Flights with Spirit Airlines in your travel packets
Priceline/booking.com Trip # [protected]
Our flight out from Sacramento to Las Vegas was delayed 2.5 hrs. Our return flight was CANCELED. No recourse accept to rebook with a last minute flight cost increase-of course, or pay for a hotel and hope for the best with a rebooking (the next day) and have Spirit do what they have already done to me personally twice...CANCEL again. NOT! I've been canceled by Spirit once before. When I realized in your packet that Spirit was the airline I was hesitant to book, but thought I would take the chance once again...Never again! If you continue to support Spirit Airlines in your travel packets I for one will not book through you. Both Priceline and Booking.com your reputation is being severely hampered in doing business with Spirit Airlines. I will go with another travel site to book a trip.
Desired outcome: Put Spirit Airlines out of business by not supporting an airline that treats it's consumers with such disregard and respect. Spirit Airlines is given an "F" as far as I'm concerned. They say F*** Y** to it's customers.
Priceline didn't give correct flight information
I booked a flight from China to US on March. Priceline trip number: [protected].The intenary was showing leaving on a Friday as I intended to book. However, I received a confirmation message from the airline just a couple days before the departure saying the departure day is on Thursday. I couldn't make the flight and had to pay an additional $1800 to change the flight. Even after I cancel the Priceline order, I continued to get emails from Priceline about the wrong information reminding me about the non existent flight. I think Priceline's online database needs to be updated to reflect the true information. Priceline wouldn't offer compensation afterwards even though their fault caused their customers. I won't shop with Priceline unless they address to my compliant to my satisfaction.
Desired outcome: I want to be compensated for $1800 for the flight change caused by Priceline's oversight of their flight information validation
Service results (non-service) for auto rental booked thru priceline and the charges. Requesting refund of charges.
Dear representative(s),
On May 16, 2023 I booked a flight and rental car thru your partner Priceline. The Priceline trip # is [protected]. Spirit confirmation FMS9MX. Suppliers choice/Green Motion rentals confirmation # 4IHCF8, Los Angeles, Ca. PH# [protected].
Upon arrival, the Green Motion representative informed me that they did not have a vehicle as booked. Also, that an alternative vehicle would be provided at an additional charge - per day. Next, after providing them with full coverage insurance (allstate), the rep informed me that it was better/policy to have insurance thru Green Motion - at an additional fee per day. Thirdly, the rep informed me that the deposit hold amount was $400.00. Subsequently, he increased the amount to $500.00. Finally, the rep increased the deposit hold amount again to $1000.00. I informed him that I would not use their services. Rep stated I need to contact Priceline for my refund. Priceline states Spirit is responsible for customer service. Neither Spirit nor Priceline will help me.
Desired outcome: I am requesting a refund of the vehicle rental charges - for which I received no services.
Quality Inn in Quincy Florida
I was booked for the night of june 11 2023. The place is a wreck. Multiple doors with dents, and I mean a lot of doors, clear signs of abuse, broken Air conditioning covers doors to rooms open because their ac, s were not working and scary characters hanging on the second floor balcony eyeing my car and wife. I got the hell out of there. It felt creepy and dangerous. Asked for a refund, denied. But the money wasnt worth the risks. That place is a mess and not what is advertized. The pet friendly ad was absolutely false, because I had to sign a waver for a 150 dollar fine if I was caught with a pet. I am professional carpenter and builder of 45 years experience and a restoration specialist for the National Park service and even repaired the door to the Alamo, restored the Mcdonald ranch at white sands Nm an a lot more. Trust me, I have an eye and can see more than the average person. This is a false ad case if I never see another. Lol glad to get out there alive. Yall a good day.
Desired outcome: refund. otherwise I chalk it up to experience and look elsewhere. [protected]@yahoo.com
False advertising by priceline.com & booking.com
I've been driving for 25 years. I had my first accident and went to the Enterprise Burnt Tree Branch in Dudley to receive a rental car. I explained to the person there why I needed a car. He informed me that there were no cars available until Friday, even though it was only Monday at that time. I found myself without a car, no money, and feeling stranded. I was worried about how I would pick up my kids from school and go to work in the evening.
Now, shifting gears to another topic, I want to talk about priceline.com and Booking.com. These two companies are actually under the same parent company. My experience with them has been quite disappointing. I visited their website to book a room for two nights, specifying that there would be two adults and two kids. The website allowed me to select a two-queen room and provided a price. I went ahead and added all the taxes and fees, completing the payment.
