In February 2022 I Booked my Flight package with Qantas for my vist to Australia on 6 June 2022. I was to fly from Cape Town To Johannesburg with BA Airways Flight 6412 and return from Johannesburg with BA on 20 July 2022 on Flight 6429. On 1 June 2022 I was informed that BA was grounded by Comair and I would receive a refund within 6 to 8 weeks. So I had to frantically get another flight from Cape Town and managed to get a Flight with LIft Airways but an additional cost of R2840.00. When I was to return on 20July from Sydney to Johannesburg to get my connecting Flight with Lift Airways the plane in Melbourne was delayed and we were told on arrival that our plane had left without us, despite Qantas assuring us they would wait for us. So we were diverted via Emirates to Dubai and only arrived the following morning and then had to then wait for our flight wiith Emirates to Johannesburg, This resulted in me not being able to get my Flight form Cape Town, so I had to once again scramble to get another flight with FlySafair to George with a further cost of R1833.00. I also had booked my busfare early in May from Caoe Town to Mossel Bay on 21 July 2022 which also left without me. R433.00. With the delay in Sydney and Dubai I had to buy meals and coffe which cost me a further! 5 Dollars and in Dubai another $0 US Dollars for coffe and something to eat. I am thus claiming R 5833 from Qantas for being out-of=pocket still to this day despite numerous emails and corrspondence to them in SA and Sydney but to no avail, Please I am a Pensioner and need your assistance in getting me my refund which is long overdue.
