Rate My Teacher Disrespectful Website Allows Trash Talking of Hardworking Teachers - A Total Joke

This website is a total joke. It's like they don't even care about the hardworking teachers who are trying to make a difference in the lives of their students. I mean, seriously, how can they allow people to come on here and trash talk educators like that? It's just not right.

I think this site is a prime example of how our society has lost respect for the teaching profession. It's like people think that just because they went to school, they know everything there is to know about teaching. But that's just not the case. Teaching is a difficult and demanding job, and it takes a special kind of person to do it well.

I really feel sorry for the teachers who have to deal with this kind of nonsense. They work so hard every day to help their students learn and grow, and they deserve our respect and admiration. But instead, they have to put up with this garbage from people who have no idea what they're talking about.

Overall, I would say that this site is a complete waste of time. If you want to know what a teacher is really like, go talk to them in person. Don't rely on some anonymous review from someone who probably has an axe to grind. Teachers deserve better than this, and so do our students.

Rate My Teacher Ratemyteacher: A Valuable Resource for Student Voices and Accountability

But overall, it's a great platform for students to share their thoughts and opinions on their teachers and the education system as a whole. It's important for students to have a voice and be able to express their experiences, and Ratemyteacher provides that opportunity.

I've personally used Ratemyteacher to research potential teachers for my classes, and it's been helpful in making informed decisions. It's also interesting to see how different students have varying opinions on the same teacher, which shows the diversity of experiences within the same classroom.

However, it's important to take the reviews with a grain of salt, as some may be biased or based on personal grudges. It's also important to remember that teachers are human too, and may have bad days or make mistakes. But overall, Ratemyteacher is a valuable resource for students to have a say in their education and hold educators accountable.

One thing that could be improved is the website's design and user interface. It can be a bit clunky and difficult to navigate at times, which may deter some users from utilizing the service. But with some updates and improvements, Ratemyteacher could become an even more effective tool for students.

In conclusion, Ratemyteacher is a useful platform for students to share their experiences and opinions on their teachers and the education system. While there may be some flaws, it's important to have a space for student voices to be heard and for educators to be held accountable.

Rate My Teacher Ratemyteachers: A Fake Website Enabling Teacher Abuse and Misinformation

This website is not what it seems. It claims to be a platform for students to rate their teachers, but in reality, it is a fake website that does not allow new users or comments. As someone who was abused by teachers in Portland, OR while growing up, I find it disheartening that this website contributes to the abuse, removal of good information, and keeping kids from learning who their abusers are and what permanent measures can be taken against them.

School is not optional for kids, and teachers know this. Unfortunately, some teachers take advantage of their position of power and abuse their students. Ratemyteachers plays a role in enabling this abuse by pretending to be a real website, but it is clear that they have no users or reviews. I tried to create an account on this website, but I never received a confirmation link. This is a clear indication that this website is fake and should be taken down.

It is important for students to have a platform where they can share their experiences with their teachers. However, this website is not the solution. We need a real team to create a website that is safe and secure for students to share their experiences. This website should be monitored to ensure that it is not being used to enable abuse or to spread false information.

In conclusion, Ratemyteachers is a fake website that should be taken down. It does not allow new users or comments, and it contributes to the abuse of students by enabling teachers to continue their abusive behavior. We need a real team to create a website that is safe and secure for students to share their experiences with their teachers.

Rate My Teacher The Censorship of Rate My Teacher: Why Eliminating Reviews is a Mistake

I remember the good old days when Rate My Teacher was the go-to website for students to check out their teachers before the start of a new school year. It was a great way to get a sense of what to expect from the teachers who would be shaping our education for the next year. However, things have changed, and not for the better.

The censorship on the website has ruined what was once a beautiful thing. It used to be that you could read reviews from other students who had taken the same classes and had the same teachers. You could get a sense of what to expect from the teacher's teaching style, their personality, and their expectations. But now, the review section has been eliminated, and all we have left are ratings.

While ratings can be helpful, they are not nearly as informative as a well-thought-out review. Ratings are subjective and don't tell the whole story. For example, a teacher may have a high rating for textbook use, but that doesn't tell us anything about their teaching style or how they interact with students.

Creating guidelines for what can and can't be written in reviews would be a better solution than eliminating the review section altogether. This way, students could still get a sense of what to expect from their teachers without having to rely solely on ratings.

