Rip off Don't buy!!
This company is a joke. They are discontinuing the program, and furthermore, if they make any payments it will be after the due date which will cost you late fees because the payment is after the due date. They encourage you to make payments, but you are using the Insurance you have been paying for because you can't afford to make the payment due to a disability. Both they & Comenity Bank don't care about their Customers.

Charges on my account that I didn’t know about.
04-14-22 Assure some how go put onto my Victoria’s Secret account. I’m not sure how they managed this, but it’s not something that I would’ve put on my account. They’ve been charging me ever since how do I go about taking legal actions? When I called Victoria’s Secret, all they can tell me is that on that date that I signed up for it. They cannot tell me how I signed up for it, whether it was talking to somebody on the phone or online.

Account assure is to pay your credit cards that are covered by this service if you become disable etc.
On June 1, 2023, I had surgery and was on medical leave from work. I have this benefit with Account Assure. They promise to pay your credit cards while you are on leave. For the entire duration of my benefits including November and December, payment was posted either late or not posted at all. They take payment out of my account promptly and precisely every month but they are not making payments currently even though I have a letter claiming they made a payment on the account on December14, 2023. I'm ALWAYS promised a phone call from the worthless analyst on my case but have NEVER heard from them and when I call to speak to one, they refuse telling me they will contact me. I have NEVER been able to speak to an analyst even though I ask for one when I call once a week.
Claimed loss: I've lost $72.00 in December because a payment was not made even though they claimed one was made on December 14, 2023.
Desired outcome: I want my payments to be made on time, the first of every month and to be reimbursed for what payments I had to make on their behalf. I also want to speak to the analyst as to why they never called me since November 16, 2023.

Account Assure
I filed a claim 08/25/23 for disability. I received forms to fill out with a different account number. I called, they apologized than sent me “proof of death” forms I called again and did not receive correct forms until November. My payments are due the 3rd of each month. I’ve been making my own payment because they are not making my payments even after submitting my paperwork and being approved. I was charged a late fee for them not making my payments on time.
Desired outcome: I want balance paid in full. Its been 4 months now.

Comenity Torrid Account Assure
This company basically stole almost $400 from me. Recently when making my monthly payment I couldn’t figure out why my balance was barely going down. I typically don’t look at my transactions because I hadn’t been making purchases and knew it was just my payments and interest charges. Except Account Assure started charging me in September of 2022. I called and talked to someone, saying I never agreed to this and that it was affecting my interest charges and ability to pay off the card. The woman told me automatically agreed to it when I signed up for the card in 2019 and should have been sent a welcome packet. Besides the fact that I never received said packet, they started charging me THREE YEARS after I signed up with no email, letter, any kind of warning.

Desired outcome: I want a refund for the money that was unknowingly taken from me when I did not agree to it

In july I verbally okay'd to use there service for my AAA visa. Two days later I called and canceled I was gien a confirmation # [protected]. Much to my surprise I am still being charged for something canceled. Assure Pro steal money instead of covering a customer. I will not be using my AAA visa either due to the fact they continue to use this company. Beware of theft small or large, theft is theft.

Credit protection plan
At the onset of securing a Victoria's Secret credit card, I was persuaded to purchase the credit protection insurance in the event of illness, unemployment or any other unforeseen circumstances which would impose a difficulty in paying my bill at Victoria's Secret.
I contacted Account Assure today and requested to initiate a claim and use my benefits. The nature of my claim is due to a medical condition and hospitalization. The customer service agent asked the reason for using the benefits, which was a hospitalization, and I was further questioned and told "more information would be required".
It was explained to me by the customer service representative as well as the Supervisor Dawn K., that in order to begin the claim, I would be required to divulge the nature of my medical condition, and reason for hospitalization.
It was explained the paperwork packet would arrive in 10-14 days. Upon completion, a copy of my discharge summary from the hospital as well as another form were to be completed by the Primary Care Physician. Both the customer service representative and the Supervisor stated that upon review, "IF" the medical information met their criteria, it would then be approved. I was instructed to continue to make all payments to my account until the claim was received, and approved.
I asked who would be making determination on medical necessity for admission to a hospital, did they have a medical professional on staff who would be determining whether one admission was warranted over another, and who would be seeing the medical documentation provided. No answers could be given by Account Assure representatives. I stated that I believed a HIPAA violation seemed to occurring with regard to a Violation of Privacy or Security of Health Information (HIPAA). It is unknown who sees this information, who evaluates it, and where it is stored after it is sent to the credit company.
Account Assure stated that without disclosing medical information, despite not having any information regarding the security and privacy of documents, or the necessity for that depth of information, a claim would not be opened, nor would any paperwork be sent out.
Per the explanation of coverages, as stated, all payments are to continue to be made, and there would be no stop to the incurring and rotating credit. It was explained that if the payment was made 3/6/23 at the end of the business day, and late fee or outstanding credit could continue to accrue.
It was also explained that if the account was paid in full prior to the processing of their paperwork, a credit would be made to the account, and it would now be my responsibility to follow up with Victoria's Secret Credit to pursue a payout, if possible, or the additional credits would remain in the account to be used at another time.
I asked the Credit Assure be cancelled as the use of the benefits was contingent on my disclosing medical information by means of doctor's reports and hospital records in addition to answering invasive questions about the nature of the admission.

