I would like to redeem my Flight Credit for Reference 6FWUHW for flights that I want to book in October. The credit expires on 13 November 2023.

The original booking was for a return flight for two people from Perth to Johannesburg in 2021. This flights was cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions in WA. Although there is a condition that clearly states that I can use the credit towards one way or return booking from the country in which the original ticket was issued (Australia), your staff interpret this condition as that I can only use the credit to book a flight on the same route (Perth to Johannesburg). Qantas decided not to fly that route anymore which makes this credit worthless as they do not allow me to use it on an alternative flight despite spending hours on the phone.

I think your staff got it wrong and would appreciate your assistance to book flights for an alternative route using this credit as it would be obviously unfair to me the customer. Please call me at my phone number listed under my frequent flyer membership.

Desired outcome: Either return the credit in cash to my bank account or allow me to use the full credit to offset a Qantas booking to fly from Perth to another destination on a Qantas route.