In conclusion, Rate My Teacher used to be a valuable resource for students, but censorship has ruined it. While ratings can be helpful, they don't tell the whole story. Bringing back the review section with guidelines for what can and can't be written would be a better solution.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher's Decision to Remove Ratings is a Terrible Mistake

The previous version of Rate My Teacher was pretty good, in my opinion. It gave students the chance to express their honest opinions about their teachers. However, there was a problem. Some students were using the site to harass their teachers. What should have been done about this? Well, the site could have been moderated more closely and inappropriate comments could have been removed. But instead, the site's administrators decided to take away the ability for students to rate their teachers altogether. This was a terrible decision, in my opinion. The site is now pretty much useless.

I understand that there is a big difference between being insulted because of your identity (such as being called homophobic or misogynistic names) and being insulted because you are a bad teacher. In my opinion, teachers who are bad at their job should be held accountable. If a student has a bad experience with a teacher, they should be able to share that experience with others. This is where Rate My Teacher used to come in handy.

I remember reading a comment from a teacher who was complaining about the site. They said that they wished there was a site called ratemywhingystudents.com. This really annoyed me. It's not the students' job to make their teachers feel good about themselves. It's the teachers' job to provide a good education and create a positive learning environment. If a teacher can't handle criticism, they shouldn't be in the profession. I hope that any teacher who was happy about the changes to Rate My Teacher because they no longer have to deal with criticism loses their job. It's only fair.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Disgraceful Platform for Anonymous Slander

This website, Rate My Teacher, is a total disgrace. It's just not right for students to be able to anonymously slander their teachers online. If they really think that their teacher is so bad, why don't they just confront them face to face? It just goes to show what kind of students they really are. It seems to me that only the ones who have negative things to say about their teachers are the ones who use this website. My good students are appalled at these others who are unable to face the fact that they are responsible for their own success in the classroom.

I work very hard to help my students succeed, and my record speaks for itself. In the four years that I have worked at the college, I have only had four students who did not pass their exit exams. These students who write slanderous comments about me are not even able to pass their college entrance exams. If it wasn't for classes like mine, they wouldn't even be able to be in college at all. Most of these students have no idea what to expect from college, and yet they feel like they have the right to abuse their teachers.

How can a student decide that a teacher with 26 years of experience and a Masters Degree doesn't know what they are talking about? It's totally insulting and a disgrace. Teachers work hard to help their students succeed, and it's just not right for them to be attacked like this. I hope that this website will be shut down soon, so that teachers can get back to doing what they do best - teaching.

Rate My Teacher Redesigned Rate My Teacher Website Fails to Impress: A Disappointing Review

The website Rate My Teacher (ratemyteacher.com) has undergone a redesign, and it's not looking good. The old website may have looked dated, but it was easy to navigate. Now, it takes twice as long to search for your school. The only positive thing about the new website is that the art looks nice...? But that's not what people come to this website for.

The main feature of the website that made it so popular was the comments in the reviews for teachers. This gave students and parents a voice and the opportunity to give their opinions on the teachers. Sure, there were some extremely offensive and rude comments, but that's to be expected on any website with the option to comment. Most comments genuinely had people's feelings in them, and it was helpful.

But now, after the redesign, everything is gone. Those old records of teachers and reviews? Gone. Literally, the old website had every teacher listed in my school, but now only three show up. The easy-to-navigate style the old website had? Gone. This is not the same ratemyteachers website.

The new review system is extremely safe and inoffensive. People don't have a voice now, everything is censored, and some teachers can now relax knowing that their lackluster teaching cannot be called out anymore. I sincerely hope they are happy now. This website is destroyed.

It's a shame that the redesign has ruined what was once a great website. The new website may look nice, but it's lost its purpose. People come to this website to give their opinions on teachers, and now they can't. The website is now useless.

Rate My Teacher New Owners of 'Rate my Teacher' Delete All Reviews - Students Lose Voice in Evaluating Teachers

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about the new owners of "Rate my Teacher" (as of 2019). They went and deleted all the reviews that students had left over the past 10 years or so. What gives, man? I mean, sure, there were some reviews that were rude or racist or threatening, but they could have just gotten rid of those ones. Instead, they got rid of all of them, even the ones that were helpful and accurate. That's just not cool.

I mean, let's be real here. There are some teachers out there who are just plain terrible. And students need a way to express their experiences with them. It's not like teachers are subject to performance reviews like most other professionals. That's just not fair. Teachers can have a huge impact on a student's emotional well-being and future success in their professional life. So why aren't they being evaluated each year like most other professionals?