Desired outcome: Payment of 86.04 is to be made based on hospitalization of 3/6/23 without forms filled out by PCP, or copies from the hospital. A signed form with the dates of admission and discharge by the policy holder should be sufficient.
Commenity Bank Credit Card
I filed a claim to use a benefit for account assure for a petland credit card in September 2022. At the end of September 2022 account assure paid a portion of the balance when they should have paid the full amount. I've called Account Assure regarding this numerous times and talked to countless representatives who say someone will call me back and they never do. Then I receive letters stating someone tried to reach me when they never did and a message was never left either. When calling Account Assure back I ask them to verify the phone number they called and they are unable to provide the phone number the representative claims they called but have my correct phone number in the system. This has been ongoing for 6 months now and is super frustrating and needs resolved now

Account Assure with Burlington
Yes, in August 2021 I needed to use account assure to pick up the payment because I was going through a difficult time during the coronavirus. They were ultimately unable to help me so I canceled the program because the bank enrolled me into a hardship program which let me make a payment of only $10 for twelve months until I got my financial situation back in order. Now fast forward almost twelve months and I realized on my bank statement from Burlington for February 2023 that my minimum payment went up to $20 so I started looking over the statement in its entirety and found that Account Assure has been taking over half of my $10 payment this entire time! I called them and let them know I cancelled the program which they said they could see but said I reenrolled at some point which is not true. I was told someone would call me back within seven business days to resolve the matter which no one has, after calling in a second time which was today February 16, 2023 I was giving the same exact time line with no results or outcome.
Desired outcome: I would like this useless program cancelled once and for all and to be refunded my money back to my Burlington account for the months since canceling.
Account assure insurance for boscovs
I have paid $10 extra a month on my credit card for a year now. I became very sick, as well as had an employer leave the state leaving me jobless for a little while. I made a claim in December 2022 telling them of my job loss. The claim papers were sent in the mail, I filled them out and sent them back promptly. I never heard anything back, I called again in the end of January. I explained the situation to another customer service representative. She advised me that I should apply for the disability benefit instead of the non-work benefit. All year I had been to over 20 specialists, the hospital every other month and still no answer concerning my health besides major stomach issues. The form that was sent to me has to be filled out by my primary care doctor and state the date of treatment in order to receive the benefit claims. However I have not had a treatment plan, because of the fact that they did not have a final determination of my illness. After being assured that being out of work would have my claim filed it was extremely unprofessional that no one reached back out to tell me any information on my case. Then calling back a month later saying that it was the wrong benefit claim. I have no way of filing out the disability claim if I am not on a treatment plan. Luckily aside from this business I went and saw a new doctor and have answers, but not a treatment plan yet. The amount of time I spent sick/jobless put me in a hole of debt and if your paying for insurance for that exact reason it should have been rectified. Today I called and closed my account AFTER calling commenity bank myself and signing up for the hardship relief program. I should have gotten a full refund for the entirety of the year that I spent extra money to have this insurance, which is quite clearly a scam.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back that I spent for the entirety of the year that I was enrolled with this program
Never signed up
I signed up for a bjs mastercard through commenity bank. At no point did I ever agree to or sign up for account protection. I don’t usually check my billing as I have automatic payments set up. Well got a notification that the bank is ending their affiliation with account assure. And checking back over months of bills found an additional charge each month that caused my balance to go up even though I was paying well beyond the minimum. I am a seasoned adult. And have known for years that these kind of programs are scams. I was apart of a class action that sued capital one for a similar situation 15 years ago so I know to never agree to one of these farces. However they claim I had to have agreed to it. Well I asked for a copy of my signature and was told I would need to speak to a manager. Which is never going to happen. So I suggest we start forming the numbers for a class action suit against these. Scumbags.

I just realized that I was being charged for Account Assure on my Comenity - Jared Jewelry account. I never signed up for this and apparently after speaking with Comenity yesterday, they don't send statements or emails when statements post so I didn't know when/how to send payment until it was already past due. Have to watch these companies like a hawk. Now I have to figure out how to get the two Assure charges credited back to my account. Let me know about that class-action...I'll join!

