comes on and she starts miss firing. I try to keep her running with some throttle but no luck, she shut off. I try and start it and it wont. I go to the diagnostic screen and it says low voltage to throttle, cam positioning sensor and something else. Now I'm 10 miles from my jeep and trailer, my bikes broken yet AGAIN and I'm riding with dirt bikes that cant tow me back. So I had someone get my jeep and drive it all the way back in the trails, tearing it up to get the machine out. So, now that you know my life story with the RZR you can see I'm not impressed and I'm pretty upset. $22, 000 dollars is a HELL of alot of money for me and my family. I do countless hours of over time a month to pay for a bike that breaks 90% of the time it's out of the shed. I'm 40 years old. I'm not the guy you see on you tube trying to destroy the machine. I take it out and sight see with an occasional white knuckle speed. I know my family and I are just another sold machine to you guys, but I had to write this email. I am so unhappy with this bike. I really thought I made the right choice with buying this to watch my kids scream and smile in the passenger seat. It's more like what's the matter dad, is it not working again? Some time during my busy schedule I am going to bring it to this dealer in NJ with really good ratings (DHY motor sports) If I have to reach in my pocket to pay for anything I might just leave it there and ruin my credit. I am highly upset. I truly believe I got a lemon of a bike. I have zero trust in riding this thing anywhere with the fear of breaking down or even worse, acting up and causing me to crash and hurt one of my daughters. I'm not trying to be a nasty customer but I need you to see where I'm coming from with this. The $450.00 with insurance I pay a month for a bike that doesnt work is very upsetting. I thank you for your time and I really hope to hear from you soon. Thank Danny Pariseau [protected].
2017 polaris ranger 1000 side by side
took my Ranger in to La Power Sport in Bossier City, La they kept it for 30 days and when i picked it up they told me they had found nothing wrong. the reason for taking it to them was that on start up, not every time, but often it would crank, ramp up to 300 -500 rpm and die. it would do this 3-8 times before it would crank and run. after i got it home, it did this on the trailer before i even got it off. i called them and told them it was still doing it and they told me it may be in the fuel. i did not ask them why they had not checked the fuel after keeping it for a month! i had to check the fuel myself and found nothing, the fuel was good. so, now what?

Indian TS 111 Piston and Balance Shaft Information Prior to Ordering
Hi,
I'm investigating replacing my 2017 pistons (part No 3022648) with 2018 pistons (part No 3023065).
Could you please confirm that the 2017 pistons and 2018 pistons are precisely the same weight?
Could you please also tell me the difference between the 2 different 2017 balance shafts (balance shaft part No 5138087 - built to 13/09/2017 and balance shaft No 5141115 - built from 13/09/2017)? Why the part No change? Has the weight and or design of the balance shaft changed?
Thanks David

From talking to a Polaris mechanic Polaris knows about the cheaply Chinese made wiring harness and admits that it's cheap but still sales on the market for $686.00 I think they should recall the bikes and replace the wiring harnesses with better quality wiring harness and there's also a known problem with the fuel pump on the same model my bike is practically new and I shouldn't have to spend that type of money on a wiring harness when Polaris knows there's a problem I will never buy again or recommend Polaris again after the conversation I had with the certified Polaris mechanic it seem Polaris doesn't care

rubber hold down on windshield of 2018 rzr s
I've purchased a 2018 rzr s 1000 aproxemently 30 days ago. The rubber hold downs on the Polaris windshield are either defective or made very poorly. I've been riding my rzr s for approximately 500 miles with the windshield down at all times. Never once did I have this windshield up. After a 200 mile ride in Maine I noticed one hold down ripped and missing and the other half ripped.when I called my dealer to replace them, he said I have to order a windshield kit. 100 dollars! Are you kidding me Polaris. This is disgusting for two bungie cords. I can't see spending100 DOLLARS on this kit just to get two bungie cords. Only to find out there good for about 500 miles. I ve been buying Polaris snowmobiles about every two to three years I also have two Polaris sportsman 500s, and now this rzr s. Also have a 07 victory Hammer and a victory cross country tour motorcycles. I would appreciate If you would send me two bungie like cords NO CHARGE! This is a disgrace. Not wanting to buy Polaris anymore. I appreciate you getting back to me. Sincerely Wayne Gracie. 14 Woodland Acers Barkhamsted Ct 06063. Email [protected]@att.net
lang equipment in wausau, wi
This complaint is about one of your dealers not your equipment. I bought what I thought was a used odes dominator 800 from one of your dealers Nate Lang, later I have learned that it is actually a BransonBoss. I was deciding between that and a 2017 Ranger come 900 4 seater, as much as I wanted the ranger I just couldn't afford it. Any way I bought the odes on April 10 I wanted power steering put in and as part of the agreement he would put it in for the cost of the parts only.I lived two hours away so he typed up a work order to do the work at the end of July when I would be passing through again on vacation, he told me it was just a quick procedure and I would be able to pick it up the next day so I could use it while on vacation. I dropped it off early on July 28, the work was to be done on July 30. Called on the 30th to see how it was going and it hadn't been touched. Called the next day and spoke to an employee and it became clear by the tone of his voice that my machine was not going to get serviced. When I picked it up on aug 3 on my way home from vacation my gut feeling was proven true as it sat where I dropped it off untouched. So I loaded it up and left. I am so disgusted with Lang equipment I have had this machine for 5 months and have 31 miles on it and $700 more put into it. I realize it's not your equipment and had I bought the ranger I would not be having problems I just thought you should know how this particular dealer conducts his business!