Honestly, I think the government should step in and make performance reviews mandatory for all teachers across Canada. It's only fair. And until that happens, websites like "Rate my Teacher" are really important for students to have a voice and share their experiences. But now that all those old reviews are gone, it's like starting from scratch. It's a real shame.

Rate My Teacher Review: Recent Changes to Teacher Rating Website Render it Useless

This website used to be a great resource for students to share their opinions about teachers and help each other make informed decisions about which teachers to choose for their courses. However, the recent changes to the website have made it practically useless. The entire database of reviews has been erased, and we can no longer see other people's comments on teachers.

The decision to remove the teacher's power to comment was a terrible one. Teachers were no longer able to respond to constructive criticism or wrongful criticism. This led to some students publicly shaming teachers, which was not fair. Instead of requiring an account to review teachers and to comment, and banning those accounts that were verbally abusing teachers, they completely removed all reviews. This was a terrible decision.

Even if people start making reviews again, the attempt at removing biased reviews turned into a forced set of specific questions that you'd answer. This is censorship. Even if your reviews come back, no one's going to know any useful details about the teacher.

The revamped website has terrible design, the old one was old but still very well made and compact. The business decision behind revamping the website was because they didn't see that they already had something great, they just needed to put extra effort to find a solution to bad students saying bad things. Now it looks like the front page was a pre-made website from a free website-making service. This website is terrible now.

Rate My Teacher Unconscious Bias and Entrenched Favoritism in Education: A Review of Teachers and Principals on Ratemyteachers

Many teachers are worried about the state of education under the current administration, but there are deeper issues at play that they should be concerned about. The good old boy system is still alive and well in many schools, and teachers may not even realize that they are unconsciously biased and demeaning towards certain students. This is a major contributor to the divided state of our country. Teachers often align themselves with the better side of the tracks, but they frequently work with lower middle to lower income students and students of color in public schools. Despite being tenured salaried workers with benefits, some teachers have patronizing attitudes towards free lunches, dumbing down curricula, covert racism, and self-congratulatory methods that border on contemptible.

School principals can also contribute to the problem by promoting teachers through favored systems that operate with distinct class, color, and gender biases. One principal even suggested that working as an aide at his high school would be a "nice gig" for someone with a master's degree and high test scores, completely ignoring their qualifications. This kind of patriarchal complacency is insulting and contributes to the problem of entrenched favoritism.

One example of this favoritism is the promotion of a rookie teacher 20 years younger than a more qualified candidate. The principal helped arrange for the younger teacher to receive teacher of the year certificates from a for-profit college with a vested interest in funneling graduates to Corinthian. Even after the college went bust, the teacher still displays the certificates, which only serves to feed their overweening pride. Certificates and publications do not equate to teaching empathy or engaging students at their level.

When a reviewer posted comments about this teacher's style not suiting the level of student ability, biases, and lack of engagement, Ratemyteachers took down the comments. This is disappointing but not surprising, as anyone can sign up to be a school moderator. In a place with entrenched favoritism, it's likely that moderators will protect their interests. However, Ratemyteachers should consider the service they are offering to the public at large. Not only parents, students, and temporary staff deserve a voice, but prospective enrollees and those who are shopping around for schools as well.

There are more forces to consider besides the neighboring value of real estate and who is allowed to matriculate into the local movers-and-shakers. Ratemyteachers is helping to preserve what little voice we have left to express our views and make our voices heard. Despite the threats of litigation or slander, it's important to continue offering this service to the public. Thank you for giving us a platform to share our experiences and opinions about teachers and schools.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: The Disappointing Removal of the Commenting Feature

Rate My Teacher used to be the bomb diggity, but now it's just meh. They went and took away the commenting feature, which is a total bummer. How am I supposed to know what the teachers are really like if I can't read what the students have to say? It's like trying to eat a sandwich without any bread - it just doesn't make sense.

Back in the day, I used to spend hours scrolling through the comments on Rate My Teacher. I loved reading about the teachers who were total legends and the ones who were total duds. It was like getting the inside scoop on the teachers before I even stepped foot in their classroom. But now, it's like they've taken away the best part of the website.

Sure, the reviews are still there, but they don't really tell you much. It's just a bunch of stars and a few words about the teacher. It's like trying to judge a book by its cover - you don't really know what you're getting until you start reading it. And let's be real, who has time to read through every single review on the website?