I have been out of work since 9/29/22
I tried to find work fast before my next billing cycle with burlington coat of which I still made a payment in november with my last pay check.
I contacted account assure in november to file a claim I gave then all the information I could possibly provide and that of course was not enough. I spoke with a christiana who basically told me they ask for more than average informationdue to so much fraud that went on during the pamdemic as though I am the blame for that.
I sent over all the proof they needed and they seem to still not want to pay for the services they advertised.
I now filing a complaint because she stated it had to be 30 days and in actuallity it was over 30 days I was laid off frim my job in september and I did not file a claim until november in hopes I would find work fast.
They have forced me to provide a work search document as well as excessive documents to prove I am not filing a fraudlent claim.
Account Assure
I was enrolled with Account Assurance through Victoria Secret and Best Buy. I called to cancel the service on both cards. It was canceled on my Best Buy but never the Victoria Secret. I kept paying my paperless balance without looking at my statement. It was barely going down. So now I realized this entire time I was still being charged. Now all of the sudden they have “No Record” of my canceling. I asked them do they send an email and was told they only mail out a letter with a confirmation number. I’m beyond pissed that I’ve canceled this service years ago & they’re giving me the run around still. I just called again & the 4th person literally just told me it’s STILL NOT CANCELED! Like how?
Desired outcome: I would love back payment from when I canceled.

Account protection
I was inadvertenly enrolled in Account Assure through my account through The Children Place. I noticed that my balance was not decreasing, so I checked my statement and to my suprise I had been enrolled in Account Assure since 2018 up until last month when I called and asked to be unenrolled. Their claim is that if you were not aware that The Children Place had automatic enrolled you in Account Assure that your money would be refunded, which is a false statement. I talked to several customer representives at Account Assure, some told me that I would recieve $500 back of the $1000 that they took from my bank account through The Children Place , but in the end they only refunded me $128. Account Assure in my opinion is a scam. I would like to ave a resolution in my case and to be refunded my money back, since I did not know that I was enrolled in the program. When a person dailed their phone line, they clearly state that a person can be refunded their money back, but that is not true, because I have tried to get my money back and could not

I signed up for this Account Assure in Jan 22 thinking that this company will pay for my credit card debts in case I lost my job. I was unemployed for 6 months from Sept 2021 to Feb 2022 but Assure was of no help. I already cancelled the services in Aug 2022 but it is only lately that I was able to go over my credit card statements and found out this multiple charges. Pls See below for multiple charges copied from my Loft credit card bill. I called Account Assure customer service on 11/1/22. Repres said I have to call Loft about it. I called Loft, repres said that the issue should be taken care of by Account assure. This company is a scam

I never signed up for account assure
I got a Children's Place credit card last year around July 2021. I received a statement from a purchase I made. It did not have Account Assure on it. I haven't used that card in almost a year and all of a sudden I have the bank calling me with late notices and over due bills. So I check my account. They have been charging me Account Assure since November 2021, and since I didn't sign up for it or even know what it was I was charged every month since with Account assure, minimum interest fees and late fees. I'm not sure if it's community bank, Children's place or Account Assure, but I'm not paying any of those charges because I didn't sign up for it. I called and they even said I didn't have an account with them. So here I am waiting for a call back that should have happened last week to fix this issue they created. I'm never getting a card through here again!
Desired outcome: I want all these fees and charges removed from my account. I also want to shut the card off, as I will never use this card again
Stage credit card
I have a closed account with Stage and I keep getting charges and the phone number for assur keeps automathanging up on me after I go through the prompts. Stage told me I have to cancel this myself. I'm also having the same problem with my Amazon store card account.
I spoke with stage on 10/12/2022 and was told to contact Account assure directly. Otherwise I was still receive charges from them on my account.

I have been being charged between 50 and 60 dollars every month on both my Victoria’s Secret and Forever21 credit cards since 2020 without my permission. It has put both my cards way beyond the limit and therefore having me charged interest rates based on the over the limit! I have repeatedly contacted Account Assure. They give me the full run around. Put me on hold until the call disconnects. They have sent me to their website which DOES NOT EXIST.

I had my big & tall credit card for 5 years & 5 months now on June 13 of 2022 I found out that I’ve had an extra interest rate from account Assure which I never knew I even had all I wanted was a king size credit card. 5 years & 3 months now I total interest rate for account Assure came out 2 705.25 cents big & tall never told me about this account assure stuff, I would never got the credit card I’m on paperless billing so all I see is the total the big & tall interest rate & the minimum payment. I would like this 2 be solved & I would like the 705.25 credit back 2 my big & tall credit card so I can canceled the card I will never do business with big & tall ever again or account assure thank u very much
