Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rackspace: Lack of Respect for Confidentiality
I had a bad experience with Rackspace. Their customer service kept on asking me about things that I specifically told them to keep confidential. It was really frustrating. I felt like my privacy was not being respected. I hope they improve their customer service in the future.
Rackspace: The Ultimate Hosting Provider for Reliable VM Servers
Rackspace is the best place to go for VM servers. I've been using them for years and they've always been great. They're not paying me to say this, but I just have to give them a shoutout. Their servers are top-notch and they've never let me down. If you're looking for a reliable hosting provider, Rackspace is the way to go.
Solid Cloud Services with Rackspace: A Review
Rackspace is a pretty good option for cloud services. The prices aren't the cheapest, but they're not too bad either. And the quality of the service is really good. You don't have to worry about downtime or anything like that. And if you do have any issues, the client services and support are there to help you out. They're really helpful and responsive. Overall, I'd say Rackspace is a solid choice for cloud services.
Rackspace Review: Reliable Hosting with Great Support and Uptime
if you want to avoid the headache. Their support team is always available and willing to help with any issues that arise. The uptime is also great, I haven't experienced any major downtime since switching to rackspace. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other hosting options, but in my opinion, it's worth it for the peace of mind and reliability. Overall, I highly recommend rackspace for anyone looking for reliable and high-quality hosting.
Reliable Hosting and Cloud Services with Rackspace: A Review
They have a lot of options for different types of hosting, and their customer service is pretty good. I've had a few issues with them in the past, but they were always quick to resolve them. The only downside is that they can be a bit pricey compared to some other hosting providers out there.
One thing I really like about rackspace is their cloud hosting. It's really easy to set up and manage, and it's very reliable. I've had a few clients who have had issues with other cloud providers, but they've never had any problems with rackspace.
Another thing I like about rackspace is their dedicated hosting. It's great for clients who need a lot of resources and want more control over their server. The only downside is that it can be a bit expensive, but it's worth it if you need the extra power.
Overall, I would definitely recommend rackspace to anyone who needs reliable hosting and cloud services. They may be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Their customer service is great, and they have a lot of options to choose from.
Disappointing Experience with Rackspace: System Down for 3 Days with No Help
Man, I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Rackspace. My whole system's been down for three whole days now, and I haven't been able to get any help from them at all. It's been a real nightmare. And even when they do finally get back to me, it's always in the middle of the night, which is just ridiculous. And even then, all they do is read off the same old instructions that I've already read a million times on their website. It's like, come on guys, can't you offer anything more than that? I'm really starting to lose my patience here.
Disappointing Experience with Rackspace: Spam Emails and Poor Customer Service
I had a bad experience with Rackspace. I started getting a lot of spam emails and it took me a while to figure out where they were coming from. It turns out that Rackspace was the source of the spam and I was a client of theirs. It took me days to get the spam stopped and it was a real hassle. I had to contact their customer service team and it took many hours to get a response. The customer service team was based in India and they were not very helpful. They seemed to be more interested in pushing paper than actually helping me with my problem. I was really frustrated with the whole experience and I told Rackspace that I would leave. It was a real shame because I thought that Rackspace was an American company that I could trust. But now I am done with them forever. Another American company bites the dust!
Disappointing Support Experience with Rackspace: Considering Alternatives After 5+ Years
I been using Rackspace for more than five years now and I gotta say, I'm thinking of leaving. Their support used to be top-notch, always there for me 24/7 and the folks I talked to were just fantastic. But lately, it seems like they've outsourced some of their support overseas and, like a lot of other companies that have done this, the quality of support has taken a nosedive. It's really disappointing, ya know? :(
I mean, I get it. Companies gotta save money where they can, but it's frustrating when it comes at the expense of customer service. I've had a few issues lately where I've had to call in for help and it's just been a mess. The language barrier is tough, and it seems like the folks I'm talking to don't really know what they're doing.
It's a shame, really. I used to recommend Rackspace to all my friends and colleagues, but now I'm not so sure. I'm gonna start looking around for other options, I think. It's just not worth the hassle anymore.
