I ordered the number 1 combo meal I asked for fresh food twice and they responded okay I got my food the fries was so dry my sandwich was cold and my biscuits was hard and breaking apart I went inside and they did not want to redo my order at all they were very rude and thought it was a joke I didn’t even receive a receipt for my order I was nice and respectful but they laughed and was very rude

I recently visited Popeye's through the Drive-Thru to order my food. I was looking forward to enjoying a 2 Can Dine meal with 2 Red Beans and Rice, Spicy only legs and wings/tenders (Biscuits). However, I was disappointed with the service I received. The team seemed disorganized and didn't have fresh chicken or tenders (spicy). The chicken they gave me was very dry, and to make matters worse, they gave me the wrong box, which was full of half-eaten chicken. This was not what I was expecting, and I left feeling very disappointed.
Despite my disappointment, the team did try to make it up to me by giving me a full Red Beans and Rice for the mess up. While I appreciated the gesture, it didn't make up for the poor service I received. I come to this location all the time with my children, and it's usually fresh and delicious. However, tonight was a letdown. They usually ask for my sauce preference, but this time they didn't even bother.
To make matters worse, when I called the store to talk to the manager and request a free full replacement since I didn't receive a receipt, a guy answered and said "The manager is very busy hold on." I could hear the background noise of people yelling and taking orders, and he wasn't listening to me. This was very frustrating, and I won't be going back to the Fairfield Ave location again.
Overall, my experience at Popeye's was disappointing. The team wasn't organized, the chicken was dry, and they gave me the wrong box. While they did try to make it up to me, it wasn't enough to make up for the poor service. I hope they can improve their service in the future, as I used to enjoy coming here with my family.
Mixed Experience at Popeye's: Perfectly Cooked Chicken, but Disappointing Service and Sides
I jus' ordered a 12 PC box meal from Popeye's at 12:16. They charged me 2 bucks for an extra large side, which was a bit of a bummer. They told me to park by the double doors and they'd bring out my food. I saw other folks waitin' there too, but they eventually went inside and came out with their grub. I had to wait a bit longer 'cause I'm in a wheelchair. Then I saw some dude lock the door. A few people tried to get in, but no dice. 'Round 1 PM, a young fella finally showed up outside and I flagged him down to ask about my order. He brought it out 'bout 10 minutes later. That's just not cool, man. It was a hot day and I had to keep the AC runnin', which ain't cheap. Plus, my large sides were only half full and I only got 5 biscuits. I stopped goin' to McDonald's 15 years ago 'cause of a similar issue. This was at store #***. I hope someone takes a look at this. On the bright side, the chicken was cooked perfectly.
Disappointing Experience at Popeye's in Mableton, GA: Slow Service, Unpleasant Attitude, and Missing Food
I recently visited the Popeye's located at 6077 Mableton Pkwy SW in Mableton, Ga. Unfortunately, my experience was not a pleasant one. The employees seemed to be moving at a snail's pace, and some of them were even playing on their phones. This caused a long wait time for customers, as there was only one cashier at the front. When another cashier finally arrived, she had a very unpleasant attitude towards me and the other customers.
After waiting in line for around 45 minutes, I finally got to place my order. However, it took another 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. To make matters worse, the cashier didn't even bother to close the lid on my food before placing it in the bag. She also didn't say hello, thank you, or anything else to me during the entire transaction.
When I got home and opened my bag, I realized that there were no beans with my beans and rice. Additionally, the rice seemed to be old and stale. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Popeye's and regretted choosing to eat there. I don't want to be a nuisance to the employees, but it's frustrating when they can't even do simple tasks like putting beans and rice together or speaking to customers in a polite manner.
Overall, I don't think I'll be returning to Popeye's anytime soon. It's a shame because I used to enjoy their food, but the poor customer service and lack of attention to detail have turned me off. I hope that the employees can improve their attitudes and work ethic so that other customers don't have to go through the same frustrating experience that I did.

Disappointing Experience with Popeye's Mobile Order & Customer Service
I did a mobile order from Popeye's website and went to the store to pick it up. Unfortunately, when I got there, they didn't fill my order. They didn't even call me like they said they would. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to my meal. The employees told me that they didn't have the sandwiches that I ordered, but they could give me the rest of my order. I was not happy about this and asked for a refund. However, the cashier told me that they don't do refunds. I was frustrated because they wouldn't give me my order and they wouldn't give me a refund.