However, the confirmation I received stated, in fine print, that the booking was for two adults only, with additional charges for kids. This is completely false advertising. Although the customer service agent I spoke to was very nice, the manager I later encountered was rude and unhelpful. They claimed that I had booked for two adults and now I have no proof of my initial selection. I challenge you to try it right now; it's a clear and blatant fraud.
Overall, my experience with these companies has been disappointing, and their false advertising practices need to be addressed.
Desired outcome: They need to fix their fraudelent practices
Room reservations for Bard's Inn Ashland Or. Conformation #[protected]
On June 6, 2023 a friend and I call the number listed on the page of Bard's Inn. We thought we were calling the reservation desk direct. We told the representative what we needed. We would need three separate rooms for two nights, August 2nd, 3rd checking out on August 4th. We asked for the cost of the rooms and were quoted $139.00 per night. We agreed to that and she then said the total cost would be $1057.45. Before agreeing we asked if there were any more fees or costs and was told no the amount would be $1057.45. Upon checking on my credit card statement I was charged $1135.26 plus a service fee of $15.99 for a total of $1151.25 an amount we did not agree to. I think I am due a refund of $93.80. See the attached copied from my credit card statement.

Refusing the refund a prepaid reservation when the hotel was overbooked
Booked a prepaid room at Jackson Extended Stay. When I arrived at the hotel I was told they were overbooked and would not honor my prepaid reservation and I'd need to take it up with Priceline. called Priceline to get another room and was told "system" won't let them book another room, so I ended up without a room even though I paid for it.
When I called for a refund, I was told the "system" wont let them refund the reservation.
Basically, if you book a room with Priceline it's like buying a lottery ticket. Sometimes you get a room, sometime you don't, but either way you lose your money.
Desired outcome: Refund of price paid and compensation for the additional room I had to book that night, so I won't have to sleep in my car.
Hotel cancellation
I booked a hotel due to my brother being in ICU. My brother ended up passing late that night so I wanted to cancel the rest of my trip. The hotel was definitely on board with refunding rest of the trip but Priceline kept telling me they could never get a hold of a manager and finally 5 days later that they would not issue a refund for the days I did NOT stay in the hotel!
This is absolutely ridiculous! This company needs to shut its doors! I will be posting complaints on every place I can find!
Desired outcome: REFUND
Motel reservations
I was staying at this location since May 21 super eight in manassas. When I first checked in, I was not asked for a deposit and then a couple days later on May 23 I was asked for a deposit after the front desk employee saw my guest I saw the employee earlier and he didn’t ask for anything until he saw my guest. I asked him why if I didn’t pay for a deposit when I first check in on may 21st why pay one now? He stated that every single person that comes to the property has to pay a deposit but she’s not sure because I wasn’t asked to pay a deposit when I first checked in. I asked around the location and asked a couple of people if they had to pay deposit minorities said yes but why people said no. I was kicked out the hotel and couldn’t enjoy my reservation for those two nights how is this fair. This place is a racist and discriminate people. I have evidence of ask people if they pay deposit you will see that the white said no the minorities said yes.
Desired outcome: refunds for both reservations
Visa Card
I filed a dispute on a transaction in January and my case was won on March 17th. However, the charge remains on my account and now it says I owe the minimum paymet by June 8. I have called repeatedly about this issue and they keep telling me they will escalate it, but nothing has been done to issue me a credit. Now I am concerned about late fees and having this go against my credit if I don't pay even though I don't need to pay it because I won the dispute. They keep promising me that a manager will call me because when I call they won't transfer me to one. I have had this charge on my account since January and its June now. I won the case and am still fighting this. I want to close my account and am very frustrated with the lack of service on this card regarding this matter. I need my credit now!
Desired outcome: Please credit my card the amount due to me from my dispute
Customer Service/Refunds
IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 5 star review I would. In the beginning of March I booked a trip to Florida and canceled the hotel within a week which was good enough to get a full refund. As of today (5/31) I still have not received it. This was the 10th contact (13th if you count the 3 times they hung up on me) since this saga has started. All paperwork for proof of transaction and charges was submitted AND approved by them multiple times. Then today they said that they cannot link this transaction type to the property (EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS APPROVED BY THEM). I will no longer use a company and that DOES NOT SUPPORT OR CARE about their customers. It is a travesty that this is going on for so long...
Desired outcome: REFUND
Britannia Hotel
Dear Priceline,
I had the pleasure of visiting London and made a plan to stay at the Britannia Canary Wharf. Honestly, it was the worst hotel stay ever and not only was I disappointed I also met guests who complained and commented as well.
