Priceline.com Cheated me on refund / cancellation

I am currently in the process of moving out of my apartment in Montgomery, TX and therefore reserved a hotel suite at Home 2 Suites located at 705 N. Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX 77060 for the dates of June 01, 2021 to June 08, 2021. Due to some delays with my move, I called Home 2 Suites on Tuesday, June 1st and spoke with the front desk to let them know that I could not check in until Thursday, June 03, 2021 in which the girl at the front desk said that that would be okay and that my room would stay reserved and to reach out to Priceline so that they could make the changes accordingly. I then immediately called Priceline and spoke with customer service who said that he would have to call the hotel himself to confirm further availability and to see about me receiving credit for the two days or a refund for the days. He put me on hold as he called the hotel. He came back online about 2mins later and told me that he had called the hotel multiple times and cannot reach anyone and that he therefore could not do anything further until he could reach the hotel and that he would call me back. I never received a call back from Priceline.

I then called Priceline again yesterday afternoon and spoke with a shift manager explaining to her what had happened and she then put me on hold and called the hotel. She then came back online with me and stated that I had been misinformed by the hotel on Tuesday when I had first spoke with them and that I was now considered a "no show" and that I cannot get a refund back nor receive credits nor can I check-in at a later date! Yet, the policy states that if a cancellation or no show occurs that at worst, I, (my mother's card), would only be charged for one day of the daily price quoted. However, this has not happened, and no one with Priceline is working on a solution with me to resolve this. I asked to speak to her manager and was promised a call back last night within 30mins from her general manager and I have not received a call back. I have been calling them again this morning and still have not received any phone calls back. They charged my mother's card before the 24hr period deadline which is stated in their policy. In addition, they are charging us the whole week's amount rather than just for one night if as stated in their policy for when a cancellation or no show has occurred - but I neither cancelled my reservation nor was I a no show because I have been communicating with both the hotel and Priceline to the best of my ability, but I was not getting any responses or resolutions to solve the problem.

I later tried to access my Priceline account, but got a response that says my account does not exist. This is the worst treatment I have ever experienced with a hotel and/or hotel reservation company.

They finally sent an email stating they would refund part of the money, but as yet, no money has been received back into my mother's bank account. And they should return ALL of the money ($507.78), not just the one night, since I tried everything I could to contact them to change my reservation well within the time limits.

Priceline.com Booking Reservations

I have tried booking several trips thru priceline and all have been rejected. There is no reason why my trips should be declined my debit card has plenty of money on it but yet they keep declining me of use of their service. I checked with the with the credit bureaus and my bank and there are no fraud alerts on either. My bank said it was probably their service. They have the best prices. I keep getting hung up on too. I was on hold twice with them for long periods of time and they keep hanging up on me. I believe because I am a women they feel they can treat me anyway they want. I've had trouble with them in the the past too. I want to understand why they want let me use their service. There are no fraud alerts at bank or on my credit card. Someone who has a personal axe grind against me is doing this. My name is Gina Neilly and my phone number is [protected]

Priceline.com Royalton bavaro and spa

Hello. This communication is for documentation purposes. 

Priceline trip number: 346-959- 223-45 and 346-922-463-44

Attached is the appropriate descriptions that were explained to the staff with regards to this ongoing customer service issues.

We are still waiting in regards to the response from the hotel in regards to the water damages that we initiated complaints on December 26, 2020.

Your hotel could not accommodate a room transfer.

The water leakage spa issue was addressed numerous times. First address was December 26, 2020 in the late evening when the water was leaking.

Second address December 27, 2020 in the afternoon upon additional leakage.

Due to the quarantine government requirements we could not leave the hotel during the stay. 

Please advise if the company is investigating these matters and the appropriate compensations in regards to these customer service issues.

Priceline.com Express car rental

Not super handy with the computer and made one click too many when trying to find out the price of an Express Rental. Found out I had confirmed the deal and didn't mean to. Called Priceline right away and they won't budge on the transaction. Called the credit card company and they can't, called the car rental and they can't. Have called Priceline every other day and they will not budge. What horrible customer service.

Priceline.com Customer Service

I booked a flight and rental car for a business trip. I had to cancel because of a Covid outbreak and the plant closure. I jumped online and cancelled my flight with no issues. The rental car cancellation told me I need to contact customer service. I called, spoke to 3 different people. Was informed that the cancellation of books was based on agreements between Priceline and the vendor. Priceline's site even directs you to the rental car vendor for their own cancellation policies (this case Thrifty). Thrifty allows for cancellations. Priceline however refused to cancel and keep saying it was the policy. I told them that their own site references the policies of the vendors that have partnered with an Thrifty allows for cancellation, so i would like to see their cancellation policy. Needless to say they refused to cancel and refused to provide a policy of their own that stated there are no cancellation. Priceline could care less about customers. Never book a car through Priceline.

