They have never done services after approval of a loan
I applied for a loan with Power Pay through Sun Valley Renewables. They were going to place solar panels on the roof of my house. However, when the inspection revealed that my roof needed to be redone first and I couldn't get a loan large enough to cover both the roof and the panels. Steve Walker the owner of Sun Valley Renewables stated that he would use the amount of loan to get my roof fixed instead. However that has yet to be done. When I notified Power Pay that reported to me that the money had been disbursed to Sun Valley Renewables on:
May 25- 16, 817.47
June 24-16, 817.47
This company has stolen my money and has done no work.
Desired outcome: I want this to be taken care of. I do not owe anyone any money if no work has been done.
Held onto money
Do not get this prepaid card. Besides having a 6, 00 a month service charge. I went to put gas in my car as I always do. And they held ALL of my money for THREE business days. I called and told them that I had other people to feed besides myself and couldn't wait three days to get access to my money. They just kept saying the policy the policy. I asked to speak to the supervisor who was of no help. And when I asked who was his manager. He told me no one. When I asked who ran the company he said he could disclose that information. What! ? Are you serious !?

False advertising
PowerPay is ntentionally keeping the words about the "personal guarantee" out of the chargeback system explanation on their website, because PowerPay does not want the prospective merchants to know that regardless of the outcome of the chargeback process, PowerPay will take the merchant's money anyway. That is how they plan to use the "personal guarantee", but PowerPay never tells the merchant.

Id like to start off by saying powerpay is the WORST merchant processing company. If they are holding your funds you better beleive they wont call u back after numerous messages left or emails. and yes I said messages left because they wont answer the phone. this company had over $100, 000 of mine and has been holding it for 269 days now. ive called and emailed at least 20 times with no call back. U can get a hold of their ### customer service department who cant tell you one thing about whats going on. If I dont get my money by tomorrow I will be contacting the DOJ and ATG in maine.
I would like to clarify some confusion between the Chargeback Process and the Personal Guarantee. The Personal Guarantee is a promise made by a merchant which obligates him/her to personally repay debts his/her corporation defaults on. The Personal Guarantee is NOT related to the Chargeback Process, which is why it is not stated on our website under the Chargeback Process. The Personal Guarantee is however, explicitly explained in the PowerPay Merchant Terms and Conditions to assure that all debts caused by having a merchant processing account are obligated. Every PowerPay merchant must read, sign and agree to these terms when they apply for an account. Merchant account debts include processing rates and fees, as well as disputed or reversed transactions, and chargebacks which have not been paid by the merchant. The Personal Guarantee is for protection against defaulting on the account; the Chargeback Process is a process where a cardholder or issuing bank disputes a transaction. Thus, the two are unrelated. If you still have questions or concerns about your account, the Chargeback process, or the Merchant Terms and conditions, we would be happy to speak with you.