I spent about 20 minutes trying to call the help line and use the app to talk to someone. I also talked to the cashier about the manager not being available. It was a really frustrating experience. Finally, the cashier offered me mini sandwiches and said that they just got an order in. However, I later found out that he lied to me because there was no truck in the parking lot. This was not the first time I had an issue with this store. I had a problem with the app before, and they were not helpful or accommodating in any way.
I really love Popeye's food, but I don't think I will be supporting this restaurant anymore. The employees were not helpful, and they wouldn't give me a refund. It was a really frustrating experience, and I don't want to go through that again. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future because I know that they have great food.
Poor Customer Service and Rude Manager at Popeye's Town Square Location
Me and my friends went to Popeye's at Town Square around 8:30 pm. The lady at the counter was acting unprofessional, she was almost laying down on the window. We asked her to make sure our food was hot, but she said it would be 50/50. I didn't understand what she meant, so I asked her to explain. She told us that some chicken had been prepared 30 minutes ago and some a little later. I asked her if she could give us fresh chicken, but she said no because they were closing in 45 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager, and he came to the window abruptly and asked, "What you need?" I started to explain, but he cut me off and said, "I give you money back, we are not cooking anymore chicken." I was so surprised that I couldn't even respond. After he gave me my money back, he rudely said, "Give my ticket." I told him that he was rude and that I wouldn't be coming back, and he said, "Fine." I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and if you have children working there, please check on them because the manager was extremely rude to his staff in the background.
Overall, my experience at Popeye's was disappointing. The cashier was unprofessional, and the manager was rude. I understand that they were closing soon, but that's not an excuse to treat customers poorly. I was hoping for some fresh and hot chicken, but I didn't get that. I hope they can improve their customer service and food quality in the future.
Disappointing Experience at Popeyes Jefferson Ave Store: Out of Stock and Poor Service
This is my third and final visit to the Jefferson Ave store in Newport News. Every time I come here, they're always out of something or it takes forever for someone to come to the counter to take my order. Even when someone finally comes, they don't greet me or make eye contact. Today at 5:03, a young girl told me "we ain't neva had no tackle box." So all those commercials and signs in the window were just mistakes? I pointed to it on the menu board, and that's when a manager came over and told me they were out. This promotion just returned a few days ago, and they're already out? Do your employees not know what you sell? First it was the mac and cheese, then the ghost peppers, and now this. I understand the craze over the chicken sandwich, but the company is now trending with insufficient inventory. There were no apologies and no coaching for the employee. I can't do this company anymore. I'm going back to KFC. Popeyes really needs to develop a system for transferring supplies between stores, train their employees on professionalism and operational procedures, and start thinking about their customers first.
Disappointing Experience at Popeye's in Texas City: Constant Order Errors and Poor Customer Service
located at popeyes.com. I recently visited the Popeye's on FM 1764 in Texas City, and I have to say, it was a pretty disappointing experience. I've been to a lot of fast food restaurants in my time, but this one takes the cake for being the worst.
First of all, it seems like they can never get the order right. On my most recent visit, I had to go back because they forgot to include the apple pies I had ordered. And when I got home, I found that they had left out some of the chicken pieces I had ordered, and the ones they did include were incorrect. I specifically asked the person packing the order if there were breast pieces included, and he assured me that there were. But when I got home, there were no breast pieces to be found, and one of the wings was missing from my 10-piece order.
This isn't the first time this has happened, either. It seems like every time I order from this location, there's something wrong with the order. And when I called to complain, they told me that I either had to travel several miles to get the order corrected, or I only had two days to come in for the correction. That's ridiculous. It's not rocket science to get an order right, and it shouldn't be this difficult.
It's no wonder that this location doesn't have any reviews on the corporate website. If this is the kind of service they're providing, it's no wonder that people aren't leaving positive reviews. I've had enough of this location, and I won't be ordering from them again. Hopefully, they'll get their act together and start providing better service to their customers.