Desired outcome: I would loved to have been able to cancel my booking for services I will not be able to use. I tried to do all this before the date.

Priceline.com Refund on my return ticket from SFO to Arlanda

I purchased a two way ticket from Priceline on 2-5-20 (Itinerary# [protected], Confirmation number: PS3Z2D). The return ticket (SFO--Arlanda) was cancelled by SAS several times due to Covid restrictions at SFO airport. I requested SAS for a refund and they refer me to Priceline, while Priceline refers me to the airline.

Priceline.com Flight tickets

Hi
I had booked 2 tickets from Priceline through the Priceline agent. The agents kept on saying they will give the refund or compensate with other flights if the existing flights don't allow us to board due to visa restrictions. And as soon as we reached airport the airlines dint allow us to board so we called Priceline and asked for refund and no reply. Such a fraud company it is, they have not been replying nor replying properly on our refund status. Now it's been more than 15 days we dint receive any refund yet.

More than $4000+ has been struct with Priceline and they aren't even giving any refund even after all the promises they made. All the agents keep lying so they we can book the tickets and whenever we call they say they can't hear. Such a [censored] company.

Priceline.com Hotel offer not as described at all

Priceline promoted their get any three star hotel THEIR PICK in kingsland GA. I fell for it. I ended up with Quinta by Wyndham. Hotel was a disaster where the water coming from faucet smelled of swamp. The added an undisclosed $100 fee in addition to the room rate in case I wanted to steal the pillows or the sheets or towels. At 2 am no choices. The hot water am smelled swampy. Breakfast was a no go. The shower left me itching until I could get home to another. Had to wait in am to check out to get a receipt for my refund of $100 to allow room service to check room that every one if the cheap bedding items etc was still in room. Sheets had pills they were so cheap. Horrid choice by Priceline guess only way to get people in those rooms. Even the pool was dirty.

Priceline.com Hotel stay

Booked thru Priceline for stay at Marriott in Macon Ga .Hotel bathroom toilet wouldn't flush. Sad to find this out after the fact! Made me sick to my stomach as toilet overflowed. Attendant on duty who didn't wear a name badge didn't seem concerned. Said the maintenance man would be in later( this is 6 am). Ended up going from 5th floor to lobby for bathroom needs🤬
Lobby bathroom was dirty and no paper towels. The night attendant was picking up trash from lobby but he must have overlooked the lobby bathrooms during the night. Worst customer service ever!

Priceline.com Attitude of shop assistant

Whilst spending a few days at Broadbeach, I was waiting to meet a relative for lunch at midday on Monday, 10 May. But when she messaged me that she was running late, I decided to visit the Priceline store at the Oasis shopping centre to purchase silicea hair, skin, nails capsules. I was standing at the pay counter with my purchase. The shop assistant totally ignored me and called across to a customer browsing the shelves to ask if she wanted help (even though there were several staff members on the shop floor for this purpose). She then took the product from me and asked if I was a member. I said I was but had to get the card from my wallet. Meanwhile the credit card pinged so I zapped it to pay. (She asked if I wanted a receipt and I said I didn't as the price would immediately come up on my phone). As I did so the assistant was putting the item into a bag without asking me if I required one. I advised her that I didn't require a bag. But I had my membership card in my hand. She then walked away towards another assistant who had entered the payment counter. I held up my membership card and she told me I was too late as I had already paid. I then walked back into the store as I wished to look at the lipsticks. But then decided I didn't wish to spend any more money in that particular store. Whilst walking out of the store I looked across at the assistant and she just smirked at me. Had I only spent a few dollars, the assistant's attitude aside, I would not have been bothered by this. But $35 is a lot of money to accumulate points on. Especially when on returning to Melbourne I found that I could have purchased exactly the same product for $5 cheaper at the Chemist Warehouse! This is not a complaint about Priceline generally as the assistants at my local Priceline store are always courteous and friendly. But about one particular shop assistant. When in retail we were always taught to remember that 'you need the customer more than the customer needs you'! The attitude of staff goes along way to encouraging customers to return to a store.

Priceline.com car rental cancellation

I reserved car on line and i decided not to rent a car because my budget wouldn't allow it so i cancelled the reservation, immediately. what's interesting to me is not only would the service rep not help me but i couldn't find my original reservation or the cancelation. i shop with Price line all the time and this is the first time that i ever had to cancel a reservation. it's even more interesting to me that when i went to find my precious reservation at a hotel stay in Illinois, i couldn't find that either. my credit card was charged $104.00 for insurance and $465.47 for the rental of a car that i never even picked up, because i knew it was cancelled. i saw i was charged early on but i just knew i was going to be credited.

