Failure to meet an order/scamming/unethical business practices
John Ndungu accepted an order and was paid upfront for flies which we have never received. after two months of John Ndungu being non-responsive, he approached me with a quantity of flies he could not move. We agreed to revise the order to add these flies. The flies were sent and our initial order of flies has been omitted. We made made payments of 150 + 400 + 218 dollars as fast as possible for inferior flies with a remaining 400 left and he started a campaign of bad mouthing because we did not like his threats. We asked for him to remove his post and we will schedule for his last payment. Despite the flies being inferior and not the quality that can be resold we have tried to reconcile John if his campaign stops. He said he did not want the money and has refused payment via. paypal and said he would rather have the drama and he continue a campaign of bad mouthing to our clients as well as on facebook, and linkedin. He has caused much more collateral damage than what it was worth doing business with Premium Fishing Flies. Do not do business with Premium Flies.
Flyfishing Flies
Placed an order in October of 2015. Thought it was secured through PayPal but four months later, still have not received the order. Checked PayPal and no record that the order was placed although my AMEX card was charged. No refund by AMEX as the request has to be made within 60 days of transaction. The vendor has emailed me back periodically on progress reports of the order that always has a reason why my order has not arrived, even after four months. Most recent is lost tracking number at DHL. Believe this to be a complete scam.
If you want to sell anything to them kindly let them pay upfront, these guys literally abused me over a telephone conversation of which i was asking for my payment.
Premium Fishing Flies with John Ndungu has a nightmare. We also have problems with his service. We initial did an order last January of 2016 which he has never produced the initial order and was non responsive to the order. We have never received the flies for the first order. Eventually John responded asking us to take flies that he could not move. Our order was suppose to be part of the revised order of flies. We accepted the flies and paid about 75 percent of the funds +/-. The flies we received were not of quality to resale and we continued to pay on his account. He demand the last payment right after a payment and we asked him to wait a few weeks to finish his account. John started a campaign of insulting and derogatory remarks to myself and my employer. He was told to removed the remarks and we will schedule for the next payout. He refused and escalated his campaign to hurt Anglers Addiction. Instead of being bullied, we said he needs to remove his remarks and post an apology and we will schedule him for payment. He refused, and said he enjoys the confrontation and it does not matter if is account is not closed. I tried to make payments out of my individual paypal account and he has refused. John wants the turmoil and has never delivered the initial flies we have ordered. Now he continues his campaign across the internet without telling anyone of complete story. We are not being blamed for the flies we have never received that we paid for. The quality of the flies we have received has been returned do to the poor quality and John is relentless unless he gets what he wants with no compromise. If you chose to do business with John with Premium Flies. He will not deliver the flies account to several other people who has filed complaints here but he will cause as much collateral damage to your associates as possible. He will contract your list of clients and make outrageous claims to disrupt your business. Do not take the risk with John Ndungu and Premium Flies. This is why Kenyan Fly Tiers have such a bad reputation.
Trout Fishing flies
I have ordered 1200 flies in April 2009 from this company. They got the money totally in advance but just delivered 200 of them. After following them several times and more than 8 months they are not going to send the rest of the flies that they already got the money for. They even do not answer any e-mail that I send for following them.