I get that they probably took away the commenting feature because people were being mean or whatever, but come on. It's the internet - people are always going to be mean. That doesn't mean you should take away the whole feature. It's like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the new Rate My Teacher. It used to be my go-to website for checking out my teachers, but now I'm not even sure if it's worth my time. Hopefully they'll bring back the commenting feature soon, because without it, the website just isn't the same.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Lifesaver for Students Looking to Avoid Bad Teachers

This website, Rate My Teacher, is a real lifesaver for students who want to know what they're getting into before they sign up for a class. I mean, who wants to be stuck with a teacher who's a total psycho, right? And let me tell you, I've had my fair share of those.

But there's one teacher in particular who really takes the cake. I won't name names, but let's just say that this guy has been attacking students both physically and verbally for years. It's a real shame that they're even considering naming a field after him. I mean, what kind of message does that send to our kids?

Personally, I think they should name the field after someone who actually deserves it. Like Roger Reynolds, for example. He was the coach of the Senior Football team and led them to championships. Plus, he was always patient and considerate with his students. Now that's the kind of teacher we should be honoring.

As for the guy who "coached" the junior football team, well, let's just say he wasn't exactly the most inspiring leader. In fact, I'd go so far as to say he was pretty useless. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Anyway, if you're looking for a way to avoid teachers like the one I mentioned earlier, then Rate My Teacher is definitely the way to go. Just be sure to take everything with a grain of salt, because you never know who's leaving those reviews.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Harmful Website Encouraging Cyberbullying

This website called Rate My Teacher is a place where students can go and leave reviews about their teachers or professors. It's a cowardly way for students who are usually failing in a class to attack their teachers. I don't like cyberbullying, so I'm not a fan of this website.

But I have to admit, the website has made some changes recently. They are monitoring posts more closely and not allowing comments to go out immediately. That's a step in the right direction, but the site is still destructive.

I think it's important for students to have a voice and be able to express their opinions about their teachers. But this website is not the way to do it. It's too easy for students to hide behind a screen and say hurtful things.

Teachers work hard and deserve respect. They are trying to help students learn and succeed. If a student is struggling in a class, they should talk to their teacher and try to work things out. Leaving a negative review on a website is not the answer.

Overall, I think Rate My Teacher is a harmful website. It encourages cyberbullying and doesn't promote healthy communication between students and teachers. I would not recommend using this website.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Biased and Hurtful Website for Teachers

Rate My Teacher is a website that lets students give their opinions on their teachers. It used to be a place where teachers and parents could also leave comments, but now it's just for students. The problem with this is that most of the students who leave comments are the ones who are unhappy with their grades. They don't do their homework, they turn in late assignments, and they blame their teachers for their bad grades. They also complain if their teachers challenge them.

The site is like a public shaming wall for teachers. It's hurtful for the teaching profession because it allows students to say whatever they want without any consequences. The comments can be very negative and hurtful, and they can damage a teacher's reputation. It's not fair that teachers have to deal with this kind of public criticism.

Overall, Rate My Teacher is not a good website. It's biased towards unhappy students and it's hurtful for teachers. It's important to remember that teachers are people too, and they deserve to be treated with respect. If you have a problem with your teacher, it's better to talk to them directly instead of leaving negative comments on a website.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Helpful Tool for Education Reform, But Beware of Sensitive Teachers

Rate My Teacher is a website that I really enjoy using. I like to read the comments that people leave about their teachers. Some of them are really funny and make me laugh. But I also like to read the serious comments that people leave about teachers who are not very good. I have had a lot of teachers who were not very good, so it is interesting to read what other people think about them.

Some of the serious comments that people leave on Rate My Teacher are really true. They point out some serious flaws in our education system. It is important to know what is wrong with our education system so that we can try to fix it. I think that Rate My Teacher is a good way to get people talking about these issues.

However, some of the teachers on Rate My Teacher are very sensitive. They cannot take a joke and get upset when people leave funny comments about them. This has caused some problems on the website. There are now fewer reviews than there used to be, and that is a shame. I think that people should be able to leave honest reviews about their teachers without worrying about hurting their feelings.

Overall, I think that Rate My Teacher is a good website. It is a good way to find out what other people think about your teachers. But it is important to remember that some teachers are sensitive and cannot take a joke. We should be respectful of their feelings while still being honest about our experiences.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Good Idea Gone Wrong - Protecting Teachers from Online Bullying

So, I was browsing the internet and stumbled upon this website called Rate My Teacher. It's a pretty cool site where you can rate your teachers and see what other students think about them. I decided to check out my own teacher and was shocked to see some really nasty comments about her. I mean, some of them were just plain disgusting. It turns out that these comments had been on the site for six whole months before my teacher found out about them. Can you imagine? Six months of reading those awful things about yourself and feeling completely helpless.