1. I arrived on May 27th and found that my reservation I made erroneously was canceled so instead of honoring the price they charged me the full amount. The room 707 hey gave me had buggers on the wall and other things on the wall and the room was dirty. I took photos and complained.
2. The next day May 28th I rebooked thru priceline and I checked in to this dark room with no windows. They next morning I woke up and there we flys and bugs everywhere. They wanted to spray the room and leave me there fortunately a manager saw all the bugs and moved me to room 104 from room 110.
3. Lastly, I had money stolen from me while my stay at the hotel and they refused to provide me any documentation so I had to file a police report at which point I was in room 104.
This hotel is not good at all and I recommend priceline be aware of this matter, as I am a respectable customer of priceline and use your service for my travels.
Sincerely,
Rose Satz
Desired outcome: I wish to be credited for the nights I stayed at the Britannia International Hotel, as I have photos of all the items I have explained and can provide evidence of the uncleanliness and bugs.
Refund or at the very least difference in the price from my email at $58.58 to the price. I paid $130.
I booked into a hotel had the worst experience ever no security no locks on the door, bloodstream sheets, dirty blankets, etc. and this was given to me as a 4 to 5 star hotel. I was told there’s no refunds or money back. I told Priceline that I had paid $130 for the hotel when the hotel at South told me it was only $58.58. I even have the email. Priceline refused to give me the difference or pay me back the full amount. This is the worst experience ever and they would not help to make this better. I have told him that from now on if nothings dealt with, I will go to every route possible to let people know at the poor service from Priceline. I was kept on hold off and on for several days telling me that they would deal with us and work things out and then they came back on hold told me to call back every time I called back that start again read the notes and say oh we have to contact the hotel. I sent in all the pictures of the hotel and the locks being broken no lock on the unit door etc. and they still would not help me. To boot I was also sick from the food and it ruined three days of my vacation they offered me 20% off for future bookings. That is not good enough. They say they price match they did not price match. This is the worst company ever they’re not even helping me or talking to me.
Wrong hotel
I was tryning to reserve a motel in Payson Arizona and it ended up being a hotel in Payson Utat, which I cant use. And they say sorry no refunds or changes. I email and called within 10 minutes of seeing the wrong hotel was booked. So now I am out 250 dollars and I hate Priceline and will burn them to the ground on every complint and revue site I can find... and I have lots of time on my hands so... be ready Priceline... you SUCK... Bunch of thieves.

Desired outcome: give me my money back I cant use the hotel in the wrong state and the reservation isnt until august 2023
Miss information on room details
We recently made a booking of the website which I had booked a double room. On the website there was two choices Double room without windows or double room, so I picked the double room.. on the intinory it’s then said inner room which I phoned Priceline and they said it had windows as is picked the double room and not the double room without windows. When we got to the hotel the hotel said we’d booked a room without windows which we hadn’t. We paid £180 for a room for two night expected windows in the room because I am clostrophobic in then had to pay an extra chmarge through the hotel to have a room with windows. Priceline have given misleading information about the room and then I’ve had to pay extra which I think is a disappointment when we’d already laid for a room with windows.
Desired outcome: Compensation as a good gesture for misleading information and us having to pay extra to upgrade
Flight: customer service
On May 20th, 2023, as always, I used Priceline to purchase a ticket for a round-trip flight from Memphis, TN, to Casablanca, Morocco, through Priceline. Shortly after, I realized my name had been duplicated in the passenger's name do a system error. I called customer service for assistance, and the supervisor, who answered, said she would fix the issue. After being on hold on the phone for 40 min, she told me that the only way to do it was to cancel the flight and rebook. I expressed my concerns regarding canceling the flight to pay a higher price after waiting to receive the refund when it was an easy fix to my duplicated name do to there system malfunctioning, especially not my mistake. I asked to speak to her manager, and she said no one was above her.
To my great shock, when I called back shortly after to see if a different person could resolve the issue, the customer service lady informed me that my ticket had been canceled/voided with no name of who canceled it. I was taken aback, as I never gave such permission, nor was I informed that the supervisor would take this action and has the right to do so. I spoke to the same supervisor again, and when the customer service lady transferred my call, she admitted that she was the one canceling my flight by advising me that this was the only way to correct my name on the system. Advising someone doesn't mean they agree to something.
This situation has caused me significant inconvenience. Spend all my weekend on the phone with Priceline and United to cancel the reset of the ticket as she canceled half and left me with a return ticket only. Waiting for the refund to process took four days and not 24 hours, not to mention financial loss as I used a credit line via Affirm to purchase the ticket but after refunding the money I lost the pre qualification to get the same amount do to the fact that cancelation effect the loan qualification amount, as I will have to book another flight at a much higher cost and change all my plans to pay the difference.