Priceline.com Car rental

my wife rented a car through priceline. On the contract it said she could use her debit card for the deposit at the car rental location. When we got to the car rental place they said there policy changed as of Feburary and everyone must use a credit card. They said that priceline had to change the reservation. We called priceline. Supposedly spoke to 4 different supervisors who all said they couldn't give us a full refund because the computer wouldn't let them. They even called National rental car to find out whether the policy changed which it had. They looked at the contract my wife had were they said she could use her debit car. After hours on the phone the best they could say was the computer won't let them change it and the proceeded to STEAL our money despite there breach of contract.

Priceline.com Hotel booking

Booked 2 rooms and paid hotel couldn't release one room to us because they said Priceline is t paying for the room although they took my money and gave me reservations took 2 hours sitting in parking lot waiting finally got room and room was used dirty ruffled sheets towels on floor bath room used unsanitary room very disappointed with Priceline and hotel never again will let everyone know my experience

Priceline.com Hotel booking

I was given a room where the toliet would not flush. My reservation was a 2 day stay. Reported it to the front desk of hotel. Because there was no manager on site they could not and would change my room. The toliet is not flushing and the room smells and bodily waste is over the restroom. The hotel would not refund my stay. I ask priceline for help because this is who I paid my money too. It took priceline 2 months to tell me I will not be getting a refund. I know the reservation was non refundable but when you have to stay in an room where the toliet will not flush that's terrible. No one seem to care. The customer was just horrible on both end. How will you feel if you was forced to stay in a stinky smelly unsanitary room. So much for customer service. It bothers me to keep explain ordeal I encounter it was in humane. And no one seem to care. So the hotel finally gave me a room change on the 2nd night at 1a in the morning and told me check out is still at 11a. Never again will I book through priceline. I've learned to just go ahead and pay the few extra dollars and be comfortable.

Priceline.com Comfort Suites Tuscan Arizona AZ110

On April 17, 2021, I had the unpleasant experience of staying at a Comfort Suites (AZ110) in Tuscon Arizona. We arrived late from traveling from CA and were exhausted. If it had not been so late when we arrived, we would of refused the room and demanded our money back. Upon entering the Lobby, it reeked of Marijuana or something else. Attached are pictures of the filthy condition of our room. Stains on the carpet and furniture. We were given 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel that was falling apart and had string coming loose. Our Hot Continental Breakfast was a brown paper bag with 1 bottle water, 1 orange, 1 fiber breakfast bar and 1 mint.

If I were to give this hotel, desk clerk and condition of our room a rating, it would be -10. I have never in my life experienced such deplorable conditions in a hotel. Bigger insult was that I was charged $104.01

I am requesting a full refund.

Priceline.com Auto collision insrance

Terrible customer service. I was on hold for 20 minute by a associate after I explained that I wasn't able to receive a rental from the rental company because I was placed on the do not rent. The customer service agent put me on hold for 20 minute which then resulted in her hanging up on me.

Priceline.com Unauthorized charge

While doing price check only, my card was charged $398.52 in March. Spoke with the hotel and the reservation was cancelled with no charge and no fees, yet Priceline has kept the money. I am reopening the dispute with my card with a document I received from the hotel showing that there was no charge and Priceline has kept the money. We are senior citizens and we cannot afford to pay for something we never purchased. Thank you

Priceline.com Hotel stay at the Jet Luxury condos in Las Vegas

I booked a reservation with Priceline March 30 - April 2 at the Jet Luxury at the signature condos Hotel in Las Vegas. My stay was quit nice there except for on April 1st we ordered extra towels and toiletries and they were delivered promptly. My friend left the hotel to go down to the Casino and I stayed behind to shower and to my surprise an employee came into my hotel without knocking or giving any forewarning whatsoever. I was half naked and completely offended. When asked what he was doing he replied delivering toiletries that he had an order on. He left promptly. After my friend returned we discussed the matter at hand and decided to not let it ruin our vacation. The more I thought about it though the more I got upset. It looked to me that the employee was about to rob my hotel and that he was using the call up to our hotel as a front to get into our room. I have since returned from my vacation and am now writing you to inform you of my stay. I would like some action taken on this matter and I would like to be compensated for my misfortune.

Priceline.com Airline trip

Booked a roundtrip with priceline which included frontier airlines. Horrible flights which h they charge you $42 for carry on bag. Wont let you choose seat unless you pay more. Staff was absolutely rude to my wife who is hard of hearing. I should have booked somewhere else. Flight comfort horrible. It's like flying a Nazi airline. The tone of the flight attendants was horrible. A small carry on backpack $42. Robbery