I can't even imagine how my teacher must have felt when she saw those comments. They were so vile and disgusting that I'm surprised she was even able to go back to work. I mean, who says things like that? It's just not right. And the worst part is that these bullies are protected by our Constitution. I mean, come on. That's just not fair.

I really hope that something can be done about this. No one should have to go through what my teacher went through. It's just not right. I mean, sure, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there's a difference between having an opinion and being a bully. And these comments were definitely bullying.

Overall, I think that Rate My Teacher is a good idea, but it needs to be monitored more closely. There's just no excuse for allowing comments like that to stay up for so long. It's not fair to the teachers who work so hard to educate us. They deserve better than that.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: A Harmful Platform for Personal Attacks and Misinformation

This website called Rate My Teacher is not a good place to find out about your teachers. The students who are happy with their grades don't post on it. It's always students who are doing nothing in the class and are failing who want to 'revenge' the teacher. They post comments that have nothing to do with topics or material covered by a teacher. Instead, they usually make personal attacks about the teacher being old or fat, etc. This is not fair to the teacher and it's not helpful for other students who want to know about the teacher's teaching style and the material they cover.

In my opinion, this site needs to be removed as soon as possible. It's not fair to the teachers who work hard to teach their students and it's not helpful for students who want to learn. Instead of using this site, students should talk to their friends or classmates who have had the same teacher before. They can ask them about their experience and get a better idea of what to expect.

Overall, I think that Rate My Teacher is a bad website and should be taken down. It's not helpful for anyone and only causes problems. Teachers deserve respect and students should focus on learning instead of making personal attacks.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher: Mixed Bag of Reviews and Potential Bias

I've been using Rate My Teacher for a while now, and I gotta say, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. I've tried to leave honest reviews of different professors, both positive and negative, but it seems like only the positive ones get posted. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's great to see some of my favorite teachers get the recognition they deserve, but it's frustrating when my constructive criticism gets taken down.

I can't help but wonder if there's some kind of personal incentive for the moderators to take down negative reviews. Maybe they have connections with certain professors, or maybe they're getting bribed to keep certain reviews off the site. I don't know for sure, but it definitely feels like there's some kind of bias going on.

It's a shame, really, because I think Rate My Teacher could be a really valuable resource if it were more honest and transparent. As it stands, though, I wouldn't put too much stock in the review stats. Take everything with a grain of salt, and always do your own research before making any decisions based on what you read on the site.

Rate My Teacher Disappointed with Rate My Teacher's Removal of Comments Section

Now, it seems like the site is just a shell of what it used to be. Sure, you can still rate your teachers, but the comments section is gone. What's the point of rating your teacher if you can't even explain why you gave them a certain rating? It's like giving a Yelp review without being able to write a review.

I understand that some teachers may have been unfairly targeted with negative comments, but that's just the nature of the internet. People are going to say mean things, and it's up to the website to moderate those comments. Removing the comments section altogether just seems like a cop-out.

Overall, I'm disappointed in the direction that Rate My Teacher has taken. It used to be a fun way to blow off steam and share your opinions about your teachers, but now it's just a bland rating system with no substance. I hope that the site's administrators will reconsider their decision and bring back the comments section, because that's what made Rate My Teacher so special in the first place.

Rate My Teacher Rate My Teacher Disappoints: Banning Written Reviews Leaves Students in the Dark

So, I recently checked out Rate My Teacher, and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. They went and banned all written reviews, instead of just setting some guidelines for what's acceptable and what's not. As someone who gets pretty anxious about new teachers, I relied on those written reviews to get a sense of what I was getting into. But now, it's like they just don't care about us students anymore.

It really makes you wonder if the teachers who were getting all those complaints deserved them. I mean, if they were really doing their job right, why would so many students be complaining about them? It just doesn't add up.

I get that they want to keep things civil and all, but come on. We're not robots, we're human beings with feelings and opinions. And sometimes, those opinions aren't going to be all sunshine and rainbows. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to express them.

Overall, I'd say that Rate My Teacher is a bit of a letdown now. Sure, you can still rate teachers with stars, but that doesn't really tell you much. I miss being able to read what other students had to say about their experiences. It made me feel like I wasn't alone in my struggles. But now, it's like we're all just shouting into the void.
