I have been wanting to try Popeyes for awhile and finally did yesterday June 19. 2022. I wasted $18. The shrimp was actually fried breading with a had piece of a pencil eraser inside. Not edible much less any taste to it. No exaggeration - the shrimp was a dark dried up piece of rubber. Popeyes in Mt Prospect needs some training or decent cooks. No wonder that place is never busy. Stick with the chicken / that was somewhat edible. The fries weren’t totally done either. Very very Disappointing. Waste of money. If no improvement, they’re out of business real quick.

On June 16th 2022, at about 7pm or 8:20pm, I decided to go to Popeyes at the 5th street HWY location to eat my last meal for the evening, because I had schedule my colonoscopy for June 21st, 2022, so this would be my last meal until the procedure.

So after arriving at Popeyes I purchased (as always) a 4 pec's wing mild w/fry's, I was charged $12.00, (a little more than usual) but ok.

After I got home around 8:40pm (not sure of time), I took off my jacket & shoes immediately &went down to my basement to eat.

When 1st eating, I noticed that my wings were a little hard, not sure why, I investigated. I then noticed I was given a 5 pcs & not a 4 pcs & then I found the food was dry & seem hard,

I became upset, because of not wanting to have to put my things back on & tracking down there to complain why my food taste & feel like it's been siting out all night & why the employees were serving food like this.

So I did, I got dressed all over again, got in my SUV & drove back to the Popeyes, upon arriving I found the doors were locked, so I had to get back in my SUV & drive to drive - in-, I asked the server immediately is it their practice to serve Dry/stale food that's been sitting for hr.'s & can I get my money back.

The server started to say Sir we cant take the food back because u ate some of it. I said I tried to, so I wouldn't have to come back, but it became so unbearable I couldn't do it & I then became upset. I then ask to speak to the Mgr. he to refuse to help resolve the situation.

I became irate & immediately told him I will never visit this store & I would notify my family & friends as well, He said do what u must its 9:30 or 9:40pm (it's been 2 hrs) he said, I said yeah I was trying to stomach this stuff but found I couldn't.

He said sorry can't help u, I said are u going to do me this way, he said yes I am...1 said WOW!.. ok never again will I come to this restaurant & I will try to put a stop payment on my debit card because I did not receive the service as promised... I just feel so unvalued right now!, all for $12 bucks... I ask the BBB if they can help also. People... be careful eating food from this location their practices are not up to standard, I noticed one time the window cashiers were putting up Tip signs at their window... they have very LOW standards.

service was very slow. 3 times the price of kfc. big mistske. will not go there again. then when order was brought home, 3 items i was charged for were not in the bag. ordered boneless chicken breasts. received legs and wings. 6/17/2022 approx 3 30 pm.

Yesterday and today have been extremely hot and this group at the Popeye's on 9th Ave. North in Bessemer AL have it hard! When do yall plan on fixing their air? Those poor workers dont get paid enough to work in extreme heat! My heart breaks for the group working both yesterday and today! SHAME ON YOU! Treat your employees better and then you will have a great place to eat

Urgent on-going fraud: false advertisement the sign clearly said 20 piece tenders only for $21.99 (see photo 1) and the on-site manager (rodrigo) acknowledged the mischarge for $34.99 (see photo 2) but refused to honor the price and proceeded to rudely and aggressively replied,"it is what showed up in the computer! So that is what you have to pay for! Next customer". It was a blatant fraud and customer abuse witnessed by all in the store; indeed, I have been wronged.

I went thru drive thru when i heard about the .59 sell on 6/11/22 at about 5:30pm, i was told i had to order online to get the special,my grandma is 74 years old ,she still drives to popeyes. she was so disappointed ,she ask me to report thoughs lying [censored], her word exactly. Natchez Ms. popeyes thought it was a joke to have people coming up there .

I went in to get chicken dinner and was refused service! She told me I had to go thru the drive thru even though everyone else was sitting eating there food . I was definitely discriminated against . Yes don’t go there they will tell you to out back and eat. You are not welcome there .

I want file a complaint about your store located at 2751 Boston Road Bronx New York 10469 me and my family made 3 separate 0rders so we needed 6 sauces which was 2 sauces per order they lady at the window refused after we spend 30 something dollars she should had just give to us OUR ORDER NO. I received a gift card for Popeyes Famous Louisiana Chicken in May 2022. I have visited two Popeyes locations (Jefferson Street and Charlotte Pike) during the month of May 2022 in Nashville, TN and was told that gift cards are not accepted at their location. Is it true that gift cards may only be used at certain locations? If so, how do I find out where my gift card can be used?

I visited Popeyes on Zinfandel on 05/16/22 & was given cold chicken & flat cold biscuits. I again visited Popeyes 05/27/22 & complained about the poor-quality food I received (05/16/22) and was told "well I can only give you one piece of chicken & a biscuit because you don't have a receipt" I also bought a strawberry lemonade for $3.00. After eating the chicken I got very sick with diarrhea, cramping, and fever. I habitually eat light so I know that meal made me ill. I thought I was going to have to go to hospital, it was bad! Because I could see how upset employee was that I complained about poor service on 05/27 and how long I waited for replacement meal, I'm certain I was intentionally poisoned. My getting gravely sick was intentional, I recall a co-worker complaining of food poisoning at that Popeyes location months ago!