800Hosting Review: Catastrophic Failure and Lost Data - Why We Switched to Rackspace
Back in January 2010, we decided to give managed hosting a try with 800Hosting. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster. Their website was full of promises, but they failed to deliver on any of them. Our fully managed websites went down due to a catastrophic server failure, and we had to notify them about it. Even though we had purchased 24/7 monitoring, they didn't seem to know what was going on. We had also purchased a fully managed dedicated server to avoid such problems, but it didn't help. They lost valuable customer data and almost all product images. We had purchased daily backups, but they didn't provide what they promised.
We were very skeptical and worried about our next host after this experience. We couldn't believe that a web host could be so unhelpful and show no understanding of how being down for six days was impacting our business. It was unbelievable, especially considering their website made it seem like such a thing was impossible.
But then we found Rackspace, and everything changed. We've been with them for almost a year now, and we have no complaints about any of our websites, blogs, or databases that we've hosted with them. They've delivered all that they promised, and more.
Rackspace is more expensive than other hosts, but they provide peace of mind. They seem to understand how much our success depends on them delivering the goods. They provide monitoring, pro-active support, technical support 24/7, and improved server performance. We've had no downtime, no data loss, and no worries. This is priceless to us.
We wished we had found Rackspace before 800Hosting. It would have saved us a lot of trouble and headaches. We highly recommend Rackspace to anyone who wants a reliable and trustworthy web host.
Rackspace Review: Major Infrastructure Failures and Disappointing Support
Rackspace has been around for 20 years and has been known for providing top-notch service and support. In the past, you could always count on speaking with a knowledgeable technician here in the United States who fully understood the technology. However, things have changed recently. A few months ago, I called for support and had to speak with an outsourced technician who I could hardly understand and who could only read scripts as responses. This was a bit disappointing, but I didn't think too much of it since I had always had great support previously.
Unfortunately, Rackspace has been experiencing major infrastructure failures lately. In early November 2022, their POP servers went down. Then in December 2022, their entire Exchange server infrastructure was shut down by what they have stated to be a ransomware attack. This time they were down for days and have stated that they don't know when they can restore service or if they will be able to recover customers' data. This is a major blow to their reputation and has caused many customers to lose faith in their ability to provide reliable service.
In an attempt to help their customers, Rackspace is offering a migration path to their 365 server offerings. However, this process has not been smooth sailing for everyone. I tried to make this migration for one of my clients with no success. After 2 days of attempts and many phone calls with technicians who speak a completely different brand of English, and who didn't have access to the technology required to overcome the hurdles, I eventually spoke with a U.S. based technician who had been pulled in from another division who was able to overcome one of the hurdles but was still unable to help fully migrate to the 365 service. At this point, my client's email had been down for 3 days with no service restoration date in sight. This was completely untenable, and I had to move my client's email accounts to another provider.
As someone who works in cyber security, I am always on the lookout for ransomware and other malware that may affect my clients. I never anticipated Rackspace would fall to ransomware and not have a readiness plan in place. This is a major concern for me and has caused me to lose faith in their ability to provide reliable service.
Overall, I am disappointed in the recent changes at Rackspace. They are no longer the same company they were, and it seems like everything has changed. They now outsource support, and perhaps the new ownership found cheaper engineers as well. This is a sad divorce for me because we had a good run together for 20 years. I hosted many of my client's email at Rackspace and took comfort that they were a great company. However, after this incident, I no longer have any faith in Rackspace and will be moving my other clients to another provider as well.

Mixed Experience with Rackspace: Great Hosting, Poor Customer Service
I had some issues with my website and it took forever to get a response from their support team. When I finally did get a response, it wasn't very helpful and I had to keep reaching out to get my issue resolved. It was frustrating and made me question whether or not I should continue using Rackspace.
However, I will say that their hosting services are top-notch. My website runs smoothly and I haven't had any major downtime issues. The control panel is easy to navigate and I appreciate the variety of options available for customization.
Overall, I think Rackspace has the potential to be a great hosting provider if they can improve their customer service. It's important to have a reliable support team that can quickly and effectively address any issues that arise. If they can work on that, I would definitely recommend them to others looking for a reliable hosting solution.