Poor Customer Service Experience at Popeye's Mobile Order Pickup Counter
I recently visited Popeye's on 4/12/2023 to pick up my mobile order. When I arrived, I noticed that the line was quite long and wrapped around inside the restaurant. Despite this, I approached the Mobile/Pickup counter and let the cashier know that I was there to pick up my order. However, the cashier seemed irritated and gave me a look that made me feel unwelcome. She also mentioned that she was the only one working at the front.
I asked her if she could let me know when my order was ready or how long it would take. However, she seemed annoyed by my request and was more focused on the customers in front of her. I even asked if someone else could help me, but she didn't seem interested in assisting me with my mobile order.
To make matters worse, another employee came over and spoke to the cashier in a language I didn't understand. They both seemed to be discussing the long line and my order, but I couldn't understand what they were saying. Eventually, the other employee informed me that my order wasn't ready yet.
I found this experience to be very unprofessional and disappointing. In my experience, most establishments have employees who handle mobile orders in addition to front-end workers. However, it seemed like no one was taking care of mobile orders at this location.
Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my experience at Popeye's and I don't think I'll be returning to this location anytime soon.
Disappointing Experiences at Popeyes in Newport News, Virginia: A Review
There are two Popeyes locations in Newport News, Virginia, and unfortunately, my experiences at both have been less than satisfactory. Despite my hopes that things might improve, each time I visit, I find that while there may be new employees, the same issues persist. I have learned to always check my order before leaving the store, as I have been given incorrect items on more than one occasion.
During my most recent visit, I was so disappointed with the service that I requested a refund. The manager informed me that they do not offer refunds, which left me wondering why not. After some insistence on my part, they eventually provided me with a gift card. Wanting to give the establishment another chance, I decided to visit the other location. However, to my dismay, the gift card I had received less than 30 minutes prior did not work.
Despite my frustration, I decided to take my chicken and leave the manager to sort out the issue with the other store. As I recounted my experience to the person helping me, they went to the back to get me some hot chicken as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, my order was once again incorrect.
In my opinion, Popeyes should be held accountable for their poor service and lack of cleanliness. I plan to do everything in my power to make sure that those in charge of regulating this type of establishment are aware of the issues I have encountered. Overall, my experiences at Popeyes in Newport News have been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend patronizing either location.

Ordered special 10pc family meal, spicy, and requested all dark meat. Arrived home 15mins later to discover
1breast, 2 thighs, 4 legs and 2 shriveled up, hard & dry wings (1 PC short).
The breast and wings are light meat, not dark! The wings were inedible. Still one piece short. Very frustrating because didn't receive what was requested, shorted one piece, and I live some distance from my closest Popeyes. It's not practical to return. Frequent occurrence!
Desired outcome: Have your restaurant get their act together. These were adults, not children making these mistakes.
Poor Service
When I order the food they told that the food will be ready within 15 minutes. When I came back try to pick up my order they told me the food that I ordered was all sold out and ask me if I want something else…. They should give out food in order. I was the first person in the line, when I try to get my food they told me the food that I ordered was all sold out. They are not supposed to give my food to other people, they should keep my food and give it to me when I go pick up. This store was so rude and poor service. No one should come to this store.

2 weeks prior to needing my order I stopped in to personally place the order. I was guaranteed that my order would be ready on time that there was no need to follow up. I took a photo of the hand written order with my cell phone as proof of my request. When I arrived to pick my order, 11:15 on 6/11, they had no idea what I was talking about. I showed them the photo of the order to which one of the employees commented that I didn't need to shove the phone in the tellers face. This young man needs some customer service training. After this they found the order somewhere in the back area and proceeded to dredge chicken to fill my order. This made me a 1/2 hour late for an 80ith birthday celebration with 20 people waiting.
There was no apology for dropping the order or no compensation for my inconvenience. I love Popeyes Chicken, but the service at this location leaves a lot to be desired.
Order ahead pickup service not available
For a while now the order ahead pickup service online has not been available at the Jena, Louisiana Popeyes. Therefore I cannot use my points or free rewards. The lobby has been closed for a long time also. The employees say they have no control over or anything to do with this service. Well they are missing out on a lot of my business, which I suppose they could care less.