Desired outcome: I would like Priceline to pay for the ticket price difference and also pay for the difference on my loan qualification is down by $500.00 dollars and also to compensate me on my time waisted, stress, changing all my plans and arrangements.
Refund not received
On April 24th I booked a flight on Priceline. Within an hour I canceled due to the offering not including the high cost of luggage and seats.
I had been instructed by Priceline to cancel directly with EasyJet which I did immediately.
I rebooked our flights and was promised a refund with a stiff penalty.
I have spent long hours on the phone waiting on hold and speaking to Priceline (five times) only to be referred back to EasyJet.
I had texted on April 24th and was told I would receive a refund minus a penalty within three days. Though it wasn’t $40 as stated on EasyJets website, due to the third party involvement I reluctantly agreed to the hefty $77 dollar penalty.
On May 25th after a month of back and forth EasyJet confirmed in an email that they refunded Priceline (or perhaps someone else’s credit card) on April 25th and as a result I haven’t received the refund. I was referred back to Priceline again by EasyJet and Priceline referred me back to EastJet. An hour and a half flight is costing me $900.00 if I don’t get back the refund!
Since Priceline booked the flight shouldn’t they be held accountable? EasyJet refunded Priceline within 24 hours!
Desired outcome: Priceline is responsible since they were the original travel agent who made the payment arrangements through my credit card and received the funds from EasyJet to reimbursement me immediately.
Hotel reservations
- I booked the hotel via Priceline on Feb 02,2023 at Kuhio Banyan Club for 4 nights (March 25-29) it’s non refundable booking. And I realized that I booked the wrong month. I contacted the priceline immediately and customer service was not helpful. They told me the hotel didn’t pick up the phone but every time I called the hotel, the hotel picked up my phone. And they said they cannot refund or change the reservation. So I tried to dispute on my bank account. After that I got the email cancellations from Priceline on Feb 22 and mention they will proceed the refund. I found out the month later that the refund was $0. I called their customer service again and they cannot really help anything. Some of their customer service advised me to dispute via my bank account.
First of all, why priceline sent an email to cancel my reservation and mention they will refund that made the customer thought that I will get the refund but the refund is $0. I found out later that it’s auto email and not clear information in their email.
Secondly, I knew that it’s non - refundable policy and I will stay with the hotel without choice but they sent me cancellation email. That was the reason why I had to find another hotel to stay and priceline still charged my money for service I didn’t use.
Thirdly, their customer service are not the position to help anything. So I really don’t know who I should contact to really help and resolve my case.
Moreover, I found out later on the reviews that this happened to a lot of customers that their customer service are not helpful and Priceline will not refund anything to any problems. It’s not good for human society to have this kind of company and steal people money. I lost my $425 for the hotel I didn’t stay because Priceline sent me the cancellation confirmation. I worked so hard to get this money to the business like this. Hope this will be helpful for the people who read it and not to use Priceline website. If you don’t want to waste your value time, your soul and spirit. Or you don’t want to deal with the bank or the court, stay away from Priceline.
Remove the charges from my AFFIRM Account
I will never, ever do business with Price Line or Affirm, Ever! And, will make it abundantly clear that they are a predatory Lender. I have been dealing with a flight charge that I refused to pay for six months. It was a double booked flight, the same airline. My credit has taken a severe hit although my account with AFFIRM "my "Lender" has been in dispute for months. Yet, they were allowed to affect my credit as I refused to pay. Essentially, I had no choice other than to pay a bill which is fraudulent and untrue. I am in contact and providing my information to Washington State Consumer Protection upon the advice of my attorney. I will also ask for monetary damages past for the six months that I have had to deal with the charges which are inaccurate an not my liability and never have been.
Car rental reservation
I currently have a round trip flight scheduled for my son. I went back to Priceline for the car rental and it took me forever to find a reasonable EIGHT day rental car for my 23 year old sue to his age. After I paid the $550, not including insurance, I saw on my itinerary email the exact same size car and length of time for almost $100 less. Why would they not offer that same one, knowing his age, on MY profile on the app? I cannot cancel and they will not change it, and they will not change it to that price. Contacting them is easy, yes, if you can understand them on the phone and if the chat stays connected OR if they were able to handle things. I couldn’t even ask a question BEFORE I rented it, even though I did have the flight already paid for. I also had a $50 coupon that deducted only $18 from the price I paid. Very frustrating.
Desired outcome: Refund the difference in what I paid and the price offered to me. If they had answered my questions before I booked it there would be no issue. See attached pics of the differences.
